I am very disappointed. You have an I phone 4 S, which I use in my company, as a small office when I'm not home. Suddenly the screen freezes and I have to reboot the iPhone's to get it working again. When it starts up, the changed melody calls. Sometimes change the sound again by itself. When it rings, it's not always respond and I lose calls. It has also been incredibly slow. I have warranties and submitted it to repration. Got the message that it had passed all test and a bill of $ 43.00 With the message that the continued problem I could take it back, yes, and if it still bestos test I would get ydderligere a bill of $ 43.00. I daren't take it again, even though the problem is still there when I can not see that Your test would be different next time. I think it's very poor service and feel that could just as well say I am filled with lies. I had expected better service from Appel.

I have made 3 unsuccessful calls today using the telephone number on the Apple website to talk to a real person in the Apple store in Kingston. Firstly I have to engage with an automated system which I gave up with. Then I got through to someone in Ireland who refused to put me through to the store until I told him what I wanted to talk to the store about.Apple, what has happened to you.......

My iphone 5 stopped working, so I made an appointment at the Glasgow, Buchanan Street store to see a 'genius' who was anything but. When I got to the store I spoke to a female worker, she told me to go speak to a male standing by the door and he would book me in with the genius bar. He told me to just hang about the store until someone came and got me. I waited absolutely ages. In that time lots of staff seemed to be hanging about doing nothing, a few times people came in that they obviously knew and they would go away and speak to them. I got bored waiting so went and asked one of them what was happening and he had no idea why I was told to just hang about. He then told me to go upstairs and speak to a young guy at the top of the stairs. He thought I'd only just arrived in the store as no one had let them know I was there, even though the guy I saw at the door said he had. I eventually was seen by a 'genius' he barely even looked at my phone. He looked up my details on the computer and said 'Oh, it's got a major fault and as it's a few weeks out of it's warranty it will cost £199 to repair' he then suggested I just purchase another new phone as 'In the long run that will be cheaper' I left the store and took my phone to a few smaller phone repair stores. They all looked properly at the phone and gave me quotes of between £24 an £36 for what they all said was a fairly minor fault. Let one of them fix it and working fine now. Apple are crooks. Also no charger ever works for more than a few months, not even ones purchased from the apple store.

Pre-ordered iPhone 6s and the main camera stopped working with in first week. Went to nearest store to get it fixed, nope they can't help because I bought the phone from Apple.com and they won't service my phone at local store. Spent at least 20 hours todate with customer support team and still struggling to return the phone and get refund. Every time I call them, even with case reference number, had to start the story from the beginning and after 30-45 minutes they simply disconnect the call or transfer to wrong department. Either they don't care about customer or they have not been trained properly.Wouldn't buy apple product again and even if I have to I won't buy it from online store.

What a joy it was to visit the Apple Store on 59th Street! As a non-techie with copious reservations, I was pleased with the service that I received from salespeople Cristina Twitty and Brian Velez. My visit started with Cristina, who is the consummate professional. She was extremely patient with me. My past experiences with laptops have been so dire that I was left skeptical about spyware and malware and the whole internet experience. I had many questions, and although she answered all of them, she didn't mind, and even encouraged, my asking all the questions that I needed to before investing in my purchase. She answered all of my questions until she was absolutely sure that I understood all the points. She went beyond the call of duty by going to different Apple experts to explain certain points to me to ascertain that I understood what my purchase of a MacBook Air entailed. My concern was mostly about malicious spyware and malware, and she asked several experts to explain everything to me until she felt that I was comfortable with my imminent purchase. I left the store assured that I made the best purchase. Cristina's selling savvy was stellar! Then she made sure that Brian Velez introduced me to my MacBook Air. Brian was a joy to learn from, and he was so patient with me. His great disposition put me at ease, and he also answered all of my questions while teaching me how to navigate my new MacBook. He was a delight! Both salespeople were beautiful spirits that I had the pleasure of learning from. I have never had such a pleasant experience making a purchase. I will definitely go back to the Apple Store for any technological purchases that I need, and that is a credit to two wonderful salespeople! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

I am so impressed with the wonderful support I recieved from Apple when I called with a problem after an update. The support agent was not condescending, even though I'm not very up on the lingo and processes like iCloud. He was calm, supportive, and I really felt he understood my frustration. Thanks to his questions, we were able to resolve my problem with out a reset of my phone. This level of support is so reassuring! Thank you!!!

Great products - until you have an issue with one of them and try to sort it out. After downloading a software update, my entire iTunes content disappeared. Not so worried about purchased items, as I can always redownload those - it's the CD's I have imported over about 10 years I'm more concerned with. Anyway, I schedule a call with Apple. They don't find a solution, but promise to call back after consulting a senior adviser. No call back. I schedule another call (a different guy rings me), and after 2 hours of conversation and him having access to my laptop so he can actually see what I'm on about, he comes to the conclusion it's a software issue and says he's going to speak with the software team and get in touch over the next few days. 3 weeks later, and nothing... I try the Apple live chat support instead - they can't help with the issue, so I ask if I can book a Genius bar appointment in store. No, apparently I can't, as they are fully booked. Fully booked for the next how many weeks?! I am given a link which apparently I can use to book a Genius appointment at another store, or to keep trying to see if any become available at my chosen store. I click on this link, and I try every single store within a 50 mile radius. The message is the same: Sorry, but we are unable to make your reservation. Please try again or choose another solution. So, every single store is fully booked for the foreseeable future? What other option am I supposed to choose? I have exhausted every single option. Apple seem to think that because they're a massive multi-national corporation, they can treat customers appallingly. Literally the worst service I've ever encountered.

I am a brand new customer to Apple as of this past year. Apple was always something intriguing to me that I wanted to learn more about as I grew up with all Microsoft products. Within the past year I got a MacBook Pro, an Air 2, and have been contemplating the IPhone 6S. I had one rough patch when Apple Care would not repair the MacBook that my son literally sprinkled his sippy cup over when I had by far worse accidents repaired by Geek Squad at Best Buy with no issues. Long story short, we ended up working out a compromise, despite the surprise with their lesser coverage in comparison. When it came to Apple, I had superior expectations with everything do to so many positive reviews from products and customer support. Also, with the price point to what most would consider a premium quality product.Tonight really took the cake. I had an absolutely DISGRACEFUL experience with the closing manager at the South Windsor Connecticut store. Let me start with the fact that I have been working in retail for at least past decade of my life now and I know that more and more of large scale corporations are leaning towards online sales. This is out of "convenience" to the customer (or in my opinion a way of hiring less store employees across the board in a company), companies have set their sales up so that a customer can purchase an item for a quick pick up that very same day at a nearby location. Again, this is supposed to be a "convenience" to the customer. So, tonight I did just that and purchased a typical IPad Mini that most all Apple locations readily have on hand. On the order it said "Pick up: Available Today". It did also state that there would be a confirmation email when the order was ready to be picked up. I did not have time to wait as I only had the free time to pick it up before the store closed so I headed in that direction thinking logically as most would that how much time do they need to get a stock item on their shelf "ready". Heck, I don't mind waiting a few minutes for them to prepare things if need be.I headed in and they greeted me after a few moments and I told them that I was ready to pick up my item. They started to look it up, but couldn't find anything which made me concerned as I process credit and loans in my retail position all the time. So, I understand the speed in which transactions process electronically and had the expectation of Apple being an efficient company. The young lady who helped me, called Apple Online Customer Service to question it further. During the end of that call, so she proceeded to tell me that the order was placed on a 24 hour hold for fraud which was even more upsetting. I glanced at my email on my phone to see that the order had processed on my credit card . She then advised me to call Apple Online Store back to speak with verification (rather than connecting me herself to someone). I called them back myself to get a woman who told me that it takes 24 hours to process the sale and there was nothing they could do other than have me drive back tomorrow (which was a time that I was not available after already driving an hour round trip to/from that location), but that there was no holds or fraud notifications on the order. She suggested that I spoke to a verification specialist about the fraud and then transferred to me to a menu that kept asking me to punch in an extension which further frustrated me.I then asked the young lady in the store if I could speak with a manager who could help clear things up as I had come so far. So, this older man who was the manager that evening immediately confronted me after speaking with her. He aggressively asked if I had received the email that it was ready for pick up. I said no, but it said ready today and I did not have the time to wait before closing. He cut me off and argued that I was wrong for even bothering to come in for that item without any confirmation of it being ready. At the point I purchase that item, it is MINE. I should not have to be told when I can have it when I am a paying customer. That 24 hour hold is a CROCK if I ever did hear one. I sell orders for thousands of dollars in my retail position via online for immediate pick up in store. My order was a measly three hundred something dollars which any fraud department would have squared away in no time. I said maybe I should of bought it from Best Buy and they would let me pick it right up. He encouraged me to go ahead!! He continued to argue with why I was wrong (something that you should NEVER do in retail with your customer). He then just turned his back to me and walked off as I called my friend asking what I should do as I was extremely upset and on the verge of canceling it. If it wasn't for the fact that I am leaving the state before this weekend and this wasn't a gift for my friend who wanted this particular device badly, I surely would have! This has been one hell of a first year dealing with Apple and I am completely turned off.

Went to Fairview store twice today as I did not realize one had to use Genius Bar on computer to get service. My MacPro zero key stopped working and I soon realized how often it is needed including in my case to bank as my client card contains a zero. There is no Apple store near where I am currently located, went to Fairview store in Toronto; was told I needed an appointment; given one for height of rush hour at Don Mills and Sheppard, 6 p.m.; returned and went to Genius Bar and was told that I needed a new keyboard and repair would take up to 2 weeks. The queue might shorten at some point but if I waited they might not have the keyboard (for a MacPro] and I would be bumped out of line. I asked them how a car dealership could operate in such a fashion with people not being able to do without a car for two weeks and not stocking parts. They told me there were space limitations but how much space does a keyboard top take! In a car garage a loaner car would be offered. If that were the case at Apple one might get hooked on substitution of an iPad. However, obviously Apple expects you to buy another product as they would be the first to say that we could not conduct our lives for two weeks without a computer. I was in fact thinking of an iPad as my laptop is relatively heavy but now I do not plan to purchase another Apple product. The lady beside me at the Genius Bar was very frustrated as she uses Apple to conduct her own business and said that service has deteriorated terribly in the past two years.

I've taken the day of work to wait for my parcel on the 25th of Sep. I got sent en email to say it was gong to be delivered. I called them a couple of times to make sure it was going to as i couldn't take another day of work and I was reassured that it would be and that they delivered up until 9 o'clock at night.9 o'clock came and I got Notification saying that the delivery was delayed and would be delivered on the 28th of Sep.Now by this point i was so annoyed, I had taken the day off work and lost £80 because of it. My item will take another 3 days to be delivered which I will have to take today off work again which I will have to lose another £80.It is unacceptable for $1 billion dollar company like Apple to use mickey mouse companies for their deliveries.

Let's be frank, I don't mind spending for quality products. Since I buy Macs, I always bought the best full price with top configuration.I am a professional photographer as well as a business man and this mac is such disappointment as well as the way Apple treats the problem.Bought the mac in July, it went 3 times on repair, came back every time with problem unfixed. This Mac just don't operate well, it's very slow.Problem unsolved and not being able to work, I decide to send an email to M. Tim Cook. after one day a lady calls saying she will solve the problem, she only sent me to another repair center and I am still facing the same problem.Having a defect on a problem is no arm if you react and fix the situation. But spending 3 months without reacting is BAD. If I could get rid of this computer i get a macbook air or get back to a PC. Over with mac for me.

Ordered a refurbished ipad mini2, they promise that I should be able to pick it up in the store within a week. Don't believe. It's not been 10 days and it still hasn't even shipped to the store. They are "promising" that I should be there in three days, which would make it 13 days from I ordered it. I barely even remember that I have one coming.... ridiculous. I chatted with a representative yesterday, and I don't really know what to say when he told I'm "awesome" since I gave him the details he needed.... really, "awesome"? I felt less like that and more like and idiot for taking their original promise of quick delivery seriously. Two days if you ship to home...

I've only had the best experience at the Apple Store in Freehold New Jersey. Because you make your appointment, you're treated special. My recent experience was a iphone that was out of warranty but had an unusual problem. I talk to customer service Apple corporate. It's sad a great company had bad extention as partners. I visit Peach Mac or something like this and I gave them my borken Iphone6. they told me 3-6 days the process and 13 days later I call and call and call to see what happen. At the end they did not fix my cell, they said Apple decide to replace it. Why? Was only broken. I am not so happy with Apple because I wrote them asking and nothing back from them

Ridiculous: I could not simply call my local Apple store to confirm availability of a defective part. Instead, I had to wait on hold for 20 minutes to speak with a corporate technical rep, then make an appointment and wait again at the store. The listed "local store" phone # is really a corporate # that does not connect with the store. The only option was to keep my appointment and start again, only to find that exchange of the defective part only needed to take 2 minutes. It is ridiculous that you can not simply call a local store directly.

I have Purchased a Mac book pro, and was really looking forward to it, BUT IT STILL HAS NOT ARRIVED!The disappointing service of Apple and their disgusting delivery Service Syncreon or UK mail ( they cant even decide which one they are using) took away any trace of excitement.I have bought plenty of Apple products before, so I know purchases are usually smooth, but when things don't work out as usual, expect the worst!!!After having to cancel all my plans on the day of expected delivery and staying at home all day as they cant give me a specified delivery time except for "anywhere from morning till 7PM", only to receive no package at the end of the day.So I again cancelled all my plans on Tuesday and stayed at home, also to get nothing. So i decided to phone apple, and was told they can't help me track the product, and started throwing numbers at me to dial. After waiting 40 mins on hold for Sycreon/Ukmail, an extremely rude "Customer service" staff picked up, who eventually managed to tell me the driver has ran out of shift time and decided to delay my package, THREE DAYS IN A ROW!Cant help but wonder why Apple would rely on such below par delivery service.Don't not expect apple or their rubbish delivery service to keep you in the loop, or update you about your items.Apple will only apologies while their delivery service spits in your face.

I am extremely disappointed at apple's customer service after my order had been placed on 09/12/2014, despite apple has been through a very busy week.First of all, I can't even find an online store or customer service feedback portal on apple.com or any other official site. Only product or website functions have feedback.I tried to place an iphone 6 pre-order on apple.com and I realized it only accepted the shipping address from AT&T database. So I changed the billing address on att.com to the current correct address immediately. Although att.com updated this change very soon, but apple didn't. I called the apple customer service for the 1ST time, regarding this address updating problem. The representative said you need wait 24 hours to see the change but it's OK to put an order, the system would change the address automatically when it shipped the iphone out. I was skeptical about this answer so I called the customer service for the 2ND time the next day, tried to changed the shipping address. Now the representative said they can't modify the address because their partner At&t wouldn't allow them to modify, I emphasized that At&t had already updated my new billing address, but all she could tell me is that I may need wait longer to see the update on apple.com but she could do nothing about this.I made a 3RD phone call the same day, several hours after that since I might be lucky to get another experienced guy to solve this, which turned out a disaster. He seemed like even more unskilled and asked me hold for more than five times, some of which lasted more than 20 minutes! This call cost me over 2 hours and the result was that he told me I need call AT&T myself to change the address! I was desperate, so I went to a local apple store to see if they had any ideas. Of course, the salesman in the apple store said they only took care of the in-store orders. So I made the 4th phone call in two days. After an hour waiting, the representative said she will file a request and if I hadn't got any response in 24 hours, I could call them back. I said OK and unsurprisingly, no response at all. So I called again for 5TH time, one said they were so busy and you need wait another 24 hours. Thank god I finally got an email said my request had been working on after about 30 hours from the last call. On Thursday, 09/18/2014, I could finally track the shipment and the destination was still the wrong address. I made a 6TH call regarding this and one told me the reroute request has been made and what I need to do was waiting. On Friday, which should be the guaranteed delivery date, I received two messages showed first delivery failed from UPS. I thought the reroute may need be after the 1st attempt. But I was shocked after asking UPS, who said no reroute request on this package so we would do the 2nd attempt tomorrow! I was angry at that time. If you can't make it, why not just tell me? The last representative even told me she can find my reroute request and nothing to worry about. That's the whole story, full of tedious waiting and careless lies. I made 7th call just now and she said she had inform the carrier and this time would definitely solve the problem. "

I've been at the Apple store in the Eaton Center in Toronto on 10/25/2015. My cell phone fell in the water and in this case it's impossible to repair. I was informed that I could buy a new cell at a discount, since I bought new one of the same model of mine. I found good deal. I had a terrible experience with Apple Customer service at an Apple branch here in Toronto (Fairview mall). My phone gets really hot from time to time when on the phone. I have taken the phone to the same Apple Store at least three times and each time they just run some tests on the phone and send me on my way saying that the phone has passed all tests and everything is fine. Yesterday, I was there and a rather condescending manager (Mathew **) was insinuating that whatever the Apple says is the law and what customer says is worthless. I even told him that whether or not he takes responsibility for what he says by writing what he says on a piece of paper and he refused to do so. He even refused for me to record our conversation out of fear that it might be used against him.

I already know that my 2011 MacBook Pro has a graphics card issue. But Genius Bar could not give me 2 minutes to confirm eligibility for the graphics card program (from a class-action lawsuit in CA). Really? 2 minutes for someone who is already tech-savvy and could be taken care of quickly? Reason to go PC #1. So Apple sent me home to come back on another day while my kids will NOT in school. Reason to go PC #2. Last time they Apple replaced my graphics card in 2012, it required 4 trips to an Apple Store when it should have required only 2. Reason to go PC #3. My HP laptop never needed service in its 10 years before it died. There was never an inherent product issue that needed repair. Reason to go PC #4.

My name is Mark **, I have been an apple customer for over 10 years and I have to say up till now it have been enjoyable. As a developer and tech enthusiast I have built, studied, and acquired lots of knowledge of windows and MAC throughout those years. I consider myself advanced in the ever-growing technologies that work with on a day to day basis as anyone who knows me would attest to. I understand that sometimes situations happen. However, the story I am about to tell was quite possibly the worst experience that I have ever had in my life, and definitely one of the most stressful on me and my wife. Friday 9/18/2015, I Mark ** was bringing my 27 inch IMAC into the apple store at Village Pointe in Omaha, NE. The issues was that I had broken the LVDS cable and needed to have it replaced. My 13" Macbook pro was having issues with charging, it was not charging while the green light was on. So I took it to the Apple Store, Soho. It was definitely a hardware problem so they sent it to their repairing facility and told me that it will take about 5 days, and they will diagnose the problem and fix the laptop for which they have a flat rate of $280.00. After 5 days they called me and told me that I can pick up my laptop and informed me that a new RAM and Logic Board was installed. I picked it up in the evening and paid $304.00.

Just went to Apple Store located in Brea, California on 09/04/2015, and received a terrible service from there. The staff of genius bar told me that my iPhone 6 plus is under the recall range of iSight but he cannot do anything for repairing. I requested a proof in writing or an email confirmation from him; however, rejected by the staff. My question is that: Apple is a big company but Apple is afraid of providing any written service statement or after-service survey to its clients. Totally confused???

I went into the I Store Sandton Drive in Johannesburg to port three mobile phones. I delivered the required documents on the 22 July 2015. I discovered that the forms which were sent to me via email to be filled in contained a previous customers details ( very unprofessional ), which caused a delay as the forms had to be resent. After this the quote which I received was incorrect. When I queried this with the employee of the Apple Store, the answer was that he had not read the quote, only emailed it. I found the process frustrating. And after having to communicate with the store manager the porting was done yesterday, 4th August (unacceptable length of time).

I took my MacBook Pro into the Boulder Apple Store to address an issue with it trying to boot up and then shutting down. After a lengthy wait, the so-called "genius" came over, asked what was going on, and without a further comment started doing her "magic" (not!). Halfway through she asked if I wanted to install a newer OS. I said that would be fine. Toward the end, she asked, "You don't need your data, do you?" Incredulously I responded, "Of course I do!" She then stated that she had already wiped the data clean!!! She then said, "Didn't the first guy ask you about data?" "No," I said. He only sat me down, asked what was going on, and then said he'd get a "tech." At that point I asked her, "Now what am I supposed to do???" "Well," she replied, "there are services that can 'try' to retrieve it." WTH!!! Is this how Apple casually disregards customers??

I take my iPad to the apple store because it won't charge. The guy puts his charger on it and a bunch of numbers in his tablet then starts telling me I need another one and it will be 300. I asked what's wrong with mine and he says the processor. I decided to try a different brick with my charger today and it charged! They do not have a clue about what they are doing! They are lucky I love I products! Not going there again!!!

Went to the store to replace battery on my iPhone 5. Told that because the screen is a 3rd party they can't do anything. Now this phone was replaced under warranty by Verizon without me knowing that the screen was replaced. Phone has recall for power button and battery but Apple won't honor the recall. I have 5 iPhones in my household, 2 iMac, and one Mac Pro. I spent a lot of money with Apple to buy the best but when it's time for Apple to take care of me as a customer they skimped to save a few dollars and left a very bad taste in my mouth. Very unhappy with Apple after sale service.

I have a MacBook Pro 2011 with graphic problems. It has been 3 times in repairs with no results. After many time trying to fix many things in my computer, Apple didn't find the problem, so they decided to replace my computer for the new same one. After one week waiting for the instructions (email forms and a box for the computer) to send my computer to Apple, the Senior in charge of case told me they change their mind. I had to call them back after one week. He never took the initiative to call me to let me know.

Carlsbad, CA - Apple support person, a lady I last spoke with said my best bet was to try to talk to the manager at the store, which I did, to no avail, and she tried to block me from getting any support from Apple. I just could not believe that they would not admit they were the ones who restored my iPad so I cannot even use it at all now and said that they did everything correctly causing this, and will not take any responsibility for their mistake. It should never have been restored knowing that I could not reactivate it and they were definitely told that before the technician did that, and after. Their customer support, training of technicians, policies and treatment of their customers is just plainly horrible, irresponsible, and should be reported.

Went into the apple store on the uws to get a shuffle charger for my daughter who goes to camp for 7 weeks. First of all how ridiculous are those stairs. Everyone is holding on for dear life. I explained how she is not able to take an ipod to camp since it has a camera. So a friend gave her a shuffle without the charger. The guy tells me "yes we've had lots of kids coming in to get chargers and buying ipod shuffles." That they sold out and just got some more in. Now this is not a new location. It is the uws where just about every kid goes to camp. You would think they would be prepared for the increase of these sales. Not to mention why on earth would they not carry chargers for their own product? Also what chutzpah to charge 20.00 for a charger. When it cost 49.00 to buy a new one. Basically it is a useless piece of junk. I threw it in the trash.

Apple ripping off people by promising free service and told me to change the keyboard and disk drive free of charge and gave me the receipt and after 10 days saying that they can't replace due to water damage as it was not when I hand it over to them as Mac was working fine only one of the key and disk drive was not ejecting the disk. As they told me they will change it free of cost and gave me the receipt. Now after 10 days they are saying that they can't change anything as it will cost me more than the new Mac Pro. I have handed over to them to change the keys and drive and the Mac was working perfect and now they are trying to rip me with their ** excuse and saying the water damage.

I called the first time simply to verify that I had purchased the extended Applecare protection plan. They then explained to me that I hadn't even though my credit card statement says I have. I was then on the phone for 3 hours 2 of it spent on hold. At this point I couldn't care less about the Applecare protection plan if they aren't going to cover my display despite the fact it says displays are covered when you purchase extended warranty and maintenance.

I have been in love with Apple since using my very first Apple Mac PC in 1984. Now, I can't stop myself from being utterly disgusted by them. I have been a very proud (and loyal) Apple customer for decades. They lost my loyalty, all of my trust in their brand, and any goodwill still attached to it. And what did it cost to lose a life-long Apple customer? $30.00. By giving their individual customers the shaft by continually rendering useless every "Apple-certified" and even Apple (logo and all) charging/lightning cord I have purchased for the past several years. I've thrown away dozens of these "certified" cords, absolutely unwilling to concede that Apple was intentionally and purposefully stealing hundreds upon hundreds of dollars from me and every other Apple customer. And another 3 cords are now junk thanks to iOS 8.

I have a 2011 27-inch iMac with a Radeon HD 6970M graphics card. This year it started failing so I booked it in at local Apple Store and ended up getting the graphics card replaced at a cost of £298.80. It turns out that Apple knew that this model had faulty graphics cards and have the following page: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT203787 which clearly states that Apple will replace faulty cards free of charge up to 4 years after purchase. After some arguing with the staff at Apple I am now having to get legal help to reclaim the money which they shouldn't have charged.

In March of 2015 I took my daughter to the Citycreek Apple Store in Salt Lake City because she had cracked her screen. After making the appointment we went and when the phone was looked at the guy say that the phone was fully functioning. It made calls, all apps worked, no case damage, no water damage. Clearly the only problem was a cracked screen. He said to fix the screen would be $129 and would take about an hour. We were told not to pay yet as when they got into the repair if anything was found wrong it may change the cost. How could it have anything else broken and still be a fully working phone? So I gave him my number so they could call when done. It seems they never call you. So we went back and they came out with her phone wrapped in a paper towel clearly in one piece with the screen still intact. He informed me that something inside was broken and so it couldn't be fixed and a replacement would cost $240.

Never buy non-Apple products from China Apple stores (maybe Apple products too). Being in China I thought I would buy some new 'sweatproof' wifi earphones from a reputable company. However after 3 weeks they completely stopped working. The Apple Store manager told me that after 15 days they are no longer responsible for non-Apple products and that I would have to contact the manufacturer directly. I offered to exchange them for a new iPad mini but they said their policy didn't allow it. I told them I would be forced to make a review of their store and their policies on-line and he responded with 'So what'?

I had a great experience at the Apple Store at Bayshore Mall in Glendale, WI. My iPhone 5 was having issues with the screen. I noticed interlacing lines that, although they didn't affect the functionality of the phone, it made me a little queasy. It was odd because it seemed the quality of the phone's screen was actually WORSE than the iPhone 4S I upgraded from. I made a genius bar appointment, came into the store, and was immediately helped. They replaced the screen (instead of replacing the actual phone), and it was absolutely perfect. No questions asked.

Up until this evening Apple had always been a brand that I trusted and had always had confidence in purchasing products from them. I have had my iPhone 5 for just over 2 years now and a few months ago I started to notice serious problems with the battery life. It would show that it still had 20 percent charge and then suddenly just run out. I got caught out quite a few times because of this. I decided that I needed to get the battery replaced. After some research I was really pleased to discover the following; ** .

My iphone 6 screen was cracked a week ago, but the phone still worked well. I made an appointment and brought it to the apple store in Montgomery mall yesterday. I said I would like to replace the screen, and the price is 109 plus tax. A staff went over the policy and the potential risk very briefly and asked me to sign a consent. He told me that they will test my phone and if my phone could not pass the test they cannot replace the screen. Instead, they'll provide a new phone with a price of 299 plus tax. Because my phone worked perfectly I never thought it would fail the test, so I signed the consent and the staff took my phone away for the test and repair. I went back to the store after one and a half hour and another staff told me my phone didn't pass the test and they put my phone in unuseful mode.

I have had two incidents completely separate in 3 years which were both the most horrible customer service experiences I have encountered. The first one was about 3 yrs ago when my son, who was attending school out of country at the time, took his MacBook Pro (which cost us an awful lot of money at the time) into the local Apple Store to be repaired. It was not even turning on for him. He had only had it for about 3 months. He took it in, after he had to MAKE AN APPOINTMENT just for them to look at it, which took a few days just to get. After a week or so, they finally got back to him and said he could pick it up with ANOTHER APPOINTMENT in 2 days. Unfortunately, that was a day after he had already had to leave back to school. Therefore, I went in to pick it up for him and was going to ship it at further expense to him.

I ordered an iPad Air 2 online at the Apple store last Feb. 16. They gave me a time frame from Feb. 27 - Mar. 3. I was billed on the 24th, the same day I checked on the UPS site that it was shipped. It went through the 'warehouse scan' to order being processed, ready for UPS. But then when I tracked it again at the UPS site the days after that, it just never moved. So on Feb. 28 I called the Apple customer service to ask about why it hasn't moved yet, they said the UPS site might not have updated the site yet, and asked me to call back again if i don't get my order on Mar. 3.

Apple designs some good products, which they get manufactured in Asia. As good as the design may be, the manufacturing quality is about the same as you can expect of anything you get at Walmart. But Apple is very careful to price-fix its products. Anyone offering them for less will soon find that Apple won't supply them with any more to sell. That has always been Apple's marketing strategy, and the reason IBM PC's with Windows became the international standard rather than MacIntosh. *IF* you buy anything from Apple, you have to pay the Apple retail price for it as well as any of the "extras". If you want some new software, you must pay Apple. If you want an accessory, you must pay Apple. It limits selection and makes everything higher priced. Many people assume that anything high priced must be high quality, and ignore the "Made in China" labels. And it makes Apple rich. Apple is also very careful to guard what it considers its "proprietary" intellectual property. Like a rectangular shape for a cell phone. They sued Samsung for a billion dollars over that one. But Apple isn't against violating other companies' patent rights, even when their own engineers and federal courts tell them so. With $50 billion in the bank, they just roll out their lawyers to avoid paying those smaller companies for what is rightfully theirs. Apple is a bully. Its time for the federal government to intervene, just as they did for Microsoft a few years back. There are people who just HAVE to have the latest trendy product, and don't care if they have to pay an inflated price. So what if it bends in the middle? Its a "fashion statement". Sooo...I'll stick to Windows and/or Android, thankyouverymuch, with many times more products, better compatibility, and lower prices.

Their "geniuses", or whatever they call their techs are not infallible. my wife went with a new (2 weeks old) iPhone 5 and complained it doesn't hold charge. They 'checked' and said battery was fine. She couldn't tolerate the 3-hours-to-dead-charge and so ditched the phone. That cost us a lot. I started using it 2 years later. Same problem, including weird feature that within 1 to 2 mins of 20%-battery-left-warning, the phone dies. Summary: The new, supposedly top-end, phone had a fatal flaw that Apple wouldn't recognize. Another time, I couldn't get sound out of left ear bud, tried another pair, same thing, went to iStore, they 'checked' it back-store for 20 mins, said a big and expensive module had to be replaced (more than value of phone). I declined and left. Later, by chance, I used a 3rd set of earbuds and it's all good. Both earbuds, were, by fluke, defective in same ear!!

Do not go there. Just a bunch of high school bullies, I got treated as if i was a dumb costumer. I was "served" by a very rude guy, when I asked to speak to a manager because I didn't want to speak to him, he turned around and whispered in the manager's ear "this fat jew wants to talk to you" I acted as if I never heard anything, because I hate confrontation, so i went on and told the manager my problem.. If I hadn't yelled she wouldn't have replaced my broken iphone 6+ that had apple care on it. In my experience at this store, it seems employees are only willing to provide one particular type of customer service - and if that isn't what you're after, too bad for you. Recently I experienced an issue with my laptop, isolated the problem, and figured out which part was defective (in this case, a connector cable for the optical drive). Simple enough. I then phoned to ask if this part was available, and was stonewalled for a solid 20 minutes, transferred to the national Apple call centre, put on hold, transferred back, and ultimately told I was not allowed to know if the store had the part I was looking for. Instead, I had to make Genius Bar reservation and bring my computer in for servicing - something I neither needed nor wanted. All it would have taken was a 20 second walk to the back of the store to ask the techs if they had the part. That way, I wouldn't have to spend half an hour of my day at the Apple store for a part they didn't have, for a problem they couldn't fix. But that wasn't the kind of "customer service" they were interested in providing. Put it this way. Let's say you want to eat shrimp at a restaurant, so you call to ask if they serve shrimp. If they outright refused to answer you, and insisted you had to make a reservation and sit at a table before they'd even entertain the question, would you be very likely to visit? Probably not.

My fiancee and I went into this store with her IPhone 5, due to the screen not working. We were informed that we could either pay to attempt to have the screen re-connected, or that apple would give her $200 credit towards a new phone if she traded it in. With a plan from one of the major 3 providers, that would allow her to get an IPhone 6 on a new plan for less than $100, before service fees. Once we had spent the next two hours shopping around the mall, we came back to discover that the Apple employee who had said she could get $200 trade-in on her phone was lying out his arse, and that no trade in value would be offered for the phone unless the screen was working. Thank you Apple, for wasting two hours of my fiancee's and my lives. Also thanks for lying/being incredibly misinformed about your own products' trade in value. This is why people prefer android.

Well laid out, bright. Expect long wait times to either talk to staff or even to buy something. There's no line up, so it's uncomfortable standing around waiting to ask if and how you can buy... walked out a few times, haven't actually bought anything in store since the service was terrible. Ended up buying the adapters and cables I needed from Hong Kong for $1 on eBay instead of paying the $29.99 the Apple store was asking.

The customer experience really depends on the individual Apple Store employee you are dealing with. I had jailbroken my girlfriend's iPod Touch, inevitably 'bricking' the device, and the Apple Store still completely replaced it after warranty. Yet, when my iPhone had screen damage, they wouldn't uphold to their costs for a simple screen replacement (as listed in their policy agreement), instead opting for me to buy a new phone outright. The Genius Bar staffer put absolutely no effort into diagnosing the cause of the screen flickering, nor the severity of the issue (ie. LCD damage, display cord disconnection), as it was easier to dismiss the phone as a project beyond a quick repair. The fluctuations in service seem solely dependant on the knowledge and willingness of the individual you are dealing with; some of the sales and Genius Bar staff members really have little to no idea of the inner workings of the very devices they sell, never mind the policies that go along with them. Their knowledge goes as far as "I like talking to people and using Apple products, so I think I'll work at the Apple store!".

Hope you will never encounter such employees here. I tried to buy a portable keyboard for my iPad today on the 3rd floor and asked if it'll be ok to take it in a bag full of books. I was worried that the keyboard may be harmed under the pressure. The first rep didn't know a thing and reluctantly went to ask for the advice of another rep after my request for it. The second rep was so rude by saying her only suggestion was not to jump on it, not in a joking way but in a I-bet-you-must-be-a-retard manner. Finally I managed to ask for the advice from a guy on the second floor, otherwise I would just leave the keyboard here and never come back. It's hilariously ironic that such a company with a reputation for good customer service will hire employees who think it's the fault of the customer when they can't properly answer a common question. So my advice is, don't go there and leave with a totally screwed-up mood when you can buy what you want online.

The whole concept of apple retail store sucks ....Very disorganized and inattentive. Even when you ask for the manager, they turn out worse than clueless employees. iPhone 6 had dead pixels, waited 2 hrs for screen replacement with an appointment. Left. Then noticed screen started clicking and edge raised. Called apple care who mailed me a replacement--noway am I going back to look at all the MICA dropouts. I have had better experience at Columbia location.

This store is very busy and waited almost 45 minutes to see the Genius even with appointment.. The staff there is overworked and cranky (understandably so). It is better to go to the store in Delaware. Apple please add more staff to this location. You have great products but the service is one of the worst I have experienced at this store for second time.

Too bad we can not give negative starts in Google. Some of the employees are really arrogant and rude. We went to by iPhone for my friend in the afternoon one day before my foreign travel. The representative told me that they stopped selling phones for that day. We told them that we had to buy the phone since we are traveling. She told that there is no way we can buy the phone and we had to just leave. However later, we came up with the idea that if we buy the phone online and select the pick up from Apple Store option then it may have been possible. Another representative verified that we can indeed buy a phone using this way and indeed there is a specific representative who deals with online orders inside the store. Basically, first representative arrogantly lied us and did not tell us this way. She really tried us not to buy the iPhone. I'll never buy anything from this Apple Store.

I give this store a 5 because of DJ, the associate that helped my younger sister and I on Tuesday. She had a horrible experience the day before because they refused to replace her phone, even after she was told they would. Luckily for us, DJ was the associate that helped us the 2nd time around. He was courteous, professional, quick and thorough. Ask for him by name, if possible!!!

Seems like this store has had some bad press. I was weary to go up there, but had no choice, my phone had fallen off my car roof, and been run over. I had made an appt over the phone with Apple central, but when I got to the store, it hadn't been processed correctly. So I thought, ok, here it goes... I couldn't have been more wrong, the gentleman said, don't worry about it, it happens all the time, we will get you taken care of right away, just wait here at this table...Krystal was going to help me within 15-20 minutes.... Krystal DID help me... within 10 minutes... not ony that she was working her way around the table like a pro.... Starting one person, as finishing another, meanwhile the team worked on helping her get things from the back... Krystal knocked out at least 5 people with broken phones, faulty phones, ect within 30 minutes. She was a superstar, and I wanted to give her, and the team credit. Others have mentioned to get good service: make an appointment and mind your manners. It's pretty simple.

Unless you are ready to be undermined by a "Genius" and waiting over 3 days for a technician to simply look at your computer, do not visit this store. They are under staffed and the repair service takes over 3-4 days every time. I went to the one in Laval and was in and out with in 35min with my MacBook working like new. The only good point about their repair service is that they often make mistakes leading to free repairs. Still not worth taking the gamble.

Once I told him my needs, he knew exactly which trim of a MacBook Pro I was looking for. The shopping day worked out to be smooth and quick. Best Regards Mike. Li

I went in and it was pretty crowded. I had an appointment for 3:40 but was a bit early. So I went to the "Genius Bar", as I have never done anything like this before and I didn't really know what the protocol was. It was when I was asked to move a little to the side for someone to sit at the bar after I was waiting for about 10 min. I went to someone to ask who do I talk to for my appointment and was given a little run around, but it was a bit understandable to the number of people that were in the store. After waiting a bit more and it was time for my appointment someone did come and ask if anyone had tended to me, and I replied no. So he make sure on his iPad that my booking was noted and someone would be there. I was fortunate enough to have the city where I used to live on my back which someone from the store recognized and was able to chat with them for a bit till the person came to help me. She was very nice and pleasant to talk to. Here is the part for me only give it 3 stars. When I told her the issue concerning my phone, which was that the phone wasn't receiving a charge, she instantly told me I needed to get it replaced. I was a bit startled at the quick assumption without any testing at all. I peered onto her iPad and noticed it was going to be 350 dollars for the replacement. I explained that it wasn't the battery as I had it swapped a while back because of the recalls. I also asked if the charge port can be replaced (as I googled it can be with some youtube videos). She said let me check something, took the phone, and then went behind the tall doors there. Came back and said yep the battery isn't holding the charge. Which I had to correct her again and say it's not the battery its the charge port. She labelled and set aside a phone replacement for me for 7 days, as I didn't want to make a decision right away. I walked out a bit more frustrated as it felt at the end like a product push than being informative for customer service.

Bunch of iresponsible people!!! I had an appointment at 4:30, but due to stupid traffic, I was 30 min left; however, I called them before coming to the store and cleared that I would be late due to traffic, and the stupid person on the phone got my info and everything, and clearly said it's fine, we ganna take care of you. Long story short, when I came to store they were very nicely booked me for next day!!!!! And told me, this is the way we mentioned on the phone that they take care of me NOT helping me. I love Apple products, but I hate people working in Metropolis location. Most of them are not even finished their high school, they should find job in another place not Apple!!!!!

I went in to take an iPhone 6 and iPhone 5c in to be fixed for cracked screens, they told me I had to make an appointment. So I made an appointment for both at the same time, at 5:20 pm today (they close at 7 pm) only one technician came to see me for one of the appointment, he told me I probably won't be able to get my phone fixed because of closing time. (Which they should of told me before I made both appointments of the time) but he was able to fix it before closing time. I asked the guy where the other technician was for the other appointment, he said he would get someone to help me out... I waited 20 mins, no one came. I finallly asked someone and told them I made 2 appointments for 5:20, and only one technician showed up. On their iPad it said one of the appointments was cancelled. I never cancelled. He told me to sit tight and someone would be with me. No one helped me for 30 mins, I finally left the store feeling ignored and frustrated. Also, I was being told it would cost $109 to fix the phone before I went to the store, they charged me $139. When I said I was quoted $109, he told me he'd be right back and when he came back the price was $109 with no problem. it was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. And if they can get away with charging the customer more then quoted, they will. Once my contract is up with iPhone, I will be switching to a different phone.

This store has very minimal offerings for workshops. I've tried to find a time for 2 workshops that I'm interested in. However, over a week, there's only one choice for each workshop and the only time is an evening or late afternoon. I'm not going to travel in rush hour traffic to attend an Apple workshop. Other Apple stores offer workshops in mid-morning. I don't know why the Metrotown store can't do the same.

The worse customer service experience of my life. The Apple Store Uptown Albuquerque NM Sunday Jan. 10, 2016. Steve Jobs would be embarrassed. Condescending clerks, incredibly inadequate IT, and managers more concerned with flirting with the pretty girls working for them than answering questions and concerns about my husband's Apple phone device. We are a family of Apple devices exclusively, but I assure you because of our experiences on two visits to the Apple Store @ Uptown, Albuquerque, NM today we will be looking at other devices. I went in today to fix my cracked screen and had a terrible experience trying to get it done. First off getting an appointment there is harder then getting in to see a doctor. Customer service has been so poor within the last year. I was moved multiple times while waiting for the genuis to come. The man who talked to me was named Mark and had an accent from Australia or England. He was the rudest person I've ever talked to there. He treated me as if I didn't know how to do anything. I had to wait nearly four hours to pick my phone up from being serviced. I am really dreading the next time I have to go back there for something else.

When I choose any apple product, I am choosing much more than just a computer or phone. I am choosing the support staff and workers that come with it. I have been to this location a few times, and each time, whether busy or slow I always feel welcomed. It is unbelievable the level of customer support. It's a small store for the amount of customers they have, so just a fair warning if you are a bit claustrophobic. Otherwise, this store has what it takes.

The time taken for me talking to a human is OVER 100 years! System so unfriendly & unhelpful! One would doubt if they're designed to discourage calls! I called the store enquiring if I could retrieve date and location for a photo taken with my iPhone but the staff couldn't answer. Then my phone got transferred and then I was put on hold indefinitely! They said ALL REPS are busy! So I'm not busy and can wait forever! Worst service ever. Phone system is automated and starts by advertising Apple products. I didn't call to listen to ads. I called to speak to a service agent. Finally got through to one and asked if I was able to order a battery and how much something like this would cost. He proceeded to try to convince me that I couldn't order a battery by phone and would have to come in. I said it was never my intention to order anything. I called to inquire about the cost and possibility of this. He repeated himself. I said I want to know the price. He went to find out and put me on hold, then told me it would be 150-250$ but again, I'd have to come in to make the order. I asked if I can just buy the battery and not have it replaced in store and he said no. Basically, they make their money on the "service" on not what they're actually selling. ------------------------------------------------------- On a different occasion I came in to buy a replacement battery for my iPhone (80$). The sales rep took my phone away for about 15minutes for "inspection" and when he came back he said it was impossible because my phone's casing was dented in the upper right hand corner. He stated that if the service rep tried to take out the screen to replace the battery, it would shatter and they refused to be responsible for such a thing. This was the afternoon before my flight outside of the country the next morning so I really needed a battery. This guy proceeded to sell me an external battery for 140$ (Mophie brand). When I came back a few weeks later, I went to a cell phone repair shop and had the battery replaced for 50$ including the service charge and taxes. NO ISSUES and no comments on the dented corner. Been working fine since. Later came to find out (early November, so a week ago) that the same external battery this guy sold me, sells for 60$ at a different store. What a ripoff. Apple store Richmond is one huge lie.

I have never had such a fantastic experience with a retailer. I had very recently upgraded to an iPhone 6, and was waiting for some online purchased cases. I accidentally dropped and seriously damaged my new phone and knowing I couldn't afford to replace it I just went to the store and hoped for a least some help to repair the broken camera lens or at best a discount for the repair. To my complete surprise, the staff were so gracious to replace my phone! I never imagined I would get an entirely new phone, I'm still speechless. OMG! Just wasted 40 minutes of my life trying to make an appointment to get a new battery put into my phone. I called the Guildford store and I was re-routed away from the store... then I was re-routed back to the guildford store where I got to repeat all my information again to a computer that's pretends to type when I give information.. finally i just wanted to know roughly how long it would take to change a battery which i saw on the web is 4 screws and a suction cup... based on their current workload... do I wait? do i drop it off? the manager was unwilling to give me an estimated time because that was the technicians job? Isnt it the managers job to know how busy his employees are and how long it takes to do a common task? Apparently not... so Ive wasted 40 minutes of my life being annoyed by a phone system that was unable to meet my needs as a customer and a manager that also was unable to meet my needs as a customer. All I wanted to know is... Are you busy? Should I drop off my phone or wait? And now im going to walk in there and theyre going to say do you have an appointment ... and i dont...terrible terrible service ... and get rid of the fake typing sound it is something I was expect from microsoft... Well youve earned your 1 out of 5 rating.. I would prefer 0 but that isnt an option... and still need to make an appointment and need a new battery for my phone

Going from an Andorid to iPhone is torture. No indicator led, no expandable memory and no swappable battery. A charger at the drugstore for the iphone is almost twice what an Android charger cost. A cover(case) and a car charger at the Apple Store set me back almost $100 after taxes. Some apps on my android are not available on the iPhone App store. If you want to store music on the phone, you better have iTunes, because they don't want you doing it any other way. I guess dragging and dropping songs into a folder is too easy. Don't expect to put too much music on the phone either. Don't event think about trying to store a full length movie on the phone. See above where there is no expandable memory. It seems like they want you to have everything in 'the cloud' so you can spend as much on data every month as possible when you could be playing a lot of things directly from the phone. P.S. If a genius owned a bar, he would serve alcohol.

After driving more then 4 hours from Panama City to arrive at this "Real" Apple Store, I must say I was highly impressed!...the screen on my three-month-old iPhone 6s Plus was pretty much shattered couple days earlier, as use of the phone is imperative for my job duties, the thought of sending it off to Apple and waiting 2 to 5 days to receive it back, was near impossible. Even after showing up on a Saturday as a walk-in, ( appointments were booked solid for the whole week) wait was approximately 35 minutes at a very crowded store, the professionalism exhibited by all employees I came across was refreshing, it's very nice to see employees who really love the place that they work !...The incredible knowledgeable staff took my beloved iPhone into the back to repair, I was told to return in one hour to pick up, I return about 15 minutes early, and to my surprise it was fixed and better than it was before. I will never hesitate to take the drive again and again if any unfortunate future occurrence arises. Thanks again Apple for standing behind your incredible products, and thanks to all the employees that made my day so enjoyable!

Amazing service. Great customer care and I left very satisfied. Never going to the downtown location again.

I'm upset about the "help" my elderly parents got at the Summit Mall Apple Store. My mom clicked OK for a recent iOS upgrade on her new ipad that she received in February for her 75th birthday. After the upgrade was complete it asked for the Apple ID, which she tried to enter twice. She was locked out after this. She took this ipad to the Apple store and asked for help. Hailey completely wiped out all the pictures, apps and settings. She didn't even ask if my mom's pictures were backed up anywhere. I don't have an ipad, but really?! This is how you fix this issue? Then my mom asked for one app to be installed, a Jawbone UP2 activity tracker. Hailey said she put it on, but when they got home it wasn't there. In between "helping" my mom, she assisted a couple with an iphone problem. My mom felt ignored and neglected, and when she realized that all the pictures taken at her 75th birthday party were deleted she was devastated! Age discrimination? I don't know, but she'll never go back now.

After paying for the 24-7 Support for Geek Squad only to realize it was basically pointless, I was in a pretty bad mood going into Apple. I didn't have an appointment and the guy up front checked me in right away, and said the wait probably wouldn't be as long as the iPad was expecting (it was saying up to an hour). Someone checked on me right after I started waiting to make sure I'd been checked in/helped. After only about 15 minutes a spot opened up and a guy named Mike started helping me. He was extremely helpful and I could tell he knew what he was talking about. He asked some questions and immediately got to work and was able to realize right away that the motherboard wasn't the problem and that it was more simple that Geek Squad made it seem. He replaced the part that was bad and reset the system, and since it was my first time in he waived the fee! I would have given them an equally good review even if he hadn't waived the fee though - everyone I came into contact with was friendly, professional and knowledgable. Coming from someone who's worked in customer service I was extremely impressed! I will definitely be going there for all my mac needs from now on!

My assigned was amazing!!! I had never stepped foot in the Apple Store before and was impressed with all they had to offer as well as the friendliness of the staff. Was having issues with my phone and I think his name was Jeron told me my phone case could be part of the problem. I had been unable to make phone calls. My phone was at 1 bar and immediately after he took off my phone case all 4 bars came to life. It was a phone case I had gotten from a dollar store, shiny gold, not metal but may have had metal particles in it. He also was able to see that over half of the calls I could make from my phone were dropped. I don't know why this happened but I assumed the phone would be fixed and I'd be sent on my way. Instead I was given a brand new phone at no charge, thanks insurance!

Great location with very efficient staff! Sometimes I wish they would have more available to focus on sales as opposed to simply questions and repairs, as when I arrived to purchase my Mac Pro, the consultant appeared to have no training on their most expensive desktop, leaving no real point of going to the location as opposed to shopping online

Awful. 20 minute estimate turned into 50 minutes before I gave up on getting my Dad's iphone problem resolved. Only then did I find out there were still 10+ people ahead of me. Then they said I should make a 'real' appointment... I had a real appointment! The second star is for an attempt by an employee to help set up a 'real' appointment. When people get tired of the long wait for the few genius' and figure out Apple has not increased their service, just their sales..they'll make Apple better! Imagine that!

One year ago I bought two unlocked IPhones from Apple Store and spent around $1600. After one week because the phone was too slippery (wonder why) it slip from my hand and the screen was completely shredded. When to a Apple Store and they told me that I need to make appointment before I come in, wait a few days and pay $400!!!! I went to a Litle kiosk and paid $120. The apps in this phone are always crashing, I can't update the apps (I have to do it one by one) and now the fingerprint is not working. Want to this Apple Store after making the appointment, waited one hour before I see a technician he tells me that they are going to replace the phone for a new one and I have to pay $300. I said that I'm ok with that I just need a phone that works. After another hour other technician comes back saying that the phone was fixed buy an unauthorized Apple technician and they can't replace the phone. I can guarantee you guys that this is my last apple device in my house or company!!!!

This past visit to the Apple store was my best trip yet. ONLY because of the guy who helped out me and my mom his name was Michael Lamonico. This guy was super smart and truly made me think he was a "Genius" not only was he so quick to isolate our problem but the way he broke it down for me and my mom was incredible and easy to relate to. My mom's english isn't too good and when she apologized for it and said she was stupid he stopped everything he was doing to tell her to never say that because she is smart even for being able to speak two languages. He also told us that apple products are made for everyone not just the tech savvy. It meant a lot how he talked to my mom because she doesn't get treated like that everywhere. what a guy. He even told her stories about his family from italy to help her relax and relate to her. I asked how he was so smart and he was very humble about it. He told he he studies Engineering and all I could think was how over qualified he is! (No offense APPLE IS AWESOME) All the geniuses should be like Michael because I had a bad experience in NYC but because of Michael I will always go to Short hills. I never got asked to do a survey on him so I hope someone sees this so he can get a raise.

So much more convenient than driving over to the downtown store! Here's the kicker - I had purchased an iPhone 6 car charger from the London Apple Store only to realize - upon my return - that it was the wrong product! I, 1st, called to inquire whether I could exchange it for the charger I wanted, the guy on the phone was unsure but he was prudent enough to ask me to come in. 2nd, the guy at the front/entrance was somewhat brash and told me it couldn't be done! I politely asked for the manager and he politely obliged. Lo and behold, the manager came and she was courteous, kind and helpful. She got my product exchanged and I paid the relevant difference (In CAD) and off I went, a happy camper. My other experiences have been pleasant as well.

Just had a terrible experience at this particular store. Tried exchanging a brand new sealed product and they would not take it. Even spoke with two different managers and both said no without reason. They were rude and condescending. I then drove to the Apple Store sainte-catherine and thy exchanged my product without any problems in 5 minutes. I do not understand how one can receive drastically different treatment at the "same" store. I can't help but wonder if I was a victim of discrimination. I would avoid going to this store and go to sainte-catherine where the service is way better even tough it way busier. Or just buy online directly. I am very disappointed as i usually get great service at apple but this experience was rotten.

The service at this store is good, but I didn't like the long wait. In addition, I've had an abysmal experience with Apple products. For instance, my old iPhone lasted about a year and then there were real issues. The battery life was short and the new version of iOS could not keep up with my usage. My Macbook's CPU fans suddenly stopped working so it kept overheating. I had to stop using it and get a decent PC instead. Apple's planned obsolescence has gone too far.

In a word unimpressed. Currently still in store while writing. This review. Tried adding a line to my existing rogers plan which was OKd by Apple via phone and by my rogers provider. The "assistant"(did the opposite of their title) at Apple decided to make my life difficult tonight and not allow the addition. Now he's asking me to purchase a new line entirely just to get the new phone at all. Save yourself time, money and sanity and go to Laval Apple instead. They have no idea what they're doing here. It's a complete misrepresentation of how good Apples service typically is. This experience does not reflect Apple, it reflects the people it has hired at this location to represent them. Poor choice of staff. Specifically Aaron, the others are not at fault here.

Sadly those days are gone of great Apple Store support who really know the root of the problem and do their best to satisfy customers needs and there are hardly a customer who you see unhappy from Apple Store. This store is one of the biggest example of how a Money greedy Tim Cook, Apple doing as company now a days. Some of the rude and arrogant support staff including manager who only know one solution of all problem which is reset or factory reset or factory reset and set up phone as brand new for any problem. They don't care even if phone is brand new one month old. Those days are not far when Apple has to start factory resetting the store like this.

Ok so generally i find the staff are helpful, generally they are nice enough to deal with. The issue i have is. This store is always a zoo. Last time i went in i had just broke my iphone 5s and its under warranty so i took it in i was told 30 minutes which ended up being an hour to see the tech. Than the tech looks at it, assisting multiple clients at once. Finally gets back than tells me they are out of iphone 5s. So basically i waited close to 2 hours. To find out i could not get a device replacement. I have to wait 4-5 business days. Its a simple thing they could check when they book. They have this info why not utilize it? To me the issue sounds like its management. If its always too busy hire more staff. Especially on Fridays ane weekends. I don't understand why people have to come in the store for software tutorials. When ever i have had issues i call there 1-800 number enable Remote Desktop and we solve the problem

I work for a video production company and recently one of our 2015 5K iMacs started failing, most programs would crash almost immediately. We tried everything we could to fix it even going as far as wiping the entire computer and reinstalling the OS (factory reset). When that didn't work we figured it must be a hardware problem and since opening the computer would void the warranty we took it into the apple store (which is two hours away). We had an appointment but still waited about 1/2 hour before we got to talk to anyone. The guy we talked to was very knowledgeable and super cool, and after he did his diagnostics test and booted the computer using their server he confirmed that is was a hardware issue. Pretty good service so far. We left it there so they could run hardware tests and to be repaired. A few days later we were told it was ready (this is where it goes south). We get our computer back and ask what the hardware problem was and he said there wasn't one...just that there were inconsistencies with the OS file structure...trying to explain it to me like I was an idiot. He said all they did was reinstall the OS. Doubting the problem was fixed I asked if the computer works and if they were able to run programs like Safari and Chrome, to which he said "yes". I asked if we could test the computer before we leave and he begrudgingly says "yes". Turn on the computer, open Safari, immediate crash. Whoever "fixed" the computer ignored everything we had said which the first apple guy confirmed, and instead of doing what he said, they ignored it completely. And when asked if the computer worked we were lied to. So now we are trying to explain the problem to some other guy who is very condescending and doesn't believe us when we try to explain things to him. We had to leave the computer there for a week for it to finally be repaired...at least they mailed it to us this time so we didn't have to drive down again. Long story short, if you are a professional or know anything about computers DON'T go to the apple store, mail it to apple and insist that they replace it. Also the store smells like a two day old fart.

Very helpful staff! Thanks, Jason, for the great service and helping me with replacement of my iPhone screen. New one is installed and looks much better. Hope it performs better this time around. Only thing about this store, as others mention, is it's always packed. It's quite noisy also. I clocked ambient levels over 80db -- which begins to damage hearing after 2 hours of continuous listening. Would be very helpful to improve the acoustics of the store. A little sound-deadening application would make worlds of difference to customer experience and the ability to actually hear what that genius/salesperson is saying.

The worst Experience Ever: Believe me when I say this store is bad I really men bad bad bad and it is not easy for me to say this words. I owned every apple product that exist from iPhone 3 all the way to the latest Iphone 7 plus, I also own a MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, Apple Pencil, Apple watch and 2 apple tv's so you really know how a big fan I am and how it is hard form me to write this review after trying over and over and over again to convince my friends to make the switch. I have to admit that apple impressed me but I am so disappointed now to learn that this company is taking other direction and now cares way more about the money and profit over their clients. It is outrageous when you have to wait for hours to service your brand new product just to find out that the agent is only offering you to leave your phone for couple days to be opened and may be see if they can or can not fix it. I just bought my new iPhone 7plus only 20 days ago and the agent suggested if I can not be without a phone for couple days, I could buy another new phone and use it till this one is fixed and return it. Really spend another 1300$. My phone was confirmed by apple agents that it has a manufacturer default, but yet I have to be without a phone and have to go and come back who knows how many times while they screw up the new phone and replace parts on it. This seem to me unfair, I bought a brand new phone 20 days ago and you confirmed it is defective, so what do I have to be going through all this and be without a phone for days so that you can try to fix it., why not give me a working phone??? I am so mad so mad so mad and never never appelle again. Thank you apple for making my experience horrible and thank you mr Manager for your ego and terrible service.

Update: Confidence restored. Returned to store this morning and spoke with store manager Adam. Explained the situation to him. He had seen the review already and was aware of the details. He was sorry for my experience and calmly explained to me what he believed happened. Adam also explained what the support page was referring to regarding out of warranty replacement and why there was a cost involved for my replacement. Once he finished explaining, I was completely satisfied with his response. Adam then promptly provided me with a correct new adapter at no extra charge on top of what I paid yesterday and said he would review the interaction with the Genius Bar representative. I thanked him and left the store very impressed with Adam's handling of the whole situation. Thank you Adam! _______________________ Not impressed with Genius Bar. Brought in magsafe adapter that wasn't working (2 of them actually). Upon "inspection" there was no visible damage to either adapter or their cords. The person made the assumption that problem was internal to the adapter because computer worked with one of the Genius Bar's adapters. Nonetheless I still had to pay for a new adapter at the Genius Bar (granted at 2/3 of the cost but with only 90 day warranty). I had to pay even though Apple's support page for adapters says the following - "Whether or not your product is in or out of warranty, you can take your adapter to an Apple Authorized Service Provider or Apple Retail Store for evaluation and replacement if necessary. Pending the results of the evaluation, you may or may not be eligible for a replacement adapter free of charge. Signs of accidental damage would negate any coverage. Be sure to bring in the computer used with the adapter; it is required to process potential adapter replacements." I'm confused now at what out of warranty evaluation would warrant a free replacement. He also questioned whether or not I purchased the adapter from Apple.. To make matters worse, before leaving I asked the person more than once if they were sure that they gave me the right adapter (I needed 85W) as the one he gave me looked smaller than the one he exchanged. He said for sure it was the right one. Well, I just opened it up and it's the wrong one(!) Now tomorrow morning I have to make another drive downtown, pay for parking again, wait in store again.. Very disappointed.

Horrible Customer Service! A couple weeks ago I had gotten my iPhone 6 Plus exchanged after countless / pointless appointments to come to the conclusion that I did in fact have a defective device considering it's a known manufacturing issue that cannot be resolved by a repair nor a discount on a new device: the "Grey Bar " input problem . IT'S A REPLACEMENT. After denying their offer of charging me for a screen replacement (around $190.00 + taxes) , which i might add, has NOTHING to do with the defect. I demanded for it to be replaced for free otherwise i'd be taking it further with the Quebec Consumer Protection Act. After 5 minutes they gave it to me for free... Here's where the s**** hits the fan: A friend of mine had the same issue except even better, His device was mint condition.. frame didn't even have scratches on it like mine did yet they still CHARGED him (275 including taxes) after they didn't even want to replace it to begin with. Even when I had to go in person to help vouch for the situation considering he didn't know what to do and needed HELP? I really don't get why a client would need outside help to deal with APPLE, maybe because they didn't want to service him correctly? 1) When quoting my case as a perfect example they dismissed it saying they couldn't locate me in the system and that to them every iPhone is a separate / different case... 2) Didier, I believe that was his name, was the most impolite if not worst customer service representative I have ever encountered. Just because I was personally in the store without an appointment yet my friend was (Might i add the only reason i went was because he called me to come since i just went through this predicament/ordeal) there during his appointment doesn't mean you can treat me as if i do not exist in regards to not answering my comparable if not accurate questions you couldn't answer or simply repeating to my friend " we arent going to go in circles with this , if you are unhappy take it up with the consumer protection services"... Excuse me!?!? Might as well tell us to f*** ourselves and not buy this product anymore considering you are more than unwilling to help! This is beyond unacceptable and quite frankly appalling!!

Small and always crowded. You barely have space to breathe. There is too many technicians chatting together or just walking around being unhelpful, while customers are waiting. If you want to see one, you better have a lot of time. Can't talk for all of them, but the technician I had today was also very unpleasant and unhelpful. Also, everytime I went there, the technicians who stand in front of the stairs and take reservations were very unwelcoming. No greetings, no smiling, and sometimes they would give very judgemental looks. As the first image of the company a customer sees, please learn how to act like you wanna be there.

👍 : The store is modern and clean. The staff are nice and fix your problems pretty fast. 👎 : Keep in mind that it gets VERY busy most days. If you want your computer fixed you have to make an appointment, which can sometimes make you wait in a huge wait list.

They have more sales people here than products on display! Very friendly and bilingual. They conduct a lot of workshops. However, I wasn't very happy on my last visit as there was no magic keyboard to try and test.

More than the store its the feeling and the greatness of buying an Apple product in this store is the best experience felt here. Only thing I would recommend here is that the Apple genius staff could be more passionate and down to earth rather than being over confident in explaining me a product.

some specialists are rather a businessman than a technician. They are not there to help you with your apple product problem, they plan to sell you as much as possible. I spilt tea on my macbook. The Apple technician took it to their lab, and after 3 minutes came back gave me a quote of 2000$ !!!!! he said almost all main pieces should be changed. I repaired my laptop at the same day somewhere else, for 150$ !!!!
