ROCHESTER, MINNESOTA -- After a very frustrating stay at Clarion, Rochester, Mn, I tried to convert the points I received in the Choice Hotels rewards program for this visit. I wanted these 2400 points to go to my airline account, and emailed their corporate "contact us" page three times, to request the transfer. The only response I ever received was a canned email saying "we're working on it," and the request was totally ignored. This is the saddest rewards program I have ever encountered.

TEXAS -- Called after AC went in the summer in Texas. Sent someone I could only find one review for in Yelp. He was late, dishonest, and late again. Did not do the work right and Choice Home Realty said the rest of the repairs were not covered as they are "secondary repairs". When I argued that the repairs were never done I was told the first time he came was diagnostic... If that is so how could any other repairs be secondary... Then the "service manager" hung up when I asked to speak to her manager. Avoid Choice Home Warranty.

ALABAMA -- I had a service man that Choice sent out. He checked my dryer and told me that the timer was bad, and the switch was broken on the door and when I opened it, it wouldn't stop spinning. To make a long story short they offered me $300 which will not replace my dryer. I have to wait 30 days before I can get my check in the mail to buy another dryer. I will be canceling this warranty. It is not worth the trouble.

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA -- I took out a 6-year warranty. Stove was out of commission for 8 weeks over Christmas and Thanksgiving with Choice Home Warranty sending three different companies to look at it. They told me they had to order the part but when I called the company direct they said they could get me the part in two days. Washing machine was looked at right away but before new pump was installed the company doing the repairs told me they would not do anything for CHW anymore as they didn't pay their bills. Dishwasher was out of commission for 6 weeks with two different companies looking at it.

CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA -- Please do not waste your money with this company, they cover NOTHING!!! And literally tell the contractors they send out what to say so they won't have to pay for claims... Please choose another company. This is nothing but a scam.

HORN LAKE, MISSISSIPPI -- This is at the Sleep Inn (a Choice Hotel) in Horn Lake, MS. Room one #234, as we were unpacking I found a tick crawling up the wall over our bed. I got the tick and took it to the front desk and was asked if I wanted another room and I said yes. Room two #238, when we got to the room the new room key would not work so I went back to the front desk and he came to the room with a master key to open the door and said he needed to replace the batteries in the door lock.

I paid $60 to the air conditioning tech and he got back to me to say that Choice will not pay for my repair. It would cost me $450.00 out of pocket for him to go further. Completely against the contract for materials and labor.

DENVER, COLORADO -- I booked a hotel for a Tuesday night and when I called to check my reservations for the hotel they did not have me booked. It turns out Choice Hotels had booked me for Monday night and I had been charged for it but was never there. When I called to talk to Choice Hotels on the phone to resolve the issue they had me on hold for over an hour and then told me they could not help me and that they would have to talk to the IT guy to see if it was the computer system's fault or my own fault and they would get back to me in 7 business days.

EDISON, NEW JERSEY -- I have had their service for 4 months with horrible experiences. The air conditioning went out after 3 days and they could not find a repair co. I live 10 miles from Fresno, CA., one million people. I found a company to fix the A/C. It took them two months to repay me. Three weeks later the A/C went out again. The same company fixed it. Have not been repaid in 3 months. Water leaks in laundry room reported and 3 days later they still could not get a repair company to fix it. I found one online in 10 minutes. They denied the claim. I had a water pipe broken and they said it was not covered. They are the worst company I have ever done business with.

The website looks like this is a large respectable business it is anything but. Never make reservations on this website. The information provided on the webpages are for all practical purposes useless. The customer services phone numbers are useless. Never commit to any reservation online with this company's web page. Small hotels subcontract for these internet services. The hotel will blame all reservation problems on whatever the Choice entity is that produces the website for reservations. The Choice customer service will not ever alter or fix any problem saying it is not their responsibility. I have gotten some capable personnel on the phone who will still do nothing and I have gotten extremely rude personnel on the phone who will just hang up on you.

I've been booking at Choice Hotels for years. I've had many problems getting into the website and talked to numerous customer service agents who could not help me get in. I was told I'd never registered, but when I tried to register I get a message that I already had an account. Another time I was told the system was down. I have an account that I can't get into and the customer service people were not trained to help me. So after numerous tries and I finally get someone that gets me in. Yea. I get in and have points for a free stay which I booked.

We decided to try Choice Privileges for a 12 hour trip to get the two separate stay rewards - this was in May. Our privilege card came today, in October. I called to get the information, because there was no log in information associated - I wasn't even sure which number was our account number and the letter included was no help. After calling, I was given a representative who was very hard to understand. We had a ton of issues just to actually locate the account, and then find out that we did not qualify for a free stay and actually don't even have enough points for a room for one night after 5 nights of rooms twice. We should have stuck with our Hilton Honors and will from now on.

Choice Rewards program Promotions are unlikely to apply to a stay due to restrictions even the hotels do not know about and Member Services abilities to assist us are nearly zero. We have several hotel programs we belong to without issue unlike Choice.. We stayed consecutive nights on two separate occasions between 9-15-2015 and 10-1-2015. We signed up with the first hotel to participate in their promotion to receive a free night if we stayed 2 different times between 9/3/2015 and 11/11/2015. The hotel desk said our stay at the first location would qualify as 1 stay.

We signed up for Choice Hotel rewards on a road trip recently. At the hotel where we signed up, we were told that we have one of two needed stays & then our third stay will be free. We stayed at a sexing hotel, then at the third hotel, they said that the first stay didn't count, so we paid for the 3rd night. Then on our 4th attempt to get our free night, we were told that the third night had not posted yet, so we were unable to get the free night. We stayed somewhere else. All of our attempts to stay at the Choice Hotels involved multiple phone calls & great frustration. Now today, I called again to try & get our free room after staying 3 nights which all should have posted, only to be told, that the free hotel is dependent on points earned, not nights stayed. This is the first we've heard of this. We are so frustrated & will NEVER stay in another Choice HOTEL. BEWARE!!!

Choice Hotels promotes, stay 2 nights, receive 1 free. Stay 2 nights, receive $50 gift card. None, and I mean none of these promotions are valid. I lost a bunch of points a year ago, so I ask before I trusted these guys again. Every time I checked in, I was told all I have to do is book online to receive free nights or gift cards. Another lie, I called today to receive gift cards for Christmas, they said I never registered? Then they said, I had to use my points to receive cards? Terrible corporate relations. Like the old saying, if it seems too good to be true, beware! Please don't stay there, and by using your account you pay higher rates.

This is a complaint. I could not find the link to a complaint for the Choice Hotel. I made a reservation ** for 10/19/15 - 10/26/15 for business. I found a better rate and cancelled the weekend before **. I was charged $146.56, even though I cancelled more than 24 hours in advance. I've stayed at Choice Hotels before and never had an issue. 1) I did not receive a booking email for confirmation of reservation nor did I receive 1 for cancellation. Also, there is not any type of disclosure that stated I would be charged if I canceled at all.

We started off with a room that stunk. At 11:00 banging next door until 1:00, then they stopped and banging until 2:00 from up above. The room was gross and had stains everywhere. By 10:00 a.m. no hot or warm water for a shower. Awful night!

In late August, my husband and I stayed at the Comfort Suites Hotel on Paradise Island, Nassau, the Bahamas to celebrate my 60th birthday. The Choice Hotels company website mentions Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and embraces a culture of diversity but if that was the intent of this hotel, then they failed miserably by any standard.

I used the promotion stay two nights and receive a free night. So my free night got 5000 points which is actually half a night. I am a gold member and I expected to have some privileges. So I accumulate 30.000 points good for 3 free nights. I try to use them at Quality Inn on the River in Glenwood Springs CO. The customer service offered me a room with a king bed for my points. Me and my husband have problems and we use two queen beds, not one. On my preferences I have 2 queen beds, non smoking room. They have rooms available of my choice but for my points I may get their preferences like I ask for something which I am not entitled. Finally I have to book with Rodeway Inn in Glenwood Springs - they accepted my choice.

I stayed in Choice inns 7 times in 2014. The program was advertised that you stay for 2 nights and they would get 1 night free. My wife and I stayed 7 nights and tried several times to get our free nights. Except for 1 occasion, we were told we did not have enough "points" for the free night. The one night we were given a free night, we cancelled because the inn was a dump. Customer service and the customer service supervisor (Chris) were of no help whatsoever, either could not help or did not appear to care about the problem. I am finished with Choice.

We stayed at a Choice Hotel in Jackson, TN. We pre-registered for the Choice Hotel in Downtown Nashville. We arrived at 11:45. We were not happy with the room. The hotel is old and has not been updated. We were told we could not get our money back. The website states you have until 4:00 to cancel a reservation. We did not stay there and our credit card was charged. The manager claims we left and said we might be back. We never said we would be back and never will. It is about time Choice get their act together.

I have consistently had problems with the rewards program being manipulated in the businesses' favor. I recently stayed at one of their hotels from 22 August thru 17 September for a total of 27 days. They have a program if you stay more than 14 consecutive days you will receive 5000 bonus points. Additionally, I stayed at another of their hotels on the 18 of September. Since their fall promotion program started on 3 September they chose to give me the fall promotion rather than my 5000 points for my consecutive stay. So instead of getting my points for my long stay I was told they split my long stay in half so I would only be eligible for the fall program. They split to their advantage.

In April I booked a 3-night stay in Pacific, MO online through ChoicePrivileges.com for July. I specifically made sure that I could cancel should I not be able to attend this function. The website even said you could cancel up until the night before without any charges. At the beginning of July, I tried to cancel my reservation and was told that it was a guaranteed reservation and they were unable to cancel. Calling Choice Privileges was a joke -- couldn't get anyone that spoke English. I called the hotel several times and got the same answer. I did try to take this up with my credit card company, and unfortunately no luck. I have filed a claim with the BBB. I even tried to book again through the website, to see if I missed something in small print saying I would not be able to cancel, and could not find anything. Choice Privileges is a SCAM. And you can never get your "free night" as advertised. I will never stay at a Choice Hotel as long as I live.

Stayed at the Quality Inn (3100 Queens City Drive, Charlotte) near Charlotte, NC Airport the evening of 5/16. Due to hotel negligence in not registering me in room properly, another family was let into my room during my absence. In this process my iPad was stolen out of my room. When I noticed and reported the missing iPad to hotel staff, their response was very apathetic. No one knew what to do. So I called police due to their apathetic/no-nothing attitude. A police report was filed.

June 27 I was sent an e-mail from Choice Hotels stating I had earned a $50 gift card. I picked Walmart - never received it. Called today (Sept. 4) - first person I spoke to didn't speak any English. Second person Julius said "Oh that e-mail wasn't from Choice Hotels.” I asked to speak to supervisor. Shante (who said she was a supervisor and later admitted she wasn't but was acting as one) wanted a copy of e-mail - which I forwarded to her. She then said I didn't qualify for gift. The e-mail stated in bold letters that I had earned a $50 card. I asked her for corporate address because I was angry and that is when she had trouble hearing me. It is no surprise that when I looked at other complaints that there were so many. Well, I guess I'm not going to give them any more of my business.

My online confirmation did not go through. We went to another hotel. The online confirmation went through later and I was charged for a room I didn't stay in. Fighting to get reimbursed. 4 to 6 weeks to receive a refund. If they do!

Checked in late after hours of driving to a run-down, dirty Roadway hotel, 777 Vine, LA. After trying to sleep less than 4 hrs, my husband and I started getting bites so we packed up, not willing to stay more nights. Took 3 days of driving to get home. At this point the car is filled with bed bugs and we have multiple bites on our arms, legs and backs. Think twice before you stay in this hotel.

False Advertisements - I booked a room on Choice Hotels.com and I found a lower rate on booking.com and Choice hotels did not honor their free night policy... They basically lowered the rate and said that the hotel matched the rate and the hotel has the right to lower the rate and even though I submitted the claim before they lowered the rate I would not get the free night.

I am not writing as someone who had bed bugs or mold in tub, or unclean sheets, but as someone who was a loyal member. I never had any of the above problems and in fact, stay in hotels about 200 nights a year. I started as a member a couple of months ago and was at Platinum level. I was going to start to use Choice exclusively but I found out that as a member, I pay higher prices than anyone else. Online, a hotel was $98.00 (does not qualify for member points), I called hotel directly and they wanted $138.00 and I called the Choice membership number and they quoted me $168.00. All same, hotel Wenatchee WA. Comfort Suites (very nice and clean hotel by the way).

In March 2015, I made reservations for my mother and myself to stay in a Choice Hotel in Crossville, TN. I am retiring to this area and used this hotel in the past and loved it. However, instead of using Expedia or another form of booking, I used the Choice card. I paid $622 upfront. Two weeks before we were taking the trip, my mother was critically injured by a drunk driver. I contacted the airlines (paid a $200 penalty), the rental car agency (paid $25 penalty) and then the hotel directly. The hotel told me that while they receive the money, I needed to cancel through Choice. I did. It was then that I found out that not one penny of my $622 would be refunded. I was stunned. They were polite enough to tell me if my mother died, I could send them the death certificate.

I stayed at an Extended Stay Hotel in Myrtle Beach, SC. Was very disappointed. Woke up to bedbugs. Reported and took pictures. Management was very rude and tried to say that I brought them with me when I have never had an issue or problem. Did not know what a bedbug looked like until I googled my picture. They did not want to properly handle i.e. make sure there were no hitchhikers when I checked out, apologize for the inconvenience or give me a refund. They instead tried to give me the runaround even after searching the bedbug registry finding out there was an infestation less than 10 feet away at a neighboring hotel. They even insinuated that I brought them from the hospital after visiting my mother who had a heart attack.

My story started on Friday the 9th of October of 2015. I was working and got a call from a man saying that Comfort Inn had a problem with my credit card. I told the man that it was not my problem that my card was working fine and couldn't talk at work and hung up. Then on Saturday night about 7:30 I got another call from the same man telling me that they still had a problem. I ask "how I know that you are calling from Comfort Inn." He answered by telling me my choice privileges number, my address, my room # and the room that I stayed in the week before. Then he proceeded to ask for my credit card info because he only had the last 4 digits which he rattled off. I then told him that I did not give information like that over the phone. I went down to the front desk to ask what the problem was and they knew nothing about it. I ask how some random person got my information and they didn't know that either.

First let me start by saying we loved our stay!!!!! We wanted to take this time to tell you about a few ladies who made our stay more pleasant than we could have ever thought. The first is the cleaning lady who serviced our room. Isabell took such great care of our room... with having two children with us who can be quite messy she really kept things in order and very well kept. She is very polite and never complained. We just loved her.

Beware! "Choice" Privileges does not seem to care about you or your complaints. Travelling on 21-22 of November, needing to stay at a motel along the way, and not knowing how far I would be able to travel on the 21st, three reservations at motels at 5, 6 and 7 hours along the route were made with the intent of cancelling the two motels before cancellation deadlines. As it turned out, the weather made the roads treacherous and we had to stop after the first hour and stay at a motel overnight to wait for the weather to pass. Motel reservations made for the 5th and 7th hours accepted the cancellation without problem. But the 6th hour motel, made through Choice Privileges had a notice in small lettering on their web page that indicated a "This reservation cannot be cancelled, changed or refunded."

Early August traveling to Massachusetts, my wife and I need to stay the night. We called several places and found Choice Hotel near the airport in Warwick Rhode Island had one of the only rooms available. We checked in after 1130 pm. When I went to checked in, the woman behind the counter was pleasant, however, was very inundated being alone. The phone was ringing off the hook. It took about 10 minutes to check in. During that time, there were several "guests" walking in and out of the place. They were looking around each time and at me... not sure why. After check in, I parked in the guest parking area and my wife and I entered the building in one of the entrances where the lock to the building was completely removed. Anyone can walk in and out. We entered our room and seemed pleased with it. It is now midnight and we went right to sleep.

I went to Weatherford Tx to visit my daughter and grandbabies. I stayed at one of the Choice Hotels for 3 nights. On my last night one of my granddaughters was getting on the elevator.. as she entered it she put her hand up on the door as it opened. When she did it pulled her hand in between the door and wall all the way up to her wrist. My daughter was screaming for help but no one came. I got her out and stopped long enough to tell lady at desk we were taking her to the ER. All she said was, ok. When I returned I asked for manager to call my room.. no one did.

I made a hotel reservation through the internet about two weeks ago for a stay at the Econo Lodge in Princeton, IL for three nights. My plans have changed so I went to cancel the three night reservation and was told that I could NOT cancel it, because I got too good of a hotel rate. The rude person on the phone said I should have known that it could not be cancelled since I made the reservation. I did not see that throughout any of the on-line reservation process and can only say that the website must be very deceptive. When the reservation was email to me there was no mention of the CANNOT cancel policy. In fact the following is a direct quote from the email I received: GUARANTEE POLICY: Your room will be held until 7:00 AM the morning following your scheduled arrival date. If you do not arrive and do not cancel your reservation by the cancellation deadline, your credit card will be charged 1 night's stay plus tax.

understanding the Clarion Inn located at 5252 New Jesup Highway, Brunswick Ga was on the lower end of the Choice Hotels food chain, I was really disappointed in the customer service my husband and I received on our visit 6/28/17. The room renovations as advertised had been completed and looked okay, even though the laminate flooring in room 109 where we were staying just for one night, was really spongy and moved quite a lot, but when 6 am arrived, as the time for the free Deluxe HOT breakfast, as advertised we discover there was NO milk for the cereal,NO coffee, unless you made it yourself, NO juice, biscuits, bacon, sausage, only waffles and we were not even sure there would be syrup for those. When we inquired as to what was the problem, the only reply given, was HE will not order what we need and WE are not allowed to go to the store and get the supplies. We will recommend this place to family and friends NO and we will stay here again the answer to that would have to be a NO also. This was our first attempt at lodging at the Clarion Inn and it will be the last. Off to the local McDonalds for our breakfast which was very good.

I stayed in a Rodeway in Surfside Beach, SC. I was put in a suite with a small kitchen. There were NO pots and pans in the cupboard. But that wasn't the worst to come. There were spiders in the room and my service dog and my husband were bit. There was plastic wrapping on the mattresses. Was hard to sleep as it made noise whenever you moved. But that wasn't the worst, yet to come. The place was being used as a hookers room service above us.When I went to check out the guy was having a argument with one of these girls about which room she could have and something about the bed smelled.EWWWWWWWWWW....Was over priced and a miserable stay.RUN FOR YOU LIFE> Scary place...

Comfort Suites Amish Country PA186 Without a doubt, one of my favorite hotels; Period. We were here for four months in 2017, and typically spend months on the road for business . We were warmly greeted with smiles every time we walked through the door, and the staff couldn’t be friendlier; they live in the area, so don’t hesitate to ask for directions. Despite their location on a busyish road, no road noise was heard in any of the rooms, and it’s a central location for Amish Country tourism. There was always a hot breakfast waiting in the morning, and a Family restaurant next door. Rooms were clean, linens always fresh, heat/AC was on to make it comfortable (seasonality), and the housekeeping was simply top-notch! Occasionally, wi-fi was spotty (reported by co-worker), but I never experienced internet connectivity problems! I found this to be a great value for the money -service was attentive and efficient. If anything, book early as they tend to fill up quickly. I look forward to my next visit out here and the new friends I’ve made. Safe Travels!

My husband and I* stayed at the Comfort Inn in Petersburg, VA I will never stay at a Comfort Inn again! The bathroom toilet bowl was filthy, the bottle of lotion on the vanity was empty. When pulling back the covers on one of the beds, it was truly evident that the sheets had not been changed since the last visitor. Shame on the housekeepers. My husband went down to the desk to complain and he was given a clean set of sheets which we had to put on ourselves. The coffee at what they called breakfast was horrible. None of the staff was friendly. goodbye Comfort Inn You will never see my face again and I will be sure to tell all my friends, who also travel, to stay away!

I am staying in the hotel on Texas Ave. in College Station. Almost as good as waking up to my mom's breakfast! Irma who says she has worked here 14 years fixing breakfast does a wonderful job of cooking and keeping things clean. I just learned the health department visited her recently and took her picture for receiving 3 100's in scoring in one year! All the fellows who I spoke to at the desk were really helpfu in making my reservation and changing it a couple of times. My room was spotlessly clean and the bed heavenly. This will be my home away from home when I come to College Station and now know which hotel to choose when traveling.

We are staying here this weekend. The room is nice and clean. The staff was very cordial when I checked in. I only have one complaint. We have a pet with us, and she is very old. They gave us a 2nd floor room. I explained that our dog couldn't go up and down stairs well and was there any way we could be on the 1st floor. The lady told us no. There are 3 room under us currently unoccupied and we are having to carry our dog up and down the stairs. If you have a situation similar to mine, I would ask for the bottom floor in advance. I guess I just assumed that the pet friendly room would be on the bottom floor.

Can't say enough great things about this place. The rooms were surprisingly large. The entire hotel was extremely clean. The front desk was eager to help and very friendly. The support staff around the hotel were polite and helpful as well. The pool area was very nice. Hotel was recently renovated and looks brand-new. We will be back next Spring Break!

Do not, i repeat do not stay at this dump. This place has the worse customer service. First of all my sister booked rms in advance for a family reunion in the area scheduled for 1 wk or so July 17- July 24 2014. The price seemed really gd $250/wk (should've known something was wrong then), anyways we drove all the way from Boston, Ma and when we were in Virginia got a call from the front desk person saying they had given our reserved rms away, stating that they try to chg the credit card and it declined. But since when do you get charged before you chk in or chk out of a hotel, we could've called to cancel or anything! You do not give up someone's confirmed rm for ANY REASON unless THEY call to cancel!. So know every 1 in the van were boiling mad, then she perceeded to laugh at us abt the situation, we were adamant that once we arrive in millington we were getting a rm. Come to the find out the local police were familiar with this hotel doing this kind of thing, which led us to believe their in cahoots with each other , so it wasn't worth the time trying to fight with them after traveling abt 24hrs. Luckily we found the Comfort Inn that had wonderful service nearby and i will be writing a review on their website of all the great staff there. Also we actually saw the hotel(Quality Inn) during our stay, my gosh we were soooo happy we didn't stay there. Looked over crowded and shabby, trust me you'll be disappointed if you stay there, not trying to sound like a hater because of what they did to us but i wouldn't have wrote this much if it weren't true!

For the price, this is a good hotel. It's not the Plaza Hotel by any means, but the showers were clean, the fridge was cold, and the TV got a few channels. The WiFi wasn't very good, but I didn't expect it to be since it was a very inexpensive hotel.

My husband and I stayed a week until our house was ready for moving in. We paid 259.00 for a room that had a small kitchenette. The kitchen was not cleaned at all because when we brought a few groceries in we placed the bags on the counter and they were sticking to it. The sink was absolutely filthy and I had to clean it. the toilet ran after every flush and we had to lift the top up and put the floater back down every time. above the door there was a ball of dead bugs etc wrapped in cobwebs. the tub was dirty with stains in it as if it had not been cleaned so I bleached it down. the telephone had all types of dirt on the earpiece and buttons and I had to clean that as well. the beds were ok but they were really small and the bathroom was so small you had to scoot on the side of the toilet to be able to close it. This hotel was not the best in the world and I will never recommend anyone to stay here. We will never come back to stay here either.

Went to Bradenton for a funeral. Due to a large soccer tournament in the area, all motels were booked up. I called around to try to find a room. This was the only motel that seemed interested in helping with our predicament of finding a room. I have stayed in some of the finest hotels in America (no exaggeration). This motel was just as luxurious, or more than any other I have stayed in. The staff was absolutely top notch, attending to our every need. Every single employee I encountered was polite and concerned with the quality and comfort of our stay. *****5 STARS !!!

I liked this place so much the week prior I decided I would book another stay there for the week during June. June 14 - June 21. Tuesday morning I left to go to work and hung my do not disturb sign on the door, came back and my PISTOL was stolen from my hotel room!!! The manager Bill didn't seem the least bit concerned and actually tried to say it was more likely a guest than his non-english speaking staff. He goes and gets his door lock reader and the thing is so out of calibration it takes him 25 minutes just to figure out the correct times; which still seem fishy. Obviously I called the police and submitted a report. The day before I left the staff didn't clean my room, and I called William again and he acted like it was natural not to clean the room, yet still offered me a discount on my room. The most terrible experience ever!

It's an alright hotel, not amazing but not the worst either. As others have said, the wifi was terrible. Good enough to load Facebook posts but not to stream any videos. The rooms are spacious and breakfast is good. Our main problem was that there had been "complaints" about our dog barking. He isn't used to being in a hotel and hearing all the people, but we kept the "do not disturb" sign on the door when we were gone because he would bark alot if someone were to come in the room. So because of this we had to ask for some extra towels a couple times. The manager, Bill, seemed very upset that we kept asking for towels. In fact, he was keeping a log of how often we had asked, which was only 3-4 times during our 4 day stay. He also said that we should get something from a drugstore to help keep our dog calm; basically telling us to drug our dog. In my opinion, and my wife and her family's, our dog wasn't making too much noise to warrant thses complaints. Especially for a hotel that is "pet friendly", where you can expect to see and hear dogs. Bottom line, it has not been a good experience and we will not be staying here again.

Driving through the night from Ohio to Florida, around 2 AM. I was beginning to feel the effects of sleep deprivation. I checked hotels in the area at a rest stop and found Quality Inn, it was the only passable hotel in the area in my price range. So I stopped by and asked if I could get a room. The lady at the desk was nice enough but after gettin my info she told me she couldn't rent me a room. Said it was the policy, you need to be 21, I'm 5 months away from that. I said okay, and left. But I was deeply torn up inside that any hotel would have that policy especially if there isn't a casino for miles or even a bar. Dumb policy. Dangerous policy. I ended up just driving the next 12 hours straight through with no rest. Sucks any place would turn away a customer because of their age.

Not too happy. Call and get reservations and get a discounted quote. Check into motel and he first of all can't find it but let us check into room. They called us to come pay (even though there was a credit card number given on the phone when it was reserved). It was more than what was quoted on the phone first of all. This motel is musky, evidence of mice with hole in the wall, moldy wall where it is evident that there had been a leak from the shower pipes, there are no bottom sheets on beds, frig doesn't work correctly, don't know about shower yet but we will see about that in the morning. We booked this because we were going to save a little money (according to reservation) but in fact what we were actually charged it would have been same price as the one we stayed last night but much better facilities. Don't stay here, check others out in the area.

First of all they tried to charge $10 for my service dog. The water pressure from the shower was horrible...the shower head shot water to the ceiling and onto the floor. The pillows were flat and hard. There was a room heater in the bathroom, right next to the shower/tub combo. There was mold around the toilet. The shower wall was soft and spongy behind the insert. The TV was large but the volume was shot. On the bright side, no bed bugs! Would NOT ever recommend anyone staying here unless you are desperate on a cold winters night.

I was completely disgusted at the parasitic level of greed that i experienced at this motel. While driving from Denver to Sacramento it was recommended that I pull off into Rawlings, WY because there were a lot of little motels. It was 2 AM when I stopped and I found that most of the hotels on this strip were full. The motels get seedier further they are from the freeway exit. Towards the end of the strip I saw a Travel Lodge across the street from an Econo-lodge,Both looked sleazy at first glance. I went to the travel lodge first but was put off by the group of men hanging around the entrance to the lobby, drinking beer, and the two dirty mattresses leaning up against the side of the building. Gross! No thanks! So I went across the street to the econo-lodge. I had been driving for 12 hours and could hardly stand up. The woman took one look at me, I was visibly exhausted. She saw my desperation and told me that there was only one room left but I could have it for $120.00. A mere ten dollars more than they charge at the Sheraton in Denver. Then a man's voice came from another room saying "charge her $130. I was so tired that I dropped my cash about four times, trying to count out the money I had budgeted for three nights at motels that are not run by parasitic greed mongers. This took more than half of it. Instead of giving me a key she gave me a piece of paper and sent me across the street, the the motel I had just rejected. She kept saying, it is clean, come back if you don't like it. I was simply too tired to fight it. Out of curiosity, I asked the guy at the desk if he had any other vacancies and he said they had plenty of rooms. So they lied and ripped me off, charging $130.00 for a total shit-hole with dirty carpets, that I slept in for a total of six hours. Avoid this place. Don't feed the greed machine! Karma is a bitch and they just earned a whole pant-load of it.

We came here two years ago and it was fine. Very worth the money. This stay, however... Came for my son's birthday. We understand this is the least expensive hotel with a pool in town, but the lock on our inside door doesn't even work. The pool water made my son break out in a rash, and the orange juice at breakfast tasted like cheap wine...I could have chipped a tooth on the biscuits the teenage buffet attendant had clearly over microwaved. There are light bulbs missing from the lamps. The bedding. Let's start with the fact that it's all starched to hell and smells like grandpa's closet, then move into when you pull the covers back to go to sleep there are no fitted sheets. Just a cheap fleece mattress cover that is made for a twin bed, and two flat sheets. The blankets have holes. Burn holes. Good luck sleeping anyway because the tweekers fighting across the hall and selling drugs outside your door and yelling at someone on their cell phone will wake your kids up about 5 times through the night. Then, when you wake up, there will be no hot water...and then you gotta wait for a scary 60 yr old drug addict with fire red hair in a bikini (that you listend to fighting drunkenly next door most of the night) to stop making out with her abusive boyfriend in the hot tub before your kids can swim again. But my mother in law wasn't there, and the WiFi worked most of the time, and my 6 yr old didn't care about the rash much. So I'll probably be stuck coming back here because I'll have no other options. Bringing my own bedding next time and showering at home. Too bad I can't upload the photos.

worst experience i have had in a long time. i will never use econolodge again. I was in carthage missuri worrking for a week a room was paid for for two nights stay at the time. we stayed in the room for three hours then got up to get a early start on the job. came back to my room which i had paid for to find i could not get in. spoke to receptionist to find out my room had been given to another person i was sunburned covered in dirt sweat and so tired i could barely stand. asked for another room they said they had to called the owner, because the system asked for a payment to gain access to another room. a few miniutes later they told me if i was willing to pay an extra 20 dollars they could get me another dollars i could get another room. which is insanity if not extortion. sense when does a person pay for two nights stay at a hotel/motel to spend one night then come back ready to shower an sleep to be ready for work the next day just to find out they will have their room taken and they will charge you more money just to get a nights rest. i say no i went somewhere else. i will not be giving my business to any econolodge again. I want to feel comfort in the fact i will get what i pay for. after three years plus history with econolodge im sorry to say trust has been taken advantage of.

I was SO excited about staying at this hotel, I have heard nothing by great things about the Suburban Lodge of Hermitage, but they have an odd way of doing business. I booked my room on Oct. 3 for Oct. 6-14, knowing that checking was at 3pm I asked the woman at the front desk if I were able to check in after 3pm. She stated that I was okay to check in between 3pm-11pm. On Oct 6 around 1am I called and spoke with a male over the phone to make sure I was okay to check in after 3pm, he stated I was okay to check in between 3pm-11pm. I arrived at the Suburban Lodge at 9pm on Oct 6 to check in and I was informed by the man at the front desk that my room had been canceled by the mangers request. I asked the man if there was a specific reason why my room was canceled, he stated that there was not, all he could see that my room was canceled at the mangers request. I had to find a hotel at the last minuet at 9pm which was horrible. The next day I called the Suburban Lodge to speak with the manager to see why my room was canceled, I was told that all the mangers were in a meeting and to try back later. So I did, I wait a few hours and was told the same thing. I called again the next day to try and speak with the manager and was told they were in a meeting. I called a few more times later in the week and was told they were in a meeting each time I called. I filed a BBB complaint on 10/9, and I still have not received any type of communication from the manager of Suburban Lodge. The BBB has sent the Suburban Lodge two notifications of my complaint and yet I have not received any phone calls from the manager explain what happened that my room was canceled. I have been nothing but nice about everything and I will continue to do so, I'm not a rude person. I think it's only fair to compensate me for my trouble,

I stayed here last week on a business trip, I travel to Nashville a lot, and I was very pleased to spend my overnight here. When checking in the lady at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful about getting me all set up. What really made it nice, was that the manager walked in and saw that I was an artist in town to perform in Nashville and he struck up a brief conversation, he loves having a place that is an affordable option for people coming to chase their dreams. This might make it sound like this is gonna be a super cheap place, and it is affordable, but it doesn't skimp on the amenities at all. I love extended stay spots, because they take care of all the things I need for a trip. It's clean, comfortable and restful. The location is great, right across from a couple places to eat and easy access to the city. I'll definitely be making this my spot to stay when I roll through.

I recently stayed for one night at the Suburban Lodge in Hermitage, TN and this was maybe the second time I’ve stayed in an extended stay hotel and after staying here I’d definitely do it again. Checking in was super easy. The room was nice and clean. I can’t say enough about how nice the staff was. I had no problems at all. The hotel is maybe 20 minutes from downtown Nashville, so if you’re going to hang out for the weekend it’s in a great location. At checkout, the staff was very approachable and professional. I’d recommend staying here if you’re doing a quick trip to the Nashville area.

Disgusting. Dont waste your money here. The whole building stinks. The carpets are all stained and the staff is very rude and uncooperative. Hands down worst stay ever. They are cheap but its not even worth it. Pay a little extra and get a place that is more sanitary.

Clean rooms, VERY nice staff, great free breakfast, safe location and quiet hotel. The pool, disgusting . It looked and felt as if it hasn't been cleaned in yrs. Dirty water and thick, dark scum on sides of the pool. The surface around the pool is slimy. Found bugs/hair in hot tub. Other than the pool, wonderful hotel!

Room was very nice. Plenty of power outlets, including USB. The partition in the room was minimal. Bathroom sink was great and had a stopper, which was crucial for washing baby bottles. Workout facility had lots of dumbbells (up to 50lbs), an adjustable angle bench, and very nice treadmills that went up to 12mph. The one annoyance with the treadmills was that they had a TV screen right in your face, but there was no way (that I could figure out) to get sound. Breakfast buffet was included and was decent. It was also great to have hot tea available when we checked in. Staff was very polite.

Our stay at the Cambria Suites, Washington, Pennsylvania, was excellent! It was one of the nicest hotels in which we have ever stayed. The rooms were exquisite with all modern amenities, the staff were eager to please, and the location was prime, as it was close to the freeway and restaurants. While there, make sure to take advantage of the pool/hot tub. It's indoor and heated!

Last night I booked a room because on their corporate site it says they are Pet friendly. I tried to call all day and their phone isn't working. So I call their corp customer service number. I wanted to confirm my room since the number for the hotel wasn't working. While doing so I was told on the phone with customer service that they do not allow pets. Which is fine but I have my dogs with me so I need accommodations for them as well. So. I asked to be transferred to a pet friendly hotel or just cancel my reservation. None of which Dale employee # 122066 could help me with. He was very Leary to help as if I was not being truthful About the phones not working, so I encouraged him to call. He came back on the line and had the same problem. Phone not working at the hotel. He was very unpleasant and unhelpful. The only option dale left me with was keep calling

Husband and I stayed here instead of The Sleep Inn as we usually do, due to the lower price and the seemingly good reviews. Cleanliness is an issue here. There were dents and scrapes all over the walls in the suite we stayed in, the toilet seat looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks, and there were cigarette burns on the comforter. We were staying in a non-smoking room, by the way. To be honest, I would suggest to go to the Sleep Inn, extremely clean and such an amazing staff!

The only perk for this place was that they do have flat screen TVs, BUT the rooms are filthy. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! If I could give a lower rate I would. We called at 5pm on a Saturday to make a reservation for 2 nights as every other hotel in the area that we called was either sold out or only had smoking rooms (we are not smokers) so we had to take what we could get. The worker took my information and charged my card before we even showed up which we did not feel comfortable with because NO OTHER hotel does that and I'm in the military so have stayed in multiple hotels. About 20 mins after calling to make the reservation we were on our way there and got a call from a family member that we needed to go home for an urgent emergency. It was only a half hour later that we called to cancel and they pretty much told us too bad you're not getting your money back for the first night because of a policy we were never told about. Not to mention the person we were talking to could hardly speak English so we could hardly understand him. We called to file a complaint with the company and we're told the GM of the hotel had to take the call but he did say that they were NOT suppose to charge us until after we stayed there or after we cancelled. We tried calling for 2 days to get ahold of the manager and finally got ahold of him on Monday at 1230. We had yet to receive our money back from the second day that we were suppose to get back but the full charge of 180 had gone through to my account. When my husband was talking to Mike, the manager, he was rude as all get out and said to my husband "Anyone else would have hung up on you by now!" My husband kept his cool even though he wanted to blow up. They will also tell you it's one price(we were told 89.09 including the taxes per night) then round it up to the next dollar (we were charged 90 a night.) This hotel is a horrible scamming hotel that is out to take you for every penny. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE!!

Absolutely the worst motel I've ever been to! It didn't look very nice from the outside but it was really late and we were tired and it was the first motel we saw. I was told at the front desk that u would probably have a problem with the door to my room. That was correct, could hardly open the door to the room. My $100 room was filthy, holes in the wall, and a missing bed. After being in the smelly hot room for about 15 minutes I discovered bedbugs. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE. Absolutely no room in the room we stayed in. Nothing like the pictures. Hard as rock beds with pillows to match. Rude customer service. Not pet friendly as you can't leave pets unattended in the rooms so how exactly are we going to sightsee let alone eat out? The only good thing about this place is the Starbucks next door which kept me energized from the inability to sleep on the cheap mattresses. I am a pretty flexible person and can stand to sleep on some mattresses but this was absolutely RIDICULOUS!! This place doesn't even deserve one star in my opinion. Check in midnight, smoking kingsize room, woke up at 3am someone trying to get in, 9:30am someone tried to get in to clean room, 9:45 phone rings hotel staff member asks my name they say the computer crashed or something deal with that hang up, 9:47am phone rings again same person asking more questions. At this point I'm aggrivated. Get up get dressed and get all of our stuff ready. 10:45am walking out of the room half of the staff is right outside my door. One man says "I smell cigarette smoke do you?" My husband says yes I just smoked a little bit ago. The employee says these are non smoking rooms so I showed him my reservation confirmation showing I booked a smoking room. Then he says are you sure your name isn't Wendy... no I know my name. The room was overpriced to say the least, we paid less to stay in Orlando at a comfort inn. Our bathroom door wouldn't close and the main door to the room would t click in to lock. We didn't slee very soundly. The beds were uncomfortable and with the 3 adults and 3 kids in our group, we didn't have enough pillows. We requested extra pillows twice before someone actually found some to give us. We had to carry our own blankets, pack and play and sheets up that were given to us from the concierge. There was very little service and run down rooms to sum up. I would not recommend this location.

No stars. This was by far the worst hotel experience of my life...I arrived for a short stay( 1 night) at the econo lodge Williamsport pa....I checked in, and received my key. Upon entering the room the stench hit me like id walked into an ash tray....I immediately (given the condition of the room) checked for bed bugs. One thing they had going for them was that I didn't see any...however I checked the bathroom and noticed two dead cockroaches in the sink....I was appalled. I immediately went to hand in my keys and inform the lady at the desk we would be seeking other lodging...She stated that because i had booked the room via travelocity I would have to call them to get a refund....Needless to say she was very rude and not helpful...My experience has led me to where I will never ever again book an econo lodge room. Comfort Inn however, next door i would highly recommend, I will tell all pof my friends and family about my horrible experience

I never write reviews, but this place absolutely disgusted me! I'm a mom and stayed with my 4 children for just one night. As soon as we walked in the door, the putrid smell about knocks you over. There were dirty washcloths laying in the tub. We did not shower there! Luckily we arrived late and basically slept and got right up and left. It was absolutely horrible. There were drug dealers in the corridor selling drugs and partying and I heard what I'm pretty sure were prostitutes trying to hook up. In the middle of the night fights broke out. It is by far the worst place I ever stayed at. I paid with a credit card so I couldn't leave with a refund. We toughed it out and ran out as fast as we could! NEVER AGAIN! Do not go there. Very unreliable. Our club had previously been offered a room for meetings once a month for two hours or less and they let us have it for free. When the woman who arranged this for us left, they said it would be $125 a month for 2 hours or less and once a month. They have been very hard to reach and put our club in a bad position. The restaurant there has now closed as well. Unfortunately, this will also affect our MFWDC convention in 2017 and we will find another place to host this huge convention.

Staying here now..I'm very unsatisfied. I had to make a last minute resevation because I was called from NC to see my father who is under hospice care here in Hannibal. Made reservation that process was smooth i thought but maybe some policies not explained because I told her it's a day to day thing but I predicted til Tuesday..when I got here they automatically went on and took all out of my account..and the front desk was very rude...then today our air conditioner is broke..the girl up front is the only one here..she don't know anything about it..no other rooms available ..the room stinks..I can't leave because my account is wiped out and the days that will be refunded I don't stay won't hit back in my account for days and it's a holiday weekend..so my sister and I are sitting in a stinky hot room emotionally numb from seeing our father today and vowing to never stay in a Quality Inn. Oh...yeah..I really needed the bar open.. Next day I added 2 more stars because they replaced air conditioner with new one. That was good enough for me.

This place is awful... We couldn't stay more than an hour because of the smell in the room-pure mold. The bathroom ceiling has very obvious damage to it, and it just didn't look or feel clean. Got one extra star because they let us go with no fees.

This hotel is close to essential shops/restaurants. The room rates are affordable and the rooms are fairly clean. I gave it a 3 stars because it is a basic hotel with very little amenities (no gym, no pool, no laundry room, etc...) and the breakfast has very little variety. Recommended for : business purposes and cheap room

Whole hotel smelled like smoke. We were told on the phone that parking was free while we flew out for a week. We were planning on staying a night when we got back but after paying $8 a day in parking we did not want to give them anymore money. Asked for a 4 am wake up call that I never recieved thank god I didn't sleep at all between the smell and the unclean sheets. Over all very disappointing stay.

My stay in this hotel was good. Have no complains. The reason why I am giving just 3 stars is because eventually I was charged 25% more than it was discussed over the phone when I was booking this room. So.. Be very careful when you book a room there. Actually I stayed many times in Quality Inn but have never had this problem before. I am very disappointed.

We were given a room here when we were voluntarily bumped from our flight, so this stop was not on our itinerary. Let me tell you that I am glad we were bumped. The hotel was nice and clean, and the employees were so wonderful to us. There is a shuttle to and from the airport, the breakfast is fresh and the beds were so comfortable that we didn't want to get up. If we ever get to go back to Denver, we have found our hotel!

Only giving 2 stars because of the staff and the fact that it has wireless. Rooms are outdated and bathrooms plain disgusting. Beds are not very comfortable and due to bed bug reviews I was not able to sleep (didn't personally see any). Also my room smelled like a hospital room and the microwave or coffee maker next door were beeping since 5am. Overall bad experience but staff was nice

Rooms look and feel like a pay by the hour motel, fire alarms hanging from the ceiling by wires, drapes have mysterious stains, smells funky, and the beds are horrible. Front desk openly asked for a good review in exchange for waiving our early check in. I suspect they know the "quality" is lacking. We stayed at a Quality Inn up in Fort Collins, and this place is dismal compared to it. I would avoid staying at this location. And I find it extremely hard to believe this place would get anything more than 2 stars, so ignore the 5 star reviews. The only good thing I have found about this place is the free WiFi.

I checked in to this hotel last night 4/13/16 I arrived at 11pm. The evening staff was real cool got my room. I couldn't sleep at about 4am 4/14/16 I woke up saw 2 bed bugs on the pillow I immediately called the front desk at 4am the young lady came up and saw what was going on she moved me to another room, I still couldn't sleep of the thought of bed bugs in this room. I called downstairs because I was going through the reviews here on Google and they have had incident of this happening before. I immediately asked for a refund because I am driving a truck and Under DOT rules and regulations I am supposed to have a certain amount of hours of sleep before I can get on the road. She then told me a bullshit story about they have to have pest control come and do an assessment report before I can get a refund I explained to her I don't live here and I still have to get my sleep I have to go to another hotel and get rest before I go on the road. She immediately called the police when I demanded a refund and lied and told them I was stirring up the guests. The guests were concerned because they heard bed bugs. One guest even asked her do you have bed begs she lied in front of me and said no. I told the gentleman that they do, go look on Google they had an incident 6 months ago. Pictured don't lie. They called the police on me because I asked for a refund. Calls are being made to the city of Aurora health dept as we speak. The rooms are old and outed dated room 205 has paint chipping in the rooms and also mold In the attempt of them trying to make good she moved me to room 202 has a jacuzzi in it problems with this room too it has a big hole on the jacuzzi stairs and the bathroom tub ceramic is pealing. Could not believe they called the police on me because i requested a refund. If you love yourself and your family please don't stay here ever. This place is not safe plenty of room and health code violations. BEWARE.

The only reason you don't get all 5 stars.. the pool was very cold and unswimable. The room is larger than I'm used to, and clean behind the beds and dresser even. The breakfast has many choices for everyone, including hot items. today had ham slices and scrambled egg patties of the size to fit on biscuit or bagel. When we where checking in the service guy from time warner was talking to the owner, telling him the issue with the WiFi dropping out the last few days isn't their fault and has nothing to do with TWC's lines, so even businesses get the shaft from cable companies. My first time being in this area, and I intend to visit again, and I WILL be booking here again.

I stayed at this same hotel in August. I often come to DeLand to visit family and to visit the State Parks. The hotel staff are all very pleasant and make each stay a joy. The managers are always so friendly and willing to help. I called the hotel after I booked online to see if it was possible to check in two hours earlier than the posted time. I needed to get a shower and dress for a funeral. They were very helpful and Tom had a room cleaned early for me. My brother and his wife also booked a room and they too had an equally good experience. I really appreciated the consideration they showed. During my stay I walked out of my room one morning and one of the cleaning staff was also emerging from the room next door. She saw me and smiled and asked me if there was anything I needed. You just don't get that type of concern at other hotels! Truly a remarkable group of people working at this hotel! The morning I checked out of the hotel, one of the managers offered me a bottled water and granola bar for my road trip back home. I always stay at the Deland Comfort Inn and will continue to do so. Please thank your staff for going out of their way to make a traveler feel as though they are at home.

We stayed here one night while roadtripping across central FL. This was a last minute booking, but we were very happy with the well appointed and clean room. The bed was comfy and the room was quiet. The morning breakfast was sufficient and typical of what you find in this type of hotel. I was surprised at how nice/clean the general areas were and the room looked recently remodeled. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is that I felt the room rate was a little high for the location. I could understand if it were downtown in the historic area. Overall I would stay here again or recommend it to someone wanting to stay near the university.

We had a flight out of MCI cancelled and were forced to drive from KC to Denver and stayed at the Quality Inn on Dec. 27th. My fiance woke up covered in bites, which we confirmed were bed bug bites via her PCP the next day. We have since brought the bed bugs with us most likely in a bag or our suitcase to Denver and now will need to get an exterminator to get rid of them. The hotel refunded us our night stay but will not pay for the exterminator nor medical bills. Originally the terminator at the hotel said on first inspection that it was carpet beetles and the results were pending for bed bugs. Don't stay there, filthy disgusting place & people.

We stayed in this hotel the last weekend of June. The entrance and exterior are very pretty. The beds were okay, and the staff was very friendly. It is a convenient distance to the airport, and not far from many of the tourist destinations. For the regular price, it is not a good deal. It is not very clean. The pool has a film on it... I did not feel comfortable swimming in it. The steps were grimy. Someone had just used the bathroom in our hotel room just before we checked in, and we had to go purchase an air freshener because it smelled bad. I thought that was a bad way to start the hotel visit. The entrance, while pretty, did have many stains on the stairs. Overall, this hotel is just okay. For even a 2-star hotel, I would have expected it to be more clean.

This is my favorite hotel to stay at on the road. Not only are all of the rooms suites, but a lot of rooms are drive up, the location is convenient (located next to highway, with a lot of food and shopping locations within a mile of the hotel). I sent an email to keep this matter private, however no one ever responded so here it goes. Hello, my husband and I recently stayed at your Comfort Suites at 2750 Fortune Circle West, Indianapolis, In 46241. We checked in Friday June 10, 2016 and checked out Monday, June 13th. The reservation was under Gary Killian and we were in room 207. Here is the problem that we had, on our first night at 2 a.m. we were woke up and drug out of our room by two very rude police officers asking us what we were doing in that room, and we weren't authorized to be in that room. They proceeded to question us like we were criminals. I didn't have any clothes on and the officers just stood there, We explained that we checked in, and showed our ID's and room key, they said that my husband had to come with them down stairs and was not very nice about it. We are almost 50 years old and have never been in trouble our whole entire life. The officers continued to interrogate my husband and asked us what made us feel that we could take up residency in that room, like we were transients. The police kept telling my husband that we had no right to be in that room. The reason this had happened is because one of your front desk people failed to write or put in the computer the correct room number that we were in and someone else was also rented the room. The officers never did apologize, and said to the clerk if my husband gives her any trouble to give them a call. Now...the clerk apologized to us, and said we would be compensated for the trouble we went through...this never happened. We woke up in the morning to find a slip of paper that had been slipped through the door with our complete room total. I don't know how you run your businesses but I feel that we were treated poorly for something that was not even our fault. We travel the country often for business and we find it very difficult to want to stay at your establishment after this incident...This has never happened before at any hotel we have stayed at. In order to put it in to perspective for you, I would like to ask you this one question. If you were in a position where you thought there maybe a mix up in assigning room numbers, why wouldn't you just ring the telephone in our room and discuss the possibility of a mix up, rather then calling the police and having us dragged out and embarrassed in front of your other patrons? Instead, your staff chose to go the humiliating route. I'm just curious to know how you would have felt in our position.

While this is a nice clean property, where I've stayed several times, I will never be staying again! My last experience was very negative and write this to WARN that you must be exceedingly careful when using their web reservation system. I input a CORRECT STAY DATE that their system "automatically" changed to the current day when it required me to go back a page to provide a piece of missing information. Since I input only correct information and THEIR SYSTEM made an unwarranted change, I asked for a fee waiver when I did not stay that night (which I did not reserve). They refused and charged me over $100 for their error, as I did not stay that night. I say either reserve by phone or STAY AWAY!!

Literally the worst motel I've ever stayed at, and I like a good cheap roadside motel here and there. I checked in at 8AM since I was exhausted, to get some shuteye before driving back to Milwaukee. I should've checked the reviews. When I entered the office the employee seemed entirely surprised that I came in "off the street" without a reservation. He said they had 2 rooms available, one is hourly and the other is for the day/night. How was he surprised at someone coming in without a reservation when they offer hourly rates? Hourly rates should've been the first red flag. The room was small but ok for the price and last minute booking. Cigarette burns on the comforter, no air conditioning available, with the heater on blast which I turned off immediately. Only 1 small and 1 regular towel, one bar of soap at the sink. Shampoo but no conditioner. The toilet filled itself with water every 5 minutes for no apparent reason, seems they have plumbing problems. But who cares, I'm there to get some sleep. Within 30 minutes of getting to the room (around 9AM) there's a couple in the room above me having insanely loud sex. I'm talking screaming and headboard banging, for upwards of 30 minutes. They then proceeded to bang around the room and talk loudly for another few hours. Then, about 3 different times, an SUV parked directly in front of my room decided it was time to demonstrate its insane sound system. My room vibrated and creaked from the noise level. Are you kidding me? Finally, the maids, who have insanely loud carts because they're plastic wheels on concrete, burst into my room because they had not been informed that the room was booked. Between all of this, I only managed about 3 hours of sleep. Avoid this place at all costs unless you're either shooting a seedy porno or want to hang out around the shady dregs of society.

I stayed about a week and it was TERRIBLE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE STAYING AT THIS POS HOTEL EVER. The rooms are nasty and dirty, and smell like cigarettes. Our first day there was a pizza in the fridge still from the last guest which smelled horrid so who knows how long that was in there. We were only serviced once our whole stay, we ran out of towels, toilet paper, coffee and trash bags so we had to get our own. Which was fine, I have worked in this area so I had no intention of complaining. Yet here I am... We payed a week, checkout on Monday and the maids came barging in on Sunday claiming we were supposed to be out. So we had to pay another fee since they wanted to rip us off a day, at this point I still had no intention of complaining. Then here we are today after we left and the maid calls to accuse us of smoking in the room when we don't smoke. She claims she knew because she saw us spray febreeze, which I did because every time I walked in my room it reeked of cigarettes. And then she admitted to us that "oh i don't care I smoke weed" and asked if we could get her any. And I was absolutely appalled at the audacity. So I'm not sure if she was upset she couldn't get her habbits cared for that she decided to retaliate against us or what her issues were. So to top it off for Sunday, the cops were called on us. We spoke to the officer who was very nice and wonderful we explained what happened and he had cleared us. Anyways I go back to pay this bullshit cleaning fee for $150. I tell him politely I didn't mind if they really need our money that bad to clean their nasty rooms fine, but you lost our business. I'll leave a review, your rooms smelled like nasty cigarettes since we got here but we will gladly pay the fees for you to get them cleaned and hopefully the next guest doesn't have to suffer. You need to drug test your employees who ask your customers for drugs, who don't do their job. I had no intention of complaining once because I am a very understanding person until you had the nerve to rip me off for more money, and if you want to do that so badly at least do your damn job. My room was serviced one time during our whole stay I had to run to the office several times for towels, coffee, toilet paper, and had to get my own trash bags. Half the time nobody was in the office, the maids are asking the hotel guest for drugs, they don't service your rooms very well. And they rip you off for all your money. The employees are very rude and look like drug addicts, and ask you for drugs and then charge you because you can't help them. So I'm very upset at my stay because at first I thought I had enjoyed it an the man was polite in the beginning I even stuck up for him to my boyfriend that he wasn't trying to rip us off, but in the end I was wrong and he did everything he could to rip us off. Well he re-checked my room after I explained my experience and said he would take $50 off the cleaning fee. Cool, thank you all. I hope our money was worth losing business over, I hope you drug test your employees, and lastly I hope you get your nasty dirty rooms cleaned and taken care of with my hardworking money. God bless.

I was decent for what it was. The rooms were small but clean and the tv, AC, and wifi worked. Though it did look like things were resently refurbished. It had the average continental breakfast and an outdoor pool. Just watch out for the taxes there was a city, state, and hotel tax that was added to the bill. Overall it would be fine as a one night/two night place as long as you are not traveling in a huge group.

I'm a traveling person. I stay at hotel at least 10-15 times every year. This is by far the best hotel that I experienced. I rather stay here than a 5 star hotel. That's how good this place is. Wish they have a swimming pool. Very fast Internet, best staff ever... Check in was 1 minute... My room was always air conditioned which is something I don't always experience. They give newspaper everyday REAL hot breakfast. 24hrs coffee that is better than McDonald's not as good as Starbucks but almost. Not to mention that I'm a difficult person to please. Enough said... Bottomline is that you stay here and you won't regret. Pay a few more bucks to get a lot more. I chose this over Hilton which was cheaper.

Reviews indicate this hotel to be otherworldly. Do not believe these manufactured or paid for reviews. While this Quality Inn & Suites is not bad, its just that. A Quality Inn & Suites. Nothing more. Completely average, terrible pillows and lackluster bed. Nothing to complain about for the price, but as always, there are other options you should consider.

Avoid at all costs! The location is terrible, there were homeless people and thugs wandering the premises at all hours of the day & night. The alarm clock in my room wouldn't work so I had maintenance bring me a new one, which then also did not work. The breakfast was very sub par, except for the kiwi strawberry juice. To top off this less than pleasing stay, my card was then charged a $35 fee because they claimed I stole a pillow. So now I have to go through the hassle of disputing a charge on my card instead of enjoying my vacation. Never staying here again, would not recommend to my worst enemy.

Great location if you want to leave your car and just walk. Everything with in great distance. Breakfast not so good, if you love steamed round eggs and cardboard tasting juices. The staff is awesome couldn't ask for better hospitality. How bout those rooms tho!! About as paper thin as it comes. Theres nothing like hearing complete conversations in a room as if they were right next to you. Shower and toilet flushings....forget it. You'll be up all night with that one. Also try not to get a room next to the ice machine and elevator.I thought the place was under attack lol. Once again staff and cleanliness was 4.5 stars. But thw hotels breakfast and noisey rooms are a 2.5 - 3 at the most.

What a pleasant surprise! The hotel has been completely remodeled. It is not only lovely, but clean with helpful personnel. We stayed there last night with sirens going off because of the tornadoes in the area. The gentleman on duty kept checking the radar and tuned the breakfast area TV to storm coverage, while staying calm and reassuring the guests. It was the best value of any that we have stayed at on this trip.

Room was OK, smelled like smoke and had a dirty comforter. The bathroom ceiling tiles had mold on them. Also, the front desk would not supply me with a cot because I was only in a double room. The Pool and Hottub were ok the first night, but the hottub was ice cold the second night. The worst part, was the bar and continental breakfast, they must have had water damage, and instead of fixing it they just took the ceiling tiles out and put buckets to catch the water, but to top it off, they place the food and drinks directly underneath it. Can honestly stay I will never stay here again.

Worst hotel EVER. Couldn't check in on time. Pool was freezing and didn't have towels available. Finally got towels and then they asked US to return them back to front desk to be washed right away. We also asked for 2 queen size beds but only got 2 FULL size beds. Top it off our TV remote didn't work and we couldn't even change the channel at all. They had us try to program it ourselves. Then told us there was nothing they could do for us. If I could give it O stars I would. Not even worth the cheap rooms....

Was in town to attend my cousin's wedding. When booking the room, I had asked if there was air conditioning in the rooms and mentioned that I like a cooler room. I was told the thermostats are individually controlled in the rooms and I could set how I wished. This was NOT the case when I arrived Friday evening. The thermostat was set at 75 and would not go down any further. When I asked I was told that is as low as it will go. Saturday morning the air stopped working and the room was 78 when I left. I returned Saturday evening for the night to find the room just as hot. I had to go to the front desk and ask for a fan to try and stay cool, where I learned that the AC was not working in the building and there was no idea of when it would be back functioning. Definitely did not sleep well either night due to the heat and trying to get ready for the wedding was difficult as the bathroom lights contributed to the heat. Also, the vending machines didn't work and the toilet was not working properly and I was told that is just how it is when I reported it. Definitely will be staying at the Econo Lodge in the future!

Location is downtown Massena; easy access to everything in town. The room we got is very large, a bit dated, and clean except staff forgot to empty one trash bin from a previous guest. No glass carafe for the in-room coffee machine; when I inquired, was told just to use the paper cups for single-serve..a bit odd. As our room is at the end of the hall, there is a heavy fire door leading to stairs and outside; well everytime someone goes through it, you can hear an enormous "BANG" when it shuts.

Took wife and two other couples there to celebrate her birthday. Food was fantastic, good selection of draft beers and wines, service was excellent, portions were very generous and the noise level was low enough that you could easily talk to anyone at the table. All three women felt we needed to make the drive there a lot more often as it was such an enjoyable evening! Probably the most surprising thing was the bill, half of us had daily specials, but the bill was still only about two-thirds of what I had expected.

Don't ever want to come back here. Breakfast was very small and the owner seemed to watch your every move, like it's a buffet breakfast and he/she made me feel like I can only get one serving when in reality I was getting for other family members as well. Don't like the snoopy attitude of the staff. Also as I was lying in bed, I felt something around my ear and I knew it was an insect of some sort; I tried to flock it away from my face and it was gone. Moments later it was back on my face again, it was a COCKROACH! A cockroach was on the bed, pillow, sheets whatever; that's nasty. The room also reeked a little which made it an unpleasant experience.

Room ok, no coffee pot, toxic cleaners used (like most cheap hotels) making it hard for me to breath. Night front desk people didn't know the meaning of hospitality to welcome a very tired person driving for 12 hours that day, morning person better maybe because I was awake enough to be more friendly, I did not feel safe there, sketchy people hanging around outside, and worried about my car but all was well in the am with it. We've stayed at a lot of hotels. Hated this one sadly... If we had another option we would have taken it... But apparently every hotel in MD was booked this pariticular night and we had no other option... Small rooms. Tiny tight bathroom. No extra blankets. Sleeper sofa wasn't set with sheets and took us almost an hour to get some. So our kids had to wait to go to bed.. The sleeper sofa made me think of a prison bed... It is near shopping but that's about all it has going for it. There is also no elevator so those with small kids and lots of luggage be aware of this... A 2 star is me being generous.

I want to give this place NO STARS. Please do not stay here! This hotel has BED BUGS. I stayed one night and woke up with bed bugs bites on BOTH of my ankles. I always check the beds where ever i stay because I know how hotels are. They can look clean all they want but its what happens late at night when the lights are off. For those of you who don't know about Bed Bugs, you will only see them at night unless the space is INFESTED. The fact that i was bit only on my ankles would probably mean they are in the seems of the mattress. All it takes is one warm body for them to feed. Trust me I know. Please take note and DO NOT STAY HERE!! Their corporate office will be hearing from me. THUMBS ALL THE WAY DOWN :( :( :(

When I went to the front desk yet again they showed ZERO concern and said that they clean the rooms the best they can. The hotel is old, but the rooms are well-kept and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. HOWEVER, they have motion sensors in the rooms that control the HVAC. This means it goes off while you are sleeping! Being as it was 90 degrees and 90% humidity while I stayed, I kept waking up sweating. I had to get up and move around to reengage the AC. Ridiculous, you can't get a full night's sleep unless the weather is perfect. The idea is that it is energy-efficient, but all the studies say that it is more cost effective to keep a space at a constant temperature, rather than raise and lower it. Plus, I can't shake the feeling there is a camera in the motion sensor box. I dressed and undressed in the tiny bathroom!

I've stayed at this Comfort Suites four times now. It's a decent enough place to stay with reasonable rates. I wish the carpet in the rooms was kept a little cleaner. I always end up finding pet hair on the floor. Rooms also tend to smell musty if you have a room that opens to the pool. Business travelers, I recommend asking for an outside room so as to avoid the noisy families that frequent the indoor pool and hot tub.

Quality is on par with other Comfort Suites, which is generally good. It is part of a cluster of hotels near the airport but there's not much food in the immediate area. No towel rack in the bathroom.

The worst experience I have ever had. We booked in advance, called to say we would have a late check-in and were told that would be fine. We got here (two rooms booked, 1 King and 1 double) one room they did not have a reservation for, the other was not the right bed arrangement. They graciously opened a room for us since they lost our reservation and our credit card had already been charged. It wreaks of cigarette smoke and is filthy. The room they had a reservation for, which was not correct but at least it's a room, is also filthy. Random wet spots in the carpet, smells terrible, stains on the comforter and hairs in the bed. My husband is running to Walmart now to get sheets just so we can sleep because it is now too late to get a reservation anywhere else. All hotels under $200 a night are booked up. I would not recommend this hotel and would even caution people to stay away if you are looking for anything near decent. If I could give it less than a single star I would.

We had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. Beds were so comforable, hotel was clean and the staff was fantastic. We were hungry when arrived and didn't want to try restaurant as so many hotel restaurants are horrible but we had 3 kids with us and really didn't want to get back in car after a long drive so we went to the Italian rest. at hotel. Being Italian I wouldn't get anything with tomato sauce since I knew it would never be as good as mine but others in my party did. Let me tell you I was all wrong. Tried my sisters gnocci with tomato sauce and it was fantastic, tried the kids homemade pasta with meatballs and sausage and it was great. I got homemade pasta with fresh clams in a white light sauce and it was superb. My nephew got a sirloin steak which he loved. Many thanks to the chef for a wonderful meal and to Mary our waitress who wears many hats you are a asset to this hotel. Overall this hotel is worth the stay both money wise, comfort and food. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!Terrible customer service. The front desk ladies had terrible attitudes. They couldn't even manage to tell us were we were supposed to park. One of the ladies got into an argument with a customer in front of me, again because she couldn't even tell him where to park. She was rude and unprofessional. The attitudes here made our stay unbearable. They clearly don't care about helping people or hospitality, which is the point of hotel customer service. I found black hairs all over the bathroom and the room was dirty. The area the hotel is in also seems a little sketchy. I would never recommend this place. Do not stay here. Don't be fooled by the online pictures. I don't even want to give one star. Our room was nice enough for the price -- no problems, but not luxurious, either. My biggest issue was with the staff and lack of customer service for basic requests. When we arrived, I was notified that there would be no hot water on the second day of our two-night stay due to a city water main repair, yet we had plenty of cold water. (Wouldn't a main repair have NO water at all?) On the morning of check-out, there was still no hot water. Clearly, this was a maintenance issue and not a utilities issue. I asked to have the manager call me, which never happened. Only after several days when I made the call did I get a refund for one of the two nights that we did not have hot water. Secondly, we stayed the night of the greatest civic unrest and were essentially confined to the hotel after being advised by the police to get off of the streets. We asked for pay for breakfast items -- cereal, muffins, etc. -- that we might eat for dinner, and the desk clerk replied curtly, "no," Perhaps the hotel didn't have the staff, enough food, etc., but there are better ways to answer inquiries. Even after fighting to get a partial refund for our stay, I never even received an apology for any of the inconvenience -- whether it was truly the hotel's fault or not. How hard is it to say, "we're sorry your stay didn't meet your expectations?" The whole stay was like pulling teeth, and that's not right. The $15 daily parking fee in a public garage is a nuisance. If you want an inexpensive hotel with low expectations, this is your place.

First time staying in Baltimore for a concert and some sightseeing. Quality Inn was located in the perfect place, walking distance to where we needed to go. Like, when you see the skyline of Baltimore, we were right next to the building with the high tower and flag on top. I could see it right out my window. Parking is in a garage the next building over, 15$ a day, so be prepared for that. The room was great, i loved the layout and the drapery over the windows. We slept great and had no problems. The staff were great and helpful. Thank you for a great first time, we look forward to doing this again.

Good lord. This places is by far the creepiest place I have ever been in my life. Not hotel, place. I feel bad for the family that owns it for writing this but I would not recommend. Its the kind of motel they make horror movies about. It feels like someone was murdered in my room. Ive stayed in dumpy places before but something about this place is not right. Also, for a weeknight it's 90 for a room if u have a dog. That's overpriced considering it feels like someone used my room as a meth den. However, some of the previous reviews based on the racial identity of the owners are totaly inappropriate. Ive stayed at a couple of very nice motels in FL that were run by Indian families. The quality of the place has nothing to do with the race of the management.

I stayed one night for work, my first time in the area. It was a nice hotel, I didn't use the pool but it really looked inviting. Granted I hate it when hotel pools are surrounded by windows, especially near the front desk, like as if you're on display. That's a moot point. The front desk lady was very kind and accomodating. Everything seemed fine enough. Just visited a friend that came in from out of town. Pool area was nice.

We were in an accident in okc and our travel trailer and truck were totalled. We are stuck here waiting to be able to get our belongings and deal with insurance. The insurance lot is closed this weekend so we decided to find a hotel with pool and try to relax. I specifically asked if the pool was open when I called. I was told yes. We get here, after buying bathing suits and swim diapers to find the pool has no water in it. The girl at front desk seemed to know nothing about it and was surprised to find it was closed. We also requested a microwave, which according to the website, should be available upon request, and we were told if we need something heated up to bring it to front desk. The rooms and hallways are kinda dingy and dated. The only good thing is bed is comfy and bathroom was remodeled newly (though it already has burn marks from cigarettes in it, and this is a non smoking room)

I had a similar experience to Amanda. I booked through Hotwire. This Four Points Sheraton charged me a deposit for incidentals. I did not acquire any charges, and 15 days later, my money was not refunded. I had to go through my bank and challenge the charges. When I called the Four Points Sheraton, their front desk workers were rude (they wouldn't let me complete a sentence, put me on hold for long periods of time, and dismissed my concerns). My family was in the middle of a PCS, and I am 7 months pregnant, so I really didn't need the added stress. I probably won't stay at another Four Points Sheraton anywhere.

I love this hotel, it's very convenient it's close by the airport! Great comfortable beds, clean and I always enjoy my stay here. This is definitely my first choice every time I fly into town. Low rates and best of all clean and comfortable.

Had a work meeting at the Quality Inn and the air conditioning was out. They provided ice water and fans, but the fans were loud and those of us seated in the back couldn't hear the speakers. Not really fault of Quality Inn as they tried to accommodate, but the experience was less than par nonetheless.

This hotel was awful!! It was so gross it had mold and mildew all over the bathroom, the ceiling in the bathroom was falling down so if you were taking a shower or sitting on the toilet parts of the ceiling would fall on you. The bathroom floor and tub and exhaust fan of looked like it hadn't been cleaned in at least a few months. The bulbs in all the lamps except one were all burnt out. The wallpaper throughout the entire room was peeling or ripped off and the walls were really dirty. The fridge & microwave was not clean their was still food from the previous guests in the fridge. I mean this hotel was disgusting to put it nicely!!

The bed was pretty comfy, but that was a about it. We didn't have an alarm clock. The pillows were awful. The floor in our bathroom was bowing in. The paint was peeling from the walls. Pretty much they need to do a ton of maintenance work and upgrades. With that being said, the staff was friendly. But that's it.
