Avoid - avoid - avoid.Even 1 star is too much for this outfit.  We had the worst experience here.  Unprofessional, inefficient and rude staff and an uncaring doctor.  They are more interested in taking your money than giving you proper care.  Will never go back.

I went here for an employer mandated hearing exam and the wait was horrible. 90+ minutes for a test that takes less than 10 minutes and requires no doctor.I had already filled out the paperwork and they promptly ignored every request that my employer's paperwork requested. The exam itself was about 6 minutes long. After the exam they put me into a patient room for 25+ minutes before simply telling me I could leave. I have no idea why they did this.Basically it seems like Concentra has no value for the time of those they provide services.I would not return here for any purpose and will be recommending against using this facility to my employer.

Took my step-daughter here because she was really sick and needed attention at 8pm at night.  Even though it was very close to closing time, the staff were friendly enough, navigated the Tricare confusion, and the Physician's Assistant on staff took good care of her.  He was even amusing.  In the end, it was nothing more than throwing antibiotics at the problem and waiting for it to go away.  But isn't that about 3/4 of what we pay doctors for, anyway? This place takes Tricare and isn't ridiculously rude.  That's impressive all on its own.  If you have Tricare and can't find a doctor, I definitely suggest Concentra, or at least this location.

First time I came, the NP only spoke to me for about 5 minutes after waiting 3 hours. Second time I came for a follow up exam, I made an appointment at 3 and didn't get seen till 4:30

Plain awful, doctor was rude, only one of the front desk attendants was friendly, I came in because I fell at work and I felt like they wanted me to leave, when I asked the doctor when I could return to work he responded with an attitude " you can go now" , I had just told him in what great pain I was in , wth he said he would give me a prescription for the pain and he never did . he was to upset he had to do extra work because of the company I work for. Too bad yelp won't let u put negative stars

One star is being generous.  Came in with a sinus infection, there were 3 others in the waiting room.  I filled out the lengthy questionairre and paid $75 insurance deductible up front.  I ended up waiting 2 1/2 hours while the waiting room turned over twice.  I walked out without seeing anyone.  Went up the street to Texas Med  Clinic, in and out in 20 minutes.  Don't waste your time with Concentra

Not only did they try to charge me 160 bucks JUST to be seen, they tried to tell me urine culture for a UTI would be an additional 60, medspring only charged me like 15 bucks. I walked out of their frigid cold waiting room. Maybe Elsa the ice queen had the flu and was waiting there for hours like the rest of us?

Literally the WORST experience of my life. Very unprofessional, untimely & unknowledgeable staff. I went for a prescreening drug test for a job. The woman doing my follicle test was SEVERELY unprofessional. I had a section of my natural hair left out for her to sample since my hair was in a braided style. She refused to sample available hair, went into the lobby area & spoke loudly w the other employees saying "HER HAIR IS FAKE." I completely took down my hairstyle & came back the next day for the test. At the end, she asked me to rate my experience. I gave it a poor rating & looked at me very angrily & asked why. I felt like the evaluation should've been private, but she was trying to intimidate me. Not to mention that I called her boss & he was always "on lunch break" & never called back.

I understand it's the weekend and you don't have many options, but pick a different option than Concentra. I wish I had gone to Yelp before I made this mistake today. Here is my story which, like most others on this page, suggests there must be a better option. I have a bunion on my left big toe joint and it occasionally gets inflamed. The doctor typically prescribes a round of steroids in the form of a predisone blister pack which starts with a 24 - 30 mg dose (six tabs) and ramps down the dosage during each of the six day round. That stuff works, and I am usually walking normally within a few hours.I came in today because my foot was hurting and my doctor is closed on Saturday. I would normally tough it out to avoid urgent care, but my daughter's birthday is tomorrow and I wanted to make sure I was able to get around normally for our family's celebration. I told the doctor exactly what was going on and what is normally prescribed, multiple times. Dr Palm decided he wanted to give me a steroid shot in addition to the oral steroid prescription. I told him the oral steroids work fine, but he said "I went to an extra week of training to learn how to do injections so we are going to do an injection." I couldn't tell if he was joking.  That should have been a red flag, but I let him do it for some reason. It hurt badly at first but it started to get numb fairly quickly because he put lidocaine in the shot.  He jammed the needle directly into the bone spur in multiple places.  It was painful, but it did feel better when he was done, because it was numb.  They said my insurance indicated no need for payment and I was good to go. I should have asked for an itemized bill anyway.  I have no idea how much I will get a bill for yet, but I'm certain it is more than if they just wrote me a prescription for prednisone. I'm feeling pretty naive right now.A couple minutes after getting in my car and starting to drive home, the numbness started to wear off and my joint started to hurt more and more every minute. By the time I got home, it hurt far more than it did when I went to the clinic.  For at least an hour or two I could think of nothing else.  It has been six hours since I left the clinic and the pain is not as bad as it was, but it is still worse than before I went in even after taking a dose of oral steroid.  I am pretty sure he bruised my joint by jamming the needle into the bone spur.   I certainly looks worse than before. He also didn't want to prescribe me the same prednisone blister pack everyone else has for this same condition. Instead he prescribed me ten 20 mg methylprednisolone tablets.  By comparison, the blister pack contains 4 or 5 mg tablets and you disperse you dosages throughout your day.  There is no good way to taper off of the tablets he prescribed or disperse them through your day because they are a high dosage.  Not sure why, but he would not listen to me.I feel like I was taken.  I feel that he was going to order a procedure that he could bill for unless I protested profusely.  Even if that is the case, it would be more effective to do so if the procedure was actually helpful. Fortunately for you, the reader, his tactics backfired this time so I am pissed enough to warn you.  I will never be so naive again.  Take control of you heathcare!  Do not let the doctor push you around! If you know an inexpensive, reasonable treatment that has worked for you in the past, do not try new things with an urgent care provider.  If they suggest billable procedures that you feel my be unnecessary you have the right to say no.  Save experimentation for your REAL doctor who knows your history and will probably only suggest something new if previous methods are no longer effective.  If you must go to urgent care, please do not go here.  If you are stuck in the waiting room right now, get up and leave or make sure Dr Palm is not the guy you see. Good luck.Josh H., North Austin

My husband saw a Concentra doctor in the evening, and by morning he was having an extreme reaction to the prescription he had been given (dizziness and vomiting). I called the clinic to find out what to do for a reaction to meds he had been given the night before, and was told "Everyone in the back is busy, but someone will call you in about an hour." Two hours later, I called back, and was told by the same person that "There are only two MA's here, and they're extremely busy. They'll call you back when the get the chance." She never asked what the reaction was, or what medication he had been given. I have enough sense to have gone to the ER if it had been a deadly reaction, but THEY DIDN'T EVEN ASK.Seriously, people -- Someone could DIE because of the incompetence of the people at this so-called "medical center." Go ANYWHERE but here.

WORST PLACE ON EARTH.first concentra location i went to violated my HIPPA. this location is nice on your first visit after that they are rude and not helpful. Not only did they DENY me once ( which btw if yoou look on their website they mention that they will NEVER deny you) the doctor will say lets consider an MRI and an XRAY and then after WEEEEEEEEEKKKKKSSSS of saying um lets give it another 10 days , and another 10 days, another two weeks. when i straight ouot asked for it not only did he (doctor) make me sound crazy he denied having said that. background: first concentra doctor said an mri might be a good idea - i left that location bc a nurse decided to look into my medical record for my phone number to text me. this second doctor also mentioned mri, my physical therapist mentions an mri everyday. for some god foorsaken reason not only does he NOT read my physical therapist notes UNTIL i raise all hell (and he requests them as if my therapist hadnt sent them to him already 5 times) he is denying me the test he initially said i should have. a test which my therapist on her own strongly thinks i should have. So here i am suffering and seeing if i can find another doctor. Just don't go here. find someplace else.

Let me start by saying, I'm a health care professional, and I would not go here.I came here for a company mandated tuberculosis screening test.  Waited over an hour for a procedure that takes about 13 seconds to administer.  Came back two days later to have the test read and waited over an hour again and then asked how long it would be.  They said "Oh, I think we forgot about you."I lost two hours of my life here.  I would have paid for the test elsewhere to have gotten them back.

I did not have a bad experience. I called my insurance company to get pre-approval bc I hurt my foot in a fall and I wanted x-rays. I didn't think that I'd get into see my regular doctor who I like a lot. So, I asked about urgent care. They told me that Concentra happens to be owned by Humana, which is who my insurance is with, and I'd have to pay a $60 copay but x-rays are covered. I went in first thing, as a walk in. I was seen in about 30 by a nurse and in about 90 minutes by a PA. The x-rays were taken and reviewed right away. Nothing was broken. I was out in under 3 hours. If I had gone to an ER, I would still be waiting to see some one at the 3 hour mark and I would've probably paid $1,000. Everyone was nice and professional. The rooms were clean and organized.

Horrible service, depending on one of the many people you see - we saw three different sets of doctors and nurses who all gave different advice every visit.Depending on who you talk to, you will receive conflicting advice for something as simple as outpatient stitches. The first doctor said to put bacitracin on the wound and to replace the bandage daily, giving us several packets of the gel.Upon the final visit, that doctor said the wound was not as healed as it should be because "we put on too much ointment." The nurse, who was present during the first visit, then informs is that we were only supposed to put it on on the first day and ever again for the following week. Unbelievable.I cannot wait to get a proper PCP and never deal with this urgent care b.s. ever again.

I haven't been here since March of 2014, but because of the company's persistence in trying to get more money from me after completely lying, I felt compelled to write a shiny one star review.First of all, I want to get the positives out, because there are a select few. The staff here is very friendly and willing to help with pretty much anything when you're face-to-face. The doctors are fairly helpful and thorough (I came here so much in the beginning of the year that I managed to meet every single one of them because I was so sick so often.)However, there is definitely a price to pay when it comes to getting to these nice people. First of all, the wait times are insanely long. INSANELY LONG. Seriously, if you're really ill, you probably won't have the endurance to sit for the 2+ hours in the ice-cold lobby to wait to be seen. Triage is not performed to any extent, as people are only seen on a first come first serve basis. This means that even if you're puking your guts out and can barely stay conscious, you will still have to wait behind the guy getting a urine test for his new job.Beyond the limited insurance options as well, the worst part about this company is their damnable billing department. To provide some background, I had been to this location at least 4 times (I'm pretty sure more than that) in less than 3 months because I wasn't tolerating my recent move to Austin very well. I had sinus infections, bronchitis, and all kinds of issues pretty consistently until I moved out of Texas in May. The problem begins when the staff will tell you after a visit, if the doctor requests a follow-up, that "you must come back within 10 days for the follow-up visit, or else you have to pay again". I confirmed with more than one person more than one time that I could come back for a scheduled follow-up at no charge once when I had an infection that we didn't want to treat with antibiotics unless it got worse. I returned for my follow-up something like 5 or 6 days later, still completely sick, got my prescriptions, and checked out. I was, AGAIN, told I didn't have to pay.Now we are 8 months later, and for the last month and a half, I have suddenly been receiving letters from Concentra DEMANDING that I owe them $45 and that it's so far past due that they will be sending my account to collections if I don't pay it. They INSIST that the payment was due when I came for the follow-up visit, and act like I'm crazy for thinking that I wouldn't have had to pay my co-pay at that time. TWO QUESTIONS FOR YOU, CONCENTRA: If I owed you a co-pay at that time, WHY DID MULTIPLE PEOPLE CONFIRM MULTIPLE TIMES THAT I DIDN'T HAVE TO PAY, INCLUDING THE DAY I WAS THERE AND CHECKED OUT? And the other question, HOW DOES IT FEEL TO CHEAT PEOPLE? Must be pretty damn good for you to stalk someone across the country for nearly a year to extort them for $45.

My mother went in presenting with chills and fever and nausea, having recently had a serious UTI.  She waited 2 hours to see a doctor who said she was fine, who did not want to do a urine or blood test but sent her home.  Two days later, she is being hospitalized for a blood infection from her kidney infection, which would have been totally preventable if she had been tested and prescribed antibiotics in a timely manner.  This is a dangerously understaffed and incompetent clinic.

I had to get a biometric screening for my company's wellness program in order to receive discounted medical insurance in the next calendar year.  Most years I wouldn't bother because these things always turn into a hassle, but it's been a hard year for my company, so this might be all we get in the way of raises in 2015 so I decided to suck it up and go through with it.  I called on a Tuesday to schedule an appointment at this location, and they told me they were out of kits but should receive more Wednesday or Thursday at the latest.  I went when they opened on Friday, and when I walked in, they told me they still didn't have any kits.  I must have been visibly upset since I had to take the morning off of work to get this done, and the staff collectively begged to help me find a solution including driving to I-10 and Dairy Ashford at rush hour to get a kit to bring back to me at this clinic.  I opted to go to another location that was on my way to work, and the Post Oak office called ahead and asked them to take me as a "rush" and faxed my information ahead.  In summary, I didn't receive medical treatment at this location, but the people at this clinic seem really great and patient-focused.  Although I was disappointed that they didn't have the kits when they said they would have them, they did bend over backwards to make sure I had a solution.  I'd go back.

Waited 2 hrs before getting my tests done. Staff at the counter is extremely rude. You will not get what you need, waste your time. Do not waste your time and money in this place. There are 100s of other urgent care centers that will be happy to take your business. Incompetence at its best.

Walked in for Uber physical and drug screening at 930am Friday. In and out in about 1hr. Reception staff was efficient and got me checked in with a smile. Medical Assistant (male)..exact same. Dr. Smith who did my physician was a hoot. Funny and quick...exactly what I needed for my city of houston inducted BS screening. Would I come here if I was dying? Maybe not. Would I come here for minor urgent care issues in the future? Without a doubt, yes.

I'd been so sick for almost two weeks with  what I thought was the stomach flu. I paid a couple of visits to my regular doctor, he did nothing but prescribe medicine for nausea. Finally, I decided I had had enough, after losing 10 pounds in two weeks and missing three days at work I went to this clinic as the last resource last Monday. The staff was really nice. I'm sure they could tell from my face the level of despair I was in. Immediately, they put me on a wheel chair, offered me bottle water and proceeded to call the doctor.  Next thing,  they gave me an IV while waiting for the doctor. The doctor came and asked a couple of questions and immediately told me I did not have the stomach flu but an stomach infection. Got blood tested, prescribed medicine and within the hour they sent me home. Not to mention, the medicine was instant recovery, I was able to eat and finally after two weeks observed some colors on my face. $75 bucks with insurance though! The bad:Opens till 5:30 p.m.Closed on Sunday, hence the four stars and not five.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars!! I went in to this clinic the other day because my normal dr could not see me and I left with no answers. Dr. Smith did not even talk to me about the results of the tests I had done and didn't talk to me about the antibiotic shot they gave me. He came in once to evaluate me and then never came back into my room and he never told me what he thought was going on. I had two X-rays done and he didn't even talk to me about what he saw in them. I was very disappointed with how I was treated by him. He honestly treated me like I was just some drug seeker looking to get pain killers or something. I would not recommend coming here at all and I will never be coming back!! Worst visit ever and a waste of time and money. The nurses and X-ray tech were both nice though.

The. Worst. Ever. You show up 10 min before your appointment they say we will have you back in 5 to 10 minutes. 30 minutes later they call you back. After asking specifically if your doctor is working that day and they assure you he is you find out that in fact he is not working today. Concentra loves to waste my time. If work didn't force me to go here I would stay far away.

My mom had a 3 PM appointment. She arrived 10 minutes early, and left work early for the sole purpose of this appointment. They left her waiting for over an hour with no reason or supplemental information as to why her appointment was not starting on time. They do not honor appointments and entertain walk-ins, so even those WITH an appointment are waiting and waiting for what seems to be hours. She has had multiple appointments here and it is always the same scenario. VERY bad health service here.

checked in at noon...  it's 3:13 pm, still waiting...i'll let you guys know when i get called LOL!update:  it's 4:10pm, they are refusing to see me as a patient.I'm being asked to come back next time, or they're going to refund the copay.Staff are not aware of any protocols.  They're statements are consistently different from one another.    I guess i'd recommend going elsewhere....update after 2 weeks later:  i received an EOB from my insurance.  Apparently Concentra (even tho I didn't get to see a doctor) billed my insurance.  This is a fraud.  I have called my insurance company to investigate.  They will be collecting the money after verifying. Nope. This place will make you wait all day for little to no results. They're inexperienced and don't take your needs seriously. Went here for a work related injury, recommended by the company I work for. Concentra didn't do anything for my injury but take a bad x-ray, when they brought me the results they said "it kinda looks broken" .... WOW. After waiting 3+ hours in just the exam room and letting them know several times I had to leave soon, I finally walked out. They didn't offer any supplies, prescriptions, or advice to help me heal. The only thing I really got from this place was a picture of a bad x-ray, and the heads up to my company that I can pass a drug test...(which I had to come back the next day to do). Huge waste of time and gas money. Never again.

The people were great, but now I know to make an appt, even for urgent care. This place also does work physicals and drug screens, plus coming right before lunch is not a good idea. I was here for 3 hours for an allergic reaction to something. Thank goodness I wasn't having problems breathing.

AVOID THIS PLACE BY ALL MEANS.From the first phone call this place was horrible.  I called to set an appointment and whoever answered the phone was hurried, rude, and hung up on me.  I called back a second time and was able to get the appointment after a lot of rude replies and she promptly hung up on me again after saying the time once.  I was in the middle of talking...I get there and as soon as you open the door to walk in they roll their eyes, and give snotty looks.  It was obvious that I was a pure annoyance, an obligation that distrubed their gossip session. After waiting several minutes at the desk one girl finally comes over and "checks me in" which includes paperwork being thrown at you, literally, and someone purely ignoring you.  The doctor that came in... wow.  He was a bit mousy and beyond rude.  He did not want to touch me and examine the injured area at all.  He was extremely dismissive and curt.  Checkout time was a blast.  It's interesting to see all of the staff completely ignoring you as they instead sit on the desks, with their backs to you, and ignore you.  They may glance over a few times.  But, the talking doesn't end.  I waited in the checkout area for almost 30 minutes.  Finally, a girl starts checking me out and then someone in the back office called her (a manager, could it be?!) to go back there so they could gossip some more (we could hear everything).  It was astonishing.  Believe me - avoid this place if you can.  My job sent me here and I've voiced my concerns.  No one else will go there from my job.  Terrible, terrible place.  Oh and the icing on the cake - I was the ONLY customer at the time....  My appointment took over 2 hours for something that could've taken 30 minutes.

I came here to see a provider with the urgent care center and would never go back.I arrived just after they opened for what I suspected (and later confirmed) was strep throat. There was no one waiting when I signed in so I was happy and thought I would not have to wait long. The front desk told me to expect an hour and a half total time there which was not ideal, but tolerable. The guy who was supposed to be entering my information in their system seemed more concerned with joking around with his coworkers than doing his job.I was taken back after about an hour to a room where a nurse saw me and said the doctor would be in in about 20 min. A half hour later she came back and said I should be next as he was in the room next to me. About 15 minutes later a different nurse came in to say the doctor was running really late and I would have wait another hour. I told her the front desk and other RN had said something different and she advised me they were incorrect.I asked if I could leave and go over to the Starbucks and come back in an hour and they said ok. However I saw there was a Zoom Care right next to Starbucks and was able to get in within 15 minutes,  where they diagnosed me, billed my insurance (they were much cheaper than urgent care) and had the needed prescription on site. I highly suggest staying away from this urgent care and crossing the street to Zoom Care!

I certainly won't be darkening their doorways again anytime soon. Wouldn't have come in the first place had it not been for a mandatory mask fitting and drug screening we are imposed upon not only to take yearly, but at our own expense. The payment part isn't within the control of the Concentra people, it only added an appropriate splash of annoyance to the overall experiences there. Three words to describe this Concentra, after three visits: Slow. Indifferent. Inept. There it is, Game. Set. Match. Much better options very nearby....

The front desk staff was fairly rude and short in person and on the phone. I understand you are busy but please treat people with respect. I waited 3.5 hours before I saw a PA who was also somewhat rude and very abrupt like I was interrupting her day. The ma that took me into the room and he one that took my blood were both very kind and considerate. My employer chose this place. I would not come again or refer friends or family.

There are extremely mixed reports on when this place is open. It says on their phone that it's open saturday. It says on some websites it's open saturday and sunday. It says on the actual concentra website that it's open monday through friday. I went there on Saturday and they were locked up tight. Extremely pissed. I needed to get a drug test for a job which I  may very well not get because of their shoddiness.

Office staff very friendly.  Javier, MA also friendly but it was hard to crack a smile with him.  Facility is very clean.  Drug screens seem to be priority.  I could hear other patients and staff talking in the hallways near my room (exam 2).  I had symptoms of your common cold mixed with flu-like symptoms.  I did not expect to be seen right away but it took 45 minutes for me to be seen by the PA-C for ten minutes.  I checked in at 11:26am and finally left at 12:28pm.  She was friendly but not worth the wait time and only seeing her for ten minutes.  A huge plus if you go in with your paperwork filled out.  Their forms are available on their website.I will not be returning unless I absolutely have no other options and nothing on my schedule for a few hours.

Got here at 7:08...they opened at 7am. Signed in at 7:10. Okay. They have new system I finally got checked in at 7:45. It's 7:50 and I still don't have my insurance card or ID back. Finally went through the door at 7:51. They had to fill out the paperwork by hand. My insurance company had better get billed correctly. Not your normal urgent care visit. Shy, less experienced someone/med aid who asked a health history form question by question. Doc came in. Went over questions again. Medical aid person knocked 3 min later and interrupted us. I was never given an opening to speak in full sentences. Had to butt in. Talked through me and down to me. After waiting for prescriptions forever the aid comes in and tells me I'm done and can go. I still had questions for doctor...was expecting to see him again. Got put back in room. Talked to doctor, he went to go check on med interactions for me as I was pretty sure I couldn't take it and wanted to check. Waiting. Another woman came to tell me I'm all set. Asked if she had my answer and she just looked at me--had no idea I was waiting for the doctor. Said she would go check. The doctor informed me that there was NO interaction. Told me to wait and a nurse will discharge me. Told him they know I'm done as they've tried to discharge me twice already. He led me down the hall and ask for me to be discharged. I won't be coming back. Felt like a waste of time. Mostly waiting for the check in system to work.AND, actually there IS an interaction between the medicines. Google shows the interaction, my pharmacist told me about it, as did my primary care, and the nurse hotline on the back of my insurance card.

I was withholding judgement as long as I could, but my review request just popped up for yelp so here we go.-ahem-I went to Concentra Urgent Care on a Tuesday morning, right when they opened. I called ahead of time to see if I needed an appointment, to put my name down, or just show up. The lady was very cheery and I felt like if I just popped in then I would be seen. I was very sick, shallow breathing, painful breathing, sore everywhere, nausea, basically you name it, I felt it. So to me, this would be a flashing light of ILL patient. I got to the building, signed in, filled out all the highlighted areas that pretty much mark me as needed to be seen urgent. I brought the clipboard back up and was told I would need to wait about an hour because there were about 8 people in front of me for work drug screens and physcials. HOLD ON. I'm having chest pains and i'm being pushed aside for a DRUG TEST!? Is this, or is this not an URGENT CARE facility!?Luckily I really only had to wait 15 min before the nurse called me back. She asked me basic questions and took my vitals. She left the room and when she came back, I was dry heaving in the garbage, getting ready to faint on the floor because of my light headedness. The doctor came in, very stand offish and told me they could treat me. He asked me some more questions, one of the symptoms the nurse had written down I didn't have, nor had I said I did. the doctor left, and a bit later the nurse came back to take me for chest x rays. I was having a hard time walking because I was feeling faint and my body was in pain.X rays went fine, then back to the room. Another amount of time waiting for the doctor, then he came back and told me what I had. He didn't tell me any information about it, not how to treat it other than pain meds, nada. I asked him about how long my dry heaving would last. he asked me why I hadn't said that symptom on my form. I told him the nurse had walked in and I was over the garbage, do they not talk to each other? Are my progressing symptoms not being communicated? This made me question what he had diagnosed me with.Long story short, I question the process of medicine at this facility. I'm sure the staff is knowledgeable, but the lack of communication is very unsettling. Also, Urgent Care comes first. Not a drug screen. I will probably not come back to this center, if I ever need in the future, I will try another place.

I went to Concentra for physical and a drug screen for my captain's license. The doctor who did the physical was great, but that is where it ended.I got a call regarding my drug test a few days later.I called back, as they would not tell me anything over the phone and I needed them to send me the results so I could forward them onto the CG.It took two weeks of me calling 2-3 times a day for them to finally send the results to me.Their customer service sucks.

Stay away from Concentra at Town Center in Hillsboro. I had an injury at work and they are our preferred vendor for work related injuries so that's where I went. Big mistake! I don't have a problem with the people or the service(other than the doctors). the receptionist and the nurses seemed adequate enough. My issue is with the care I received. I saw 2 different Drs. on two sepereate visits. I spent a total of 3 to 4 minutes with the Dr each time. Literally! neither of them gave me a thorough examination. During my second visit I pointed out that I had a large buldge on the left side of my left knee. he moved my leg around a little bit. nothing like how I have had my knee manipulated in the past. He then said "a little time and some PT and you'll be good" He then sent me back to work! I could barely stand! The kicker is that the next day I went to see my Dr. He spent over thirty minutes examining me. From head to toe even though I told him my knee was the issue. After a thorough examination he began to manipulate my knee. After just a few minutes he said that if he had to guess it was a rather severe tear of the lateral meniscus. He ordered an MRI to confirm. The MRI showed exactly what he thought. I am now acheduled to have surgery. From my experience the doctors at Concentra Urgent Care Town Center Locatiin are inept and unwilling to listen to the patient. It is quite apparent that they are on the side of workers comp insurance companies and clearly are not concerned about their patients best interests. I am now having to endure agonizing knee pain for ten days longer that I should have!! THANKS CONCENTRA!!!I will not return! Neither will my family, friends and employees if I can help it.....

Okay, I see all the negative reviews, and I came in with low expectations, but... I came out happy and satisfied! I had a preemployment screening and was sent here to get a drug test and blood titer done. I came in, was greeted by the friendly receptionist, filled out some paper work, and was done with everything within 45 minutes. The medical assistants were very friendly and professional, and the facility is well kept and clean. My overall experience was great, and I loved that it was right by the Embarcadero bart/muni station.

I had to see a nurse practitioner while on a business trip. I went in on a Monday at 5 pm and told it would be a two hour wait. They said I could be seen immediately at 11 am the next day. I came in at 11 with the forms already filled in as instructed and was seen at 11:30 and out the door at 5 after 12. Good service from the initial person who took my vitals, the nurse practitioner and the administrator who forwarded my prescription over to the local pharmacy and handled my insurance card, receipt etc.

A summary of comments from the 7 most recent posts:"the lady on the phone was EXTREMELY rude""service front staff told us wait in 5mins ended up 3 hours wait..""The front staff have no idea what is going on in the back.""clueless and disrespectful staff""The front desk folks are not very friendly, accurate, nor helpful."I'm sure it goes on like this but I didn't continue reading.I can corroborate the experiences of these posters.  After expressing my frustration that I kept getting put on hold for 15 minutes at a time, and transferred to lines that simply rang and rang for 6 minutes before I gave up, Diana simply informed me that she was unable to have my questions answered over the phone.  Because she couldn't be bothered to walk to the back of the office and talk to someone, she forced me to travel from the East Bay to SF just to have some simple questions answered. It is unfortunate that one bad apple can ruin the reputation of the whole establishment.  I am sure that most of the people who work there are lovely and reliable people.

WOW! I just called to cancel an appointment and the lady on the phone was EXTREMELY rude. Couldn't spell my last name right, was asking for all kinds of information that was never given at the time of the appointment. Why would a social security number be provided at the time of making an appointment?! Glad I cancelled and NEVER came in!

I came here for a drug test and physical.  There was a mix of rude and friendly front desk staff and medical staff.  2 stars for the staff that were nice, understanding, and helpful, otherwise I would of given 1 star.  I would not come here again due the lack of organization, efficiency, and courtesy of this urgent care. The employees also seem to have communication issues with each other; they had trouble staying on the same page. If you must come here, I would recommend being stern.

Was here for a work related injury. Here on Saturday at 9 because that's when they opened.  I was anticipating a long wait since I didn't have an appointment. But after filling out some paper work, I was called in within 20 minutes. Doctor was kind and friendly. The only thing was he spoke a bit fast. I got the gist of it all and what I didn't get, I asked again and he didn't mind repeating himself. After that, I had a follow up appointment and a physical therapy appointment. Physical therapy was informative. She told me what she was doing and how my injury was caused. Will be seeing her three more times. Each time I was seen I was called in at an efficient time and everyone including the front desk staff was friendly.

I went back for my last follow up doctor APPOINTMENT and it took me 3 hours and 45 minutes!!! Their scheduling is so messed up, they were turning away walk-ins that day because of the back-log.  I just tried my best to keep calm although my blood pressure is shooting up. That was my final appointment with the doctor from Concentra and I just want it to get over with.  If I will have to continue going to Concentra, Im gonna die of a heart attack, in their waiting area, from frustration. Thank God that is the last time and never again. I spoke with all of my associates who went to Concentra before me, and they all have the exact same experiences. Loooong wait. In fairness, the nurses I met there were very nice.  It seems they care for their patients but of course their hands are tied. All they can do is ask you to wait and wait and wait and wait for a doctor to be available. Unfortunately, that can take more or less 3 hours!

Pretty awful place. Homeless people accidently being let in to use the restroom. MUNI operators from the cable cars doing the same. Staff and crew talking and moving like snails. The number of medical assistants = the number of patients, yet they can only get through 1 person through here per 40 mins.  Even on non-busy days, like during my follow-up, I was the 3rd person there during the morning for a 7:30 Appt.  It still took them 45 mins to get around to me. The one thing I notice is that the Dr. is entering all the information and getting their own charts/write-ups. This causes them to be slow. Someone should really apply some industrial engineering to this place and make it more efficient. But that would make too much sense for American medicine.

Came in here on a Saturday due to a badly sprained ankle. I had called ahead to let them know I was coming in and to ask if they were able to take xrays (yes, they can). Hobbled in and was shown to a room immediately. The doctor and nurse I saw were incredibly sweet and kind. I felt very well cared for- gentle touch, and in and out in an hour. They take most insurances. I hope I don't have to go back (don't want to be injured again) but I would be happy to see everyone there again. A+ care.

My review is a 4 because of a few particularly awesome people who work there. Or it would be a 3.First. They are ALWAYS understaffed. Not the employees fault but be prepared to wait 2 hours. Even if you have an appointment. In addition to them treating Workmans comp patients they are also an urgent care clinic.I am currently being treated by Dr. Dixit- he is very nice and approachable. Easy to talk to.The Physical therapists are good- if not slightly over extended. There are 2 people at the desk who really stand out from the crowd.Diana is golden. She is helpful, upbeat, and really really nice.Kathy is also great. She is helpful, professional,  and makes everything easy. Because of these two- I feel that I'm not just another annoying workman's comp patient. If you can- develop a relationship with these two women and they will take great care of you!

To the Doctors and staff at this Concentra office. Is it too much to ask for someone there to fill out my medical certification for my FMLA? Your office was asked on two separate occasions (5/11 and 5/25) to complete the medical certification for my family medical leave act (FMLA). The most recent request was printed out and hand delivered to your front office staff on Monday 5/25. An excerpt from the most recent request letter:"In order for your leave to be approved, we must receive a completed medical certification form from your physician. I have attached a copy of the form to this email. A copy of the form was also faxed to the Dr. on 5/11. Please have the physician complete and return the form as soon as possible. The form is due by 5/27."I phoned your office on three different occasions to find out the status of the form. Your staff assured me that they would have it filled out and faxed in. I received the following from my FMLA Leave Provider today Decision = Denied Decision Reason = Documentation for Leave not ReceivedApplicable Leave Plan(s): CA Family Rights Act - CFRA / FMLA The only reason why I came to this Concentra office is because my employer sent me. Your office seems to be understaffed. If you cant complete a patients medical certification then tell them in advance so that your patients can find another provider.

This place is a bit of a zoo. I hobbled in here with a bum knee because it was the closest thing to me, but I'm wishing I had done my research ahead of time. The doctor herself (Dr. McDonough) was not bad, but the wait here is just ridiculous. How is it "urgent" care if your patients are waiting for 3+ hours to be seen? I was recommended for physical therapy, but I figured that if I tried to schedule it with Concentra, my 1-hour sessions would take half a day, so I opted for a different place.

Equipment required for my physical not operational. Like every other professional occupation you check your equipment before the day starts. Operational checks. Do it before opening for business. If it does not work then start making phone calls. The best part is they actually started my physical with it seems no intention of actually completing it.My feeling is this is just some corporate facility. Getting people through as quickly as possible is likely the goal here. If you come here regularly it's probably because your employer - who is looking for a cheap solution to your medical issue - is sending you.Side note: You get subjected to trashy talk shows and info-mercials in the waiting areas, at what seems to me high volume. I mean c'mon.

I was here because I had an infection on my thumb. Got in around 9 am for a walk-in and the customer service attended to me right away and was very straight forward with what the process would be like and the estimated times for each step in the process. I got there before a bunch of people thankfully, I was aiming to get there earlier but that didn't happen. Anyways, I highly recommend going in early and beating the rush.Basically they told me an hour and a half wait and up to an hour for actually seeing the doctor and getting my prescription and insurance checked out and stuff. It was much faster than that, only 45 minute wait in the waiting room, and then I was brought into the doctor's examination room where I waited 10 minutes followed by 5 minutes with the doctor and then another 10 minute wait and then I was out. So it was less than an hour and a half which was much less than I expected. The doctor was really friendly and able to communicate to me well about how to take care of my finger and about the next steps. Also the lady, afterwards who handled the paperwork gave me good information as I am from Canada so I haven't been through the american healthcare services before. Overall, my experience was great. Clean and tidy office that felt decently spacious too.

I waited two hours to see Dr. Kaminski for about 60 seconds. He was inching for the door after not diagnosing anything and just stating we are going to "treat the symptoms". I have hives all over my body and after explaining I was already taking Benadryl he prescribed me ...Benadryl. I had to ask him to prescribe me oral steroids which I only knew because that is what a dermatologist previously treated my hives with. The one star is for the billing department who initially rejected my insurance but then worked with my insurer after I called member services. Thank you! Front office staff was nice. Hopefully my first and last time visiting this urgent care center.

Staff: 5 starsDr. Steven Kaminski: 0 stars. Refused to assess my eye for infection because he's "not an ophthalmologist," then just walked out of the room to yell at his assistant for not providing a vision test that I didn't need. He specializes in emergency medicine at an urgent care clinic; ruling out infection is a big part of his job. Does he turn away people with potential kidney infections cuz he's not a urologist? He never came back and avoided eye contact with me back at the reception desk, where they were kind enough to refund me.

I ended up at Concentra yesterday after hurting my back at work. The company that handles Worker's Comp. claims from my employer was supposed to send my claim info via fax to Concentra prior to my arrival, but the fax was not there when I arrived. And even after requesting two more fax attempts, it had still not arrived. Jazzmina gave me her email address and that method finally worked. She also made sure I didn't have to get up and sit down too frequently while filling out paperwork while being checked in. After my paperwork was received, I waited no more than 30 minutes to see Dr. Carp. He was direct, quick, and reassuring. Plus, he made sure I started physical therapy that day, which I really appreciated as I was in pain and it helped loosen up my back a little. I was given two prescriptions that were filled on site and brought to me in physical therapy. That's good service! The physical therapy team, which is also located on site, was very kind and helpful. Melissa was my physical therapist and did a great job explaining everything to me. And Marvin booked my future appointments and chatted with me pleasantly until my ride arrived. A one stop shop for me and a great experience when I was in pain and needed help.

I mostly agree with Tanner B., but I entirely agree with David M.: This place is inadequate. The staff is slow, unfriendly, and generally incompetent. Don't even think of going here for anything. It's not URGENT care. I know of great URGENT CARE:Golden Gate Urgent Care2395 Lombard St, San Francisco, CA 94123(415) 796-2242But, I chose this place because it's in my medical insurance's (Anthem Blue Cross) network and close to my work. I thought I could go here to be seen, get a prescription, and drive to work. I might have just been a little late. But, I arrived about a half an hour after they opened, 7:30, on a Tuesday morning. There was only one person waiting, and then, someone arrived after me. I was called in second. All my vitals were taken and was waiting in a room. Then, I was told, they were waiting for the doctor to arrive at 8. I had to be at work at 8. If they'd told me earlier, then I would have left as soon as they told me, but I still left and drove to work. So, I was quite late, but fortunately, I was only there to TRY to be treated for an eye infection which I think was caused by my contact lens, so I just decided to wear my eyeglasses to let my eye heal and used an antibiotic ointment that I've been given before at the other urgent care place. But, I was hoping a doctor could have found out if there was any eye damage and if my ointment was enough or if not, be prescribed an other medication for my eye.

This 'medical facility'  is a joke. The wait times are insane (even in the case of emergencies), the doctors are incompetent, uncaring and notoriously late (if they bother to show up at all). You'll be lucky if you get a necessary MRI within 3 months, they'll try to pump you full of drugs while ignoring the real problem (even if it's life-threatening) and send you to other dubious random out of town clinics for said MRI and surgical  procedures. The only good thing about this place is their physical therapy department (awesome staff!)  and the front desk staff which is swamped with dealing with the incompetency of upper management so I'm sympathetic. The owners Dr. Konce and his wife/manager Gabbie should be placed under extreme scrutiny for their questionable business practices. For worker's comp, request to go to your own doctor!!!

Originally I came in for a chest pain that was worrying me. I gave my insurance information to the front desk associate and when I asked what my copay would be I was told, "oh no its okay, don't worry." My first mistake was not questioning this. I later received a $500 bill that was clearly never submitted to my insurance company. The staff was very friendly in taking my information and performing tests on me. When the doctor came into the room and saw me, I felt extremely dismissed. The doctor was more concerned with typing than actually listening to what I had to say. Even if he was able to make such a quick diagnosis, actually LISTENING to and UNDERSTANDING your patient's concerns is equally as important.I returned a second time for an unrelated reason. When I was about to be seen, the power went out (no fault of theirs) and I was advised that I would have to come back the next day to be seen. The doctor than stopped and said, "well I can write you a script for something if you want..?" How the hell am I supposed to ask for a prescription when I don't know what the hell is wrong with me!?? Seems like the doctors here have zero concern with their patients, and are only concerned with getting people in and out.never coming back here again, and neither should you.

Oh my GOD. The elderly Asian doctor here needs to RETIRE. I was in town and woke up at 4 AM from excruciating eye pain. I thought that I had a corneal abrasion or that something was stuck in my eye because 7 hours later, it was still hurting. I came here (I am not from this area, was in town) and wanted to get it checked out/removed. The front desk lady was nice. It was Saturday morning, so I don't expect bright and cheery. The nurse that helped me was wonderful and sweet and was trying to get my helped asap. The doctor came in and proceeded to not only talk my ear off, but he first had me lay down to try to flip my eyelid in the most brutish way possible (WITHOUT GLOVES--I did not even know if he washed his hands :(.... ). Without a warning, he was pinching/grabbing/poking my eyelid in the most painful way. I think I lost about 10 eyelashes.... And then because the eyelid was so swollen and could not be flipped, he then just put some dye in my eye, looked at it under the light, and concluded it was not a corneal abrasion but a bacterial infection.... I had NO symptoms of mucous, pus, etc. He DID NOT even ask me, but started writing up a prescription for antiobiotics with a really shaky hand (really... please, retire.).I'm glad I got out of there quickly, and went to get normal eye drops to try to flush that thing out because the doctor could not. What a waste of my money and time. PLEASE RETIRE!

The unnecessary truth about Concentra is that for all of your pre-employment screenings they might ask you to come here, which is unavoidable. However, if this is not your situation and you can go to a different Concentra, I would recommend that you do. The actual experience with them was fine, except for the fact that I'm a Respiratory Therapist and I happen to know that the physical he gave me was a joke, and if that's how he actually practices he too is a joke; but after the visit I needed one piece of paper signed, scanned, and emailed to begin my new job. Over the phone the employee said that she would take care of it, no problem, right away. I stressed that this paper needed to be sent back to me within the workday, and she again assured me that it would not be an issue. After 5 hours with no response, I inquired as to what I could do to speed up the process because at this point I believed it possible that I might have to push back the start date on my entire employment because of this, or worse, face not beginning the job at all before another employee emerged with all their paperwork. The next person I talked to on the phone was very rude and unhelpful and said "The Dr. is very busy he'll get to it before he goes home today." I didnt receive it that day and came very close to going to another hospital/urgent care to gain proof of the procedure all over again. Bottom line is that Concentra is rude and unorganized and I highly suggest that if you can go somewhere else, DO.

I went to this place back in 2014 for a workers comp claim and myexperience was ok. The dc back then was a bit rude, but i rather stay away from it. Unfortunatelly i went again this year because a work injury, and they have new staff in which they are total good, nice n professional. They listen to your problems n conscerns n try to help you allot more than before. Tumbs up to dc Baldwin, i have never had an experience w such a great doctor. He listens to your conscern n try to help you at the best as his ability, i never felt a holistic care from a doctor till i became his patient.

AVOID THIS PLACE BY ALL MEANS. From the first phone call this place was horrible. I called to set an appointment and whoever answered the phone was hurried, rude, and hung up on me. I called back a second time and was able to get the appointment after a lot of rude replies and she promptly hung up on me again after saying the time once. I was in the middle of talking... I get there and as soon as you open the door to walk in they roll their eyes, and give snotty looks.

I went in bc I had a lung infection, and I was having a heard time breathing. I was treated like I was a drug addict looking for my next fix. I needed antibiotics. They only started treating me right, when he had scared me enough about what it could be that I started crying and calling my bf to come get me. It was awful, go some where else if you can get to it. No bed side manner, no respect.

Because of Concentra policy, i will have to be reexposed to another x-ray and more radiation. Because of my time overseas in the army I was exposed to TB, meaning before I can work I have to receive a chest x-ray. After faxing normal release of information, i was informed by Concentra that because of company policy, they would not be able to fax my results to another employer (in other words, they want to make more money from another chest x-ray). Over the years i have been exposed to excessive amounts or radiation through depleted uranium and microwave communications. I am currently in remission from cancer. What i don't need is more radiation exposure because of a bad companies greed.

I sat there for four hours to receive mediocre healthcare for a tonsil infection. They prescribed me medications that don't work that I had to pay for out of my own pocket. They apologized when I told them the medicines weren't working. But that's all they could do for me. I wouldn't recommend an exgirlfriend to go there, no matter how much I hate her. I hope the close that place down because they're extremely unprofessional.

For an urgent care location they were very efficient. After I filled out paperwork i waited about 40 minutes to be seen by the nurse, was checked in quickly and easily and my illness was addressed promptly by the Dr. I spoke with the nurse for more time than the Dr but my problem was relayed to her correctly. My rx was called into my pharmacy within the hour. No complaints here. Others may not know what to expect when going to an urgent care facility, but they do have appointments to go by, so on as a walk in client I was pleased.

Worst doctor's office I've ever been to. And what kind of "urgent care clinic" is only open 8-5 monday-friday? We were new the whole urgent care type of healthcare, but our new insurance had a $30 copay for urgent care and $500 for er....no brainer. My wife had a bad cold with lots of chest congestion for about a month and was only showing little improvement here and there. So we decided to go to make sure it wasn't something more serious like pneumonia. She had that a few years ago and it led to congestive heart failure and a defibrillator implantation. So we head up there 10 am on a Saturday morning, waited like 10 minutes, and a super friendly nurse Rachel brings us back. Listens and types all her info, does the vitals, says the doc will be in shortly. Very soon Dr. Nalla came in, equally as nice and thorough. Seemed very concerned about the possibly of pneumonia with my wife's weekend heart and told us the danger of getting the wrong antibiotics for her situation. A quick exam and a check for strep was ordered before the chest X-ray. Strep came back positive and chest X-ray came back negative. All in all we would both recommend Concentra Frisco!

I've never written a Google review before today, but I have never had such a negative experience that I felt compelled to warn others to avoid a location. I went in on 9/14 to do medical testing for something considered "emergency/urgent care." Though my urine sample and the doctor who examined me (who was trained in the body system relating to my condition) both seemed to confirm my condition was present, we needed blood work to be sure. They were able to pull my blood, which is not easy due to chronic dehydration and small veins, so I'll give them that. I was given a suppressant and told that I'd have my results by 9/19 at the latest, but they'd call as soon as the lab came back. Concerned when I didn't receive a call, I contacted them on 9/21, but my results weren't in and was told I'd be called later. The medication worked and symptoms subsided, but I wanted confirmation for long-term treatment. I waited until 9/28, two weeks after testing for a condition that is considered a medical emergency, but there were still no results and was told I'd be contacted. My condition appeared again, meaning symptoms manifest twice in less than a month (which would be an indication that, yes, the condition is present), so I called 10/3, desperate for answers. My results were in and given to me over the phone, meaning anyone with access to your birthday and Social can call, pretend to be you, and access your private medical history. When I spoke to a doctor who was not even in the office the day I went for my testing, I was distressed and confused because the blood work was negative, which did not match what I was physically experiencing. Her answer was that I must have never had symptoms and was hallucinating. I went to a different Concentra for a second trial of blood work on 10/7 because a quick Google search revealed that false-negative blood test results for my condition are VERY common (something an "experienced" doctor should know), and I was called today with lab results. These results were the one's from THIS Concentra, which showed me, thanks to post-dating, that my "urgent care" results have been in their system since 9/17. I had to be the one to pursue my emergency diagnosis for almost half a month when they could have given it to me in less than a week. The staff here was too lazy to go to the back room (where the lab paperwork comes in) to help me and the female doctor on the phone was rude and inappropriate. If I knew who she was, I would file a complaint to revoke her license. I'm sorry, but if it's medically irresponsible to tell someone who experiences delusions that they're hallucinating, then what the heck is wrong with you to tell a girl crying on the phone who wants to know if it was something *she* did that could have messed up the test results because she *knows* she has a medical condition no one would want and she just wants the medication so her body doesn't hurt multiple times a month when symptoms appear? My "urgent care" condition--one that is typically treated at an ER at a general hospital--and health were not a priority to them, as I doubt anyone else's ever will be.

Here in Detroit Michigan there's already a stigma about how people act and how they conduct business. This Concentra location is not the worst but definitely the most irritating when it comes to their customer service and delivery in information. I've been in Detroit for about 5 months and I've been at this location 3 times for 3 different reasons and every single time there has either been a female at the front desk with an attitude or dealing with a physician who is not completely convincing that they understand what they're saying. And after the visit your supposed to get a courtesy call and that call is a hot mess because if you have questions about your visit or anything pertaining to what you were seen for, count on them to place you on hold a couple times trying to find information they should already know. Once again they aren't the worst but definitely the most irritating. I'd rather people with bad attitudes that can give me sufficient Information in a timely manner Vs people with terrible attitudes who also can't give you any info in any type of timely fashion.

This place is a joke. Been dealing with these people since 2012 for a work related injury and all they can suggest is physical therapy and to take ibuprofen. they don't try to help you find out what is actually wrong with your injury but they do know how to cover it up like a bandaid. Dr. Thurston did not even listen to anything that was going on with my shoulder and pretty much brushed everything under a rug and released me. I agree with the previous reviews of Dr Thurston. This man is a quack. I went to him for a recheck and all he did was ask me to walk on my injured ankle, didn't ever put his hands on the injury or look at my ankle. After that he cancelled my Physical Therapy, said no more crutches, no more boot, just take some Vicodin to push through the pain and go back to work in a week full duty. Prior to that I was on crutches and a boot to move around and have limited movement in the ankle. Physical Therapy was working hard to get it moving again. This man doesn't belong in the medical profession. The rest of the place gets four stars.

If I could give this place a ZERO it would have been done. Do not go here and expect to see a real doctor. Make sure you ask if you are going to see a doctor because the people in this place are awful. I saw an Asian doctor who was completely worthless. Not to mention he certainly wasn't trying to help me (the patient) it was very obvious he was there for his benefit. He made crucial mistakes In my care. I am thoroughly disgusted with the professionalism of this staff. Be sure if you need to have physical therapy you go somewhere else. The PT Ashley Raider believes that she can alter a doctors orders since she has obtained her doctorate. Be sure if this happens to you that you speak up. She is not your doctor she is a PT and needs to be reminded on a constant basis. Ashley's attitude is very sassy, disrespectful and unprofessional. As she discussed my care in front of several other patients while yelling across the room and making sure that she mentioned she had her doctorate. This has got to be the worst urgent care facility on the planet. A simple physical takes at least 5 hours. You sit in the waiting room for 2 and half hours. In the meantime a nurse does the portion of the physical (vitals, sight, hearing, urine) that the doctor doesn't have to do. Then, when you finally get called to see a doctor they place you in an examination room, tell you to change clothes, and make you wait for another 3 hours! Everyone on staff has the same answer. "It's only gonna be 10 to 15 minutes. Simply ridiculous. There's nothing urg about this place. Your best bet is to die. To be a health care facility, you must first be able to care for the health of your patients. We sat waiting for 30 mins for referral papers to get an ultrasound. After asking what was taking so long, they notified us that their printer was broken and they tried to send us out with emailed referral papers close to closing time. No other place will accept you with out physical papers. Thank goodness I called the hospital and found that out. The person at Reston hospital told them what they needed to do and told them to fax it over. My fiancé would not have been seen that night had it not been for her. After the results were in and sent back to concentra, they failed to get back to my fiancé after he talked to someone twice, they said the doctor would not have time to look at the results. Not one ounce of concern at all. This is a person, a father, one loved by many, and one of the best people I have ever met and he is being treated like a piece of garbage. Maybe we won't have time to pay the medical bill when it comes in either. Please do not go here if you care about yourself. Please do not recommend a friend to come here or listen to the adds on the radio about this place. You are much better off going to the clinic at Target by the Wegmans. They will do it right the first time and not leave you lingering in pain and discomfort and treat you like a human being.

I just moved to Colorado so was nervous walking in, on top of being sick. Didn't want to be treated rude. The minute I walked in the front desk was super friendly, and all the staff treated me with the best care. Made moving and not feeling good a lot easier.

Under no circumstances should you walk in here. I'm having a possible drug interaction with antibiotics causing loss of vision. I walked in, was not even offered the opportunity to talk with a dr, and told to go see an ophthalmologist. If you want actual care, you need to go someplace else. Edit - Confirmed, I was having an allergic reaction to antibiotics. But, they wouldn't know that, because they are hacks, and didn't even take the time to have a nurse talk with me or take my BP...

I walked in dead, sick, feeling weak, unable to think clearly, and took an uber to get there, on the recommendation of a friend. I was thinking so unclearly, I hadn't remember my wallet. They were very kind and accommodating, and they took care of me hand and foot, got me the treatment I needed, and got me home to recover. I'm not suggesting you take advantage of the fact that they took care of me under these circumstances, because definitely don't do that.

I have been to this location twice in the last week for pre-employment drug screening and physicals. The second experience was by far worse. The waiting room wait was 73 minutes. I then gave a urine sample, got height and weight, and a th test. Was told to wait and the doctor would be in soon. 40 minutes after that, a nurse came by saying I would be next after the doctor was finished with an emergency. An hour later and I still have not been seen.

My man had an appointment to see doctor and when we showed up they told us there was a 2 hour wait. What is the point of making an appointment?! The only good thing about this place is it is nearest 24 hour location even though it's roughly 20 miles from where we live. The employees are helpful but it seems this place is understaffed. I hope we don't have to come here again. At least the doctor was nice.

This place is a joke!!!! I went to the counter and told the first lady that I was there to have blood drawn and the results sent back to my Doctors office in Greensboro. I also stated that they did it last year for me. Well they said I had to fill out all the forms even though I was there last year. I filled out all 5 pages of the form then turned it in with my ID and Benefit card. This process took about 20 minutes to complete I waited another 50 minutes to be told that they no longer drew blood at this location. To say the least after wasting an hour of my time I was not a happy camper!!!!! A true Joke the first lady should have told me that they didn't do blood work instead of making me wait like that. I give this place a -5 star. I will report this my company HR to see if I have this placed removed from places we send new employees for testing. Kind Regards Dan Hayes

Helpful tip: Go as early in the day as you can! I went for a physical and TB test on a Thursday morning and I was done in LESS THAN AN HOUR! I've done the same thing every year (filled out my paperwork ahead of time/gone early in the day) and I'm always in and out pretty quickly. I've never had to wait more than 20 minutes. On top of that, the staff is always friendly and professional. Great job!

this place sucks more ass than you could ever imagine. cant give 0 stars so it looks like you get 1 star. this is the kind of place where (unless you're being drug tested) you walk in, and limp out....If you weren't in pain upon arrival, you WILL be in pain 16hrs later when you leave .....if you're expecting the expert opinion of a doctor regarding ANYTHING urgent, you are better off youtubing it yourself or walking down the road to the mattress king or t-mobile and getting advice from someone/anyone elsewhere. there is no rhyme or reason--they are simply retards in lab coats (with exception to one male doctor).

I was very pleased with my visit to Concentra. I used their urgent care services to check on a long lasting cough I had. Within 20 minutes of my arrival I was seen by Dr. Thomas. She was very polite and seemed to truly care about my well-being. She ensured I left in better shape than I came in. The receptionists, techs and aides that I interacted with were also very polite. They seemed to be happy to be at work and not exasperated to be surrounded by sick people hacking away and complaining of various ailments. I had no issues using my insurance to cover my visit and Concentra had release forms that would transfer the record of my services to my PCP. It was relatively hassle-free. I would definitely use the services again

My Experience with Concentra-Stay Away. Unfair billing practice. Once the error is made on the bill it is impossible to get resolved. The lady at the front desk told me the max amount they can charge is $120 which I payed prior to seeing the doctor. My Insurance is a high deductible HSA so I pay out of my own pocket. Once I paid I waited for 1.5 hours then another 30 minutes in exam room. The waiting room was not busy, maybe 5-6 persons. The doctors examination took less than 1 minute for ear infection. I was shocked when I received a bill in the mail after already paying them at the office. Concentra's billing department charged my insurance $315 for a standard office visit(code 99204). I made several phone calls to the urgent care office, Concentra's billing department and my insurance company to resolve this issue, all of them pointing fingers at each other and stating there is nothing they can do. Hence, get a price for service prior to service being rendered, which is what I did. The reason I asked for cost of service was so I don't get over charged and so I can have the option of going somewhere else. I DO NOT recommend going to any of Concentra's urgent care.

Went in, from work, with a large deep gash on my hand. They quickly (5-10 minutes) took me back to a room. The nurse took one look and moved me to another room. She cleaned out the cut and notified the doctor. The doctor came in (about 5 minutes), prepared the area and put in eleven stitched. He was very skilled and personable, talked and kept my mind off the procedure. Before giving me a RX he asked if I was allergic to any meds (Yes). Asked my wife to call our doctor to be certain which antibiotic I could take. Made an appointment for me to return on Saturday to make sure everything looked good. From check in to check out, we were probably there only two hours.

UPDATE: Concentra has now submitted the WRONG REFERRAL three separate times, which has delayed my treatment by more than 2 months. I would advise going ANYWHERE but Concentra. I've been coming to this Concentra for a workers comp injury for the past two months. I always set an appointment and it never fails that it takes 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment for them to even call me to the back. It generally takes another 45 minutes after that to see the doctor. After the appointment is done, I end up waiting another 30 minutes to get my paperwork. In 2 hours, I only average about 10 minutes of interaction with any of the staff. Don't even bother making an appointment. You'll have better luck at Care Now.

I was injured at work..1st time at this location, have been to two other locations..it seems they determine wait time based on severity of injury(or injuries, at least, for me it was..worker's compensation is responsible for it and I have no complaints at all..actually, I waited longer in line at the grocery store,, AFTER being at the clinic..it could have been a little faster, but they were thorough at the Stemmons location and my injuries were originally a severely separated shoulder, along with a twice-broken arm..I spent three days in the hospital before Concentra was even involved..

I had to go here for a drug test when I was on unsupervised probation (moved form up north, very minor charge). I asked them if they would be able to fax the results to my PO and they said no problem. I gave them all the info they'd need for it. It also cost me $60 dollars for a 5 panel drug test!! That's insane when I can buy one for a quarter of the price of Walgreens!! A few weeks later I get a call from my PO office for another drug test order and they mentioned they never received the results of my last drug test. WHAT?!? I was pissed! I could of been arrested and thrown in jail because of this! I called them and yelled over the phone about their incompetence. I'm surprised they faxed the info over immediately after that. I'm glad I did my research for my second drug test facility! Not only did it end up being HALF the price, the results were instant and sent immediately to my PO. If they can't even do a simple fax when it's needed to be done, I cannot imagine how atrocious the medical care is here! Bad care received here! I went in with a terrible cough, chest congestion, and fever that I had been having for 5 days straight and it was getting worse. The doctor saw me and checked some things but said she didn't think there was much she could do for me and thought it was just a cold, even though I had of temperature of 101 in the office. I asked her if it could be bronchitis since I had all of the symptoms and she said she didn't think so and sent me on my way after a $40 co-pay and a $26 prescription for a cough suppressant that didn't help at all. A couple days later I still had all of the symptoms and a terrible cough so I went to a different doctor where they immediately diagnosed me with Bronchitis with bad inflammation and put me on an antibiotic. Did not like the care I received here when I knew that it wasn't just a normal cold!

I was visiting friends in North Little Rock when I visited Concentra (North Little Rock) for a back injury. I saw Dr. Adametz. There was no diagnostic examinations done, but I was given a prescription for a non-narcotic, anti-inflammatory medicine. After taking the medicine for two days as directed, I began to notice side-effects, not to mention the medicine wasn't effective to begin with. I called Concentra and asked if I could come back for a follow-up, as there are no other urgent care facilities in the area and I didn't want to visit an ER. I was told that I could, so I went back a second time and saw Dr. Hickson. She flat refused to examine me further, nor did she change my prescription. As I was not a resident of AR and didn't have a PCP, I was forced to visit an ER where my problem was correctly taken care of. It was bad enough that I had to visit Concentra twice for essentially nothing, but both doctors (Adamezt and Hickson) had poor attitudes. They didn't seem the least bit caring about my situation, rushed through my visits, refused to perform diagnostic tests, and refused to treat me further when what little they tried didn't work. My guess is they thought I was just lying to get pain medicine, but that is no excuse. I cannot recommend Concentra Urgent Care.

Went in for work related oil burns on my arm, hand and face. While I had no wait time the coworker that brought me was sent out to buy pain meds because they had none on site (other than injectable). When waiting to be examined I was given an ice pack and basically told that regardless of pain levels I would be fine. I was given burn cream (for just the face) and left to wait for my co worker to return with pain medication alone and scared. Eventually, after complaining enough, and long after I had reached my pain threshold I was finally allowed to get burn cream on my hand and arm. Despite mentioning possible oil in my eye, my forearm, hand and face were never even examined.. It was an upsetting and miserable experience.

Was going to Concentra for a work related injury. Don't normally rate Urgent Cares, but I'm specifically rating this Concentra for the physical therapist that I was seeing while I was in their care. Now, beforehand, The second time I went to PT, I had another women who scolded me for missing an appointment because I had the stomach flu. She was rude, unpleasant, and just not friendly. I've been so fed up with doctors and the whole medical system for a long time because of the ways I've been burned and she just -- UGHH. I was just so angry after having this women do my PT that I just had to request that I did not go back to see her. The other Physical Therapist that I saw, Julie, went above and beyond to take care of me, teach me things that she really didn't have to, and even gave me her card to email her if I had any questions about my fitness journey! It's NOT that hard to be friendly. Customer service is everything and this gal just blew my mind. 5+ starts for her, and 4 stars for my overall satisfaction with Concentra South Burlington, Vermont.

While my mom was on the floor bent over in tears he laughed at her, didn't even examine her because she already had seen her doctor, and kicked her out the room, and on top of it all called my mothers company and lied that she wouldn't not allow him to examine her. Every visit thereafter has ben a disaster. the wait time with an appointmnet exceeded a 1.5 hour wait. I was last there on 07/13/2015, I waited 2.5 hours in the lobby for a 5 minute doctors visit. I HATE VISITING THIS CLINIC AND WISH MY EMPLOYER COULD SEND ME SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The wait time is ridiculous and there has got to be a better way. The young ladies that take the vitals are very nice and accomodating as of 07/13/2015. The director of this facility need to look into making visiting this clinic better!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They treat the money not the patient. Didn't take time to explain anything to the patient had to follow the doctor around to ask questions. I felt that all they cared about was running a business not actual patient care. The treatment I received seemed like the doctor couldn't care less about my injury and i would have been better off googling treatment and using a sick day.

Terrible. Went in for a pre-employment drug test, due to my employer requiring me to go to concentra for one. Drug test toilet has no toilet seat covers (apparently they don't think women or men who have to pee while sitting have to take them) and was dirty. Nurse was unprofessional and didn't use sterile gloves while handling my pee (!!!). This place is absolutely awful, only redeeming thing is the keurig in the waiting area.

Yeah, you'll end up waiting awhile if you show up during a busy period. Also, don't expect hospital level care from a little place like this. I've done multiple drug tests (employment), vacc-shots, and other stuff and the staff has been professional (although very hurried as I think they're worked pretty hard). Not the best, but certainly not the worst.

Can I give less than 1 star? Complete joke. Cattle Call. I went in with a torn Achilles tendon was told I have a calf muscle strain, Go back to work, even I could see the break in the X-ray. They do not respect people's time and over-book appointments. They claim this is because they are an urgent care clinic, however, the great majority of their business is employment physicals & drug screening, not urgent care. We are now an hour past appointment time and I've seen 0 urgent care clients. Update: a dude came in with a puncture wound to his finger. He was seen immediately. Get that $$ Concentra!

I was here last year and again this year for my pre-employment physical and drug test. Both times for me were excellent! I did the walk in and was told there was a 2 hour wait. If I could give less than one star I would. Came in an hour and a half before they closed for a work injury. Was placed in a room and waited for about an hour. The dr spent less than 5 minutes with me. Told me to come back the next day for an xray. While checking out I over heard him tell a nurse that "i don't care if it's Michelle Obama. I would tell the president to come back tomorrow because I don't work past 6pm".

Needed care for a painful sore throat and ear ache on the day after Christmas. Called ahead to verify my insurance and checked around at different locations for their wait times. From the time I got there, I waited about 20 minutes to be seen. The lady who took my vitals and labs was understanding and efficient. After about another 20 minute wait for the lab results, the doctor was able to diagnose with tonsillitis and prescribe antibiotics and pain medication that I was able to pick up at the pharmacy that day. In less than 24 hours, I was feeling almost back to normal. This is the purpose for urgent care clinics, so I really appreciate their care to get me feeling well again!

This was the worst experience I have ever had in a doctor. The quack "PA" (piss ass) that saw me diagnosed me with an upper respiratory infection and then told me to switch from Zyrtec to Zyrtec D and from Musinex to Musinex D. Um...HELLO!!! It's an infection!! That requires an antibiotic. No medicine was prescribed and then they worst of it the quack "doctor," and I use the term doctor loosely, signed off on it. This place is full of idiots that obviously got their licence to practice medicine out of a cracker jack box. Then they expect me to pay them for the visit. Not happening. Will never, ever go there again.

The absolute WORST Urgent Care. Ever. They took 1 hour to call my 87 year old grandma in for examination, and once inside we had to wait another hour just to get vitals checked. It took another hour for the actual doctor to look at her, sidenote: the doctor was rather unpleasant. After getting an EKG done (that was the only nice person I saw, aside from the front desk) thet refered my grandma to a hospital because she "might" have something in her left heart.... 4 hours and the best they could do was refer her to a hospital. Terrible service, terrible practice. Avoid at all costs!!!

My Experience with Concentra Urgent Care - Stay Away. Unfair billing practice along with poor service. Once the billing error was made on my bill it is impossible to get resolved. Went in for a pre-employment urine drug screen. When I did not produce enough urine on my first try, I was told I had three hours to produce enough urine. I was offered apple juice, orange juice or bottled water while I waited to try again. I took apple juice, but proceeded to refill the bottle with water once I finished the juice. Two hours later, after 10 ounces of apple juice and 50 ounces of water I hoped I would urinate enough for their test. Three days later I get a call saying that while I passed the drug test, my urine was too dilute and I would need to repeat the test. Why did no one at Concentra tell me that drinking all that water would make my specimen unacceptable? Now I need to waste my time to go in again. Please Concentra, retrain your staff to prevent further error and frustration for all involved (employer, employee, your own staff members, outside labs, etc)

Avoid this walk in clinic at all costs. Only go here if you have an appointment for pre-employment drug screen. Don't come here by choice. I was charged 312 dollars for a 5-10 minute office visit. All they did was take my blood pressure and visually diagnosed my symptom as an infection. Then told me to see a Doctor! 312 dollars for medical advise to seek treatment. I have been here several times for different reasons. I was well taken care of. It ends the hassle of scheduling appointments when you are really ill and need to be seen asap. I was in town for business and needed stitches. The lobby was full and there was a long wait, however everyone was working hard to get the clients taken care of. I was treated by a very nice and professional nurse who didn't even take time to eat her lunch because she was treating patients. Some may not know Concentra does a lot of drug screening, rehab and workmans comp as well as taking on everyone else that walks in. I have take quite a few drug tests for condition of employment, and never have I been so disappointed with the Labs service. I highly suggest some time in the near future their employees are trained and no how to handle difficult situations. The doctor told us that if we don't take everything (local anesthetic, 2 types of antibiotics, extra bandages and ointment to take home) that he wouldn't touch it. My husband was bleeding out so we had no choice but. We didn't want all the extra because we can't afford it but time was running out. The visit itself was $205 billed plus $40 up front. The actual stitching was $247. They really milked it. My husband was injured on the job, and I do understand that Concentra and places like it are the typical place folks are sent for drug screening, workman's comp, and the like. The place was clean and the counter staff were relatively friendly and helpful. The problem I had was with the actual medical services provided. My husband saw Dr. Christopher F. Galus, who not only did not ask appropriate questions regarding his injury, but who also gave a flimsy diagnosis, and wrote a note saying he could go back to work today...as long as he doesn't use his left arm at all. Well...he delivers uniforms and mats to businesses. You need both arms for that, say nothing of needing both arms for driving. Even those things I may have been able to overlook, but what about prescribing medication where one of the most common side effects is vertigo TO A PATIENT WHOSE MEDICAL HISTORY SPELLS OUT THAT HE IS PRONE TO VERTIGO?!? On top of that, when we called and pointed out the error, the doctor apologized and then prescribed a medication THAT HE IS ALLERGIC TO! Do you read, Dr. Galus?!? How are you allowed to treat patients without reading their personal information and medical history first? The last time my husband had vertigo, he ended up in the hospital on an I.V., I shudder to think that we could have ended up there again, had I not Googled the name of the medication we were given. So in addition to giving us a medication that was potentially very harmful, they also did NOT give us an information sheet, telling us any of the side-effects, or potentially bad drug interactions. I understand that Concentra is, in may ways, the fast food chain of the medical industry, but please don't let that stop you from taking good care of human beings. God forbid one day you are the person in need of medical help and you get someone like you as a physician. In my opinion, the whole process at Concentra is broken and needs to be fixed. After all the hands that touched that paperwork, SOMEONE should have at least read it. This entire experience was, in my opinion, ridiculous. The patient should not have to police the doctor or his office and how they do their jobs. They should just do them and do them correctly.

Had the best experience EVER for an urgent care. Went in for a tb test and the place was packed....to my surprise, things moved very quickly because the patients in the waiting room were there for a variety of services, my wait time was about 30 minutes, better than that of my primary care physician! The staff were friendly and professional, over all experience was very nice, would recommend this location for work related physicals and testing

By far the worse experience, The staff at the front desk were very rude and not caring. Argued with me over my insurance for 45 mins to find out they don't accept Blue Cross PPO, could've told me that right away but NO, had me call blue cross and give me the run around. I will never go back or recommend anyone to go here.

Concentra staff are sorely lacking communication skills. I was told it would be a 1 hour wait even though they said they closed in 15 minutes and there was no one in the office. The doctor had poor bedside manner. She wrote me a prescription but made the classic end of day mistake of being in a rush and not signing the prescription. So when I went to the pharmacy they couldn't fill it. By then the Concentra office was closed and wouldn't be open again for 2 days so they couldn't confirm over the telephone that the doctor wrote the prescription. By Monday I still hadn't heard back from Concentra or the pharmacy. Several days later I talked to a customer service representative. He said he would look into it and call me back, which he never did. Instead, he called me 1 week later asking how things were and if I got things taken care of. I find it ironic that the individual who called me to see if things were taken care of was the one who told me himself he would look into it and call me back. I never got the prescription filled. I am disappointed and frustrated with the lack of communication and the fact that no one could take responsibility. I will not go back to Concentra.

I had physical therapy for rotator cuff surgury at this location in Ft. Collins. I enjoyed the staff and lax atmosphere here. These guys have helped out a bunch. I was sent here for a workman's comp claim and their Physical Therapy dept has some very knowledgeable staff. When I first showed up, I was literally unable to put on my shoes in the morning, due to how poorly I dealt with my back injury. After several weeks of therapy and rigorous stretching, I'm making amazing progress and couldn't be more grateful for Bren and their intern Mike. Good people with good intentions. So thank you guys.

I went in 15 minutes after they opened because I was having difficulty breathing due to an allergic reaction to medication. The guy at the front said it could be 3 hours total visit time since there were a few people ahead of me, and he handed me paperwork. As I filled it out I heard him talking to people on the phone and in person. He said basically the same thing to everyone, focusing on how many charts, how many patients, how many hours. And the paperwork was mainly about payment and authorizations. I was there less than 5 minutes before deciding to leave. I went to UCHealth instead on Harmony. Walked in, barely got the words out of my mouth that I was having an allergic reaction and was asked if I had difficulty breathing. A nurse was called, and I barely had time to sit down before I was called in and treated with respect, dignity and kindness. That's how to treat sick people. Concentra was the opposite of that. Bad first impression.

Concentra Urgent Care - Stay Away. Unfair billing practice along with poor service. Once the billing error was made on my bill it is impossible to get resolved. They keep sending me a bill which I paid in full at time of service. Charged $315 for a standard office visit which I waited for 1.5 hours in the waiting room then another 30 minutes in the exam room. The doctor took less than 2 minutes for the exam. Concentra Inc. (Concentra), was sold to MJ Acquisition Corporation for approximately $1.055 billion in cash. Front desk lady was very nice, both on the phone and in person. Wait was substantial, but they clearly only had one doctor working on the weekend, so that is to be expected. Nurse that did my initial processing was not communicative, never once looked at me when speaking, and seemed as if I had inconvenienced him by coming in. The doctor, however, listened carefully to my concerns and offered my input on the treatment options available. I would go back again.

Fairly miserable. I had to take a drug screen for a new job I was about to start. Like most people would, I drank a fair amount of fluid before I arrived. I just needed anyone with a pulse. Will never return.

Avoid this place if you can. Checked in at 10:47 and was told someone would call me so I could pay the deductible which never happened. Almost 3 1/2 hours later they called me to the back to one of the rooms where I waited another hour for the doctor to come in and ask me some questions. I was then escorted to another room for blood samples by a nurse who was complaining about her job and about how this is not what she studied for which became obvious when she tried drawing blood. This nurses started moving the needle around because the tube was not filling and had no consideration for the pain she was putting me through. She finally gave up and called a male nurse who finished the job. After I get the final visit from the doctor I'm told to sit in the front until I'm cleared and again never called my name. After waiting for nearly 2 hours I go to the front desk and the employee tells me she can't find my paperwork and says I'm not in the system, then goes to the back and after 5 minutes has the audacity to say she called my name. By the time I left it was 5:13pm. This place needs a complete staff overhaul ASAP!

We went in and had an appointment for physical therapy and to see a doctor. The physical therapy was awesome great at making the patient feel good about the treatment. If I rated them they would get 5 stars but the doctor was horrible the time waiting wasn't bad but we had an appointment and when we got to the back it took the doctor 4 minutes to check him out but he never introduced himself never looked him in the eyes never asked if we had any questions then 4 minutes later walked out with the nurse and left us there at first I thought they were coming back but as we walked out the nurse looked up and pointed to the door.... So we sit down to be checked out and we learn the doctor wants him to come in again, which he never said, that he was still on light duty, which again was never said, and gave him his prescription, and it wasn't the same medication he was prescribed last time and I asked about all these things and the front desk said there wasn't anything in the chart about changing the meds and when I said we weren't told about the light duty or other appointment he was like well I don't know why he didn't tell you so we made the appointment and as we are leaving the front desk guy apologizes... Ugh didn't even ask if we needed to talk to the doctor again or any of that... Man the HIPPA violations are tremendous... Hated that doctor and customer service or care we received from the doctor and nurse it was very sure that they didn't give one thought to the patient or their well being...

I saw Dr. Curra, the Physician's Assistant, and both of the Physical Therapists for a work injury. They were all excellent. They actually listened to me and helped me as best they could. They explained my condition to me and answered my questions satisfactorily. Every time I entered the office it was packed and there was a long wait for my first visit, however, for follow up visits I was admitted more timely. The front desk staff who admitted me were professional and as efficient as possible considering the volume of patients. However, the radiology technician snapped at me on two occasions (once when I didn't know I was supposed to put a gown on and another time when I was supposed to be waiting on my paperwork), but I still would recommend this location. Just beware of the Radiology Technician. I don't want to down rate the other staff because of her. I have since been to a horrible Concentra location in another state which made me appreciate the care I received in El Paso. Also, the young lady who does the drug screens was very professional and efficient. As a person who is a health care professional I can tell you this is some of the best care you will receive from a Concentra location.

Where to start I been here twice and both times my visits were a disappointment. The line is always horrible you might as well write the day you go off. Everytime I visited it felt like I was going to Walmart to be seen your pretty much a number not a patient and the vast majority of people I dealt with acted like if they worked at Walmart they seemed unhappy to be there. Things as simple as a drug test will take you well over an hour and if you go ready to use the restroom for the test good luck getting them to give it to you. If it wasn't because my job used this clinic I would avoid it at all cost.

I understand that Urgent Care is a first come first serve kind of place but it would almost be worth the extra $40 to go to the ER. Been sitting in the waiting room almost 3 hours. The person I brought here has been fed paperwork multiple times before he was finally brought back, only to be sent back out to the waiting room after more than 30 minutes of being in the back because they didn't have a room for him. Front office staff a total of 2, but they seem to care more about socializing with their friends (?) that just walk in and park themselves behind the counter and make themselves comfortable. Stay AWAY from this place! unprofessional, incompetent and unsympathetic! I have to start by saying that I usually don't write reviews but I thought you all should know this. I had some stomach pain and nausea. I called Concentra at this location to check whether or NOT they had the equipment and were able to diagnose APPENDICITIS. The lady on the phone said " We SURE have the equipment and our doctors would be able to give you a diagnosis" After waiting for almost an hour to be seen, a Nurse Practitioner walks into my room and says "WE DON'T HAVE THE EQUIPMENT THAT IS NEEDED TO DIAGNOSE APPENDICITIS AND BASED ON WHAT I HEAR YOU MIGHT HAVE APPENDICITIS". She also asked if I sign a couple of documents on my way in and if I was asked multiple questions at the check in desk but this NEVER happened. She said the only thing they could MAYBE do for me is reimburse me for the visit. They did not offer to call a cab for me or an ambulance. I was in so much pain and could not believe what was happening. I got to the emergency room and was diagnose with Appendicitis. According to the doctors I had surgery right on time. There was some liquid already out but thankfully everything went well at the hospital. The moral of the story here when going to Concentra NEVER trust the person on the phone, the person at the check in desk, the person checking your insurance card, the NURSE or even better STAY AWAY from this place!

The one time I had to go in there, the place was overcrowded and understaffed. I had to wait nearly 3 hours for the doctor to see me, one and a half hours of that time - in the exam room. The doctor only glanced at my problem (ingrown toenail) and announced the diagnosis - never even touching my foot and examining it correctly. I was diagnosed with toe infection and set on round of antibiotics for 10 days. After that time my toe was only marginally better, so I went to another doctor who after a proper check, figured out what it REALLY was and had me undergo a procedure right away. TL;DR Long wait, inattentive doctor, misdiagnosis. Might be the circumstances or bad day, but I won't be going back there anytime soon.

This place is great ! Some of the best Doctors in the city come through here. The customer service is great! They have the best physical therapy office out of all of the concentra's in SF. They also provide acupuncture and chiropractic care. Dr. Ueda is the best Chiropractor in West Coast. I have been to over 20 Chiropractor's in my life and no one practices quite like him. I can see how people could give bad reviews b/c they had to wait a long time to be seen and the waiting room gets packed. The bathrooms aren't great either. You really have to look at it from the inside out and not judge it by its cover. ( plan to leave early to give you time for finding parking and waiting to be seen). Go elsewhere! Typical seasonal sinus infection, just need a prescription. 2 hour wait then brought to exam room by someone that looked irritated to be there. Then began the question and answer period. the same ones that were on the 5 page form I filled out two hours earlier. However this one included "are you married, divorced or have a partner?" "do you live with this person?" What does this have to do with my nasal infection? Next, as my nose is running and dripping on the floor I go to grab a tissue to wipe my nose and she stops me and says "don't do that, i need it as a specimen". I felt like telling her that there is plenty on the floor. She passes me a swab and tells me to swab my own throat for a specimen. Gag reflex kicks in and shoving the 5" stick to the back of my throat does not produce the desired results. She waits impatiently as continue to choke. She leaves and 1/2 hour later a nice Doctor arrives spends 5 minutes and sends me off with a prescription to pick up. He tells me there are many to choose from and some work better than others. Day one on meds are fantastic with significant signs of improvement. Day 4 and I begin to slip back into pre medication symptoms. I contact the office and still at 8:10am they have their answering service pick up. (they open at 8:00) Call back at 8:25 and speak with the office to ask the doctor to prescribe a different antibiotic. She laughs and says, No, you need to make an appointment to see the doctor again! I told her I would rather deal with the consequences of remaining sick than miss another half day of work, spend another $200.00 and be treated as one of the herd.
