I stayed at Motel 6 off Adams Dr. in Tampa, FL. We chose this hotel because half way in between Orlando and Sarasota and near highway. The area looked fine when checked in, only there for a few minutes then returned approx. 10:30 pm. When we arrived, there were people hanging outside, slamming doors until 3 am yelling. Definitely did not feel safe. An officer was parked in the lot. After no sleep, we left at 3 am. When leaving, a guy appeared on drugs just leaning on his door. Is the owner of Motel 6 even aware of what goes on? I will never stay at a Motel 6.

My husband called the local Motel 6 (912-283-3300) to find out what the room rate was for 1 person. The male on duty quoted the price as $39.99 + taxes. I went to the motel and paid CASH for our granddaughter to stay 2 nights. I signed in, but the female clerk did NOT give me a receipt. When I was paying I thought the price was wrong, but I was ill and ready to get back home. Upon my arrival at home I called Motel 6 to ask the female clerk where was my receipt. She said my granddaughter could get it the next morning.

Checked into Caseyville IL in hot early September. Clean and housekeeping congenial. Front desk is generally rude and difficult. Police there constantly. No fridge, 1 microwave for whole motel. Always kicked off WiFi. 3rd floor reeks.

I checked in Motel 6 at 23:15 hrs in Mt. Pleasant, TX at on 11/2/15. Paid with my credit card. I was back at office at 23:50 hrs after smelling my room. Had dirty sheets on the bed. I requested another room. Denied. I requested my money to be put back on my credit card. I was also denied. I checked out on Motel 6 at 00:15 hrs with no room and no refund. That BS.

Firstly, this is worst place I have stayed in. Not only are the grounds dirty but the room is a nightmare. Nothing works, a.c., hot water, ice machine. Nothing is clean linens and all. I will never recommend anyone staying here. By the way, the police love to hang out here all the time.

The Motel 6 in Bremerton had a guest break a natural gas pipe on the building causing an explosion and fire destroying the end of the building and all of the personal property of several guests. The Motel 6 manager left the property and a clerk helped guests as best she could. The owners of Motel 6 and Corporate management would only use the Red Cross and other volunteers to help most of their guest. Several guests who lost all of their belongings in the rooms destroyed by the explosion things like vehicles, computers, phones, clothing were told by Motel 6 that they had no insurance to cover the guests loss's.

The Motel Six extended stay in Roswell GA is have a roach problem. I have been moved twice and each time the rooms have had roaches. I have complained to the front desk and have filed a report with guest relations, still each day three or four show up. Instead of dying they are multiplying. Either that or they are not spraying as I am being told. No motel should be allowed to operate under this condition. Motel Six slogan "we'll keep the lights on for you" - yeah do that, cause I need to see them roaches crawling up the walls when the lights are off. SMH. Motel Six reputation is at an all-time low; I can't say it's not deserved. It has become a safe haven for bums, degenerates, and prostitutes. It is no better than a sleazy motel that rents by the hour. The brand have lowered their standards and expect you, "the consumer" to lower yours. No thank you. I still expect my room to be clean and bug free.

Reynoldsburg, Ohio - I rented a room for my daughter and the bed smelled like BAD B.O. We asked about the amenities and there were supposedly heat/air and free coffee! The air did NOT work as they said it was on a single system either heat or AIR. This was never disclosed at time of check-in and payment. My daughter complained and asked for a refund as it was nasty and disgusting and dirty bed clothes as well as no air. They told her "open a window," which had NO screens. When she asked for a refund to go elsewhere they blatantly said NO!

Rented room, Motel 6, walked in first room and floors was very nasty, not been touched. Went to office, received another room. It was just as bad. Went back to office, requested broom and dust pan, and had to sweep floor and dusted tables and tv. Traveled 8 hours, wife got sick. So pulled off in Richmond VA across from Richmond International Airport. Wife was too sick to go somewhere else, so I'm staying at nasty Motel 6 with sick wife 10-21-15. Thank a lot Motel 6. Will probably never stay again.

I have never experienced such disrespect & racist behavior from a hotel. The general manager Syed **, entered my room as I was showering. And complained we need full-service cleaning. The past week we asked twice for cleaning & never received it. He told us that we cannot extended our stay for no specific reason. My boyfriend is African American & was completely disrespected by the general manager. The sheets are always yellow & dirty. There are bed bugs, and dog feces all over the property. He also tried to blame that on my dog. Which every time I take my dog out I ALWAYS pick it up. We are very clean, quiet people & are astonished by the utter disrespect & racist behavior of the staff especially the general manager and housekeeping.

Paid for room around 9:15pm. Clerk gave us directions to restaurant & store - without visiting room, went directly to restaurant, went to Walmart & returned directly to hotel. Instantly upon entering room we observed many tiny roaches crawling on the walls. The bed linens were stained & floors were filthy as were the walls. I'm not sure of the substance on the walls but it resembled dried nose mucus (as in boogers). Unimaginable the bacteria or viruses that may have been present in that room. We went directly to the office where they would not/did not refund our money. After repeated detailed phone messages left at Motel 6 Corporate headquarters & Mr. **'s (Motel manager) voicemail, we have had no response.

I will never go to a Motel 6 again as long as I live. Drunk people keeping us up half the night, till cops took them to jail. So tired the next day. Could not enjoy our family reunion. Never again will I stay there.

Do not stay at 336 Henderson Chapel Rd - First of all when we arrived and got to our room it was supposed to be a non-smoking room but the whole motel smelled like cigarettes. The staff were standing outside the front entrance smoking. When we got in our room our sheets were soiled with body fluids and also our shower curtain had fecal matter on it. Our room was infested with spiders and stink bugs. The microwave and refrigerator were broken. You have to buy your shampoo and conditioner out of there snack vending machine. We had to buy ear plugs to sleep because of the dogs barking all night and loud people in the hallways.

My husband and myself paid for two nights at your motel and we will never stay again. 1st night air didn't work but we understood why. Then the shower wouldn't drain and it backed up. Then all night long the neighbor fought outside with her husband. 2nd day we left to go out and the office cancelled our key. And in the morning we couldn't even get a cup of coffee.

We had to pay for Wi-Fi and it was non-existent. We talked to management about it and they refunded our money without even caring about fixing the problem. Their attitude was one of "Oh well, deal with it." Next the rooms are TINY and the beds are way too small. Also the shower leaked all over the floor (the bathroom was way too small as well). The more rooms they can cram into a building, the more $$$ they can make. $60 for 3 people was a JOKE!

Extreme poor customer service, staff is not friendly, there's always something yeast mudding from your room, like towels and pillows, no microwave or refrigerator, no shampoo or conditioner, and never fully clean. Location 2040 N Preisker Ln, Santa Maria, CA 93454.

I check in at Motel 6 Midtown in Savannah, GA on Sunday 9-27-2010. The first room - the bathroom was dirty with pee and hair on the TOILET and the mattress was mold. Then I move to the second room. The tub and toilet was nasty. So the lady at the desk gave me a spray bottle to clean it myself. I am very unhappy. I'M GOING TO CONTACT THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.

I wish to express the horrible experience I had in the Motel 6 in Jackson Wyoming. I had no choice. I was in Jackson to write a review for a French paper and it was the only place available. I knew Motel 6 was not a 1st class Motel but I was in Jackson and I was thinking I could have an average Motel just to spend the night and spend my day for my reportage. No, it was not an average Motel. The room smelled so bad: mildew. We had to keep the door opened. I went to buy a spray cleaning. The sheets were not replaced. The room was so dark. I saw with horror dark hair in the bed, on the towels the next day. I went back to the office late in the evening and they were ignoring you.

Stopped off at the 301 I-40 East Shamrock, TX Motel 6 and was given room # 153. I practically needed a wrench to turn the shower knob which looked to be too small to manipulate. When I was finally able to get the knob to move, I could only get lukewarm water out of the shower. At $55 bucks I expect better.

We checked into a Motel 6 in Allentown, PA. on September 10, 2015. During the night when we turned a light on, we saw roaches crawling on the wall and in the room. I told the attendant about our experience as we checked out next morning. He act like he was surprised and said nothing. This was a very bad experience, our first day on vacation. We sure didn't want to pick up these nasty bugs in our clothes and things and take with us. I have stayed in Motel 6 many times before but it has been a while. In the past they were so nice and clean. What has happened? You need to change your logo and not leave a light on for customers or they will see the roaches crawling.

I stayed at the Motel 6 last night and the next day a generous person paid for the room for the next day. Having a gentlemen that was sick in the room it was very nice to do that. At 3 pm after receiving towels and service I got a call from front desk saying payment had not been made. This was after two employees assured it was paid. Girl at front desk was very rude and unprofessional to guest that was checking in also. Sad day for Motel 6, Santa Ana, CA and bad night for the guests that depend on it. Jim Ambrosia should really take a look at that place. Customer service should be priority one for Motel 6. Never again ever. Bulldoze it. Put a nice hotel in like Santa Ana deserve.

This Motel 6 is so nasty. I wouldn't let my dog stay here. My first room 122 smelled like pass and mildew. The carpets were nasty and lining was not clean. 1 towel and case rag for 2 people. Our room was switch to find blood on the pillows, the pillowcase, the curtains, and chair, like a crime investigation. We bought cleaner and cleaned the room ourselves. Housekeeping was very helpful by finding us clean pillows and sheets. Manager of this motel needs to be fired. Just nasty here.

The room they assigned to us when we get in stink like dog pee, really bad. Pass to front desk - they give me a spray to spray in. We left, come back 3 hrs later, the smell still on the room. Pass again to front desk, ask for other room. They gave us other room and it was worst. Smell really bad. The comfort was dirty. I just don't recommended to anyone.

Motel 6 has become a health threat to the traveling public due to the sheer negligence and arrogance of the "G6 Hospitality, LLC of Carrolton TX" ownership. Never have I been so offended so many times by stopped up showers, filthy floors, non-functional sink stoppers, rattling air-conditioners, dead bathroom ceiling fans, and I am personally insulted by their refusal to invest in their employees or their properties. I have been traveling for over thirty years and Motel 6 has deteriorated at each ownership change. With such run-down properties (don't get fooled by their bright "new" decor, it is just lipstick on the pig), they now attract local low-lifes up to no good.

Motel 6 on S Woodlands Village Blvd in Flagstaff! Only place that was available since it was a holiday weekend which is the only positive to the stay. The beds were rock hard and uncomfortable. The bathroom was designed horrible and tiny. The cable TV sucked as it only had about 25 channels and you have to pay for WiFi?! And if you have more than one device you have to pay for each one separate. Upon asking the front desk girl that was working, I asked, "Why does your competitors on either side of you offer free WiFi and we have to pay?" Whereas her response was, "Well that's how we keep our room rates so cheap. If we offer the WiFi for free, then we'd have to charge extra for the rooms." Yea, that's a load of crap!

The Motel 6 in Issaquah, WA is the worst I have stayed at. On 9/08/15, with my AARP discount I paid $80 for a room with no microwave nor refrigerator; the door handle was difficult to use/open; the room smelled like a chemical even through the morning (it literally upset my stomach); the heater doesn't work; there are no tv stations for Christians to watch; the front desk clerk didn't have the information of where the pet area is; during the night something (probably a spider) bit me five times on the scalp which left me with itchy welts and a headache.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA -- On November 07 my wife and I call the reservation line and requested a room with a queen bed. We were told there was one at the Motel 6 1800 E Reno Oklahoma City. We arrived to find a FULL bed, not a queen. We dealt with this. We decided to check the bed and furniture, a habit we are into now. I attempted to lock our door, only to find the locks would NOT work. Upon more inspection, I found a number of other thing.

MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA -- I was in Oklahoma on 05/21/2013, and I checked into Motel 6 at 12:30 am on 05/22/2013. I opened my suitcase, put on my pajamas, and left my suitcase open on the bed with me and went to sleep. I woke up feeling awful. I turned the shower on, but it was taking forever for the water to get hot. I turned the bathroom sink on, and it too was taking forever to get hot. I went to my suitcase to get the clothes that I was going to wear that day, as I left the water running in the sink and in the shower. I heard the water splashing on the floor. I went to turn the water off, because there wasn't a pipe under the sink to catch the water. Keep in mind I'm naked.

CARROLLTON, TEXAS -- Last Saturday the 29th of October I was on my way to a football game here in Florida when I checked my credit card and debit cards as I usually do. I noticed a funny charge for a Motel 6 and decided to call my bank about it. Bank was closed (of course) so I decided to call Motel 6 where I found out they had accepted my debit card. Oddly, both of my cards were in my possession. I immediately told the lady that this was fraudulent and that they needed to resolve this matter asap.

I was then told there was one room available with one double bed so I took the room.

KALAMAZOO, MICHIGAN -- We just got home after staying at Motel 6 in Kalamazoo, MI. for 3 nights. It was horrible, we reserved a room a few days ahead. The sidewalk was a sheet of ice and had not been salted, my son and niece fell, luckily neither got hurt, called the office, no apology just excuses to why it wasn't salted (the snow and ice had stopped coming down more than 12 hours before so they had plenty of time). They said they would be up to salt it right away, still wasn't done til the next morning.

EL PASO, TEXAS -- Motel 6 El Paso East #1367. Where do I start off? The musty smell of the room when entering or the knife holes on the walls or the mildew in the bathroom? Well, to start off I travel a lot. I choose Motel 6 for its price and it's close to where I usually end up working. And I have stayed at many Motel 6's across the West. But this time I chose to leave after one night of staying in this dirty room. Dirty being an understatement of course. YOUNGSTOWN, OHIO -- Is the worst hotel EVER! I paid for a hotel because I was having some family issues on August 24 and handed in my key August 25. The very next day August 26, I see a charge of 125.00! I called the motel and talked to a guy at the front desk. I asked him what was it for, he said probably for a blanket. I asked why would they charge me for a blanket and the hotel room? He said the blanket that was stolen, accusing me of stealing the comforter, which I did NOT TAKE.

The maid either threw out or kept my laptop charger cord that is $125 to replace. The woman at the front desk (Manager/Owner?) was too incredibly rude, unprofessional and incompetent to get an answer as to whether the maid found it or what. So I sat in the rain in my car for over 2 hours, and already 90 minutes away waiting to find out if I should drive back to get it or not - Finally I had to call again to the Manager who, knowing my situation of sitting in a car waiting on her, wasted my entire morning on vacation and I'm out a $125 laptop charger. Normally housekeeping in hotels turn in anything they find so I was surprised. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Horrible experience!!!

Good value for the price. Room was clean, everything worked, ice machines, laundry room, vending machines all in good shape. Nice new indoor pool (freezing cold tho'!). Desk clerk James was super helpful when I needed anything. Didn't see any scary people hanging around; mostly families on vacation and highway travelers. I felt safe here. Parking lot is well lit and secure; you can see your car from your room. Recommended.

GROSS!! Burn holes and discolored bed covers. Vanity actually falling off wall. Bathroom floor sticky and dirty. Coffee in lobby tasted like it had been made from mop water but I doubt they own a mop. Hall and outside are nice, but once you get to the rooms it is different. It had the basics in place but could use some updating, cleaning and overhauling.

This is by FAR the worst motel I have ever stayed in. Actually, I didn't even stay in the room for more than two minutes. My husband and I were looking for a motel that was reasonable on pricing and close to the hospital where I plan on delivering our baby. (I'm 9 months pregnant) We needed a room to stay in for the evening as we were having work done on our house and had to stay away for the evening. My husband went in and asked for pricing and the gentleman that was working told him it would be $68 for the night. That was a little more than we wanted to pay being that we would only be sleeping there for the evening for a few hours. As my husband told him thank you and was walking out of the door to leave, the gentleman stopped him and said he would rent the room to us for $60 with not tax included. We decided that we would take the room. We gathered out belongings and 2 year old out of the car and went up to our room. As soon as we walked in the room, I smelled something so bad that it almost made me vomit. As I went into the bathroom to check things out, the first thing i noticed was the bathroom counter, sink, and toilet all had stains on them as if they had been burned by cigarettes. I immediately noticed several roaches scattering on the floor. We were in the room long enough to sit our belongings on the nightstand when my husband and I both looked at each other and said, we're not staying here, this is absolutely filth. My husband wouldn't even let our 2 year old out of his arms to put him down. We went downstairs and told the gentleman how disgusting the room was and that we would just like a refund and we would go find another motel to stay at. He was hesitant at first and said he would switch our room and my husband and I both refused and demanded our money back immediately. He ended up apologizing for the "inconvenience" and refunding our money back. We ended up going to Days Inn on I40 and Meridian for the same price and the room there was in great condition. Clean, didn't smell, and no roaches. I would NEVER recommend Motel 6 on I44 and May. If you do chose to stay at that motel, please bring a bottle of bleach and several cans of roach repellent.

This motel is sketch. I mean, not the sketchiest I've been to. But I stayed for 3 nights, intending to stay a week, and then relocated. Pretty sure a prostitute asked me for a cigarette and then the guy who left the room after here stood there and stared at me for awhile. I felt unsafe and left the next day. Guess I can't expect much from a motel with 4 different types of locks on the door. Housekeeping was nice though.

Strange upscale Motel 6 for something like $80 a night - not what I wanted for an 8-hour stay. Bathroom floor was very dirty. Indian staff did not seem friendly (and I like Indian people). Beds were good. Not happy that Motel 6 is going in this upscale direction . . . I have spent over 30 nights at the Waldorf Astoria and many other (company-paid) high end rooms and, like I think Tom Bodett says, they all look just like Motel 6 when you close your eyes. Another experience like this and I will stop looking for the big 6 when I need some quick shut-eye.

Found hair in bed and in towels, I wasn't looking for it, just real obvious against white linens. Floor was dirty like it was mopped with dirty water... but for a cheap hotel wasn't surprised. Lady working at a nearby gas station felt the need to warn me about cops being called out here numerous times, drugs and for me to make sure I lock my car doors. For the price, I'd say it was ok. I stayed here once It was good for $50 you get what you pay for but I do say some of the people that stay there and some of the front desk workers are rude. I realize that this is a lower budget hotel, but really, you are still charging over $50 per night for this place and the things wrong with this hotel are so bad that you should be paying people to stay here. The shower was terrible because the drain is plugged and shower floods over the edge and i was standing in the filth of other people's hair and body detritus! There was also no handle in the shower and my disabled husband fell down and hurt himself The floors are so filthy that when we put a towel on the floor after the shower made such a mess, the towels were black! Why was there gum on the headboard?--this is gross, disgusting and a health hazard! The beds were not made after we came back in the morning-all the maid did was throw another SINGLE towel and washcloth on the bathroom sink. Nothing else Unbelievably, I had to pay $3.19 to use the Internet for 24 hours and it was terrible and only worked on 1 device at a time. Very expensive and I have never in the past 5 years seen any hotel ever charge for wifi in the US or in Europe Only 1 towel in the room and we had to beg for more-- and they are so tiny and thin Only 1 bar of soap, no shampoo or conditioner or blow dryer The Window was broken and screen didn't close so bugs and rodents could come in while the window was open. we had to open the window because the room smelled so bad and the air conditioning smelled. There were gangs outside of our window and it sounded as if there was a drug deal gone bad out there. We complained but the manager did nothing. Bathroom faucet leaked all over counter No toilet lid and the toilet seat was dirty Beds sink in the middle--it was a horrible sleeping experience I honestly don't know what to say--I mean, for the money we paid, surely, the room should be clean, comfortable and functional, don't you agree? I believe we should get a full refund for everything we paid and an apology for the adverse conditions.

Overall this is a reasonably priced budget motel, it's clean and simple and the staff are friendly. The rooms have a fridge but no kettle and there are 2 snack vending machines on the ground floor that does include cold drinks. There isn't a machine for hot drinks which is why a kettle would be useful to travel with, and theyre laundry room is good and the charges are very reasonable. Outside the hotel there is a subway and a sunset grill for breakfast in the morning as well as a good selection of eating places at night for dinner. It's a 10 to 15 minute walk to the train station from the hotel and it takes about 50 mins on the train into Toronto. All in all I would stay at this motel again and I would recommend it to others, it's not perfect but isn't bad for the price I paid as it is well located.

Location is very good with easy access to and from Highway 401, as well as any possible restaurant you could want, including many 24 hour options. I found the front desk staff to be courteous and efficient. On the down side, the room was extremely small and had a pungent odour of cigarettes. The bed was almost comfortable. The TV was a laughable small old school TV mounted high atop a narrow closet. I know it's a discount hotel and I did not expect 5 star, but I certainly expected better. I will pass in the future and instead fork out for more upscale accomodations.

There are several restaurants within walking distance & our stay at the motel was great value & provided the necessary things that we required for our stay. On the whole, we were very satisfied & would definitely recommend Motel 6 to anyone.

The worst place I have ever stayed. Dirty carpet, splatters on wall, tv remote didn't work, old used cobwebby soap on top of shower stall, noisy heater, dinged up pretty bad, paint splatters on desk and rickety chair couldn't use for fear it would come apart. Arrival counter person very nice. Gave me free wi-fi. Never will stay there again. If I could give it a minus rating I would.

My visit to Motel 6 on 8/21/15 was going to be my last until I met Terri. My last 4 visits before this particular one were horrible with a capital "H". Everything from holes in the wall to dirty rooms to large bugs had almost given me cause to say "No more"!! However, since I have been utilizing Motel 6 since I was in grade school (many, many, many moons ago), I decided to try one last time; I am glad that I did. First, I was greeted in a friendly, professional manner by a charming, young woman named Terri. She was handling the front desk and all incoming visitors/phone calls with relative ease. I explained my situations from the past 4 visits. She listened intently and immediately began addressing the problems. Not only did she extend me free wi-fi for the evening; she then insisted on giving me a discount. I was totally blown away!! She thanked me for being a repeat customer at Motel 6, presented me with my room key and gave me prompt directions to my room. Just when I thought it could not get any better, I received not 1, but 2 follow-up calls to my room from Terri to ensure that the room met my standards and to see if there was anything additional she could do to make my stay pleasurable!! FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE!! If you are ever in this area and have to go to this particular Motel 6, stop in and see Terri; she is the best!! I will continue to be a loyal customer to Motel 6 as long as you have wonderful staff like and including Terri. Thank you, Ms. Phillene N.(Nikki) Jones

This is the best budget motel out there and it is always very affordable. Staff is usually friendly enough and the rooms are nice and clean. Thin covers on the bed. Shower sends water out to the floor. Heating/cooling system blows annoyingly over bed and room is so dry you will get sick in the cold of winter. WiFi costs $3/device/day! Couldn't get an extra blanket from staff, nor any kleenex. TV was awful, remote is broken too. Place is barely suitable for a one night fling. Absolutely not the place to go if you have work to do.

I see they took a nod from Red Roof Inn and renovated rooms, while they are not as nice as RRI. They are better. For the value the rooms were okay, curb appeal was pretty bad though. Also, they had 1970s phones in the rooms & cigarette burns on the bed. Still decent for the value.

Sink leaked and poor water pressure. Toilet loud. The heat did not work until I had to take the front cover off and reset it. The desk staff was not much help. I would give this place a minus O. When I arrived an older lady at the front greeted me and my friend and she was absolutely rude. From beginning to end horrible experience ! This hotel is a nightmare! In the room next to me a man was beating his girlfriend and the baby was in the room and you could hear the lady crying, screaming, things being thrown. I called the office and told them someone needed to come right away and when they stopped by they knocked on my door and said "it just sounds like their having a lot of fun in there," and wouldn't check on them... They wouldn't give me new bed sheets when requested, the bedsheets had grease stains when I arrived, the room door was broken and never opened during our whole visit, people were smoking pot in the neighboring rooms and then WE got accused of it and kicked out even though we paid for the night!!! I get back at my motel at 7 pm and my key won't work so I went to the office and they were treating me like a damn criminal, and of course it was that same old lady that welcomed me the first time. She told me they changed the lock because we smoked in the room, not to mention I CANT EVEN PURCHASE any drugs. So the security guard had to walk me to my room and he had to unlock my room for me and watch my get all my stuff out and waited there watching with the door open. He even said himself the room didn't smell of anything and was no evidence of any drug use in the room. Then when I talked to the manager heather on the phone, she was just as rude. This establishment is a JOKE!!! You need a whole new staff and you need to realize it's a motel 6, not a five star hotel in California? So please tell your staff to step down from their pedastool.

The Motel 6 in Denver was fantastic, because of the bad weather recently I've had nights where I haven't been able to travel home. Because of this I've had to stay behind in Denver. Not knowing many people and trying not to inconvenience anybody I've found my self staying at Motel 6 a few nights. The peace of mind I get knowing I have a safe place to stay at near my job, that helps me avoid the heavy traffic and gives me an easier drive from the motel to work is fantastic. It be nice if there was a loyalty reward program so that I could save a little bit more money if I have to stay two nights in a row. But for one night I recommend it to anyone.

The newly remodeled rooms are great. This hotel is currently under renovation and there are some downfalls due to it, but for the most part they are very respectful. As for the the house keeping mostly they all are nice, but you have a rude one every now and then. I really believe that they could do a lot better job at cleaning the rooms. They are dusty and sticking in places, it seems like as long as it looks clean its good enough. Also the house keepers are very slow. Prices are a little on the expensive side for the quality of the hotel, but if you pay by the week (if you can or need to) them the price is a lot more reasonable. The front office employees are all extremely friendly and caring except for one of them. So in my opinion if you are looking for a distant hotel that's not outrageous in price this is a pretty good one. It is located in Baltimore MD at 1401 Bloomfield Ave. 21227.

This review is for the Motel 6, located at 1401 Blomfield Ave in Baltimore MD. My employer put me and my coworker up in this hotel so we could make it into work during the snowstorm (our company policy states two people must be in the office at all times, 24/7/365). Just looking at this motel, it isn't very appealing to the eye. It is tucked back off the road, at the bottom of a hill. When I got into my room, there were a few things I noticed right away. My TV didn't work, the floors were sticky, and I was missing the fleece sheet on my bed. I also noticed that the bathroom had no shampoo. When I called the front desk, I was told i needed to provide my own shampoo, as this was not something they offered. To make matters worse, when they finally started snow removal, it was at 1:00am! After a few hours of uneasy sleep, we had to walk up the unplowed hill - through 2 1/2 feet of snow - all the way out to the street to get a ride to work. I've had a few rough hotel/motel experiences in my life, but this one takes the cake. This would have been a one star review if not for the staff. At least they were somewhat accommodating.

VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!! We planned to spend a night in Baltimore, MD and go see the waterfront, without making any reservations first. When we arrived it started to snow, so we decided to get a room in town. I looked up some of the local hotels in the area and stumbled across this wonderful little Motel 6. My stays at other Motel 6's in the past made me a little hesitant on staying at another one, but this one was different then the rest of them. It is a very clean, quite, right in the middle of town and worth every penny. The staff there is wonderful, and very friendly. Our plans to see the waterfront were changed and we had an amazing time just staying indoors. The staff there made our stay very comfortable. If your ever in the area, and need a place to stay for the night or two, we very highly recommend this hotel.

I too wish that I could do negative numbers to rate this place. I've never seen such unprofessionalism as this. I was attempting to obtain rates for the night for coming for a family funeral. I was trying to see if there was an early check in fee for possibly arriving around 5:00a.m. Had a male gentleman on the phone for an entire 6 seconds and the gentleman with an accent interrupted me and asked, "Do you want a room or not?" I couldn't believe what I was hearing, so I stated, "excuse me" and he repeated it. I didn't get the opportunity to ask the question and advised him no thank you and hung up. If I had done or even had the tone that he did at my place of employment I would have been terminated!! I'm appalled and will advise everyone in the area and whoever would be thinking of staying there, to not go to this Motel 6 for any reason and we have lots of family in Baltimore.

Think twice, thrice before staying! Contact the firemarshall for a weekly count on how many times they are called. Check public records with sheriff's office on weekly visits. The roof has been full of holes for 2 years plus and corporate rejects each bid to replace. It is common to walk in the front door and it smells like weed. Don't forget the prostitution going on either . And if you stay and see electrical cords in the hallway leading into a room with a large rug over it- the room is being treated for bedbugs! And finally, no breakfast. You can have coffee. Pay the extra to stay a few doors down if you want safety, cleanliness and breakfast. Worst motel I have ever stayed in. Verbal argument going on at motel entrance where motel worker expressed her fear and called police to break it up. She noted that often times motel was used by drug users but never saw it this out of had. Was given key to a room that had luggage and personal items in it. Went back to desk and was given a different room. That room had one bath towel for me and my wife. Front desk reported that there were no other bath towels to be had. Switch on light by bed did not work. Light in corner of room was also not working. Some event was going on in Grand Rapids that weekend, so no other place had a room. Would have been better off sleeping in the car at the near by Meijers parking lot! New motto should be "we'll keep the lights off for you."

Generally clean room (although there were some minor things...) and ok beds comfort wise. Room issues with no phone and no fridge. Bigger issue was no wifi and lack of response to this issue. Generally ok hotel, but while they present as a great deal, they charge extra per-person (really, I'm renting a room of exactly the same size/ amenities regardless if I have 1 or 4 in it) and they charge for parking - so it can quickly end up that you pay the same or more than for a higher-priced hotel.

My reservation was made for Monday. When I arrived, I was informed that I didn't have a reservation and I had been charged for a no show on Sunday. Though I spelled my name and gave my ID, my receipt and your email have my last name wrong. When I got into bed, I layed down on what appeared to be crumbs. Upon further investigation, I was lying on sheets covered in dirt and a toenail. I changed my own sheets. I kept the dirty sheets to show the day staff. There was a drip of blood on the wall next to the toilet paper roll, the hand towel was stained with eye make-up and some other brown stain. The door frame next to the light switch in the bathroom has brown stains (I hope just dirt). I have pictures to share. I am a Scout Leader, sportsman and veteran. So, trust me I have stayed in some pretty disgusting environments. But, I have not seen so many blatant issues in a hotel. After so many aweful issues with my stay, I received no call, follow up, refund offer, no anything. The lack of care expressed in the room permiates your customer care process, or lack thereof.

I called around 6 pm to inquire if they had any one bed two person non smoking beds and Tausif munir ( he claimed to be the manager) said yes. So I booked it. I called to confirm and they had the reservation. I show up at 11 pm and I ask to see the room first to ensure its clean. "No. We do not do that here. ". Weird but whatever. Never had I had a problem making sure the room was clean but okay. It's late and we want sleep. We pay and go upstairs. Room 228. The door is open. You can clearly tell from the middle of the hallway. And it smells of smoke. I ensured it was smoke free when booking and confirming. We walked into the room and I almost had an asthma attack. I went back to reception and asked to be switched. No. But he'll refund me. Can you clean the room so it doesn't smell? It doesn't. It's a non smoking. Tell that to my asthma. Can you spray something so I don't choke? Nope. That's not his job. Tausif munir was extremely rude and sexist. Refused to look me in the eye. Said there are no more available rooms and that they are all booked. Funny, online they still had room. So I call a male I know and he calls to inquire about rooms. Yes. Tausif munir has rooms for the male calling but not for the female asking in his lobby at 1130 at night. I started feeling very disrespected and threatened by Tausif munir and asked to speak to a manager. He said he is all I can speak to. I told him I have asthma and feel sick and that we booked a room to stay. No. Leave. Aren't we paying you?! He was rude, disrespectful, sexist, and on a power trip. All while this is happening, he is answering phone calls and telling people that he has rooms available. But not for me. A gentleman came in and got another room right in front of me. I told him I feel faint and may pass out. Nope. Leave. While already having my money in his hand!!! He refused to accommodate a white woman. Simply disgusting. Never been treated so unfairly. Will make sure corporate hears of this. He lied to corporate, ADAM from OHIO when he called. LIAR!

We found bed bugs in the room! Our money was refunded, and the staff were cordial about the situation, however, it did not cover the hassle of having to take precautionary measures with our belongings. I feel badly for people who do not look or notice and end up taking those nasty little critters home with them. Always make sure to check the mattresses and box springs upon arrival if you stay here. Also the rooms were slightly unkept. I think someone should be checking the rooms after housekeeping has finished to ensure they are doing their jobs. I realize this is a budget friendly hotel however people deserve clean rooms otherwise what's the point of having a cleaning crew? Might as well lessen the price and give people some cleaning supplies when they show up.

NO HOT WATER! Was told at check in a new water heater was being installed in the building and would be up and running in a couple of hours. Next morning (18 hours later), no hot water, and no indication when or if it would be working. Had I been informed there was any chance the system would not be working, I would have booked elsewhere. Beyond that, the building is showing it's age, and is not especially clean: elevator filthy, bathroom door, full of black fingerprints. Coffee in the AM, terrible (nothing else for breakfast provided). Noisy place too; loud voices in the hallway, barking dogs in the next room...you get the picture. Price for two nights (I hope to cancel the second) $128.68 about the price of 1 night at the MUCH nicer Holiday Inn next door (yes, stayed there too). Lesson learned: you get what you pay for.

This was by far the worst motel I have ever stayed in...they did a piss poor job of cleaning the room.the bathroom was nasty and the lady who cleaned my room .. STOLE MY 140$ BLUE TOOTH HEAD PHONES..and when I went to the SO CALLED manager. She told me that this has happened before. But bc the employee in question had plausible deneability.. then there was nothing they could do...even tho she admitted "SEEING" the headphones the daddy they are taken.nothing but drug addicts and hookers. In this place..... YOU CAN GO TO THE SUPER 8 FOR THE SAME PRICE SBC THEY ARE TEN TIMES BETTER.

Motel was recently renovated and my room was nice except for the following: 1. Door lock malfunctioned so often that front desk clerk had to open door himself after recoding the card several times. 2. Bathroom sink had no hot water at all though shower did. Made no sense! 3. TV and remote worked fine but picture on every channel looked grainy instead of clear. 4. Could hear upstairs guests walking and making noise too much at midnight, perhaps due to no carpeting on the floor, as my ground floor room was also without carpeting. 5. Otherwise, very comfortable beds and very clean accommodations at a good discount for my AARP affiliation and my fellow former Navy member, the desk clerk, added a military veteran discount for me as well.

THE ROOMS WERE AWESOME LOOKING the beds were super comfy. But the wifi was terrible, the t.v. came in fuzzy and the water wouldnt get to the right temp and it would jump from cold to way to hot. In the morning there were very loud banging sounds like construction was going on under our feet it shook the floor and was loud. We left early to get away for the noise. The woman who greeted us and got us our key was very kind and was very accommodating.

Bad beds and pillows. Could of been cleaned better. The shower was so low flow it was like I was being spit on. I'm just not a fan of these little tiny showers either. It was alright but I don't think we will stay again. I will say the staff was wonderful caring personable and kind! GREAT EMPLOYEES HERE!

Disgusting! There were stains on every inch of the room. From the floors (which weren't carpeted) to the bed covers. The shower was sticky and still had cleaner clinging to the curtain. Hair on the walls of the shower. The floor looked liked it hadn't been moped in days. The rate was good but for the room we got it should have only been $10.

This hotel was excellent value for the price! I chose the hotel, at first, because of its location: I was travelling through, and did not want to have to go into the city of Brandon. The location right on the Transcanada Highway was perfect. And then the price was unbelievable. To get a hotel room for under a hundred dollars in this day and age is unheard of. And I was not disappointed upon my arrival. The front desk clerk was super-nice and friendly. And the room was clean, and looks brand new. I liked the laminate flooring, much better than carpets, which always feel dirty. The decor is modern, if a bit plain. There was an continental breakfast: plain but at least they had one. Would I recommend this place? Yes, for someone looking for a bed and a clean place to stay. Not fancy, but adequate. And such excellent value!

One of the better hotels I've stayed at (I travel a lot for work). Rooms and beds nice and clean, no lingering smells, laundry room clean with two washer and drier each, fitness room looked clean with variety of equipment. Staff was friendly during check in & check out. Would definitely stay here again if given the choice.

Very friendly Front Desk employees, I borrow an extension cord to plug my car (Februay) and received it with a smile. They allow us to check out two hours later of the checkout time with no problems. It is all new and very clean. Nice room with natural light. All in perfect conditions. Clean bathroom. No smoking smell. Breakfast included. Dinning area tables are a little small (we are three) but just a minor detail. Location very easy to find. I recommend Motel 6 in Brandon.

Found myself with a last minute change in travel plans. I was traveling with my dog (a labrador retriever) and needed a hotel that would accept him. I started calling no-name hotels in the area and they wouldn't even talk to me when I asked about the dog. After a google search for hotels in the area, I caled this Motel 6 because they were the closest to my travel area. The staff was super friendly and they were very flexible with the dog. The room was small, but it was clean. I would highly recommend this place for anyone with pets or anyone needing a clean cheap room. Anytime I am in the area again and need a hotel, this will be my first and only choice.

We rolled up here at 4AM, every place booked. We expected to pay too much money for any room, and when we got here, we paid around $104 for two beds in a room. The attendant was extremely nice, even warning us about an animal he saw on the monitors as we were leaving to get our things. The rooms were outdated, but fantastically functional. Everything you need. It was perfectly clean, some bumps in the wall, but clean. The matresses were brand new and so comfy (especially at 4am). I would come here first if ever in Peterborough again.

I always stay here while visiting Peterborough due to the inexpensive rates and it's convenient proximity to the trails. At times I find the rooms are not the cleanest, and I have had issues with stained sheets and flies buzzing against the windows in the summer, there have been issues with noise as well, however apart from that I enjoy my stays and will always stay there while in Peterborough.

The rooms seem relatively clean (if you don't move the furniture) and everyone I've talked to at the service desk seems very nice. If you're going to use the wi-fi, you won't get more than a few minutes to 30 minutes of connectivity before you lose connection and somedays, it takes a few hours before you can connect again. And I advise leaving the do not disturb sign on your door until you check out. The black house keeper with long hair and facial piercing is very vocal about how much she hates cleaning after people. Besides her, everyone was great.

I appreciated my room. Comfortable bed, plugs in right place, iron, ironing board, hair drier. Great, friendly service. The most important thing for me is the room smelled fresh. Very clean, quiet room with a comfortable bed. Continental breakfast a bit skimpy - just cereal, toast, coffee and juice. Would have liked some fruit and a choice of breads ie muffins and/or bagels. Excellent service from very friendly staff. Our only issue was the room's lighting as it wasn't set up very well. The stove-sink area had no lighting of its own and the lights over the bed were too bright for one person to read while the other slept. I would have liked to have a dim lamp on my side of the bed.

It was a very BAD experience!!!! The Motel at 2834 Banksville Rd. Pittsburgh, PA was FILTHY and customer service was MUCH TO BE DESIRED. I will NEVER EVER BOOK ANOTHER STAY AT THIS ADDRESS!!!! I have stayed in other Motel 6 and I have never walked in and wanted to leave immediately, had no choice because it was prepaid and really had no time to look for another hotel. I really wanted to ask for a refund and leave. We only stayed long enough to get a little bit of sleep for the next days adventure. I was so appalled by the cleanliness of the place I didn't even want to shower there or even sleep in the bed. Other hotels offer 24/7 coffee and tea this one did not, had coffee available in the morning but no tea I really don't understand why this one is so different from any of the other Motel 6. If at all possible I would love some feedback about this location!! If anyone ever ask about a place to stay in Pittsburgh this would not be one that I would recommenced to anyone!! Stay far away from this Motel 6 not worth the money! Thank you, Mary White

I had a 2 night stay as I was on business. I chose Motel 6 to keep my travel expenses in line, so I realize it's a toss of the dice whether this was going to be a clean, safe and pleasant stay. First off, I found the desk attendants to be relatively unfriendly compared to other motels I've stayed at. I was under the impression that this Motel 6, like others, would have a small breakfast offering...they had none. They claimed they served coffee, but by 9:00am the coffee urn was dry and none had been made. The hotel is in desperate need of a general and specific makeover...carpets were threadbare, rooms had old, poorly kept furnishings and could be a bit cleaner, bathroom was just acceptable. Linens and towels seamed to be clean although the rate did not include someone to make up the bed each night. There was no added value for this Motel 6, which was about $10.00 higher than others I checked out.

I stayed in the smoking queen. The wood floor in the room was beautiful. That's all the room offered. The mattress was old and yellowing. The plastic that kept the mattress was cracked from age and the mattress protruded. No carpets for the cold floor. The room had little furnishing for its size.

My second stay here. The hotel is conveniently located to Mt. Lebo and also to downtown. It is old and needs updating. The front desk staff are indifferent - don't expect more than "can i help you" and that may be a reach. The cleaning staff are wonderful and do a fantastic job keeping these rooms clean. Pool is covered with no hopes of being opened. No ice in ice machine 3 out of 5 night stay. Most of lobby and hallways smell of smoke. Indoor parking garage is a plus. You cannot walk to the T, but there is a bus stop across the street. Big picture, this is a $39.99 a night motel priced a lot higher, but it sells out. Mini fridge in room, doesn't do more than cool the contents. One old microwave off of lobby, none in rooms. There are no extras at this hotel. You stay here because it's the cheapest for the location.

Unbelievably unprofessional and the accomadations were filthy and disgusting. I came here from Michigan with my elderly mother. Get our room and find the commode with urine all over it and pubic hair. Tell the not very concerned young lady at the front desk and she moves us to another room. Get to the other room and get the car unpacked and mother in her pj's. Pull the covers back to tuck her in and there was a towel bunched up like it was covering up a wet spot and dirt and hair in the bed. Call the front desk again and she was gonna move me again. I Told her I couldn't do that. My mom is elderly and is already in her pj's. So I had to leave the room and go to the front office for bedding and make my own bed up. Then I go to look at the shower and it hasn't been clean. How I wish I could post pics. Hair and uck in the shower. Call them again. She tells me they can clean it in the morning. Call the manager in the morning and explained to her our ordeal that kept me from taking care of my mother who isn't even allowed to be left by herself. She tells me that because I stayed, she isn't offering a discount. Bodily fluids in the bed and shower, body hair in the bed and shower. I wouldn't suggest to anyone to come here unless you get on payroll for having to do their half assed job without a smile. Obviously they don't care about there guests or the inconvenience no matter the situation. No pride in what they do it. How they do it. I will never stay here again and I will put this on Facebook and make sure it goes viral. I will also be calling corporate in Texas in regards to the staff and the their manager Joyce who did nothing to rectify the situation or even apologize. I will post pics on fb.

Friendly staff, and the rooms had been refinished in recent months, however the non-smoking rooms (4) I had booked all either smelled of cigarettes or marijuana, two of the 4 were not cleaned well (crumbs on the comforter, and ants in a soda spill beside the bed) upon check-in. The pool was a disgusting green color and topped with slime. We did not plan on swimming this late in the season anyways but the appearance makes the hotel appear even worse.

This is the worst motel I have ever stayed in! I wouldn't even give one star if this review didn't make me.I would NOT recommend to NO one not even anyone's pets! Very dirty with several roaches. I have pictures to prove this. I have pictures of my dirty towels that was left in my room. The cleaning lady don't speak English when I tried to tell her about the roaches. The roaches are even in the beds. I found mold on a self. The smell of this place was horrible almost like sleeping in a dumpster. Very rude staff when I tried telling them at the front desk about their bugs. Trust me this was horrible and never again I will come back to this horrible place. They need to shut this place down, its not safe for any human or pet.

Was horrible! Told me on the phone when it was 80 plus tax. We get there and it's 95 after tax.... OK no big deal whatever then we get to the room and the light didn't work.. OK not a big deal. Looking around the room and I begin noticing things. Like the phone, which is missing the cover and been used as a make shift ashtray... The trim on the dresser is missing, the bathroom door is falling apart, there's not a single picture on the wall. Just emptiness, loneliness, and despair covered the walls. The television remote looked like someone smeared peanut butter all over it, the bed spread had cigarette burns on it, the window hadn't been washed since Clinton was in office. The caulk lines in the bathroom looked as though Ray Charles installed everything. Ugh okay just let it go whatever. There's "free breakfast " in the morning and things will be okay. The morning came and I awoke to the neighbors screaming and fighting, in his defense she did get in late and presumably the bj that happened in the parking lot was not her husband's. Alas! Breakfast.... Or wait they don't have breakfast so they say but the website claimed they did. OK OK OK I just want to get a drink from the vending machine and be on my way. Oh wait this machine won't accept my dollar bills, hmm wonder if the clerk has change... Nope, no change, only let down.

My husband and I were looking for a place to stay while we were passing through. As we were only staying for a few hours to get some shut eye before we got back on the road we wanted something that was easy on the wallet. It definitely was cost efficient. At an already cheap rate we were offered a coupon to bring the cost down. The lobby looked clean enough. It was not spotless and gorgeous, but it was good enough for a motel. Moving on to our walk to the room.. they have no elevator and I am not sure I would have taken it of they had one. The hallways gave me a very uncomfortable feeling. As we were checking in very late we assumed it would be very quiet there, but once we got upstairs we heard men talking loudly just a few doors down. As I was already uncomfortable, this left me feeling very uneasy. Once inside the room, there was a sticker instructing us to latch and deadbolt the door "for your saftey". Upon turning the light on we realized the room was very shabby. I was uncomfortable even sitting down on the bed, but we needed some rest before we started driving again. When we laid down to try to sleep the blankets and pillows had more of a chemical smell than a clean welcoming smell and it made my eyes burn. I ended up sleeping on my hand to keep my eyes from burning and watering. The room was freezing and I could not get the cold air to stop blowing so I ended up sleeping in my hooded sweatshirt as well. Once we got up to shower the water even iirritated my skin. I'm not posting this to complain.. I'm only posting this review to hopefully help anyone passing through to know what to expect. If you want cheap this is a good place... if you want to feel safe, clean and maybe be warm this isn't a good choice.

Upon entering the second floor hallway, my olfactory senses were assaulted by a mixture I couldn't quite discern. It was like a mix of barnyard and cat pee. My hope is that's not what they use to shampoo the hallway carpets with. It was quite strong and not nearly as pleasing as, say spring rain carpet shampoo. That would have been a much better choice. The welcoming committee to my room was a flying cock roach on the door handle. He didn't even have a name tag. He didn't have balloons nor provided a mere mint on my pillow. He may not have even worked here. How was I to know?? For this reason, among others, his life was swiftly ended. When I went to grab a rag to kill it, I noticed the rag looked to have either old blood or poop stains on it. Or maybe the housekeeper ate the chocolates the welcoming roach left for me on my pillow and had to wipe the evidence from her weary mouth and didn't feel like replacing the cloth. I'm not sure which scenario I find least offensive. The housekeeper could have set up the welcoming roach. At 3am, I didn't have the desire to conduct an investigation. The welcoming committee was a roach and the housekeeper was, more than likely, human. I think I made the right choice. I was afraid to even keep my suitcase in the room for fear of roaches getting in it. I thought I found a safe spot in the middle of the floor only to find another roach waiting patiently in the corner for me to turn my back. He didn't have a name tag either. He was quickly dispatched as well. If you're desperate and low on cash this is your place. Not all the employees you'll find in your room wear name tags, so it can be a bit confusing. I've been in worse but not by much.

Hallways smelled like smoke, doors to halls from outside were not able to shut or lock, broken. Gap in door to room. Ceiling stains were huge, indicating water damage. The "24 hour coffee" was nearly empty and burnt at eleven am. Wifi was good, bed good, tv good. Drain in tub was clogged. Won't return, although really nice counter person said new management just installed surveilance, so it may be that new owner may be starting to upgrade the place. It's not done yet, though.

One of the best, if not the best Motel 6 I've ever stayed at. It was previously a Best Western and I don't know when they changed hands but when you walk in the motel you can smell fresh paint. They were working on the exercise equipment room while we were. The handouts in the room displayed a pool on the first floor but we couldn't find one (perhaps that was part of Best Western.) The room we stayed in was VERY modern and nice. It was clean and had a nice mounted flat screen tv. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The only downside that I can remember was the "laundry" was a washer and dryer sitting in the hallway next to the ice machine. Kind of odd but whatever.

Decent hotel, with very comfortable beds. We stayed for 3 nights while taking part in the State Games of America and although we booked pretty close to event found reasonable priced rooms close to our event field (Archery). The rooms were clean but fairly sparse, the wooden floors made the room feel like a dorm room to me. Loved having microwave and fridge with small freezer compartment but missed not having coffee-making facilities. Coffee is served in the lounge between 6-10 am. Breakfast is not included, but we easily breakfasted in the room at the table provided. I would recommend this hotel to anyone needing a cheap place to stay in Lincoln. 5* for the price, cleanliness, and comfortable bed!!

Go anywhere in town but the Motel 6 in Bismarck, Popularly known for Prostitution and Drugs. Undercover police have stayed there trying to help but nothing helps. Needs a complete remodel. Unsafe family environment, and I wouldn't go around too much at night. Also if you do end up having to stay there bring lysol and put towels on the ground so you dont get covered in the black mystery goo on the ground. and watch out for syringes left by previous guests. I know all of these things because I used to be a head housekeeper there. Very unsafe when you are worried about finding needles while changing bed sheets. Alot of money must be put into this property to pull it from the muck, but it can be done.

Got a room for one person at $55.18 including tax. It was over priced. Broken table, dirty sink, and night table filthy, The phone and channel listing tent card had dried food and junk so as not to touch them. Now for the bed- one pillow had a to small pillow case exposing a pillow with torn ticking which was disgusting. The other pillow had a blood spot the size of a dime. Can't believe I actually slept in my sleeping bag with my own pillow, I was gone again in 5 hours. This is not the best choice even for a cheap room. It was obvious no one actually "cleaned" the room. Many other places nearby.

Motel 6, Dickson, TN. Date of stay, 04/07/16. I had requested for non smoking room since I had 2 kids below age of 4. I was given smoking room, paid $71. After requesting she moved us to non smoking. The new room had no coffee maker, refrigerator or microwave. When asked she said all room with and without amenities are charged the same rate. When asked to arrange for microwave so I can heat up food for my babies she said you can complain to bbb and hung up on me.  This case will be reviewed by a complaint specialist at the Better Business Bureau, and then forwarded to the business for their response. It can take up to 30 days for the Bureau to receive a response/resolution to your complaint. You will be notified when the business has responded.

Coming to Dickson a lot, I've always stayed at the motel 6. Well tonight all they had available was a "jacuzzi suite" (sounds nice huh?) me and my fiancé didn't really plan on spending $100+ dollars but had to because we were very tired from our drive, so we did! WORST MISTAKE OF OUR LIFE! After walking in the room, and smelling our "non smoking room" smell of nasty cigarettes, paint peeling off the walls, and uncleaned floors, half of the lights in there did not work etc, we decided to ask for our money back and leave, we had our 1 year old son with us who had drug stuff out of his diaper bag while I was talking to the very rude and unprofessional blonde haired lady at the front desk, as she told me yes I WILL GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK and you guys can leave I'm going to come look at the room, ( keep in mind we was only there for 20 minutes. ) didn't use anything from the hotel at all. She literally runs to my room before I could even get there and I drove to the front, and barges in my room and says " oh no, no way I'm giving your money back, I can't rent this room back out. Storms out of our room leaves the door wide open and tells us she is NOT giving our money back, so my fiancé went back up there and she was saying we used the towels, and the bed was sat on, the toilet was used etc, okay yes I did use her toilet but that was it, we didn't use the towels or get her floors messy etc. anyways she proceeds to tell my fiancé, that he can go back to his room and enjoy it or enjoy the cops being called and him not having a room tonight. Very poor customer service. I'm very disappointed I stay here every single time I come to Dickson, and I will say that I will never stay here again! And I will recommend no one to stay at this "hotel".

Well the room was clean, I'll say that. The staff was so obsessed with cleaning that they ignored our "Do Not Disturb" sign on the doorknob and had barged into our room as we were coming back from breakfast. I think the older couple who cleaned our room were perhaps the parents of the grumpy couple who checked us in. They shared the same dour, customer UNFRIENDLY attitude. Pros: Rooms have been redecorated recently so they are nominally "hipper" looking. Aforementioned dedication to cleanliness. Fairly cheap rates (but you get what you pay for, right?) The surrounding area has a walkable Ruby Tuesday, Cracker Barrel, Arby's, Wendy's, Pilot Travel Center, Waffle House, and convenience store. The area seems fairly safe to walk around at night as long as you watch for traffic. The WiFi actually works! (Update: SOMETIMES it works.) Cons: Not a bit customer focused. Beds are so hard and uncomfortable that they feel like they've been stuffed with cornshucks...or maybe corncobs. Pillows are a teeny quarter step above those paper pillows the airline gives you on overnight flights. Our king bed had three pancake flat little pillows for my husband and me. I went to the check in counter and politely asked for an extra pillow and was informed rudely "No pillows! Maybe tomorrow night we have pillow." (What? If I'm extra good or bring cookies or something?) At that point we'd paid for three nights while waiting for our truck to be repaired. I will say, desperate for another pillow just to make our stay bearably comfortable, I snagged one on the way back to my room from the office. Yep. Snagged one from an unoccupied room. I am a bad person, what can I say? The rooms are ridiculously uncomfortable, the staff unhelpful. What was bizarre though, is when the grandma and gramps cleaning staff busted into our room they REMOVED the extra pillow! I had to insist on getting an extra pillow four times to get one back from them. When we first checked in, if I'd had any idea what a big deal it was just to get an extra pillow, I'd have gone with the Econo Lodge next door. I suggest anyone who wants a comfortable stay to do the same. More cons: Paper thin walls. We could hear the people next door and upstairs as if they were in the room with us. Traffic from the highway was LOUD. There apparently was once some sort of towel bars or shelf in the shower and toilet room but from the marks on the wall it must have been removed. There is no place to put your towels but on the toilet lid. My husband had to go get a lightbulb from the office to replace one that was burned out. The main ceiling light fixture was broken. I certainly don't expect luxurious accomodations at this price point. But customer focused service costs the establishment nothing and it would have gone a long way to making our stay nicer. If we hadn't already paid for the next couple of nights I'd move to another motel. This isn't the worst place I've ever stayed but I'd never willingly stay here again.

When I would come to Dickson to visit friends and family this was my choice of motel. Now I am staying at another motel/hotel in the area. The owners of this motel are wonderful, the rates are feet and the rooms are nice and spacious. However, the blonde front desk clerk is incredibly rude and condensing. She made rude comments concerning me and my guest. I will not be staying here again.

Well let's see, the armed security in the lobby at 6pm on a Thursday might appeal to some but made me wonder how bad the area really was. Government I.d. required from all guests...ok. Parking permits required sure.. No guests allowed hmmmm....no smoking on the property hmmmm... Beautiful view of a broken down fence with a noisy freeway below hmmm... Signs posted in the lobby to let you known they regularly share private guest info with the police hmmmm...is that even legal... Not allowed out if your room after 10 pm WTF! I thought bedtime was enforced by your mom when you were 8, not by a motel at the age of 30....Then their was the room.... I'm a small guy and I could touch every wall of the bathroom easily it was so small. The bathroom with a wet nasty rubber mat slung in the tub. The 17 inch TV was bolted to the wall halfway behind a wall mounted lamp. You couldn't even see the screen from the bed in this tiny room. 1 towel and washcloth for two people hmmm... 11 cable channels... Why... Seemed clean at first but upon further review the hair and dirt in every nook and cranny was disgusting. The previous post that this is Denver's Alcatraz was spot on. No alcohol allowed on the property... Ok mom... NEVER WOULD I STAY IN THIS PRISON/HOTEL AGAIN!!!!

Some of the staff were deceptive at best. I checked in around 1am Thursday morning. Was informed they were having hot water issues "but should be fixed soon." As of Friday night, there still wasn't any hot water as the boiler was in need of replacement or major overhaul who knows. Saturday I clean out my room and go down at checkout to swap hotels after a staff member informed me the soonest hot water would be available would be Wednesday. A week without hot water and they are still booking rooms. To top it all off, I was paying 44.75 a night with 2 nights left on my reservation and they would only refund $69. While running the same scam lines on another person checking in as I was checking out. Do Not Stay Here!!! You will regret it. Even if there is hot water and your expectations are nothing.

Worse hotel experience ever. The bathroom were not clean and terribly outdated. They had no shower amenities available for purchase (even though they mentioned it on the phone.) Showed up at 1230 am for a quick shower and a 8 hour sleep before carrying on my journey. Biggest mistake of the trip. I have very low expectations, and they didn't even come close.

I got exactly what I expected during my three night stay at the Motel 6 Moses Lake. The room was clean and the desk and housekeeping staff were friendly. Just remember this is a Motel6......that is all you can expect. Had I been surprised with a higher level of service I would have rated it a five. Just meeting expectations yields a four star review.

Easily located off the I 90 this Motel 6 is in need of renovations. The room was clean enough, but the bed wasn't comfortable and the bedspread had cigarette burn holes on it. I love staying in hotels, and I have to say this was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. Outside there was cigarettes and trash everywhere. Inside the room there was bugs under the pillows on both beds, so I asked for clean bedding. No maid showed up to change it, so finally I asked the front desk lady to bring me bedding and I'd change it myself. She did, and once I pulled the thin sheets off the mattress I was completely disgusted!!! Huge Brown spots covered the middle of the beds!! I showed her and she said, um, let me get you some mattress pads. It was awful! The bathroom had mold all over the walls surrounding the cheap plastic shower stall. I do not recommend this hotel unless your looking for a place to rent for the house or have a party. Gross.

I checked into this hotel and found a room filled with flies and a bed with bed bugs filled with another guest's blood. We immediately cleared our belongings out of the room and inspected for any bed bug hitchhikers as we were only there for about ten minutes. I took one of the live bed bugs to the office and demanded a refund were I talked to a rude staff member who made a couple phone calls and decided that continuing to check in guests was more important. Eventually a manager showed up and initiated a refund no questions asked. Apparently it take 7-10 days to receive a refund so hopefully it will complete soon. I have stayed at many Motel 6 locations appreciating the value they present and never found anything like this. Avoid this location.

My wife and I traveled to the Rapid City area to sight see and take in all the beautiful things to see in that area. We are very familiar with Motel 6, because we have stayed in them all over the majority of the U.S.. The Rapid City Motel 6 was a very pleasant experience. The staff was great and very helpful, the room was totally clean, and the bathroom was just as nice. Our 1st impression when we opened the room (227) was wow this is really nice. I always read reviews before I buy anything or before I rent a room for a few days. I read plenty of reviews on this particular Motel 6 and it really did get a bad rap. At least as far as our room was concerned. If other rooms were comparable to ours they were nice enough to satisfy (most). I do recommend this place in Rapid City as a place to stay it is simply worth the money. :-)

We went to see Mt. Rushmore and I made Reservations for two nights online preferring an ADA room as I travel with medical equipment and two service animals. I needed a refer for insulin as well. We wound up with a smokers room ('I'm on Oxygen) on the Interstate side (Noisy from traffic). Our room needed maintenance, molding on floor was being held to the wall with blue painters tape. You had to body slam the entry door because the top and middle hinges were sprung to get the door to open. (I use a cane to walk and fell once doing this). There was mold on the bathroom ceiling and the bathroom floor was badly stained around the toilet. To get hot water at the bath sink, turn it on and walk away for awhile (I had to shave with cold water). We had one double bed and with my wife and I we fought to stay covered as the blankets/sheets were probably made for a full size. The A/C worked great and we used Freebreeze to cut down the cigarette smell. The TV was an older analog style but worked fine. You have to pay for wifi here ($2.99 for 1mbps/ night) but be careful, when I checked my online banking I was overcharged compared to the receipt, I know of no recourse for a refund of the overcharge, and I did tell the front desk about it when checking out. (I was blown off of course). You would think for a $100 per night, you would get better quality. I must admit this motel was cheap compared to other motels in the area. I guess I'm spoiled by my local Motel 6 at $30/ night with free high speed wifi. If we ever return we will save to stay somewhere else. Best part of out stay was we did see Mt. Rushmore.

After making our way up to the top floor through creepy hallways, we walked into a drab, dark room with a weird odor like the odor that was prevalent in the elevator. There were less than basic amenities. No blow dryer, shampoo/conditioner, toilet paper, kleenex, coffee pot and the towels were perfectly sized for a 4 year old. The water pressure was far from adequate just as the hot water supply. I left the room to go back down to the bottom floor to get ice. As I was waiting for the elevator, which was at least 15 doors down the hall from our room, I could very clearly hear my husband coughing as if he were right beside me. The walls were that thin. The next morning we awoke to the sound of a baby screaming. Awesome. The good thing about the room was that it did seem to be clean. We will will not be staying at Motel 6 again.

This hotel is currently being remodeled, and while a lot of work has been done to spruce it up, in my humble opinion, a lot more needs to be done to bring it up to an acceptable condition. The rooms are very large, with new laminate flooring, and comfortable beds and clean bedding, but the fact that the door in our room was missing most of the weather stripping, the TV didn't work, and someone else's trash was left in the trash can and the floor was dirty was disconcerting. There are also numerous huge potholes in the parking lot, which is next to a large truck stop. I won't be staying here again.

From the outside, the Cameron, Mo Motel 6 isn't much to look at, but don't judge a book by its cover. Ample parking for vehicles of any size (I had a pickup with a large trailer, and had no difficulty maneuvering and parking), with reasonably easy access from the highway. The front desk and housekeeping staff were all excellent and very friendly. My king room was spotless clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The mini-fridge (included at no extra charge) was nice to have, as was the in-room dining table and seating, which I've only ever seen in suites. I will definitely be staying at this Motel 6 again.

My expectations were high for Motel 6, because although they are a cheaper hotel, the last time I stayed in one, it was SUPER clean. Anyway, my first complaint is that there is no public bathroom. Perhaps this is the norm in Lorado, I wouldn't know as this is my first time here. But I had to go to the bathroom REALLY bad, and the girl at front desk want sensitive to that at all. She was nice and polite, but she was taking her sweet time while I'm stranding there writhing in abdominal pain! (lol) Anyway...there was hair all over the bathroom, the towels were dingy, there were dirty looking spots on the bed clothes, and trash under the bed. It was livable, I've seen much worse, but still. I think these things are unnecessary, the place has great potential. It's cute, simple, a try at modern design, but when smell a hotel towel it should smell and see that it's been when in bleach and hot water. Our towels were dingy and some had black stand on them. There also shouldn't be a DNA trail of hair leading to the housekeeper in the room (it was more than typical hair shed) and there shouldn't be tar-like stains on the bed. I wouldn't say that I would never stay there again, but I would try other hotels first. It wasn't a horror story, but I'm a little OCD and a germaphobe... so these things freaked me out. They just need to crack down on standards of cleanliness, otherwise the bed and pillows were really comfy and the front desk people were nice.

Before I start, one star is overly generous... When I investigated possible motels to stay in this weekend, I read the reviews first and foremost. I should have heeded the warnings... This was the worst motel I have ever had the misfortune to stay in. The floors were sticky, the bedcovers and sheets were stained and the room smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. The people hanging around the motel were shady to say the least and the police were there more than once. The soda machines were out of order, as was the clothes dryer, the water pressure in the shower was akin to showering under a light mist. After the shower, I used a towel to stand on and when I picked it up, it was filthy on the bottom. I suppose I should be grateful that the spider we found in the bed the next morning was a dead one. DO NOT STAY HERE! Even for a night! I think we slept a total of 4 hours, and got out as soon as we could the next morning. I thought Motel 6, being a large chain, would offer better than this. NEVER AGAIN!!

This motel 6 is awful and if motel 6 has any consideration for their brand name then they would shut this place down. If you value your safety and want a good nights sleep you do not want to stay here. There was gang and drug activity going on all night at this motel 6. If I could give negatives stars this place would get negative 5. I couldn't believe my eyes when we entered this room. When you are traveling you already do not expect the best & cleanliness of rooms at roadside motels but this by far was the worst place ever. I think we would have had better accommodations at a rest stop. I wish I could post the pictures & video that took of the roaches both alive & dead in our room & the smoke detector ripped out of the wall & the light fixture hanging by a wire that could have electrocuted the next person who touched it & the slime & mold in the mini fridge & the soap scum & mold In the shower & the shower curtain hanging off the wall & no blankets on the beds only sheets which after thinking about it was probably better, I hate to think people would actually use blankets if they were provided. I stayed here for 2 nights. The room was clean but don't expect any extras from motel 6. Only a bar of soap was in the room. towels were tiny and very thin, they don't have kleenex or clocks in the room. I asked for kleenex and shampoo and they didn't have any. Athough the room was large and the lack of furniture made it seem even bigger. The laminate floor in the rooms made everything sound louder. You could walk down the hall and hear everything in each room. Surprisingly the rooms were quiet though, no noise from the hallway even with the hotel booked full. The young lady and gentleman at the desk when we checked in were very nice. However my mom asked to check in at 1pm instead of the 3pm the next day and the lady working that afternoon was extremely rude. It's fine if the room wasn't ready but no need to be rude. I saw the mixed reviews and decided to dropped in late. The initial apperance was clean yet minimally maintained. There is an attempt at add in a homey touch with flower baskets. The were kept up. As you walk in a small entry to another door, there was a musty smell not sufficating though. The decor was out dated and the interior was clean and mimimally maintained as well. After a bit of confusion cause by the rather large sized sign that says to ring the bell for night service and The front desk clerk, wearing street clothes motioned the door was unlocked...hmm..and then continues being more interested in the electronic in hand and seemed in convienienced by my presence. The clerk did respond quickly, though obvioulsy irritated, when I asked if there were rooms availible. I asked to see the room and was given a rude look and asked why, I responded that i had seen mixed review and would like to see before hand. The clerk huphed and standing and pushing the chair back with a roll of the eye. Stating they have never done that but was going to anyways. At this point I explained I was willing to give this place a shot given the recent review but it seemed to be too much of an incovienece to put the electronic down and provide humane customer service. I excused my self and apologized for "wasting" thier time.. If you take a customer service job have some dignaty and treat the customers like u want to be treat! ridiculous!

We checked in at about 2300 hrs on 02 Sep 2105 and the room we were given had a bad smell: like animal urine. The night clerk was very accommodating and we were moved into the adjacent room which was connected by a "suite" doorway. This room did not smell as bad, but, it did not smell pleasant: fresh, clean, etc. We have stayed at many Motel 6's before and this motel was comparable in other respects, so, I not sure if this was an isolated experience or not. Even though I, regrettably, had to take a shower here (shower walls were gross and the water wouldnt go down the drain, filling the tub), I felt dirtier leaving this place than when I walked in. Several roaches found right from the get go, other people's hairs on bed/pillow, dirty sheets, and just about every surface you touched (floor, phone, even the room service menu) was grossly sticky. Several springs broken on the mattress, leaving you uncomfortably sinking down to the floor until you wake up with a lovely kink in your neck and back that you get to treat with a 10 hour road trip. Been to my share of shady/dirty motels but this one definitely places at least 2nd on my list of nightmare stays. As if all that werent enough, the staff were banging on our door trying to kick us out of the room TWO HOURS BEFORE CHECKOUT. What the hell is that?!?? 10/10 would not recommend

The general manager bull rushed me in the elevator and says to me if I would've waited she would've let me in,, we are guest in your hotel don't be sarcastic with me, long story short we were kicked out for bad mouthing staff...

Loved the price. Disgusted by the filth. I'm more than willing to stay at cheap places if I just need a place to lay my head for a night while on a trip. But, just because it's cheap doesn't mean it should be filthy. When I walked into the room, the first thing I saw was how dirty (or stained?) the blankets on the bed were. It also looked like someone had been sitting on the beds after they were made. There was hair between the sheets in the bed I ended up sleeping on (I wouldn't let my kids sleep in a bed like that). It's a housekeeping issue obviously. As for the hotel in general? It's cheap. Perfect place to get some sleep. Why spend $100 or more just to get some sleep and a shower? But, they need to make sure it's clean. I don't need fluff or luxury, just cleanliness. Other than the issue with the room being dirty, it was a good stay. The man at the front desk was very nice and helpful.

For starters when me and my other group tried to pay for our rooms they would not accept our cash saying they could not break 100 dollar bills.. who doesn't accept cash?.. second the rooms were small and none smoking but both beds had burn holes in the blankets. When I turned on a light swich it literally shocked me! The bathtub was awful and the floors were dirty. And had to pay for WI fi! Seriously if I wouldn't have reserved the rooms I would have went else where.

last of our group checked in early a.m. during middle of last week, motel a bit old and rundown but is bigger and has more meeting space/non-operating kitchen dining room than our local one...were informed that construction/refurbishment in works so most of our negatives should be taken care of, though the worst part was the night check-in agent. he had food stains on his shirt and obvious chewing tobacco chunk in his mouth, i could barely understand what he was saying and the spittle didn't help. He LICKED HIS FINGERS while giving us change and paperwork. got out of there as soon as i could and BATHED my license, room card, etc. in hand sanitizer. if staff is this grungy how bad must rooms be? the guy stated that he lived on site and would come to our room if our TV didn't work...no thanks buddy!!!!

The Desk people were extremely friendly. Staff was very accomondating.cleaning people doing a good job. the hotel itself is starting to look run down compared to how it was a year ago. Paint is chipping off of the walls around air conditioner unit. the units appear to be old and struggling. The bedding had holes in it. Pillows were on the sloppy side have seen better days. Been to lots of other Motel 6 and this is by far the one that is in the worst shape. Even the outside looks poor , as someone has hit the awning and there is a big damage spot. Also the ice machine. is upstairs and if one is disabled it is hard to get to the ice. Should be one on each floor. First appearances count. thank you . Teresa

this motel has come a long way in past 12 months but like I said there is always room for improvement. everytime I make resvations to stay there and put in that I want a lower room with no smoking I expect for them to say yes mr hill we have your room ready for you when I come to check in. the last 2 times I have went to check in after I made reservations they say well the only rooms we have is????? ok stop right there because I made reservations for a reason and I get from the staff well the only rooms we have is??????? no,no,no,no,no then what the hell is the point of making a reservation if they say lets see what we have??????. this has to get better for the customer because we went out of our way to tell them what we want before we get there and I always do my reservations 1 to 2 weeks before I get there. so motel 6 in Turlock please lets get this department doing better and right now I'am being nice about this. The last time I was there they only had a handicap room for me and I felt bad about stay in a room that was not meant for me but that was the only thing they said they had ready. what would have happen if a handicap person needed it and I was staying there?????? who knows????? now don't get me wrong about the motel because I can see better rooms and the grounds look better so yes I will stay there again in a couple of weeks because it has everything around me I could ask for. and last thing I want to say is there are to many poor people on bicycles riding in the parking lot or going in the dumpster and getting cans out or anything they can find to make money on. they will even stand out side your door and ask if you have money or a cig when you are leaving your room. i'am just saying I see it all the time and so does the staff. but over all I would give this motel 6 in Turlock a 7 out of 10 and I know they will get better with time and training.

Avoid this Motel 6 like the plague. I made a tentative reservation with this Motel 6 branch on a 500 mile road trip, but had to stay at another hotel due to unforeseen delays along the way. An insufferably rude clerk from this branch called me at around 12:15 AM, waking me up from a sound sleep, to inform me her manager was going to charge my card in the morning and keep the full amount for a stay that never occurred, which is both contrary to Motel 6's own policy and California law. I had to call my bank and take actions that effectively would block any attempt to illegally and fraudulently charge my card and keep funds for a stay that never occurred. Aside from the shocking irregularity and blatant illegality of this attempt to charge my card for services that were never provided, I was subjected to the unimaginably rude inquisition of an obnoxious, know-nothing clerk at 12:15 AM in the morning. Clearly, the staff of this benighted motel are both utterly incompetent and aggressively offensive to a degree that shocks the conscience. If you can possibly stay at any other motel along your way, you would be well advised to do so and avoid subjecting yourself to the vile ministrations of this disreputable establishment to the very best of you ability. Should you have the grave misfortune of staying at this wretched excuse for a motel, you can reliably expect to be treated with disrespect and discourtesy on a scale that will likely leave you wishing that you had rather slept in your car at a roadside rest area than have endured one minute of conversation with the crude, ill-tempered, serpent-tongued beasts that dwell in dark recesses behind the front desk of this disgraceful hovel of a hotel. Therefore, innocent traveler, I beseech thee, stay ye away from this demonic den of discourtesy and find ye another wayside inn on your journey. Abandon all hope those who enter this Motel 6. You have been warned.

One of the room lights was out, just one bar if soap and one wash cloth for two people to share. Beds had visible dirt and stains left on the sheets, looked as if they hadn't been replaced since the last guest and instead just remade. We called one night before and I asked for the price Lady said its 59.99 and we could check in early next day, that sounded good to us. We got there next day and the Lady said 69.99 plus tax, well this is not even 3 star hotel!! okay we didn't mind she was being greedy. We tried to open the room and a dragon queen came out of the room and ask us what we need..oops!! horrible someone was already in the room!! then they give us another room, it was clean but had a weird smell, not pleasant!! sheets looked clean but old!! I can't say enough good things about this particular motel. The most important. The location, the manager, the staff, the ease of access with large vehicles - particularly trailers. You and your vehicle are safe here. Excellent location. The parking lot is wide, large and extends completely around the building in a large expanse - no pot holes - allowing easy access for any vehicle including 18 wheelers or busses to safely park or pull through - fantastic. Good diner 'Petro' next door - with a 20% discount coupon from this motel. Well maintained grounds to walk your dog. Fuel station nearby. Freeway access almost immediate yet the motel is setback far enough on a frontage road, so that your children and pets are safe from traffic. The Wifi is free/fast and glitch free - a complete pleasure. Staff is beyond helpful and make you feel completely welcome. Rooms are well maintained and clean. Really clean. This is one of the few motels where you feel truly safe and comfortable. Excellent.

Don't expect much. I guess its okay for what its meant for a place to pass the night when on the road. At least the room I got with my family it had a bad odor and when we turned on the heater it just got worse. If there was any I did not figure it out but there was no a/c available in my room and it got warm. The cover on the box frame of the mattress was DIRTY stains and all at glance the covers seem to be clean but we did not want to try it so used our sleeping bags to put over the bed the room was warm enough anyway for blanket use. Some of the people hanging outside of some rooms dont make it feel safe but I guess if you keep to yourself you should be fine. I guess my biggest issue was the room odor.

The motel itself was well-kept and the grounds and surrounding areas were clean. I thought the staff were all very nice. I never noticed any excessive noise or questionable people hanging around. I had 3 big dogs with me, so it was so nice to have a place to stay where they don't want to charge you extra per dog, per day. Over the years and even before I retired I have stayed at Motel Sixes. The rooms are always clean, the rates are affordable, my AARP card extends a discount. It always pays to reserve a room ahead but on my last recent stay in Alamogordo, I popped in around 8 pm and was checked in speedily, the reservation clerk very friendly and efficient. I always tell friends I stay at Motel 6 and find the accommodations very affordable. I have a Motel 6 directory published about two years ago and it is getting very worn. Not a great stay but it did the trick for a night. I surely would not have wanted to stay any more than that though. The rooms are poorly furnished and noisy. The lack of carpeting likely does reduce the amount of dirt and possibility of mold but there is a trade off in the amount of noise from room to room. The biggest complaint I have is that the site advertises an outdoor pool but there isn't one on site. I wouldn't have been so upset if it was off season and the pool was empty but false advertising really upsets me. (note ; Amenities list has been revised since my comment was posted. Customer service was clearly sorry for the misunderstanding and quickly took the steps to correct the error with their webpage.)

Converted from the Yaquine (sp?) Bay Inn, this Motel 6 gave us a king size bed in a room with a partitioned off sitting g room featuring a gas fireplace and a small balcony on the 3rd floor. Cable TV and wireless Internet access was included. As usual, clean and comfortable, though aside from the mentioned amenities, not necessarily luxurious. Hotels desk service was very friendly and helpful. The location has the added bonus of being almost next door to the Rogue Brewing Co. We had the jacuzzi king room which is very good size. However, there was a hole in the ceiling, the window sills were unfinished and the blind next to the jacuzzi was in need of repair or replacement. It was a hot day when we stayed and the front desk loaned us a fan as there was no cooler in the room. The fan made it bearable. Our room was on the west end of the building, which is why it was hot. We recommend getting a room on the east end, which is also more quiet. All in all, it was okay, but for the price, the room should have been in better repair.

I commend the very friendly and professional staff. Its really laid back, clean and chill. You really get what you pay for. A clean quiet room with a decent size flat screen. USB HDMI friendly also. The only thing i hate was the rugged ass towels. They seriously need to get a load of fabric softener. The heat and hot water was also perfect. Overall i would tell a friend who needed somewhere affordable and clean.

This Motel 6 went far above my expectations. The room was super-modern, clean and had ample lighting (which is rare). The staff were pleasant and ready to accommodate. I liked being able to choose which floor to stay on. Love that there's no fee for pets; traveling with 2 dogs has cost me $40 a night at other places. This was the lowest rate for any motel/hotel I could find in the entire Burlington area. Convenient location: just off I-89, right on the border of Burlington, a nice Italian restaurant within walking distance. Highly recommended!!

Horrible! The room was so disgusting. From the small out dated television to the FILTHY room. There was what looked like blood on the bathroom wall! We woke up at 2 am to gun shots. I can't believe they actually charge people to stay there!!! They should have paid me! The bed was awful! The walls were disgusting! They charged us $80 for 2 people?!?!?! The room wasn't worth $10. That motel should be condemned! Seriously should get my money back!!! Someone needs to check this place out! Bring your bio Hazzard clothes!

If you want carpet with flaws covered up with 3 area rugs, the bottom half of the bathroom door skin loose, a bad light switch between the beds, worn out mattresses, and hookers and pimps yelling at each other outside all hours of the night......this is the place for you. I have stayed here many times since it was a Red Roof Inn in the 90's. It has gone steadily down hill since Motel 6 took over, and I can't imagine ever staying there again. The No Trespassing No Soliciting signs hanging from the second floor balcony say a lot about this Motel 6

Staff were friendly. Room clean and functional if a little tired. Crazy people seem to like the area, woman in room below smoked a LOT of dope, my Non Smoking room had obviously been smoked in and was woken up by screaming people in the street fighting. But it's cheap... weirdly it looked a lot more inviting at night all lit up and bright than in the day time when it looks a lot worse!

The motel is affordable but very untidy. The bathroom is a mess. It looks like someone just vacated the room than we got in. This bathroom tube is very dirty and smells fresh. The bed sheets have steams on them. I am going to request new sheets. I have no option (I am very tire) but to close my eyes and sleep but leave as early as possible. Motel 6 in Massachusetts are much more better than the once in Memphis. NTR

The room was clean but it was definitely needing a fresh renovation. I do know some of their rooms have been renovated and we weren't lucky enough to get in one of those. We were charged the high price of $78.00 (tax included) for the outdated room which disappointed me because I had specifically chose that hotel because of the newly renovated rooms I had seen before. It was quite embarrassing for me because my out of town guests had heard all about h ok w nice the rooms were! On a lighter note the guy at the front desk was very nice and friendly person. I was pleased with guest services 100%! ;) They sure do have a friendly staff!!!

I would not ever stay in this hotel again. I'm not a picky person when it comes to staying in cheap motels overnight but this room was awful. We had a king room booked and they overbooked so we got two twin beds. One of the beds looked like a child wet the bed and the sheets were never changed (I'm not exaggerating, I think this is what might have happened). The bathroom and shower were either not cleaned or so grimy and dirty at this point that they wouldn't come clean. I felt gross after taking a shower there in the morning. A large group of teens or 20s were partying and drinking all night inside and outside the rooms going in and out slamming the doors. People who didn't seem to be staying in the motel kept driving in and out of the parking lot, stopping in spots for a while sometimes, then leaving. We got there very late and left very early on a road trip so we didn't have time to complain and then wait for fixes or try to get refund, find another hotel, then move everything, so we just dealt with it. Do not stay at this motel.

This motel is the worst I have ever seen in my entire life. The room is so dirty that I found a cockroach on the bed at night. And then I turned on the light and realized there were at least five cockroaches crawling on my backpack. There is something wrong with the toilet that it flushes by itself every five minutes and make noise that keeps you from falling asleep. The environment is bad, nothing like the pictures. Worst ever.

Horrible we fount this motel off the map we were traveling to New Orleans for my birthday weekend we stayed at this motel 6 . First thing I did was take a shower I walked on the floor by the time I went to bed 20 minutes later my feet were literally black from the nasty floor . I was completely blown away by this motel 6. At 75$ for a king room, i was given a full kitchenette with a half sized fridge with freezer, stove with 2 electric burners, sink, and multiple cabinets for storage. The ONLY thing i didn't like, but didn't detract from the room, was the hard wood style floors. It was nice, but a little hard to walk around in bare feet. I would ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND this for price, location, and service.

I've been staying there weekly while working in the area. My only complaint is when I request a mini fridge, they can't guarantee one will be available. Why??? Even when I book my room well in advance. I bring food with me for the week and need one. How is it that they can't guarantee a fridge when I book my room that far in advance? I showed up this past Sunday night, my room had no fridge even though I requested one. But a very nice housekeeping lady located one and I carried it to my room. If I show up next week and there is no fridge available, I will have no choice but to go elsewhere. Also, the desk attendants should all be as friendly and helpful as Courtney. Give that girl a raise.

I stayed for 2 nights at this hotel and it was clean and the front desk was very pleasant and congenial. When I made my reservation over the phone, the lady who helped me was nice. I made future reservations to return again with my family.

The staff was accommodating but house keeping was absolutely horrible. To start the room reeked of smoke, beds are only made every 3 days if your lucky, towels are only provided every few days. The maid left a review on the towels but was too lazy to even place them on the rack, just threw them on the dresser. Also didn't bother letting the guests know you wouldn't have hot water for over 12 hrs because of a maintenance issues. Police patrol the parking lot and seen security patrolling the property. Would not recommend unless your looking for a cheap place to stay.

Well I had 2 different rooms and both were terrible. In the first room, the carpets were soaked by the restroom. Then i went to go pee and it turns out that the toilet was broken because crap overflowed out of the toilet. That same night we also spotted cockroaches in our room so we asked to be moved. They moved us to a room with full size beds ( other room had queen). When we finally get to the other room, there were cockroaches in the microwave. What I am saying is don't waste your money on this establishment... If your looking for a good place to stay try Super 8. They serve free breakfast and you don't have to waste your money on WiFi.

If we could give it 0 or negative stars we would. Rooms were musty. We changed one of the rooms right off the bat. There is NO breakfast. The pool had children and a dog that were unsupervised and the dog should have been taken outside but peed in the pool room. One of the pool windows had been boarded up for some time as it was soggy and dark (mold?). We wanted to leave but they would not refund our money after only a couple of hours. We left anyway and found other accommodations. Don't book this place, you'll be sorry. Trying to get our refund took longer than we were booked in. During that time 4 other people came to the desk to ask for room changes.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!Visited this place last week and had a horrible experience (credit card fraud). When checking in, I was told by the receptionist that they only have one room available that hasn’t been cleaned yet. I was hesitant about renting a room that hasn't cleaned after someone, but decided to take a look to see how bad it is. She kept my credit card as a collateral and gave me the keys for the room, which turned out to be a HUGE mistake. As I expected, the room was not in a condition to be rented out whatsoever. It is just unbelievable that they even thought about renting a room that was totally trashed. After looking at the condition of the room, I politely went up to the receptionist and told her that I have no interest in staying at this location. I returned the keys and got my credit card back and ended up staying at Scotsman Inn. Everything was fine until I checked my credit card history by my arrival. Apparently, this place charged me for the full price of the room when I didn’t even agree to stay. I called this location this afternoon regarding the false transaction that went through. All they said is, they are trying to figure it out and kept on putting off my refund. I honestly think I’m not getting my money back. So disappointed in their shitty service and the way they handle false transaction. Don’t ever go to this place.

Reception staff were excellent. Upper floor is half & half smoking/non-smoking, (fine for the smokers, not so for the non-smokers). Bed not made for 5 of 5 days, cleaning staff didn't attend room for 2 of 5 days, (or at least they didn't do anything or replace soaps etc if they did go in.) Outside smoking immediately outside main entry so guest coming and going are subjected to second hand smoke and the odor permeates into the lobby. I think I can do better for $80.00/night.

This is literally the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. I have stayed at my fair share of hotel's and this Motel 6 is, by a million miles far, the WORST! Last year the old GM tried to get into a physical altercation with me and just today i had yet another horrible experience. I had a mix up on payment and i was trying to work it out with the staff and i got verbally abused by the head maid and then had 2 different front desk attendants telling me completely different things and then proceeding to be rude absolutely rude to me and one of the ladies was stoned out of her mind. And then to top things off they kicked me out because of their mistake. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!

For the money you can't beat staying here right off the high and minutes from any where. I have stayed here several times and every time I was met by a very nice woman working the night desk. Yes the rooms are a bit ran down but not bad for a 1-2 star hotel. Every room I've stayed in was clean and the non smoking rooms where just that smoke free. Do not let people scare you with your reviews of this site. My wife and I stayed here when my father was in the hospital and It was one of the best Motel 6 experience I've ever had. I can't say much about the friendliness of the staff because besides check in and out I never had contact with them. Some people are complaining about the smell and feeling unsafe. People Marijuana is legal here. No matter where you go your going to smell it. The only place it was even strong was in the elevator. Even then it wasn't overpowering. You will smell it everywhere you go. Unlike other reviewers neither my wife or I ever felt threatened or unsafe here. The location is awesome. Your less then 5 minutes away from a mall. Restaurants choices right around the hotel are outstanding. All in all it was outstanding. If your planning on staying in Denver stay here. The drive to go anywhere isn't bad and you'll save money.
