181ST AND STARK PORTLAND, OREGON -- I made an online reservation which was for a room with two double beds. I received an email confirming my reservation. When my two Kids and I showed up to check in I was told they didn't have an online reservation from me. I showed the lady behind the after hours window my email which she wouldn't even look at. I was then told there was one room available with one double bed so I took the room.

YOUNGSTOWN, OHIO -- Is the worst hotel EVER! I paid for a hotel because I was having some family issues on August 24 and handed in my key August 25. The very next day August 26, I see a charge of 125.00! I called the motel and talked to a guy at the front desk. I asked him what was it for, he said probably for a blanket. I asked why would they charge me for a blanket and the hotel room? He said the blanket that was stolen, accusing me of stealing the comforter, which I did NOT TAKE.

CARROLLTON, TEXAS -- Last Saturday the 29th of October I was on my way to a football game here in Florida when I checked my credit card and debit cards as I usually do. I noticed a funny charge for a Motel 6 and decided to call my bank about it. Bank was closed (of course) so I decided to call Motel 6 where I found out they had accepted my debit card. Oddly, both of my cards were in my possession. I immediately told the lady that this was fraudulent and that they needed to resolve this matter asap.

SAINT LOUIS, MISSOURI -- I have been working at a franchised Motel 6 location for nearly three years now. I have just about seen and heard everything. A lot of people who stay at a Motel 6 just don't know what to expect going in.

MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA -- I was in Oklahoma on 05/21/2013, and I checked into Motel 6 at 12:30 am on 05/22/2013. I opened my suitcase, put on my pajamas, and left my suitcase open on the bed with me and went to sleep. I woke up feeling awful. I turned the shower on, but it was taking forever for the water to get hot. I turned the bathroom sink on, and it too was taking forever to get hot. I went to my suitcase to get the clothes that I was going to wear that day, as I left the water running in the sink and in the shower. I heard the water splashing on the floor. I went to turn the water off, because there wasn't a pipe under the sink to catch the water. Keep in mind I'm naked.

EL PASO, TEXAS -- Motel 6 El Paso East #1367. Where do I start off? The musty smell of the room when entering or the knife holes on the walls or the mildew in the bathroom? Well, to start off I travel a lot. I choose Motel 6 for its price and it's close to where I usually end up working. And I have stayed at many Motel 6's across the West. But this time I chose to leave after one night of staying in this dirty room. Dirty being an understatement of course. I'm going to just list off the stuff in this DIRTY room instead of talking about it too much.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA -- On November 07 my wife and I call the reservation line and requested a room with a queen bed. We were told there was one at the Motel 6 1800 E Reno Oklahoma City. We arrived to find a FULL bed, not a queen. We dealt with this. We decided to check the bed and furniture, a habit we are into now. I attempted to lock our door, only to find the locks would NOT work. Upon more inspection, I found a number of other thing.

GALVESTON, TEXAS -- I reserved a room for 6/11 at the Galveston location with two beds for a family of 4 for our visit to Moody Gardens. When we arrived there at 11 am, I was told check in would be at 3 pm. I paid the $87.39 for the room and was told I could pick up the key when I returned after 3 and then we went to Moody Gardens.

KALAMAZOO, MICHIGAN -- We just got home after staying at Motel 6 in Kalamazoo, MI. for 3 nights. It was horrible, we reserved a room a few days ahead. The sidewalk was a sheet of ice and had not been salted, my son and niece fell, luckily neither got hurt, called the office, no apology just excuses to why it wasn't salted (the snow and ice had stopped coming down more than 12 hours before so they had plenty of time). They said they would be up to salt it right away, still wasn't done til the next morning.

Do not stay at 336 Henderson Chapel Rd - First of all when we arrived and got to our room it was supposed to be a non-smoking room but the whole motel smelled like cigarettes. The staff were standing outside the front entrance smoking. When we got in our room our sheets were soiled with body fluids and also our shower curtain had fecal matter on it. Our room was infested with spiders and stink bugs. The microwave and refrigerator were broken. You have to buy your shampoo and conditioner out of there snack vending machine. We had to buy ear plugs to sleep because of the dogs barking all night and loud people in the hallways.

My husband and myself paid for two nights at your motel and we will never stay again. 1st night air didn't work but we understood why. Then the shower wouldn't drain and it backed up. Then all night long the neighbor fought outside with her husband. 2nd day we left to go out and the office cancelled our key. And in the morning we couldn't even get a cup of coffee.

I stayed at the Motel 6 last night and the next day a generous person paid for the room for the next day. Having a gentlemen that was sick in the room it was very nice to do that. At 3 pm after receiving towels and service I got a call from front desk saying payment had not been made. This was after two employees assured it was paid. Girl at front desk was very rude and unprofessional to guest that was checking in also. Sad day for Motel 6, Santa Ana, CA and bad night for the guests that depend on it. Jim Ambrosia should really take a look at that place. Customer service should be priority one for Motel 6. Never again ever. Bulldoze it. Put a nice hotel in like Santa Ana deserve.

My husband called the local Motel 6 (912-283-3300) to find out what the room rate was for 1 person. The male on duty quoted the price as $39.99 + taxes. I went to the motel and paid CASH for our granddaughter to stay 2 nights. I signed in, but the female clerk did NOT give me a receipt. When I was paying I thought the price was wrong, but I was ill and ready to get back home. Upon my arrival at home I called Motel 6 to ask the female clerk where was my receipt. She said my granddaughter could get it the next morning.

I wish to express the horrible experience I had in the Motel 6 in Jackson Wyoming. I had no choice. I was in Jackson to write a review for a French paper and it was the only place available. I knew Motel 6 was not a 1st class Motel but I was in Jackson and I was thinking I could have an average Motel just to spend the night and spend my day for my reportage. No, it was not an average Motel. The room smelled so bad: mildew. We had to keep the door opened. I went to buy a spray cleaning. The sheets were not replaced. The room was so dark. I saw with horror dark hair in the bed, on the towels the next day. I went back to the office late in the evening and they were ignoring you.

Stopped off at the 301 I-40 East Shamrock, TX Motel 6 and was given room # 153. I practically needed a wrench to turn the shower knob which looked to be too small to manipulate. When I was finally able to get the knob to move, I could only get lukewarm water out of the shower. At $55 bucks I expect better.

Motel 6 has become a health threat to the traveling public due to the sheer negligence and arrogance of the "G6 Hospitality, LLC of Carrolton TX" ownership. Never have I been so offended so many times by stopped up showers, filthy floors, non-functional sink stoppers, rattling air-conditioners, dead bathroom ceiling fans, and I am personally insulted by their refusal to invest in their employees or their properties. I have been traveling for over thirty years and Motel 6 has deteriorated at each ownership change. With such run-down properties (don't get fooled by their bright "new" decor, it is just lipstick on the pig), they now attract local low-lifes up to no good.

Reynoldsburg, Ohio - I rented a room for my daughter and the bed smelled like BAD B.O. We asked about the amenities and there were supposedly heat/air and free coffee! The air did NOT work as they said it was on a single system either heat or AIR. This was never disclosed at time of check-in and payment. My daughter complained and asked for a refund as it was nasty and disgusting and dirty bed clothes as well as no air. They told her "open a window," which had NO screens. When she asked for a refund to go elsewhere they blatantly said NO!

I check in at Motel 6 Midtown in Savannah, GA on Sunday 9-27-2010. The first room - the bathroom was dirty with pee and hair on the TOILET and the mattress was mold. Then I move to the second room. The tub and toilet was nasty. So the lady at the desk gave me a spray bottle to clean it myself. I am very unhappy. I'M GOING TO CONTACT THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.

The Motel Six extended stay in Roswell GA is have a roach problem. I have been moved twice and each time the rooms have had roaches. I have complained to the front desk and have filed a report with guest relations, still each day three or four show up. Instead of dying they are multiplying. Either that or they are not spraying as I am being told. No motel should be allowed to operate under this condition. Motel Six slogan "we'll keep the lights on for you" - yeah do that, cause I need to see them roaches crawling up the walls when the lights are off. SMH. Motel Six reputation is at an all-time low; I can't say it's not deserved. It has become a safe haven for bums, degenerates, and prostitutes. It is no better than a sleazy motel that rents by the hour. The brand have lowered their standards and expect you, "the consumer" to lower yours. No thank you. I still expect my room to be clean and bug free.

Extreme poor customer service, staff is not friendly, there's always something yeast mudding from your room, like towels and pillows, no microwave or refrigerator, no shampoo or conditioner, and never fully clean. Location 2040 N Preisker Ln, Santa Maria, CA 93454.

Motel 6 on S Woodlands Village Blvd in Flagstaff! Only place that was available since it was a holiday weekend which is the only positive to the stay. The beds were rock hard and uncomfortable. The bathroom was designed horrible and tiny. The cable TV sucked as it only had about 25 channels and you have to pay for WiFi?! And if you have more than one device you have to pay for each one separate. Upon asking the front desk girl that was working, I asked, "Why does your competitors on either side of you offer free WiFi and we have to pay?" Whereas her response was, "Well that's how we keep our room rates so cheap. If we offer the WiFi for free, then we'd have to charge extra for the rooms." Yea, that's a load of crap!

The Motel 6 in Issaquah, WA is the worst I have stayed at. On 9/08/15, with my AARP discount I paid $80 for a room with no microwave nor refrigerator; the door handle was difficult to use/open; the room smelled like a chemical even through the morning (it literally upset my stomach); the heater doesn't work; there are no tv stations for Christians to watch; the front desk clerk didn't have the information of where the pet area is; during the night something (probably a spider) bit me five times on the scalp which left me with itchy welts and a headache.

We checked into a Motel 6 in Allentown, PA. on September 10, 2015. During the night when we turned a light on, we saw roaches crawling on the wall and in the room. I told the attendant about our experience as we checked out next morning. He act like he was surprised and said nothing. This was a very bad experience, our first day on vacation. We sure didn't want to pick up these nasty bugs in our clothes and things and take with us. I have stayed in Motel 6 many times before but it has been a while. In the past they were so nice and clean. What has happened? You need to change your logo and not leave a light on for customers or they will see the roaches crawling.

The room they assigned to us when we get in stink like dog pee, really bad. Pass to front desk - they give me a spray to spray in. We left, come back 3 hrs later, the smell still on the room. Pass again to front desk, ask for other room. They gave us other room and it was worst. Smell really bad. The comfort was dirty. I just don't recommended to anyone.

We had to pay for Wi-Fi and it was non-existent. We talked to management about it and they refunded our money without even caring about fixing the problem. Their attitude was one of "Oh well, deal with it." Next the rooms are TINY and the beds are way too small. Also the shower leaked all over the floor (the bathroom was way too small as well). The more rooms they can cram into a building, the more $$$ they can make. $60 for 3 people was a JOKE!

Paid for room around 9:15pm. Clerk gave us directions to restaurant & store - without visiting room, went directly to restaurant, went to Walmart & returned directly to hotel. Instantly upon entering room we observed many tiny roaches crawling on the walls. The bed linens were stained & floors were filthy as were the walls. I'm not sure of the substance on the walls but it resembled dried nose mucus (as in boogers). Unimaginable the bacteria or viruses that may have been present in that room. We went directly to the office where they would not/did not refund our money. After repeated detailed phone messages left at Motel 6 Corporate headquarters & Mr. **'s (Motel manager) voicemail, we have had no response.

Rented room, Motel 6, walked in first room and floors was very nasty, not been touched. Went to office, received another room. It was just as bad. Went back to office, requested broom and dust pan, and had to sweep floor and dusted tables and tv. Traveled 8 hours, wife got sick. So pulled off in Richmond VA across from Richmond International Airport. Wife was too sick to go somewhere else, so I'm staying at nasty Motel 6 with sick wife 10-21-15. Thank a lot Motel 6. Will probably never stay again.

I have never experienced such disrespect & racist behavior from a hotel. The general manager Syed **, entered my room as I was showering. And complained we need full-service cleaning. The past week we asked twice for cleaning & never received it. He told us that we cannot extended our stay for no specific reason. My boyfriend is African American & was completely disrespected by the general manager. The sheets are always yellow & dirty. There are bed bugs, and dog feces all over the property. He also tried to blame that on my dog. Which every time I take my dog out I ALWAYS pick it up. We are very clean, quiet people & are astonished by the utter disrespect & racist behavior of the staff especially the general manager and housekeeping.

I stayed at Motel 6 off Adams Dr. in Tampa, FL. We chose this hotel because half way in between Orlando and Sarasota and near highway. The area looked fine when checked in, only there for a few minutes then returned approx. 10:30 pm. When we arrived, there were people hanging outside, slamming doors until 3 am yelling. Definitely did not feel safe. An officer was parked in the lot. After no sleep, we left at 3 am. When leaving, a guy appeared on drugs just leaning on his door. Is the owner of Motel 6 even aware of what goes on? I will never stay at a Motel 6.

This Motel 6 is so nasty. I wouldn't let my dog stay here. My first room 122 smelled like pass and mildew. The carpets were nasty and lining was not clean. 1 towel and case rag for 2 people. Our room was switch to find blood on the pillows, the pillowcase, the curtains, and chair, like a crime investigation. We bought cleaner and cleaned the room ourselves. Housekeeping was very helpful by finding us clean pillows and sheets. Manager of this motel needs to be fired. Just nasty here.

The Motel 6 in Bremerton had a guest break a natural gas pipe on the building causing an explosion and fire destroying the end of the building and all of the personal property of several guests. The Motel 6 manager left the property and a clerk helped guests as best she could. The owners of Motel 6 and Corporate management would only use the Red Cross and other volunteers to help most of their guest. Several guests who lost all of their belongings in the rooms destroyed by the explosion things like vehicles, computers, phones, clothing were told by Motel 6 that they had no insurance to cover the guests loss's.

This place is such a sh!t hole. We we're corporate booked paid in full. There was a mistake in the booking. We we're supposed to be out by 11 am today. We get back from packing our both up. We see the windows in our room are open. Our door keys don't work. To top it all off our stuff has been cleared out. We go yo the front desk to get our stuff back and figure what's going on. The front desk refuses to give our stuff back. They told us to call corporate and then called the cops on us after we refused to leave. The cops said they couldn't do anything. The hotel said we'll have to come back at 7 a.m. to get our belongings. So now we have nothing but the clothes on our backs. I will never stay at a motel 6. Ever again. The cops were here every night. I had a cigarette burn in my bedding. This is the most messed up thing you can ever do to a guest. I've work at the Hotel Del, Paradise Point. We never treated gusts like this. I have never been more embarrassed in my life.

Was in a tough spot and ended up here with my fiancee. It was a nice room with wonderful staff. The security guard was nice, helpful and friendly. When walking into the lobby first thing I noticed was a sign on the counter that stated "In collaboration with local authorities, we require all occupants to show ID" rather annoying and a bit invasive I thought. We stayed on the second floor which felt and looked like it was slanting at an angle. The room..gross! The toilet seat had a melted plastic burn I'd assume from a cigarette. Non-smoking yeah right! The smell of cigarettes was so strong that in order to sleep I had to put my feather blanket over my head down to tips of my toes. Basically cocooned myself in a pocket. Even though the room had air conditioning it was never able to counteract the heavy cigarette humid air! The maid will knock on your door one hour before check out time(not exaggerating the time) which felt like we were being treated like children! "Ohhh, you checking out today?" She asked.. Walking to the car there was several random people scattered about the parking lot. One sitting on a curb with a shopping cart.. will never stay here again.

This motel is sketch. I mean, not the sketchiest I've been to. But I stayed for 3 nights, intending to stay a week, and then relocated. Pretty sure a prostitute asked me for a cigarette and then the guy who left the room after here stood there and stared at me for awhile. I felt unsafe and left the next day. Guess I can't expect much from a motel with 4 different types of locks on the door. Housekeeping was nice though.

The week I was there, a non-descript box truck parks next to my room after dark. Three guys in hoods start unloading unwrapped big screen TV's and leaning them against the fence. I called hotel front desk to find out if they were authorized to be there working at night, they did nothing, said nothing. I did not actually witness a crime, so I did not call police, however, these three were up to something NOT GOOD, so it was a sleepless night for me until about 2 AM when they finished up and drove off.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. The ONLY reason I am giving it 1 star is that SOME of the staff here do an awesome job given the poor work environment they have been given. The manager is a piece of crap and is probably cooking the books by refusing to rent rooms weekly even though the website promotes it. The staff can never get a hold of him and berates them in front of guests in the once a week visits he does at rhe hotel. The hotel is completely infested with roaches and stink bugs. Now I am finding extra charges on my credit card statement from my stay there that I will be disputing. The manager has no problem making sure the prostitutes in the area are taken care of in their rooms. I hope the owner reads this and I advise he do a complete investigation into what this so called manager has going on in this hotel. My advise.... STAY far away from this hotel!!!!!

Found Bed Bugs in room, Reported it to General Manager Andy Patel he got the maid to run in and scoop up all the bed clothes and they disappeared. Staff is awful!! The room itself wasn't so bad. Wasn't anything to write home about, but was clean enough. However the owner "Andy" Patel... If Andy is his real name. Was extraordinarily rude. Literally would not let me change rooms. The ac wasn't working. Just blowing air around. Not cold. He did finally come up there. He felt it and told me that was standard and it worked fine. Then they didn't clean my room and I needed new towels. I couldn't call the front desk because my phone didn't work in the room. So I walked all the way down there and the girl "Ann" was so rude and would not let me get towels. I actually offered her twenty dollars to just write a nite I had an extra towel in my room. I have a bad knee from surgery and they had me I the second floor. Who would want to steal those towels that feel like sand paper anyways?? I stay on hotels all the time. I'm paying to stay here. It's not prison. They're supposed to be hospitable. There is a college major for hotels and hospitality! It's a shame we can't have decent customer service in this country! The MOD Patty was very helpful at the front desk but other staff didn't speak alot of English so my request went unanswered. Overall it was ok for the price I paid.

This motel is very nasty and got a lot of drugs going through it and known as a very very hot spot for drugs and cockroaches and spiders and too much money for that hotel and Jefferson parish need to be shut down for clean up I would not recommend no one going over there if you got kids because it that bad and known as a drug and prostitute hot-spot and that motel is not safe for kids at all

Horrible we fount this motel off the map we were traveling to New Orleans for my birthday weekend we stayed at this motel 6 . First thing I did was take a shower I walked on the floor by the time I went to bed 20 minutes later my feet were literally black from the nasty floor . The mini fridges door was off the hinge had to rig it to shut it . Will not stay here again if I could give it no stars I would . Not worth 67.00 a night for hard as a rock bed neither

This motel is the worst I have ever seen in my entire life. The room is so dirty that I found a cockroach on the bed at night. And then I turned on the light and realized there were at least five cockroaches crawling on my backpack. There is something wrong with the toilet that it flushes by itself every five minutes and make noise that keeps you from falling asleep. The environment is bad, nothing like the pictures. Worst ever.

Stay somewhere else if you can, and yes, you can. The price is high, and they should have paid me to stay here. I literally found drug paraphernalia in my room. It was a collection of drug baggies, and a well - used pot pipe. In the room. Nobody cleaned my room even once, and I stayed there four nights. It wasn't safe. There were shady people everywhere, the staff knew about it, because I told them, and they wouldn't do anything about it. Somebody woke me up at 3 in the morning, banging on my door, and then ran off. If you want the Philly ghetto experience without having to drive into Philly, this is the place for you. Safety is a huge concern for this place. I should have called the police as soon as I got there about the pipe, but I was tired after a 700 mile drive. Let's hope I never stay in a place like this again.

Horrid rooms where you are uneasy about sitting in the chair, let alone sitting on the bed. It was so run down, loud, and shameful I drove 2.5hrs home to sleep in my own bed and 2.5hrs back in the morning... yes it was that bad, and I work in a steel mill so my expectations aren't that of some prissy!

The Desk people were extremely friendly. Staff was very accomondating.cleaning people doing a good job. the hotel itself is starting to look run down compared to how it was a year ago. Paint is chipping off of the walls around air conditioner unit. the units appear to be old and struggling. The bedding had holes in it. Pillows were on the sloppy side have seen better days. Been to lots of other Motel 6 and this is by far the one that is in the worst shape. Even the outside looks poor , as someone has hit the awning and there is a big damage spot. Also the ice machine. is upstairs and if one is disabled it is hard to get to the ice. Should be one on each floor. First appearances count. thank you . Teresa

last of our group checked in early a.m. during middle of last week, motel a bit old and rundown but is bigger and has more meeting space/non-operating kitchen dining room than our local one...were informed that construction/refurbishment in works so most of our negatives should be taken care of, though the worst part was the night check-in agent. he had food stains on his shirt and obvious chewing tobacco chunk in his mouth, i could barely understand what he was saying and the spittle didn't help. He LICKED HIS FINGERS while giving us change and paperwork. got out of there as soon as i could and BATHED my license, room card, etc. in hand sanitizer. if staff is this grungy how bad must rooms be? the guy stated that he lived on site and would come to our room if our TV didn't work...no thanks buddy!!!!

Found myself with a last minute change in travel plans. I was traveling with my dog (a labrador retriever) and needed a hotel that would accept him. I started calling no-name hotels in the area and they wouldn't even talk to me when I asked about the dog. After a google search for hotels in the area, I caled this Motel 6 because they were the closest to my travel area. The staff was super friendly and they were very flexible with the dog. The room was small, but it was clean. I would highly recommend this place for anyone with pets or anyone needing a clean cheap room. Anytime I am in the area again and need a hotel, this will be my first and only choice.

Stayed there the other night for a wedding. It was terrible. Smelt bad, everything was dirty. The bed sheets had toy trucks on it, like it was meant for children. The under sheets where stained a very desturbing colour. The shower looked like it had never been clean before. Not to mention how dirty the floor was.. I felt gross even keeping my shoes on. Will never stay there again nor recommend it to anyone else. Take your money else where.

We rolled up here at 4AM, every place booked. We expected to pay too much money for any room, and when we got here, we paid around $104 for two beds in a room. The attendant was extremely nice, even warning us about an animal he saw on the monitors as we were leaving to get our things. The rooms were outdated, but fantastically functional. Everything you need. It was perfectly clean, some bumps in the wall, but clean. The matresses were brand new and so comfy (especially at 4am). I would come here first if ever in Peterborough again.

I always stay here while visiting Peterborough due to the inexpensive rates and it's convenient proximity to the trails. At times I find the rooms are not the cleanest, and I have had issues with stained sheets and flies buzzing against the windows in the summer, there have been issues with noise as well, however apart from that I enjoy my stays and will always stay there while in Peterborough.

Clean, bed was comfortable. No coffee/tea in the room so very disappointing that the only hot beverage vending machine only offered the 'free' small coffee in the morning even when you were willing to pay for something else. The desk clerk tried to help but since the machine is serviced by an outside source there was no resolution. This is pretty basic that people will want coffee or tea before they hit the road to go back to wherever they came from, or continue on their journey.

We will never stay at a Motel 6 again. We reserved a room a month ago, and got stuck in the accessible room. The shower head was broken, and kept falling down and hitting us in the head, we woke up to our floor being soaking wet....as though someone dumped water on the floor, there was no shampoo in our room, there was no ice, we had what seemed like a double bed, shoved against the wall. Definitely NOT worth the $100/night. Do yourself a favour, and stay at the Best Western or Holiday Inn. I would give them zero stars.

Pet friendly meant my 2 neighbors had dogs that howled and barked all night and you could hear them running around in the hardwood floors. My CPAP machine the next day reeked of smoke. I called around 6 pm to inquire if they had any one bed two person non smoking beds and Tausif munir ( he claimed to be the manager) said yes. So I booked it. I called to confirm and they had the reservation. I show up at 11 pm and I ask to see the room first to ensure its clean. "No. We do not do that here. ". Weird but whatever. Never had I had a problem making sure the room was clean but okay. It's late and we want sleep. We pay and go upstairs. Room 228. The door is open. You can clearly tell from the middle of the hallway. And it smells of smoke. I ensured it was smoke free when booking and confirming. We walked into the room and I almost had an asthma attack. I went back to reception and asked to be switched. No. But he'll refund me. Can you clean the room so it doesn't smell? It doesn't. It's a non smoking. Tell that to my asthma. Can you spray something so I don't choke? Nope. That's not his job. Tausif munir was extremely rude and sexist. Refused to look me in the eye. Said there are no more available rooms and that they are all booked. Funny, online they still had room. So I call a male I know and he calls to inquire about rooms. Yes. Tausif munir has rooms for the male calling but not for the female asking in his lobby at 1130 at night. I started feeling very disrespected and threatened by Tausif munir and asked to speak to a manager. He said he is all I can speak to. I told him I have asthma and feel sick and that we booked a room to stay. No. Leave. Aren't we paying you?! He was rude, disrespectful, sexist, and on a power trip. All while this is happening, he is answering phone calls and telling people that he has rooms available. But not for me. A gentleman came in and got another room right in front of me. I told him I feel faint and may pass out. Nope. Leave. While already having my money in his hand!!! He refused to accommodate a white woman. Simply disgusting. Never been treated so unfairly. Will make sure corporate hears of this. He lied to corporate, ADAM from OHIO when he called. LIAR!

My reservation was made for Monday. When I arrived, I was informed that I didn't have a reservation and I had been charged for a no show on Sunday. Though I spelled my name and gave my ID, my receipt and your email have my last name wrong. When I got into bed, I layed down on what appeared to be crumbs. Upon further investigation, I was lying on sheets covered in dirt and a toenail. I changed my own sheets. I kept the dirty sheets to show the day staff. There was a drip of blood on the wall next to the toilet paper roll, the hand towel was stained with eye make-up and some other brown stain. The door frame next to the light switch in the bathroom has brown stains (I hope just dirt). I have pictures to share. I am a Scout Leader, sportsman and veteran. So, trust me I have stayed in some pretty disgusting environments. But, I have not seen so many blatant issues in a hotel. After so many aweful issues with my stay, I received no call, follow up, refund offer, no anything. The lack of care expressed in the room permiates your customer care process, or lack thereof.

Motel itself was very nice and had everything we need, the staff was friendly, and just about everything seemed to work. However, this motel is pet-friendly. This isn't a bad thing on it's own, but there was a dog in a room on our floor that did not stop barking the entire night which led to virtually no sleep. There was also several extremely loud guests in the room next to ours that continued well into the morning. Motel itself is great (some things are broken and should be fixed),but if you want to stay here please bring some earplugs.

Decent stay. Until the housekeeper barged into my room and told me that I need to listen more. I was then argued with about whether I paid 2 nights or not which I did, yet she was forcing me to leave at noon on my first night. The fact that she argued with me over many things when I'm the guest wasn't right. Maybe they should have an updated list with the duration of time guests will be staying. That treatment was ridiculous and I won't be returning. Customer service?? A big go f*ck ur self

We stayed at this Motel 6 for a few nights. I'm pretty sure we had police in the parking lot each night of our stay, 1 of those nights they were having a loud conversation with one of the guests (the guests were loud, not so much the police). One of the nights we were there it rained pretty hard and there was a distinct smell of urine that I could smell from just outside my room on the 2nd floor. The good is that this place has some fast food places within a few minutes walk of its location. I would not come back to this location myself.

Don't judge a book by its cover. Based on the other reviews, I was prepared for the worst and ended up being presently surprised. The building on the outside has some cracks and older looking parts, but over all was clean. There were no druggies in the parking lot, there really wasn't even any garbage. The room has very clean and even had a nice theme. And NO bed bugs, no bugs or rodents of any kind. If you are looking for the 5 star experience, this isn't for you. The rooms are not fancy and elegant. Howerver, if you are looking for an inexpensive, clean place to stay, then it's perfect. Remember, you get what you pay for

Well for starters there was suppose to be a pool but apparently it was out of commission still at the end of May. The bathroom was disgusting, there were burn holes in the sheets of a "non smoking" room, the ice machine did not work, the air conditioning stopped working after the first night, the TV kept cutting out, we couldn't get on the internet using the Wifi and the mattress about as comfortable as gravel. I felt like I was at the crime scene of a hooker who got murdered.

One of the best, if not the best Motel 6 I've ever stayed at. It was previously a Best Western and I don't know when they changed hands but when you walk in the motel you can smell fresh paint. They were working on the exercise equipment room while we were. The handouts in the room displayed a pool on the first floor but we couldn't find one (perhaps that was part of Best Western.) The room we stayed in was VERY modern and nice. It was clean and had a nice mounted flat screen tv. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The only downside that I can remember was the "laundry" was a washer and dryer sitting in the hallway next to the ice machine. Kind of odd but whatever.

Decent hotel, with very comfortable beds. We stayed for 3 nights while taking part in the State Games of America and although we booked pretty close to event found reasonable priced rooms close to our event field (Archery). The rooms were clean but fairly sparse, the wooden floors made the room feel like a dorm room to me. Loved having microwave and fridge with small freezer compartment but missed not having coffee-making facilities. Coffee is served in the lounge between 6-10 am. Breakfast is not included, but we easily breakfasted in the room at the table provided. I would recommend this hotel to anyone needing a cheap place to stay in Lincoln. 5* for the price, cleanliness, and comfortable bed!!

I stayed at this motel in April 2016. The front desk staff were exceedingly pleasant - be aware you need a valid U.S. driver's license or a passport. Of note: - the room was scrubbed clean and smelled great - carpet was groomed - there were hard water stains in the bathtub / shower (I don't consider that an issue) - the beds were clean and I saw no evidence of any bugs The rooms do not have microwave, hair dryer, microwave. This is a simple budget room that is clean, affordable, and actually pretty well sized. The T.V. is small, but right by the bed, so I had no problem watching it. And - what a plus - it had closed captioning. The WiFi is paid (2.99 or 4.99 / 24h option). I had the 4.99 option and it was the best hotel internet I've ever had - even amongst some 5-star hotels in other cities. The hotel is down the road from Texas Children's Hospital. If you need reasonable lodging (I rented the room through Expedia for $40/night) where you plan on being at the hospital intermittently, this hotel is for you. It is easy to walk to Texas Children's from there. The taxi ride from the airport is about $11-15. My Uber rides to downtown (art museum, ball park) were $5-6. Very good, simple, reasonable motel.

I am totally disgusted with the service we got at this hotel. We made reservations days in advance. When we got there they had given my room to someone who said that they were me the hotel was sold out. I was on business trip and we didn't get there until 11 and we had to be up at 7. Well we had to wait for the lady at the desk to call people to see if they were going to cancel their reservation. Luckily someone did so we got the room after waiting quite a while. Once we finally gotta our room it was two separate full beds instead of a king which was what we were supposed to get. That ended up being good for us because the first one I turned down there was a blood stain. Luckily the other one did not have that issue. If there would have been anywhere else near us that wasn't sold out we would have left and gone there. I do not recommend this hotel for anyone. After everything we went through they didn't even apologize. I dedicate how expensive other hotels are from now on I will gladly pay the difference. I thought I would give them a try despite their reputation. I was sadly mistaken and will never make that mistake again.

NO HOT WATER! Was told at check in a new water heater was being installed in the building and would be up and running in a couple of hours. Next morning (18 hours later), no hot water, and no indication when or if it would be working. Had I been informed there was any chance the system would not be working, I would have booked elsewhere. Beyond that, the building is showing it's age, and is not especially clean: elevator filthy, bathroom door, full of black fingerprints. Coffee in the AM, terrible (nothing else for breakfast provided). Noisy place too; loud voices in the hallway, barking dogs in the next room...you get the picture. Price for two nights (I hope to cancel the second) $128.68 about the price of 1 night at the MUCH nicer Holiday Inn next door (yes, stayed there too). Lesson learned: you get what you pay for.

My experience with this nasty hotel was horrible!!!! After spending 7 days in this rat trap and i do mean rat trap literally( I really had mice in my room) I went to the front desk to express my dissatisfaction and also filed a complaint at the website which told me that because it was "privately owned" there was nothing they could do, but they would urge the general manager to contact me personally. Well after he never did and I paid a total of $752 for a week's stay the general manager informed me that he would reimburse me $33.75 which I told him was unacceptable, but he turnrd around and put it in my account anyway. However, they only changed my room for 6 hours of my 7 day stay and the put my out, but before they did that they gave me a key to a room that was already occupied and when I walked in the occupants were having sex, needless to say they were furious with me and I was totally embarassed!!! Then the put in a room that cost less than the room had previously been in, however they still charged me the same price. Now I ask you and the Corporation that allows people like this to fly their flag is this any way to treat your guests? And when do you get involved even if it is "privately owned"? I believe if they fly your flag then it is a reflection on YOU, therefore YOU cheated as well as THEY cheated me a VETERAN who was moving into his apartment out of his hard earned money and also caused him to end up in the emergency room for an asthma attack caused by mice leavings. Sincerly John W. Gentry Veteran

Well it's a roof over your head but for the rate they charge not worth it, trash and room service supposed to be done twice a week stayed there 3 weeks and was done once. If your vehicle doesn't lock and you don't want your sh** walking off better take it in the room with you its a "scavengers playground" for thieves, and NO Grilling!! What harm is it gonna do to cookout really? Only thing I can think of is people would be saving money other than that rooms are up to date and fairly nice when they get cleaned

There was nothing I liked about it. It began when I tried to call the hotel directly to book my room (in town for a family funeral). The staff was so rude I couldn't dare giver her my credit card information. Therefore she gave me the 1-800 number to call. We arrived to the hotel no not have no cell phone reception. My mother pull back the sheets on her bed to only find a huge stain on it. I called front desk requesting to change her sheets. The maid came and said... oh that's not a dirty it's a bleach stain. Bleach stain doesn't leave a huge black stain ring. Her blanket on the bed was full of huge burn holes. We took it off the bed. Called the front desk at 8 am to ask for more towels...never will I do that again. Front desk told me I couldn't get any until maid service comes in to do laundry at 9am. I called back at 9am for her to tell me she has arrived and now I had to wait until she wash them. Needed to be at the funeral home at 10:30. Thank goodness for Dollar Tree opened at 8am. I bought shower sponges and towels!!!! The maid bring fresh towels at 3:00. If it wasn't a family circumstances I would had requested my money back and I will never stay there again.

I didn't actually stay the night at this location. My fiance and I arrived at around 2am on the 19th of March, looking for something very inexpensive. At $85.99 there really was nothing comparable. I paid, and we went to the room. Yes, the jokes about Motel 6 were true - the room was baron minus a bed and two night stands. We initially laughed it off, but as we began to turn lights on it became very clear the room hadn't been cleaned in months. There were obvious hand and finger markings all over the bathroom and main room walls in various shades of red. Not blood, I assume, but seriously off putting. I mean, if this is how dirty things we can see are, imagine the areas hidden from sight. My primary concern was bedbugs, but my inspection of the bedding and mattress left me feeling a bit better, as someone had clearly washed the sheets and there were no signs of bugs. What made us ultimately vacate and demand a refund were the two used condoms I happened upon under the bed, just a few feet underneath the pillows. The clerk attending the desk looked embarrassed when I informed him of the situation, but not surprised (which might be the most concerning element to this story). He granted us a full refund and we went on our way. I will never, ever, consider Motel 6 again, and if asked I would advise even my enemies to stay elsewhere. Seriously, embarrassing for a company in 2016.

The rooms were recently updated and it looks nice in there. But the room we had was not cleaned. We ended up leaving. The tub and shower were horrible. We filled the tub and turned on the Jets and the water turned dark. For obvious reasons the bed sheets look like they had not been changed in weeks. We definitely will not be returning.

Rooms were decent and clean. I paid $80 tax in for a room with two beds. Reception was okay, though the guy that works during the day was a bit short with me. WiFi works, just don't take rooms toward the end if this is important to you. Beds were okay, pillows are flat and don't smell the greatest. Breakfast was not included, which is advertised online. Also there's nothing around especially if you don't have access to a car.

I stayed here while hunting for an accommodation in Metro-Detroit area on the previous weekend. Very helpful staff, its a family run business and the manager actually helped me in my quest too by giving me good advice too. When i entered, i had a very warm welcome, rooms were clean and very nice. Everything was in order and floors were cleaned. I saw the house-keeping clean the rooms and change the sheets everyday. The outside of the motels was clean too. I called the front desk for internet information and they helped very nicely. On Saturday night i had trouble finding a parking spot since it was a full house, asked the owners and they got rid of their car to let me park. Rather i called them a couple of times during the night too for places to eat and they were very courteous. When leaving the owner returned my deposit that i had paid initially, no issues with that either. All in all good experience and will likely stay here again.

We didn't realize we were getting a smoking room (which it turns out was all they had available), and the room smelled worse than any room we've ever encountered. Cigarette burn marks everywhere, no amenities (no fridge, microwave, clock, shampoo, hair dryer, small poor-quality TV), and the smoke smell was overwhelming. Everything we brought into the room reeked of smoke after we left, even clothing that we never took out of our suitcases. Beds not very comfortable, cramped bathroom, and we spent almost $500 for 3 nights! The young lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, which was the only positive thing I can say about the entire experience.

Your comment is awaiting moderation. I’m very concerned regarding a stay I had at the Motel 6 at 1047 Progress, in Meridian, ID. My sister and I were traveling and stayed at this motel on 2/7/2015. We were awoke at about 11:00 PM with a dog whining and barking. My sister went to the office and reported it to the girl there and was told she would let the owners know, not even knowing what room. She simply walked in back to an office, I assume. After a few minutes the barking stopped. Soon after we could hear loud talking or arguing and after this we just stayed in our room for fear of not knowing what we could expect. We did not feel safe. We had an opportunity to talk with a local there and were told that drugs were being run from that location. My concern is that location has my credit card information, and if this is true, well you can figure out the rest. I know I won’t be staying there again as I make frequent visits to that area. Claresholm is a lovely community, and the staff at Motel 6 are outstanding. I was here on business for just over 2 weeks and the ladies took such good care of myself and my dog. Price was all right, and the staff were friendly.....But..... No internet in the outermost rooms. Had to go to the lobby to get a signal. Heat was turned off in the room when we arrived and the room took an hour to get to comfortable temperature. The heater was so loud we had to shut it off to sleep, but then the room temperature plummeted and we were unable to sleep due to the cold. No extra sheets in the room, and only 2 THIN sheets on the bed. The room that the complimentary breakfast was served in had no heat, and apparently hasn't for the last month. No food was set out because they didn't think anyone would be down for breakfast!!! Desk girl set out bread for toast and milk and orange juice. No waffle mix, or fresh fruit, and the orange juice was stale. Bathroom was dirty, and tv control was broken. This motel is an absolute joke, and should be avoided. Try the other places in town, such as The Bluebird Motel, or the Lazy J Motor Inn. We have stayed at both these places and they are way nicer than Motel 6

WiFi was pathetic, kept disconnecting and couldn't watch YouTube or anything. Tvs in rooms were small and had no TV Guide, had to flip thru channels (it's like they think we are still in the 2000's). They had a waffle maker and syrup, but whoops no batter so you had a choice of cereal and toast with only 1 type of jam. Bathroom fan didn't work so rust was on the light fixture. No in room coffee or tea. I normally stay at a hotel in Calgary for the same nightly rate and it is much nicer. I probably won't be staying here again. The rooms were clean though I'll give them that.

Clean, clean, clean! Thank you for dissapointing me ;) by that, I mean not living up to my expectations of a "cheap" hotel. Your customer service was amazing, the room was CLEAN, and Cute! We run across the country multiple times a year and try to drive straight thru. When we can't due to weather or other reasons, it's only for less than 6 hours in the middle of the night. Very unusual set up. No closets, no drawers to put anything away. No fridge, microwave, coffee pot of shampoos in the room.its literally just a bed with waterproof sheets, a TV and towels. I was upset that the only available rooms were on the second floor because they don't have an elevator so it's not handicap accessible. So it was difficult to get up and down the stairs and one of my friends had to wait for me while I brought things to my room because she's in a wheelchair, and of course I had the room around the corner all the way at the end of the building so that made things worse. I they're pet friendly but they have unusual grain floors which my pets kept slipping and falling down. The shower was smaller a size but water pressure was good. You definitely get your money's worth here. I'm not sure if they have breakfast and I wasn't given a WiFi password so I'm not sure how well that works. It is a newly remodeled hotel on one side but it's cheaply done and it's noticeable.

We booked a room a week in advance, got our confirmation #, and was told as long as we got there before 6p.m. our reservation would hold.We got there shortly after 5 & were told they didn't have our room because it was first come first serve basis. The front desk staff seemed weary of having to say this, but said there was nothing they could do but offer a smoking room. We decided to check it out and ended up staying because the room was so well cleaned we couldn't tell it was a smoking room. The front desk staff apologized for this policy, and gave us free wifi ( that normally has a charge). It's a great location, right on a bus line, good brew pub next door. I would stay again but check in as early as possible. Upstairs is probably quieter than downstairs.

Dirty, Dirty, Dirty!!! We almost felt cleaner not taking a shower then showering here. We were afraid to sleep in the sheets. We barely slept on the sheets. The curtains and the comforters are ripped. The sink base was broken. The air conditioner could NOT keep up with the small room we had. We were dripping sweat! We then asked to change rooms. Yet still the second room was in disarray. There was a used wash cloth in the shower when we first walked in the room. There was soap scum on the bath tub proving they haven't cleaned it in a while. Pearls from a broken necklace all over the bathroom floor. It seems they don't sweep. The window doesn't seem installed properly. It was "shut" but we could still feel air coming in from the outside. The phone has grime all over it. This was our vacation. It was supposed to be nice and relaxing. Instead we spent the night in fear of bed bugs. We woke up with sore backs from the beds. We froze because of the inadequate heating / cooling system. We woke up tire from the terrifying experience. No one should be subjected to staying in that place. I would not wish it on my worst enemy. I have pictures to prove the disgusting environment. We did talk to the receptionist and ask for a discount. The maid either threw out or kept my laptop charger cord that is $125 to replace. The woman at the front desk (Manager/Owner?) was too incredibly rude, unprofessional and incompetent to get an answer as to whether the maid found it or what. So I sat in the rain in my car for over 2 hours, and already 90 minutes away waiting to find out if I should drive back to get it or not - Finally I had to call again to the Manager who, knowing my situation of sitting in a car waiting on her, wasted my entire morning on vacation and I'm out a $125 laptop charger. Normally housekeeping in hotels turn in anything they find so I was surprised. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Horrible experience!!!

This is by FAR the worst motel I have ever stayed in. Actually, I didn't even stay in the room for more than two minutes. My husband and I were looking for a motel that was reasonable on pricing and close to the hospital where I plan on delivering our baby. (I'm 9 months pregnant) We needed a room to stay in for the evening as we were having work done on our house and had to stay away for the evening. My husband went in and asked for pricing and the gentleman that was working told him it would be $68 for the night. That was a little more than we wanted to pay being that we would only be sleeping there for the evening for a few hours. As my husband told him thank you and was walking out of the door to leave, the gentleman stopped him and said he would rent the room to us for $60 with not tax included. We decided that we would take the room. We gathered out belongings and 2 year old out of the car and went up to our room. As soon as we walked in the room, I smelled something so bad that it almost made me vomit. As I went into the bathroom to check things out, the first thing i noticed was the bathroom counter, sink, and toilet all had stains on them as if they had been burned by cigarettes. I immediately noticed several roaches scattering on the floor. We were in the room long enough to sit our belongings on the nightstand when my husband and I both looked at each other and said, we're not staying here, this is absolutely filth. My husband wouldn't even let our 2 year old out of his arms to put him down. We went downstairs and told the gentleman how disgusting the room was and that we would just like a refund and we would go find another motel to stay at. He was hesitant at first and said he would switch our room and my husband and I both refused and demanded our money back immediately. He ended up apologizing for the "inconvenience" and refunding our money back. We ended up going to Days Inn on I40 and Meridian for the same price and the room there was in great condition. Clean, didn't smell, and no roaches. I would NEVER recommend Motel 6 on I44 and May. If you do chose to stay at that motel, please bring a bottle of bleach and several cans of roach repellent.

GROSS!! Burn holes and discolored bed covers. Vanity actually falling off wall. Bathroom floor sticky and dirty. Coffee in lobby tasted like it had been made from mop water but I doubt they own a mop. Hall and outside are nice, but once you get to the rooms it is different. It had the basics in place but could use some updating, cleaning and overhauling.

Stayed at the new Kingston Motel 6. Very nice, new, well appointed. The blankets were a little thin, but it was the coldest night of the year, so we couldn't really complain.

Without carpeting it was quite cold on the feet and the beds were a bit hard but at the same time the price was great!

Not a great stay but it did the trick for a night. I surely would not have wanted to stay any more than that though. The rooms are poorly furnished and noisy. The lack of carpeting likely does reduce the amount of dirt and possibility of mold but there is a trade off in the amount of noise from room to room. The biggest complaint I have is that the site advertises an outdoor pool but there isn't one on site. I wouldn't have been so upset if it was off season and the pool was empty but false advertising really upsets me. (note ; Amenities list has been revised since my comment was posted. Customer service was clearly sorry for the misunderstanding and quickly took the steps to correct the error with their webpage.)

Newly renovated with laminate dark wood flooring and flat screen tv. Looks clean and affordable for Napa at $101 on a Saturday night. Old bathroom tile with yucky grout but strong hot shower.

Stayed here last year for an overnight visit to wine country and had a very pleasant experience, however, this location has gone downhill in the past year. There were transients loitering on the property, people drinking in the parking lot on plastic lawn chairs, and I'm pretty sure there was a drug deal taking place in the parking lot when our uber dropped us off after dinner. We are pretty laid back and easy to please when it comes to budget accommodations but we felt very unsafe and won't be visiting this location again.

We were really excited to find this place, but were extremely disappointed at the lack of customer service. I called and asked about their pet policy; the woman who answered the phone told me that our three small dogs would allowed. We arrived the next day and I let them know we had dogs as the signs said to do so. A woman behind the counter overheard me stating that we had three dogs. She said that the maximum was two. When I told her that I called the night before and the woman who answered the phone said that 3 dogs would be ok, she became passive aggressive. She told me that I should have checked the web site. I did check the website and that is why I called as it did not state a number of pets. She insisted that the number of pets allowed was on the web site although I was staring at their website on my phone. Regardless, why would I have had to check the website when I called them? As soon as I entered the room, I looked up the website on my computer to triple check and there was no amount of pets listed. She made an "exception" for me with the dogs. The next day at checkout, I told the woman at the front desk that I was very upset that she was so insulting. I did everything I was supposed to do and yet she blamed me, the customer, for not checking something that did not exist. The woman told me that she would talk to the manager who had spoken to me like that. I let her know that if I did not receive a call apologizing for the treatment, I would share my feedback. I never received the call.

Our experience at this motel was something straight out of a sitcom. The experience was hilariously terrible. We were greeted in the lobby by a single associate. The check-in process took much longer than expected, despite having reservations. When she finished, she told us we could use the elevator, but should probably take the stairs, because people get stuck in the elevator and it breaks down a lot. When we got to our rooms, via the stairwell, the beds looked like wrecking balls had been resting on them. They were sunken in and lumpy. The sheets on the bed had red stains all over them. We flipped the mattress up to see exactly what kind of filth we were dealing with and were unsurprised to find a very fuzzy mattress, covered in human hair and who knows what else. The bathrooms (we had 2 rooms booked) were absolutely disgusting and didn't have any amenities. The bathtub looked like someone didn't wipe well, then sat on the edge of it and vomited into the tub, and then tried unsuccessfully to clean it up. The bathtub in our second room had a weird, sticky film all over it. The sink in one of the rooms had pubic hairs around the counter. (I wish I was kidding). We escaped our mot-hell after about an hour. The nail in the coffin was when we noticed the lock on one door (probably the door that everyone says is really hard to open; you really did have to put in some work to open that thing) was loose and completely broken on another. The door with the broken lock also had crow bar marks on it and the door was very obviously damaged due to a break in. Never. Ever. Ever. Stay in this motel unless you are doing some Fear Factor challenge or lose a bet or something. The only good thing I can say about the place is that we did receive a full refund.

If I could give this disgusting hotel negative stars I would. The staff is extremely unprofessional they don't do their job in fact they brought me a vacuum cleaner and sheets and told me I would have to do it myself because it was time for her to clock out. The room I was in had roaches the bathtub had mold I reserved a two night stay but was only there for maybe a total of an hour. We asked for refund and did not get it. We left because we have a child whatever the smell was in the room caused everyone's lungs and throats to burn. The reviews that are good on this site were probably written by some of the people that hang around with the trashy looking employees this place should be condemned it has so much mold that there is no way you could ever get rid of all of it. If you decide to go to Jacksonville and you only choice is motel 6 on Dunn Avenue do yourself a favor sleep in your car at least in it your do not have to worry about getting second hand drug exposure. I have stayed in a few motel 6 rooms and have never seen a hotel in any place as nasty as this place. The Motel 6 franchise should be ashamed to even have this place open I definitely learned my lesson on staying in any motel 6 ever again.

First time visiting Jacksonville Florida for vacation. Made the mistake of booking a room and I have stayed at a Motel 6 before and have had a pleasant experience. The Motel 6 from hell on Dunne Ave should not be listed on any Booking sites for lodging. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a Motel 6 the rooms smelled they didnt have any of the amenities that would come in the rooms bathroom was disgusting had to buy my own soap cleanser and air freshner etc the staff very unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy!

1) Non smoking room REEKED of smoke. 2) Bulbs missing from lamps or didn't work. 3) Smoke detector dangling from wall without batteries making extremely loud chirping sounds. 4) Went to office asking for maintenance. No maintenance. 5) Asked to be moved. Was told they were completely sold out. 6) Given batteries for smoke detector. Couldn't put them in. Finally left and drove 3 1/2 hours home arriving at midnight rather than stay there. Nothing negative to say about staff except I feel bad for them. I'd like to meet the owner and give him/her a piece of my mind, but he/she would prefer to put their employees on the front lines to do the damage control. Orbitz and other booking sites should drop this property from their offerings. Other Motel 6's have been OK.

Can I Please Give this Place 0 stars? I struggled getting the door opened. After 2 minutes of struggling, I opened the door and I have no idea what that smell was but it was so horrifying that i actually vomitted on the carpet.. i then saw a roach come out of the bed. Um.... okay that's scary. The bed sheets have stains on them and let's not even get started with the bathroom.... it is unbelievably horrifying. There are moldy stains and hair in the bathtub. The toilet doesn't even look like it's been cleaned in weeks. Congrats Motel 6...your hotel scares me enough to the point that i dont mind being homeless for a night and going to a park and sleeping on a bench.

The room was very nice. My sister stayed in a different room and it was very much more updated and "pretty" than mine, but they're in the middle of updating all of the rooms, so I was happy. This motel 6 is awful and if motel 6 has any consideration for their brand name then they would shut this place down. If you value your safety and want a good nights sleep you do not want to stay here. There was gang and drug activity going on all night at this motel 6. At one point in time I considered leaving and sleeping in the car at a safer location. We got almost no sleep and left to the airport as early as possible to get out of this motel.

Before I start, one star is overly generous... When I investigated possible motels to stay in this weekend, I read the reviews first and foremost. I should have heeded the warnings... This was the worst motel I have ever had the misfortune to stay in. The floors were sticky, the bedcovers and sheets were stained and the room smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. The people hanging around the motel were shady to say the least and the police were there more than once. The soda machines were out of order, as was the clothes dryer, the water pressure in the shower was akin to showering under a light mist. After the shower, I used a towel to stand on and when I picked it up, it was filthy on the bottom. I suppose I should be grateful that the spider we found in the bed the next morning was a dead one. DO NOT STAY HERE! Even for a night! I think we slept a total of 4 hours, and got out as soon as we could the next morning. I thought Motel 6, being a large chain, would offer better than this. NEVER AGAIN!!

Neighborhood was scary, Service was awful, rooms were filthy, carpets were wet but not clean, other guests were insane. Next door neighbor sitting in front of our room harassing us. This doesn't even deserve a star. This was the worst night ever. We asked for a non smoking room. Get to the room and it smelled awful. Called the front desk and asked for more towels and I was told they were out of towels. Really out of towels you got to be kidding me a motel with no towels. The tv looked like it was made back in 1940. Couldn't find the remote to the tv. Called and asked about the remote "well you will have to come and get the remote." And get this the desk clerk sent a paper so we could program the remote with the tv. Really! Oh let me tell ya about the beds. Those beds well really really hard. Really awful. We took one of the mattresses and put on top of the other one and that did help a lil bit. Oh and get this under the mattress was a open condom pack. Gross. I thought they cleaned these rooms. But Oh my God they were still so hard I do believe I would have been better off sleeping on the floor. We were so sore and hurting in our backs and all over. Up and down all night because of how hard the beds were. There were lots of activity going on outside all night. I didn't dare go outside to walk my lil dog alone, it was to unsafe. Garbage was over flowing over where you get the ice, that was nasty. They have a pool but decided not to get in not sure what could have been in the pool(needles) due to All of the wrong activity going on never know what could have been in the pool. The desk clerk couldn't have been any less helpful if they even tried.Told the desk clerk about everything and she was like oh well. But it's understandable that this place is like this because of where it is and what kind of people works there. For only $10.00 more we went to Country Hearth Inn & Suites. We highly recommend you going to Country Hearth Inn & Suites they are located on Mill Brach Road just right down the street from this hole.We pack out belonging and got the F*** outta there. When we walked into the Country Hearth it was like walking into heavens doors. PLEASE PLEASE don't go to MOTEL6 you WILL regret it. And to those that are giving great reviews you are lying.

It's laughable how poorly this attempted stay went. After booking online and noting that we would be bringing a small dog, we arrived after driving 6.5 hours only to be told there wasn't a dog ready room for us. The woman behind the counter was very kind and helpful and called to manager/franchise owner to see what could be done. I was put on the phone with the manager who said it was our fault we didn't make it clear enough that we would be traveling with a pet. I disagreed and showed the woman behind the counter the confirmation email we received with the request for our pet to stay. She agreed we did everything right and was unsure why there was an issue. I asked the manager for her name, but she said, "That's not your business to know" so I asked the woman behind the counter who I was speaking to, and she said "Diane" so I replied to the woman on the phone, "Ok Diane" and she screamed, "That is not my name" and demanded we give the phone back to the woman checking us in and told her we were not allowed to stay there anymore. So we left and drove a half hour to another hotel that was more than willing to house us and our dog despite the short notice. So, if you plan on bringing a pet, double, maybe triple check that they know you'll be bringing one so you won't have to deal with Diane.

DO NOT STAY IN THE RV PARK!!! It is dirty and in a state of disrepair. The electrical post was rotted and broke when we plugged in. The water was not turned on when we were told that we would have full hook up. We still had to pay full price. The water pipe was tied to a stake with an old rope. The owner contacted us after our stay and wanted our credit card info (we paid with debit) to charge us $100 for "damages" to fix the broken post that was rotten because of his neglect. When we wouldn't pay, he charged our relative who had booked the site with a credit card. He claimed the total bill was $165!! Extortion Motel. We had a look in one of the rooms to see if it would be suitable for an elderly relative - very unclean and very unsuitable for anyone!!! If it would be possible to click no stars I would have.

This review is for the Motel 6, located at 1401 Blomfield Ave in Baltimore MD. My employer put me and my coworker up in this hotel so we could make it into work during the snowstorm (our company policy states two people must be in the office at all times, 24/7/365). Just looking at this motel, it isn't very appealing to the eye. It is tucked back off the road, at the bottom of a hill. When I got into my room, there were a few things I noticed right away. My TV didn't work, the floors were sticky, and I was missing the fleece sheet on my bed. I also noticed that the bathroom had no shampoo. When I called the front desk, I was told i needed to provide my own shampoo, as this was not something they offered. To make matters worse, when they finally started snow removal, it was at 1:00am! After a few hours of uneasy sleep, we had to walk up the unplowed hill - through 2 1/2 feet of snow - all the way out to the street to get a ride to work. I've had a few rough hotel/motel experiences in my life, but this one takes the cake. This would have been a one star review if not for the staff. At least they were somewhat accommodating.

The newly remodeled rooms are great. This hotel is currently under renovation and there are some downfalls due to it, but for the most part they are very respectful. As for the the house keeping mostly they all are nice, but you have a rude one every now and then. I really believe that they could do a lot better job at cleaning the rooms. They are dusty and sticking in places, it seems like as long as it looks clean its good enough. Also the house keepers are very slow. Prices are a little on the expensive side for the quality of the hotel, but if you pay by the week (if you can or need to) them the price is a lot more reasonable. The front office employees are all extremely friendly and caring except for one of them. So in my opinion if you are looking for a distant hotel that's not outrageous in price this is a pretty good one. It is located in Baltimore MD at 1401 Bloomfield Ave. 21227.

When we arrived to the room it looked nothing like the pictures they had on the Internet . we asked for a non smoking room the room unfortunately smelled just like smoke. After seeing three prostitute's walk past us during check in I was worried at that point. The sheets had to be changed because of a few stains that were on them . The toilets and bathtub were filthy ! Even looked like blood staining on the side of the tub. When it was time for bed I barely got any sleep I itched the whole night just thinking about all the filth in the room . Went home immediately the next morning. I will never return again !

Upon getting to our room (reserved in advance no less), we had no bedding aside from a thin blanket stuffed into a corner of a chair, there was trash from a takeout meal on the table, and we had no towels. We went to the front desk and let them know. We were told "oh goodness, we'll bring that up for you right away." We waited a couple hours with nothing being brought up. Keep in mind that this was late at night, yet we reserved in advance because we had to leave the next morning. Will never stay here again and never recommend anyone stays here.

Stayed here for a week, the towels and bed clothes were clean. The room's floor and tub were not. All of the staff I interacted with were nice. If you need to get any work done, however, this is not the place. The internet averaged about 5kb/sec, barely enough to email. The non-smoking room reeked of marijuana and the smoke detector was covered with a plastic bag when we checked in. Lots of yelling and the police made an appearance in the parking lot twice. However, it is fairly cheap and close to downtown and we were left alone.

This motel was very nice! If you just need a place to sleep and relax for a minute - this is the place - close to so many things (shops/schools/restaurants/downtown/airport). I reserved a King Size room - the bed and room very clean/neat - room smelled clean. Lots of places to hold your personal things and even had a mini refrig and microwave. Bathroom was up to date and modern looking - the towels were clean and even soft for this type of motel (didn't expect that +++) My room's toilet was not ok - it rocked :( but that was the only down fall of the room. The motel did not offer any type of breakfast but did have some coffee and tea at the front and a free paper - there was a very nice vending area and prices were not bad. It also had one washer/dryer available (coin fed). The staff that we passed very very friendly and nice and the front desk staff were very helpful and always available. I would stay again!

Strange upscale Motel 6 for something like $80 a night - not what I wanted for an 8-hour stay. Bathroom floor was very dirty. Indian staff did not seem friendly (and I like Indian people). Beds were good. Not happy that Motel 6 is going in this upscale direction . . . I have spent over 30 nights at the Waldorf Astoria and many other (company-paid) high end rooms and, like I think Tom Bodett says, they all look just like Motel 6 when you close your eyes. Another experience like this and I will stop looking for the big 6 when I need some quick shut-eye.

I stayed here for 2 nights. The room was clean but don't expect any extras from motel 6. Only a bar of soap was in the room. towels were tiny and very thin, they don't have kleenex or clocks in the room. I asked for kleenex and shampoo and they didn't have any. Athough the room was large and the lack of furniture made it seem even bigger. The laminate floor in the rooms made everything sound louder. You could walk down the hall and hear everything in each room. Surprisingly the rooms were quiet though, no noise from the hallway even with the hotel booked full. The young lady and gentleman at the desk when we checked in were very nice. However my mom asked to check in at 1pm instead of the 3pm the next day and the lady working that afternoon was extremely rude. It's fine if the room wasn't ready but no need to be rude. Also they only have coffee in the morning, no breakfast. I'd stay here again but I would probably bring my own towels and toilet paper cause theirs totally sucked!

I saw the mixed reviews and decided to dropped in late. The initial apperance was clean yet minimally maintained. There is an attempt at add in a homey touch with flower baskets. The were kept up. As you walk in a small entry to another door, there was a musty smell not sufficating though. The decor was out dated and the interior was clean and mimimally maintained as well. After a bit of confusion cause by the rather large sized sign that says to ring the bell for night service and The front desk clerk, wearing street clothes motioned the door was unlocked...hmm..and then continues being more interested in the electronic in hand and seemed in convienienced by my presence. The clerk did respond quickly, though obvioulsy irritated, when I asked if there were rooms availible. I asked to see the room and was given a rude look and asked why, I responded that i had seen mixed review and would like to see before hand. The clerk huphed and standing and pushing the chair back with a roll of the eye. Stating they have never done that but was going to anyways. At this point I explained I was willing to give this place a shot given the recent review but it seemed to be too much of an incovienece to put the electronic down and provide humane customer service. I excused my self and apologized for "wasting" thier time.. If you take a customer service job have some dignaty and treat the customers like u want to be treat! ridiculous!

The price is right and it has what we needed (beds shower and a TV) it was not exactly what I would call clean. There was animal hair on the floor and what appeared to be random pieces of scotch tape. Definitely handnt been vaccumed in a while. Most of the lights in the room didn't work. We got a non smoking room but there were cigarette burns in the bedding (the room didn't smell smoked in though) guy at the counter was neither friendly or unfriendly just present. Beds were not the best but we slept alright. I would say if you want to save some money and you are not super concerned with the room being spotless its a ok cheap place to stay. I won't be back personally, next time I'll shell out the extra to stay somewhere nicer.

I can assure you that the stay at Motel 6 Hannibal will be the best ever of any Motel 6 in the country. Good friendly management with great customers come first attitude for their delightful stay and by all means their rooms (bed) were so comfortable. And last but not least a good nights stay at a reasonable cost to you. I highly recommend this Motel 6 and by all means tell Management that I made this recommendation for they are well deserving for their hard works and kindness we like to experience while traveling this USA.

I would give 0 stars if I could. This was the most disgusting hotel I have ever been to - and I've been to africa. Both the comforter and the towels had brown stains on them. There was hair everywhere - on the bed and all around the bathroom. Stains on the walls and just a general disregard for the cleanliness of the room. The window was unlocked and slightly cracked which made me feel very unsafe. We stayed a total of 30 minutes before we checked out and the guy behind the counter was nice enough to give a refund. Now, a day later, the manager charged out card again because she says we stayed an hour and that we made the room dirty, and even hung up on us.

Couldn't stay a whole hour. It's in more of an industrial area, a little ghetto, further from the scene. The main building looks nice but the outside looks bad. Our door wouldn't lock without 2 people pushing on it. Bathroom door wouldn't close. Four dead bugs on floor and a spider/web. It wasn't swept. It smelled like wet dog. Floor was chipping. Crumbs on the head board. The refrigerator was leaking water across the floor and toward the bathroom. Only soap supplied, not mini shampoo and conditioner bottles. Pool is a LOT smaller than it looks in the pics. Giving 2 stars instead of 1 because front desk woman was understanding of why we didn't want to stay here, almost like she was used to it. She was kind. Went to another hotel about 1.5 miles away and it's a little more expensive but TRULY worth it!

If you would like the convenience and safety of parking in front of your own room and you are not handicapped, you should let them know that before they assign your room. You might expect that each quest would park in front of their own room. But, for some reason, at this location several rooms have handicapped parking spaces and you will not be able to park in front of your room if they assign you to one of those. I'm not sure who the space is reserved for in that case (a non-paying guest?)

We unfortunatly made a last min decision to stay here. Bath towels in room were dirty, room smelled like mildew or like it may have had previous water damage. Very noisy. You can hear the trolleys breaks, and can here people outside very clearly. General area is relatively sketchy. The price seems very high for such a low quality experience. This seemed like a place that rents their rooms out for hourly use. Only 2 pros: The person working at the front desk was very nice, and it was very close to mission valley so restaurants were easily accessible.

It was 32 degree and there was no heat in the room I call down to the desk to let them know the heat wasn't working I was told to adjust the heat to the lowest temperature and call them back in 30 minutes. The room still cold call back I ask do you have a room heater, no. Do you have a extra blankets, no that's the housekeeping department. She said I will check for you another room I will call you back I said please do that call never came. And the WiFi not free

The desk clerks (night and morning) were friendly and worked quickly. I was told by the night desk clerk at check-in the hotel was non smoking. When I opened the door the smell of a smoking room gushed at me. As I walked by other rooms with doors open I could also smell them. So I say to myself forget it on trying to get a room that didn’t stink. The carpet was filthy (I was in room 203) you could see the dirt and grunge in it. After walking in white socks for maybe 5 minutes which I shouldn’t have done they were dirty. The television was a very cheap 15-20 inch and reception was very fuzzy. The internet was and extra $2.99 / day. That pissed me off also. The faucet barely gave water. It was plugged up. A plumber or handy man could have it working properly in 5-10 minutes. (I don’t see that happening there). The bathroom just felt dirty. Did not take a shower for I felt I would come out dirtier then I went in. Clearly the upkeep of the hotel just hasn’t been done. I have stayed at many other hotels at the same price as this one and they included internet and a complimentary breakfast. This hotel had coffee thats it. I don’t drink coffee. Needless to say by I will not be back. The hotel is filthy and needs a major updating.

DON'T RUIN YOUR DERBY DAYS!!! URGENT CRITICAL REVIEW OF MOTEL 6 JEFFERSONVILLE, IN HOSPITALITY WAY!! I CHECKED IN EARLY IN THE MORNING AND HAD TO BE SWITCHED TO 4 SEPARATE ROOMS. THE FIRST ONE STANK VERY BAD OF ROOM SPRAY COVERING UP SMELLS, THE OTHER ROOMS HEATING DID NOT WORK. I ASKED THEM TO SWITCH ME TO YET ANOTHER ROOM AND THEY WOULD NOT. THEY REFUSED TO REFUND ME, THE POLICE ORDERED THEM TO REFUND ME AND I LEFT. THIS PLACE IS NOT THE PLACE YOU WANT TO STAY. I WAS THERE FOR AN ENTIRE WEEK. IT IS DIRTY, DANGEROUS AND NOISY AND THE PEOPLE THERE DO NOT WANT TO HELP YOU WITH ANYTHING. PLEASE STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE. I LOST A BUNCH OF MY STUFF INCLUDING MY MAKEUP BAG AS A RESULT OF BEING MOVED AROUND FROM ROOM TO ROOM BECAUSE THE ACCOMMODATIONS ARE SO POOR. DON'T RUIN YOUR DERBY WEEKEND!!! STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!! IT JUST ISN'T WORTH THE STRESS, PAIN AND THE HASSLE. They took my stuff and refused to give it back. Don't leave anything behind because they will keep it. Scary, scary place. Very noisy traffic you will need more than the fan and earplugs to block out all the noise of the thuggy people yelling, including the front desk people who call the police on anyone who wants their money back.

Actually a zero Star Motel. Worst situation imaginable. This dump is straight out of a horror movie. Did not have correct number of rooms. Did not have 2 beds in the rooms. The phone at the front desk was ringing off the hook with people complaining. There was stumbling drunk people there at 6:30 pm. The cops showed up as we left. I would not recommend any Motel 6 in the country just for allowing this one to exist.

There are great Motel 6s! This isn't one. Stay one night if you must but expect bad service; the front desk is there to network with criminal associates, not to serve your sad customer self. The weekend night manager in particular is aggressively useless; whether you're trying to get a room or to get service for the one you paid for, you're just bothering him when he'd rather be running his hustle. Don’t stay more than one night—the heating/air doesn’t really work so you don’t want to be there if you’re awake, and you will _never_ have your room cleaned. They will call the room phone & wake you to ask if they can skip cleaning; they will call your cell phone to ask if you can skip cleaning; & when you've told every time to please go ahead and clean your room... they'll still skip it. Someone is obviously pocketing whatever sad profit difference is to be made by avoiding laundry costs. Motel 6 really should acquire a better Louisville-metro location & drop this dump as a font of bad publicity. If these lazy, rude crooks were one's first impression of the chain, they'd also be one's last.

I've asked for my receipts to be sent to me and I'm still waiting. When I asked him to email them he said he couldn't, but when I checked in she asked me for my email address......so she could send me the receipts. He said he would send them and I'm still waiting. I had no hot water from my bathroom sink, they sent someone to check it right away....after two days in the same room the issue was never addressed again. Almost like it never happened. I brought it up at check out at 4;30 that morning and "buddy" at the front desk gave me the look like "So what do you want me to do about it?" this was the same guy who made me feel like a jerk for asking for my receipts to be emailed to me. Hey, you get what you pay for right? This motel is usually 20 - 25$ less than the other Motels in the area and since I want to save 20 - 25$? Well you get the story.

We found bed bugs in the room! Our money was refunded, and the staff were cordial about the situation, however, it did not cover the hassle of having to take precautionary measures with our belongings. I feel badly for people who do not look or notice and end up taking those nasty little critters home with them. Always make sure to check the mattresses and box springs upon arrival if you stay here. Also the rooms were slightly unkept. I think someone should be checking the rooms after housekeeping has finished to ensure they are doing their jobs. I realize this is a budget friendly hotel however people deserve clean rooms otherwise what's the point of having a cleaning crew? Might as well lessen the price and give people some cleaning supplies when they show up.

Hot chick working the counter tried very hard to help resolve issues, but it was beyond her control and that's where the good part ends. Butt stains and pubic hair on the unwashed sheets. Eye makeup and... buggers(?) on the unwashed pillowcases. A little bit of dookie on the floor by the bed. And piss in the toilet. Also no ashtray in a smoking room, dead batteries in the TV remote, super grainy TV reception, screws missing from the deadbolt, buggers (?) on the walls and light switch wallplates... Surprisingly there was no dead hooker in the bath-tub, that was nice. I give one star for the no-dead-hooker part. What else... Got switched to another room. Hot chick came with me to inspect it and we found more pubic hair on the sheets and called it quits... Naught for nothing, if all you care about is getting a room with no dead hookers in the bathtub, this place is worth a shot.

I have never stayed in a nastier motel. The sheets were dirty. The room smelled. There were used clippers hidden in the towel rack. If someone cleaned the room before we got here they must have been blind. The man on duty had to be asked 3 times how we got to our room ( we were in a 200 level room and needed to come in through the lobby). He never even said those words. He just pointed and finally we made him get up and show us. The only positive thing I can say is that I could get free wifi from the lowes near by and didn't have to pay for it from the motel. I don't mind a cheap motel when traveling. I have stayed in $30 a night motels in the middle of nowhere when all I needed was a clean bed to sleep for a couple of hours. But this place is disgustingly dirty. You are better off sleeping in your car.

Rooms are newly decorated with new bathroom fixtures and the bed was very comfortable. A very thin layer over the sheet was all I had as a bed spread. The spread also had 2 cigarette burn holes visible which remained on the bed for the 3 days I was there. Make sure if you want a non-smoking room that it is smoke-free. We recommend sleeping in a dumpster before this place. This place was the worst place I have ever stayed at in the lower 48. If you like stumbling across dirty heroine needles in the bathroom, dirty sheets, cigarette smoke, or blood spots on the toilet this is the place. Honestly I would probably feel safer sleeping under a bridge on the streets of Tulsa and that's with a toddler. Pretty sure this is the place to go if youre a trucker who is in dire need of a prostitute. At 2 am there were people partying in the hallways and each adjacent room, getting really rowdy, then we hear, "Let's do the nasty"(this was a group mind you, not just a couple). We called the manager, said he would take of care of it and not a god damn thing happened. We were there 45 minutes and grabbed our belongings and our baby and bailed. On our way to the first floor we were running into intoxicated couples that were most likely tripping on some hard drugs. The hotel lobby refused to refund our money for the 45 minutes we stayed there. We went to a different hotel and spent much more to avoid experiencing anything like that again. We literally felt icky after being there, the first thing we did was take a shower at the new hotel.

Your average Motel 6. We stayed there for almost 3 weeks in their regular room with microwave and refrigerator. The Laquinta Motel behind Motel 6 has a very large field for the dogs to run in. The coffee is good (not weak at all) and available 24 hours. The room smelled a little like cigarettes but definitely not the worst smelling one I've stayed in. Our room had carpet (you could ask for one with hardwood). By the end of our stay a lot of contractors came and were tearing up some rooms to renovate.

Keep in mind the wifi is free, but it is also very slow and intermittent, I ended up using my data plan on my phone instead. Reception staff were excellent. Upper floor is half & half smoking/non-smoking, (fine for the smokers, not so for the non-smokers). Bed not made for 5 of 5 days, cleaning staff didn't attend room for 2 of 5 days, (or at least they didn't do anything or replace soaps etc if they did go in.) Outside smoking immediately outside main entry so guest coming and going are subjected to second hand smoke and the odor permeates into the lobby. I think I can do better for $80.00/night.

Was a bit disappointed. Staff were great....but some issues. Someone has gotten sick at the ladder in the salt water pool. Even with the cameras, no one came to clean it up. Finally someone did, but the area was not even disinfected in the area. Later that evening upon returning to our room a condom was found from the previous guest. Had to try to explain that to my girlfriend. Counter in our bathroom was broken, as well as 1 of the headboards for the bed was broken away from the wall. Was a place to lay my head, but really don't think I will return nor recommend to any of my friends or copying workers which do a lot of traveling, especially my coworkers who work for General Motors. Microwave kept beeping if after it was cleared and reset. Alarm clock provided did not work and we were almost late for check out. After a long day stuck in airports and missing our connection due to delays, we really just needed a place to sleep for cheap. This place checked both boxes. I'd give the room 3 stars....the extra star in my review is for the front desk clerk Adeel who was very friendly and accommodating. All of my belongings are stuck at the airport with my luggage and Adeel made sure we had tooth brushes and tooth paste, shampoo and conditioner. The best part is, he let me borrow his phone charger for the night. Such a sweet guy!!!

It was simple and cheap, no frills, no breakfast but a Denny's was a close walk. Stayed one night which was enough. Staff and shuttle driver were very nice, clean enough, TV was small but they've attempted to update to a modern feel, walls were thin though but not enough to keep us awake.

we stopped at this hotel because is was close to the interstate that we were traveling on. My kids were thrilled when they found out there was a pool at the location. We were checked in by a very nice man who later checked to make sure that the pool facility was to our liking. In the morning at check-out the young man at the counter was also helpful and friendly.

Is there an option for ZERO stars? I would be ashamed to say I work at this hotel. Made reservations online and checked in to find that bed sheets were dirty on not only the first room I was sent to but also the second. Public areas were filthy. Elevator was filthy. Pool was filthy. There is NO EXCUSE for such laziness in what could be a nice Hotel but clearly isn't! Needless to say my stay at this location lasted less than 20 minutes.

HORRIBLE!!! The mattresses was worn out! The maid wouldn't clean the room if you had the sign on the door. They DID NOT CLEAN THE POOL!! They had a hot tub but it was broken!! Every person that walked in had a dog, cat, or some kind of animal!! ITS VERY LOUD BECAUSE OF THE ANIMALS! The rooms are NASTY! I wouldn't recommend this to anyone!! The rooms stink like animals!! The "WiFi" sucks ain't even got good connection!! The rooms were also TINY!

I have never stayed at a hotel where I had to pay $100 damage deposit, but I quickly found out why. The vanity, bath tub and floor had repaired holes in them. The bedspread had stains of unknown origins and what looked like blood stains on the pillow. I've actually stayed at a motel called the Bates Motel, but even that place got a higher rating.

I too wish that I could do negative numbers to rate this place. I've never seen such unprofessionalism as this. I was attempting to obtain rates for the night for coming for a family funeral. I was trying to see if there was an early check in fee for possibly arriving around 5:00a.m. Had a male gentleman on the phone for an entire 6 seconds and the gentleman with an accent interrupted me and asked, "Do you want a room or not?" I couldn't believe what I was hearing, so I stated, "excuse me" and he repeated it. I didn't get the opportunity to ask the question and advised him no thank you and hung up. If I had done or even had the tone that he did at my place of employment I would have been terminated!! I'm appalled and will advise everyone in the area and whoever would be thinking of staying there, to not go to this Motel 6 for any reason and we have lots of family in Baltimore.

VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!! We planned to spend a night in Baltimore, MD and go see the waterfront, without making any reservations first. When we arrived it started to snow, so we decided to get a room in town. I looked up some of the local hotels in the area and stumbled across this wonderful little Motel 6. My stays at other Motel 6's in the past made me a little hesitant on staying at another one, but this one was different then the rest of them. It is a very clean, quite, right in the middle of town and worth every penny. The staff there is wonderful, and very friendly. Our plans to see the waterfront were changed and we had an amazing time just staying indoors. The staff there made our stay very comfortable. If your ever in the area, and need a place to stay for the night or two, we very highly recommend this hotel.

If I could put negative 5 I would. Took over an hour to check in due to staffs lack of english. Then getting to the room. No elevator, half melted ice. And to make matters worse I woke up with mysterious bites all over my feet. I'd hate to see what it was like before the renovation.

I was given a smoking room after indicating that children would be staying in the room as well. The odor was unbearable. There were blood stains on the pillow cases and walls. Was treated with extreme disrespect from the nighttime staff and wasn't able to move rooms until my third and final night at the motel (After first being given a key to a room which was occupied). I received a knock on my room two times around 3:00 am by a strange man whom I did not know and hotel staff did little to make me feel safe.

Weird halfway done remodel to the newer brand standards. Room had the new faux wood floors and updated bedding under the older M6 bedspread. Disappointments include old TV set and broken door locks that require a key for entry to hallways. Defeats the purpose of interior corridors to me. My room was non smoking but retains an odor from previous years of smoking permitted. Good overnight properly, don't hear the airport. For an extended stay, a few dollars more at another property would be worthwhile.

Airport Drive in Boise ID. When booking I requested a Ground floor & no smoking room. I was told there were no ground floor rooms available but when I said I really needed a ground floor there was suddenly one available. I have now discovered it's a smoking room. This room is like a cell. There is no closet not even a drawer ! The bed could maybe fit 2 small children. Bonus! I just found a handicapped seat that fits across the bathtub - a surface to put something on ! after I've sprayed it with disinfectant, of course. The floors are laminated which is good but because of the lack of funiture, I just sneezed and it’s still echoing around the room. For the same price I could have had my choice of several motelsin the area. I’ve taken pictures so my friends can have a laugh when I get home from my trip.

A friend had a key card to our room and it wasn't working. I reserved a room with 1 king size bed online and was sent to a room with two full beds instead. The bathroom had not been cleaned at all. There was urine under the toilet seat, hair on the toilet, and a used soap bar in the tub. It was disgusting. The room itself was clean. The lobby was nice though it took some time to get the attention of the front desk clerk. The internet was pretty terrible, going in and out to speeds so slow I just used my mobile data instead. Not the worst motel 6 I've been to but not the best.

Best price for the location. Just needed a place to sleep for 8 hours and be close to the marina. Room was clean. I heard some noise from neighbors, but not as bad as could have been. Front desk attendants were super friendly. Area seemed sketch at first, but turned out ok. No major complaints. I like the new remodel of the rooms, but the shower was awkward and I'm a tiny person. Not sure how a big person could even handle it. I would recommend for value and for quick stays while passing through.

When I called reservations the room rate was $75 so I booked it with my credit card. When we got there the front desk man said "the rates have changed". REALLY??? The rate changed to $85. which is still a great price but it's the principal of it!! The room is small. Flimsy mattresses on a particle board platform. Walls are bare and with a knock down texture. Th sheets are like terry cloth towels...very scratchy and cheap. My bed spread had stains on it. And they're cheap. Laminate flooring doesn't feel clean. Bring a pair of socks or flip flops. NO Hairdryer or little shampoos, body lotion etc. flimsy towels too. Thin walls. We can hear people walking around upstairs in the room above. You have to pay for wifi. Large complex with many many rooms. Close to everything. Great location. I would not stay here again but it was ok. Switching the price on me made me angry and he didn't offer to honor the price nor upgrade to a room with a fridge.

We had a clean spacious recently remodeled room with plenty of room for our two cats and us. They have a very attentive staff and beautiful grounds with palm trees and rose bushes. It was quiet with no riff-raff, close to restaurants, a laundromat and grocery store across the street in a strip mall, and very close to the freeway which was very convenient. We would definitely book here again!! :)

We never stayed in 1 star hotel, this time we just needed place to crash for couple of hours so thought lets try since rating wasn't bad. We called one night before and I asked for the price Lady said its 59.99 and we could check in early next day, that sounded good to us. We got there next day and the Lady said 69.99 plus tax, well this is not even 3 star hotel!! okay we didn't mind she was being greedy. We tried to open the room and a dragon queen came out of the room and ask us what we need..oops!! horrible someone was already in the room!! then they give us another room, it was clean but had a weird smell, not pleasant!! sheets looked clean but old!! I wont recommend for families, you know what I mean! I will never go for cheaper hotel again, and will make sure to check negative reviews!!

This was my worst stay ,at a Motel 6 ever. for over 30 years,I was staying at Motel 6.Perfect,no,but doable. This was so bad. The non-smoking room, was so stinky . Than,in the middle of the night , a Security pounded the door and ask if a car belongs to me. I had my paperwork in my window . I was in Rohnert Park on business and it was hard to focus, since so little sleep was possible. After all those years ,I will pay a little more and will stay away from this chain.

Sign says renovating, but see no evidence of it. Half the hotel is condemned and closed off, can smell the mold and mildew as you enter. Carpets are filthy bathroom fixtures are from the 70s. A/C Pumped out a musty smell, has loose and exposed electrical outlets, the grounds are not maintained and the TV is from the 90s. It's about a $39/night place as it is, not a penny more. By far the worst Motel 6 I've ever seen. Maybe the next visitors will update if they are actually renovating or just posting a sign to excuse the squalor conditions. C.C. MOTEL 6 CORPORATE

This was the nastiest hotel in our galaxy! I wish I could give a negative star. From the carpet to the trash behind the bed behind the dresser, stained sinks and toilets etc etc. Multiple dogs in rooms, the choking smell of marijuana... This place is an absolute joke......$61.00 for one night the tv is so old I'm surprised theres not an antenna on top of it.....tv does not have av jacks to plug in a dvd player. Woman that works at night is very rude and feels everytime you ask her a question your bothering her. I asked her for a paper plate or paper towels.....she said they don't have nothing like that......so your maids don't use paper towels come on. I've stayed in nicer one star hotel that cost 40 dollars and the comforter did not have burn holes all over it. DO NOT STAY HERE. When it was the Dutch Inn many years ago it was a classy joint. When it was the Ramada Inn it was bad but its 2016 come on now upgrade your TV's throw out the burnt comforter and show your guest a little courtesy, paying 61 dollars a night to sleep here catch up with the times and upgrade the motel or burn it the hell down like this comforter

We called reception and they said that was the only room available, the ac wasn't working, sheets were dirty, and u could see blood spot on the phone sick. Mark the receptionist super rude to my husband, criticizing my husbands english. Saying my husband needed to speak better english! 😵 wow! We asked for our money back and he said he couldnt do it because we had used the room already which was a total lie, we had just walked in with our kids and items to find a smelly smoke room with a non working ac. Check in time was 3pm. We arrived at 3:30pm and the room wasn't ready. I was asked to come back in an hour. After driving 6 hours with two toddlers I was not happy to have to wait an hour to get into our room. When I asked if we can have an extended check out time as an accommodation for the room not being ready I was told no, that Motel 6 does not do that. When I asked what they could do to make up for it I was told that the room are available "upon availability" and there was nothing they could do. I was upset and frustrated to say the least. I understand that it was a busy weekend but this was unacceptable. The staff should have been better prepared for the amount of guests they were expecting. Once we got to our room I noticed that the comforter had a cigarette burn, that was not nice to see. Also, they is a gap between the tub and the wall, the part in the middle was dirty, super black. Not what I wanted to see while bathing my children. A family member also booked a room for the next night. We requested a double bed but when we checked in we were given a single bed and were told that they rooms are "upon availability". WHAT! We specifically requested a double bed because of the amount of guests that were staying in the room. How could a motel book rooms and not make sure that the guests are going to get what they asked for. It was an extremely frustrating experience. In both situations the staff was not apologetic or even a bit accommodating. We will never stay at a Motel 6 again.

Very clean, private and quiet. Room didn't have many electrical outlets so charging electronics was an issue. Non-smoking rooms but ashtrays supplied right outside the room doors. Quick and easy check-in/check-out, professional staff, plenty of parking, gas station and McDonald's within walking distance. Rooms were nicely decorated, brightly painted, no carpeting, large bathroom mirror, only two small chips of general soap provided so make sure to bring your own shampoo.

Three different rooms were filthy and the final room had bed bugs. Now it will take 10 days to process my refund and I have nowhere to go. Worst experience ever. I don't know how the health department hasn't shut this place down. People fighting outside, people grilling in front of their room under an awning when it specifically states you cannot do that because its a fire hazard. GM argued that room was clean. Go look at my pics I added of the bugs in my bed and on the floor, plus the filthy bathrooms. On the same level as a crack motel.

This hotel needs to be shut down! My husband is there and is having an awful experience, and will NEVER recommend this motel to even his worst enemy! From the beginning his key to his room has not worked. He was told the first time that he didn't know how to open a door so they went with him to open it and guess what.. it wouldn't open!!! So they give him a new key card which works for a day then won't work again.. this has happened 5 times since my husband checked in on the 16th of this month. Each time he has came back to his room after a ten hour day wanting to relax and clean up but can't until he is finally let in his room after waiting for at least a half hour and sometimes longer for someone to open the door! He was told that the door needs a new battery, but as of yet it has not been fixed!! You can't really wash your hands or face or even shave because the water backs up in the sink. You can't do laundry in there machines because they don't work and you won't find that out until you take your soaking wet clothes out of the washer and the dryers are no better!! The rooms are only cleaned once a week so if u do decide to stay here you will want to bring cleaning supplies. The swimming pool is not filled with water and all pop machines do not work. I could go on and on but I hope this message gets seen by the right person so something can be done!

Don't expect much. I guess its okay for what its meant for a place to pass the night when on the road. At least the room I got with my family it had a bad odor and when we turned on the heater it just got worse. If there was any I did not figure it out but there was no a/c available in my room and it got warm. The cover on the box frame of the mattress was DIRTY stains and all at glance the covers seem to be clean but we did not want to try it so used our sleeping bags to put over the bed the room was warm enough anyway for blanket use. Some of the people hanging outside of some rooms dont make it feel safe but I guess if you keep to yourself you should be fine. I guess my biggest issue was the room odor.
