Last year, my wife and I received an invitation to attend a presentation on the HGV timeshare opportunities at the Elara in Las Vegas. The salesperson was extremely rude and pushy. It was a terrible experience for both of us. My wife and I very quickly realized we were not interested and attempted to convey this to the salesman; however, he was very aggressive. At one point he actually asked my wife, "At what point did you give up on your dreams?"

My wife and I attended a presentation recently. It started out good. The gentleman that took us on the tour and did the majority of the presenting was very nice and then the sales part came in. After we passed on the initial price and said we wouldn't be purchasing today, his Sales Manager brought in this "great deal" that they are holding for us from another couple that decided to upgrade so we could assume their original one at a lower price. We passed again. A better "can't miss" deal came to us. We passed. Finally, a 3rd gentleman (Jason at the Parc Soleil location in Orlando) showed up and gave us a deal to "freeze" all the other deals we previously turned down for 18 months in case we changed our mind. At this point, we were already in there for 2.5 hours. It was supposed to be 2 hours. I had already advised him of the time issue and he kept me for 10 more minutes at least.

I'm back from Hawaii and had a nice time. However, I didn't like the Waikoloa Village property much because it was too big and the stupid tram is slower than walking. Anyway more on that on TripAdvisor.

Where do I start?? I first bought into the HGVC sales pitch so I could have flexibility in vacationing with my family. I was only able to take advantage of my unit/points once when I took my parents out to Las Vegas while they were still able to travel. I even was offered "free" trips for a mere $299 fee and an additional $75 reservation fee. When I couldn't take the trip due to medical problems, I wound up losing the "deposit". I couldn't even have my nephew use my points for his honeymoon as he would have to pay a transfer fee as well as reservation fee (another couple of hundred $). All together I have spent $16,000 for 3400 annual points (not including annual association fees and taxes).

Don't do it. My wife and I bought in about 7 years ago. Paid $5000 for one week one bedroom every other year. Plus yearly maintenance fees, roughly another $800 one year and $300 the next. It alternates. And of course, HGVC put us in a two bedroom in Orlando and Las Vegas before I signed. After that I never had enough points, blackouts, missed my time to move points to following year, or had to pay extra for points to be moved. Then you have to wait until 30 days prior to departure date to book additional nights or larger room that I was willing to pay for. Good luck getting that room or any other, and even more problematic is the airfare rates 30 days prior to leaving. Just asked for to sell, told me its worth $500 to $750 plus 25% commission fees. I just looked up resale in Orlando and they start around $2800. So DON'T join HGVC.

Bought our timeshare in 2012 for $10000.00. Trying to sell our property, HILTON said they would buy it back for $500 to $950. Are you joking me? 1% of what we bought it for? If there is a class action lawsuit out there for these thieves, I would gladly be part of it. I'm so ticked off at this. I have been a diamond member and will definitely be switching to Marriott or something. Scam scam scam!

This experience was one disappointment after another! We have owned Timeshares since 1999 so have been to MANY presentations but have never been treated so rudely!!! We bought the program and we're going to Myrtle Beach - our choices on their concierge website was either Anderson Club or Oceans 22 - both new and beautiful!!! We were promised a studio with a kitchenette. Call for reservations and like others have said, everything and anything would cost more. Guess what ? - couldn't get into the Anderson or Oceans - nope had to fight to even get in a Hilton property.

My husband and I have been HGVC owners for over 7 years. We purchased in Orlando and had no real intention of buying anything. Our salesperson was not pushy and showed us the product. We have absolutely no regrets and have since visited Hawaii, Park City Utah, NYC and often visit the Caribbean. We purchased because we loved the idea of always having a second or third bedroom for our kids and the accommodations are beautiful. Our vacations are really important to us as a family and HGVC have always exceeded our expectations in customer service, consistency and standard.

First of all.... I'm actually not surprised at all the negative responses. People are melodramatic and exaggerate EVERYTHING! Let's be honest, if you have a bad experience you tell 1,000 people, post it on social media and get crazy! If you have a positive experience you may tell 2 or 3 people. No company in the world can make EVERYONE happy. Reading these post are so ridiculously over-exaggerated it's now comical. Hilton has millions and millions of owners and/or renters and has been around 100 years. So there's 200 complaints out of millions of people who don't post, don't vent because they are satisfied and happy. Hilton is a well respected household name, not Joe Shmoe's Timeshare shack down the street. I have nothing but amazing experiences with my ownership.

I was a satisfied Hilton Rewards member, utilizing them whenever I could for both personal and business related travel until I was misled into paying for the Orlando Vacation promotion. Normally, I politely decline and move on, but on this day the sales associate made the offer sound too good to pass up. I was told I could pick a guest suite at any Hilton property in Orlando as long as I completed my reservations in the next 6 months and the only caveat was the two hour presentation for their timeshare and room availability.

We became HGVC members in mid-April 2015. We were excited and happy. At this point on September 1, 2015 we have not been able to travel with the service because we were told we cannot until October. Now, we received our first bill for annual fees and they are for the full year no matter that we only have October-December to use the service. This was not explained when we signed up. Frustrating.

We went to Hawaii and stayed on the big island for a week. They gave us a full size rental car and a $200 voucher to be used at future Hilton stay. It wasn't free, but it was a better price than I could get for the Ocean Tower on my own. We stayed in the sales office for HOURS. These guys are good salesmen, that's why they are doing what they are doing. We practiced "I am sorry, but this does not work for our family" a lot before we went - and we still ended up buying, and then cancelling.

I was sold a promotional package with hidden fees. Clever wording to charge full rates without disclosing what the true rates would be if you missed the sales pitch meeting. I was verbally told I would lose the promotional rate, but never verbally told there would be additional rates charged to my card.

I signed up to visit the Orlando hotel and listen to their 3 hour "spiel." Their promise was a $200.00 check for staying at a Hilton Garden Inn within 3 months of participation. On May 29, I stayed at a Garden Inn in NYC & mailed the hotel receipt and HGV certificate to the address provided. I received a confirming email that all documents were received & in order. Today is August 13, 2015 & I've just been through a maze of telephone calls attempting to find out when I'll receive the promised check. The supervisor (Michelle in Texas), says that it's a "high demand" product and she can't give me a date when I will receive my check. 3 months have passed, I'm encountering a major run around, no resolution and I'm experiencing total dissatisfaction. Stay away from Hilton, it's a scam!!!

Las Vegas location right off Las Vegas Blvd. and Harmon Ave. Arrived on time, a sales lady quickly took us to her desk. We advised her our policy was to not be ask a lot of personal questions about our life, travels, income, etc. She immediately went into defensive mode in an angry way. Saying the only way she could proceed was customizing to our life. My husband, who everyone that meets and knows likes very well, kept saying "I've done numbers in the past and don't believe her numbers could work for us." She was so mean, sharp and abrasive.

In November of 2014 I purchased the HGVC. They do NOT disclose all information. There are a lot of hidden fees when trying to schedule your vacation or if you want to "bank" your points there are fees. They only have a few areas to travel to for HGVC. I pay $800 per year maintenance fees and 10,500 for the timeshare that only gives me a studio. I trusted they would be upfront because of the Hilton name. Please Please Please do your due diligence before purchasing. I think it would be better to save your money and take a vacation. Because they have limited travel areas you are forced to go through RCI. If you go to an all inclusive you have to pay the fees which can amount to several hundred dollars per day!!!

Our dispute was resolved in our favor. As posted in the review last week, after reading your reviews about Ocean 22 HGVC, I mailed a certified letter and called my credit card company to cancel the $16k purchase into HGVC. I tracked the letter delivery, it was delivered and signed for at 9:54 am the next morning. I received the return, requested signature card 5 days later. Yesterday, my credit card company contacted me that the dispute was resolved in my favor and the funds have been credited to my account. Again, thanks everyone for posting their unfavorable experiences on this site. The $22.73 it cost me to overnight the certified letter was well spent. I hope others are as lucky.

We just had our timeshare presentation. We did not have a bad experience. Our representative was very thorough and there was no high pressure sale. We did NOT buy into the timeshare because at our age it made no sense to commit that much money to something we will never use and the maintenance fees seem very high.

I wish I had read reviews before purchasing the trial of the Hilton Grand Vacation. Thanks that I did not purchase the whole thing. I paid 1200 and I was able to use the hotels at any time from 7 to 14 nights. I went and used 4 nights and now they are telling me I can only go on the weekday, no weekend day. 3 nights. If I use 2 nights I could but not in Orlando. I paid a year ago and when I called all year long there was no availability. It's a scam. I lost my money. Paid 1200 only for 4 nights in a cheap hotel international drive in Orlando. Wish these people go out of business.

I just had a horrid experience dealing with a lady at the HGVC customer care. I purchased a discounted package for a 2 night stay at Myrtle Beach. I had reserved a 3pm presentation tour during the second day of my stay August 18 2015. A couple months before my stay I received a call to confirm my tour time and I was told that the tour was at another location but within walking distance of my hotel. I didn't receive exact address on the call or in any email. I assumed I would get more information or a reminder later, but I didn't. I ended up missing the tour and I got a call on the same day that I was going to be charged the actual package rate before my discount because I missed the tour. I explained to the lady that it wasn't made obvious to me that I was going to be charged if I missed the tour. She said it was highlighted right on top of the email that was sent to me when I purchased the package.

The practice of the Hilton Grand Vacations organization is to capitalize on the membership of the Hilton HHonors Frequent Traveler Program. After staying as a guest at the Hilton in Austin, I received a call offering a 7 day vacation in Hawaii in exchange for my attendance to a two hour presentation for a timeshare property. I paid $799 for a 7 day vacation at the Hilton Waikiki. Here is the actual link provided in the email confirmations from Hilton Grand Vacations. To view Hilton Hawaiian Village go to hiltonhawaiianvillage.com. If you scroll through the website, you will notice pictures of the Hilton Ali'i and the Hilton Rainbow Tower. What I found out 5 days before my vacation is that I am not booked into either the Hilton Ali'i or the Rainbow Tower. I am booked into a room at older, not updated off-market properties.

In January of this year, I put in a search for Anaheim. September already and NO RESULTS. Today I tried to search for Anaheim any time in the next 2 years - again - Anaheim doesn't even show up as an available city. I spend $1000s on this and am getting nowhere. I never can seem to get anyplace I really want to go to. All that is available seems to be RCI dumps. NEVER, EVER, buy a timeshare from Hilton GVC. It is a rip-off. And don't bother to try to sell it, you will not get enough to even cover the yearly fees they charge.

Spent two hours to hear a timeshare presentation. Was informed we would receive a two day stay at a resort in Myrtle Beach. The resort was a dump, and after two hours of listening to the presentation, we informed the sales rep that we were not interested. The rep immediately got up and left the table and we were approached by the rudest person I have ever met in my life. He asked us what did they poor use us and we told him the paper stated we would receive 199.00 in cash as their paper stated. He said they don't hand out cash and informed us that our credit card would receive credit back for our cost of the resort stay. After that conversation, he asked us to leave the building and did not even thank us for our time.

In 2014 I purchased a timeshare while at this resort with my mother and she owns RCI points timeshare for the last 10 years and very happy with the many vacations we have taken. With what the salesman told us to what we are now realizing, what we actually get are 2 different things on 2 serious severe issues. 1) The promise that the 5000 points takes us for 2 weeks to our dream vacation (why I bought it) to Maldives, 2) 5000 points every 2 years takes us on a 2-week vacation. I bought for 14,000.00 and have paid 4000.00 off. I need to know where to get rid of this, just take it back. Money lost, I don't care, who travels for one week every 2 years? Resell it, it was a bankrupt sale to us as it was. The salesman should be chastised for lying for his commission.

My family was at a vacation at Legoland 2 years ago. Upon going through the park entrance there was a tent set up with HGVC recruiters. We got enticed to go to an information/sales pitch. They make this timeshare (they don't call it that tough) sound so great, so ideal, like you're getting so much for your money. After two hours of our vacation time and double teaming us with very nice, but pushy sales people we were ready to walk away. Once we got up to leave then all of a sudden there was an even better deal. We asked very specific questions about cost, fees, availability, flexibility, etc. We were super reluctant and wanted to know exactly what we were getting into.

We were ripped off. While booking a stay at a Hilton on our soon coming trip to Florida, we were offered the opportunity to purchase a 3 Night/4 Day stay at the Hilton Grand in Orlando for a great rate - this being a promotion to a timeshare presentation. Being that we love Florida and our kids would really enjoy all that Orlando has, we purchased. During the call, with a sales rep I cannot recall, I told them that we are a family of 5. I was told it would be perfect for us. A month later, I call to see about booking during Thanksgiving week. In that call, I was told that booking during high volume times, such as during holidays, would cost more. I did not know this, however after reading the fine print it does state high volume times would cost more. The issue was that in the sales call, I was told that our family of 5 could travel anytime within the allotted time for what we purchased - my fault for not reading but was a lie of omission.

I used to like booking on hilton.com because it was supposed to have the best prices guaranteed. Then I found out that the individual Hiltons sometimes do special bundling deals with wholesalers that you can't get a price guarantee on. So now, I shop around to check what's out there. That costs Hilton money because I occasionally find a deal at a different property brand that is too good to refuse.

You really can't go wrong with Hilton Hotels in any part of the world. When I first started traveling internationally during the 1980's (yes, before you could really Google anything), our default hotel was always a Hilton. Always reliable w/no surprises...Generally, you don't want surprises when you're half a world away from home. Trust me on this one! Still use them to this day.

unless something is perfect, immaculate and beyond expectations should it receive 5 stars. stayed at varrious hiltons threw the years ill admit they were really nice. however, id be expecting a bit more from a 4star hotel where ive stayed at red lion inn's and marriot resorts which were claimed to be only 3 stars but felt far suprior in courtsy services. ntm, if your in a 4 star hotel there should be something such as wifi. where one there was a starbucks in the lobby, but it closed at 8pm thus so did the wifi would not work for non-tenets where i had to checkin and pay a night just to manage a business transaction int he past due to my cell not having service outside the Seattle or Houston areas.

for over 10 years. They've always stuck to their policies, and have always treated me well on the trips I've taken. Not sure what happened to the vacation stays they had for about 25k/night. Wonderful (I stayed in the one near Positano, Italy). Maybe too wonderful and they got pricier. Pity. Best stay for points ever.

HIlton often costs a little more, but after my last experience I think it might be worth it. GREAT customer service -- very helpful and friendly. It stings a little bit to spend the extra $30 or $50 per night, but it's also hard to put a price on a nice hassle-free week. If your company is paying the bill, then I can 100% recommend Hilton. If it's coming out of your own pocket, then you'll have to decide what you are comfortable spending.

The first night was okay. In the morning I had bite marks all over my arms and back. I told the cleaning lady and she said it might be a mosquito so I didn't mind anything and I slept another day. When I woke up i had other bites on my finger so I got up and I looked at the wall and i see a little bug which is a bed bug and I immediately went to the front desk and told them so one of the cleaning guys came to the room and put the bed bug in the cup and said ``we are sorry``. They didn't charge me for those 2 days I stayed there. So I left immediately out of there.

The room was quite large and I love when a hotel has a pool even if I didn't get to use it. And complimentary breakfast was great! The staff were very sweet and willing to help. The only thing was that all the furniture seemed to make funny noises. Which made us laugh but the couch the bed and the chair either squeaked or some other funny noise. But other other than that it was nice.

What a great stay! My son and I were just here for our trip to Hofstra University. We have stayed at other hotels in the area on our previous trips and were not nearly as happy with the service at the others as we were here. Our cab came for us a half hour earlier then scheduled and left and never returned. The hotel clerk called a car service for us and he got us to the University on time, and even came back for us when we were done. I was so impressed we used him the next day to go to the train station, now that is personal service. Beyond that the hotel itself is nicely appointed, clean, comfortable and has a wonderful breakfast. We will only stay here from now on when visiting Hofstra. We are Hilton Honors members and this is exactly the type of service that make us happy members.

I gave it one start because they charged me for cleaning say that the room was trashed. It was New Years so yes it was a lot of garbage but when put it on the table to make it easier. Check out was at 12 so we didn't really make the beds we were rushing to get out. I was told you couldn't see the floor & that it had to be deeper clean. You could see the floor & it did not have to be deep cleaned it was nothing in the carpet & only a few sheets on the floor because I was rushing & double checking. It took me 5 days to get in contact with a manger. 5 days I called every single day. She over did it, she made the room seem worst then it was even thought it really was not. And I'm WAS a Normal customer. Not any more !! I will not be staying here ever again.

I really like this hotel. The suites are super awesome. Our room was large and spacious. There was a really nice desk and a pull out working table. There was also a nice sized kitchenette with plates and everything. There is not hot plate, so you better bake whatever you are interested in the microwave/convection oven. There is a breakfast served everyday from 6 am to 9 am. It is your typical continental style breakfast. It is nice. Fresh coffee is available all day long. The hotel was fairly quiet. I would definitely love to stay here again.

We used to really enjoy staying here until the valet guys returned our car with a good amount of damage and then refused to acknowledge their mistake or take responsibility. Wouldn't take chances here again, they have no self parking.

A very strong budget offering directly in the middle of downtown San Antonio that doesn't feel in the least bit budget. The staff is consciously attentive and the lodging is excellent. Suites are VERY nicely appointed with some great little touches. Complimentary breakfast was the usual ordinary American fare, but the hotel handles the large crowd well. Parking was not ideal and very expensive, but downtown San Antonio is expensive and crowded, so the valet cost was somewhat understandable.

I stay in hotel rooms about 3 months out of the year, and I have never written a review on anything, however, my experience at this hotel was absolutely terrible. For 7 days we had to listen to the people upstairs stomp around and bang furniture. The hotel is built horrible and every step that is made sounds like someone is falling through the ceiling. Also, if there is a wedding or party going on, you can completely forget about getting any sleep at all.

Hotel staff is very pleasant and helpfull. Room was big and and clean. Location is great right close to 820. However a bed lamp didn't work, the room phone wouldn't work, the clock time was wrong but couldn't fix it as it was broken. The kids wanted to be in the pool and hot tub but soooo much clorine was used they could only stay for 15 minutes before their eyes were on fire just being in the room and let's not forget the scramble eggs served for breakfast were powfered. For 100 a night I think next time I'll stay down the road.

The beds were comfy but had a little trouble with keeping the heat and air balanced. Breakfast was hot, consisted of omelets, sausage, waffles, and all other that you see in continental breakfasts. In the evening, there were delicious chicken wings, fries, water, and wine. Too bad the clerk told us that was until 9, not 7, so we ran to get meds and everything was put away when we returned after 7 :( The rooms were clean and I like that they had mouthwash with toiletries :) Staff was very friendly throughout our stay and the hotel was close to everything I needed and the area was not too incredibly busy. Especially for me, who is usually a nervous wreck in areas I don't know; I had no problems with traffic.

The shower was spacious as well, with plenty of hot water available at a moments notice, despite a packed hotel. The group I was with had a suite as well, with an attached bedroom and a sitting room. The bedroom was spacious as well. The sitting room, however, was a bit small. There was comfortable room for five, but after that, it got crowded. The facilities conference rooms and larger ballroom/meeting room areas were spacious enough for the attendees to speak and be heard, yet still be able to move around as needed. Many of the rooms have (re) movable walls, allowing for larger or smaller groups. The staff is phenomenal. Always friendly, they were quick to jump on any problems that occurred. The light by the door in my hotel room was burnt out, and within five minutes of me reporting it, maintenance was present to replace the bulb. I respect that level of service. Location wise, it's in a good spot. Easy access from the highway, less than 2 miles from a Walmart, and within walking distance of several restaurants (both chain and local), as well as having a restaurant on site, food IA easily available, and for the fitness inclined, a Planet Fitness location is right next door. All in all, I heartily recommend this facility.

It's a big and rather impersonal place. Great for business probably but don't stay here when just passing through. There must be better options. liked: interesting white caprese pizza in the restaurant. disliked: very low ceiling in the hallway of floor 6 which gives the place a very claustrofic feel. (I actually hit my head on an exit sign hanging on the ceiling).

There are few hotels that leave me wanting to come back again to that exact hotel and stay in that exact room like this one did! From our experience with the front desk, restaurant, shuttle service, room service, and concierge service we can confidently recommend that everyone coming to Dearborn stay at the Double Tree Inn! I am a professor, I travel to many conferences and symposia. The Double Tree Inn employees really cared that we were comfortable and that our needs and wants were addressed. Great Service and great facilities!

The only reason I'm giving it four stars is because both the pool and the hot tub are closed, but it doesn't state that on their website/when you book. This was an overnight "staycation" with my 17 year old son. Literally all of our friends are in Florida for spring break & he has to work/we couldn't afford to go. I looked over reviews closely & this hotel had the most stars in the "loved it" department. We spent our day out in Bloomington, came back to check in, went to the pool after we unloaded, and found a "POOL CLOSED" sign on the door. I would have spent $50 less at another local hotel that had their pool clean, had I known this one was closed. VERY disappointed, to say the least. Clean rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast. Everything else was perfect, but please let possible patrons know when you haven't cleaned the pool for use.

It's at a nice location across from Menards. The rooms are small but just enough room for even a family gathering. 2 large beds in one room connect to a nice bathroom. On the other side connected by a door is the living room with a TV and couch. That connects to a nice kitchen with a normal size fridge, not a mini, like most. You can adjust the tempature with a thermostat. Overall a nice hotel to stay in.

Let me start off by saying, if you're the type of person that doesn't mind subways and saving money while still staying in a classy hotel - this is the place for you hands down. I like to note down things as best as possible since I also rely on Google to see where I want to stay. I've stayed in Long Island City before at a Howard Johnson, 5 years ago (2010). My previous experience was good, but no where near as great as this hotel. Below are the points that I feel will strongly persuade you to stay at this hotel. 1) You are steps away from several subway lines. Queen's Plaza (lines E,M,R) is literally 50 meteres from the hotel entrance (not even exaggerating). I was so surprised that I could get to Central Park in 8 minutes by taking the subway. I highly recommend if you stay more than 3 nights to get the 7 day unlimited ride pass because you will see how convenient it is to get around. Queensboro Plaza is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel and has lines N,Q, and 7. I would only use this line depending on where I was travelling back from, but again - highly convenient. 2) This area is incredibly loud, with several subways passing through and traffic all day you would think it would be a nightmare trying to go to sleep. This is not the case. The hotel rooms are equipped with sound-proof Schüco windows that have a rating of 110 dB sound proofing. In English, that means it can hold off a small planes engine. You can see the difference when you open and close the windows 3) The hotel was built on an odd sized piece of land, so the architecture is a bit odd but they somehow built a great hotel on the property. I believe the corner suites are the smallest (I stayed in this) but they have one of the best views since you get more windows. Each room is equipped with a 42 inch TV. Yes that’s right, a 42 inch massive HDTV. Tons of channels, you will never get bored (we lived on FX, E!, and the Food Network) The bathrooms are beautiful. The light up mirror and brand new toilet and shower made the experience so comfortable. They also provide Neutrogena toiletries The bed was incredibly comfortable and clean, had no issues with that. 4) Now the best part of the hotel rooms has to be the mini fridge and microwave. I’ve been to hotels where the mini fridges were not cold but this hotel knows how to deliver! My girlfriend and I wanted to avoid spending a ton of money on breakfast every morning. So what did we do? We bought a carton of milk, yogurt, a bundle of bananas, and small snacks to fill us up in the morning before lunch. The microwave and mini fridge helped a ton. Also kept a few drinks in there to keep us cool. If you’re on a tight budget, use the fridge to store food! We took a bunch of plastic cutlery from the Whole Food Market (in Columbus Circle) so you can do the same too. Oh yeah, how can I also forget about the Keurig machine! You get coffee and tea K-cups. You can request for more tea or coffee depending on your preference (or even bring your own). 5) We did not eat at the hotel, but I heard the food is great. If you are looking for local eats, we checked out Burger Garage (amazing turkey burgers), Lucky Pizzeria, and the Dutch Kills Pub. The hotel also has fruit water in the afternoon and freshly baked cookies as a snack in the evening. 6) Lastly, the views from the hotel room. We originally asked for a Manhattan View (booked two months in advance) but did not get this. We were upset at first, but got over it as the view we had wasn’t too bad at all (see the video on my profile) facing south east. Test your luck and see what you do, but the hotel can cannot guarantee this. We got to the hotel around 1 PM and got early check-in which was great. If you arrive too early, they will hold your luggage for you for free. We arrived from Newark airport and took NJ transit to Penn station, and came straight by the E train (but when we arrived the E line was closed for maintenance so the workaround took us about 3 hours where it should have taken 1.5 hours).

I stay here for work for weeks at a time. Rooms are small as I find myself tripping over my suitcase, but everything is new so I don't mind. Fluffy pillows, comfy bed, nice towels, good TV and ample lighting. Nice gym that can fit plenty of people. Staff is really nice as well. One negative thing that I'll say is that the food sucks. But who wants to eat at a hotel anyways when you have the whole city!

We booked a block of rooms for our NYC wedding this past April and also hosted a breakfast the morning after in one of their function rooms. The staff was gracious, professional and attentive. All of our guests felt very comfortable and made great use of the restaurant and bar! We all had a GREAT time! It's location to at least 4 different subway lines made it so easy for everyone to enjoy the city stress free. It was a perfect home base for our joyous celebration! The rooms can be on the smaller side but the views form the upper floors are worth it. You'd have a hard time finding anything overly spacious in NYC so I wouldn't call that too much of a con. Overall, this hotel's staff made it very worth a stay!

less than 2 minutes walk to the nearest subway station and only one stop to Lexington Avenue this hotel, while not on Manhattan island, is as close as you can get. The price was much less than nearby hotels and it was very clean. The area was fine. There are a few other new hotels being built close by this. While the rooms are small by US standards they were bigger than I was expecting for New York.

The location of this hotel isn't the best if you want to be close to the airport and downtown but I only travel to Omaha for business and it is closer to my offices. The service and the rooms are great, especially for the price. Clean rooms including a desk for work, 2 night stands, entertainment center, fridge, microwave, keurig, lounge chair, and an ottoman. I haven't tried the restaurant but their hours are reasonable and room service is available only during restaurant hours. Staff is friendly and very helpful. This is my go to hotel for Omaha

Truly false and misleading (intentional) advertising about breakfast menu. 9.95 if cooked to order? Really? After this.. I am Done with Hampton! I am so tired of the inconsistency of Quality, with most of these issues showing themselves at the Independently-owned units! It used to be that you could always count on cleanliness, comfort and a great breakfast. Such is no longer the case in so many of the Hampton Inns. It is truly a shame that this Brand Name has become soiled by so many Independent Owners. My stay at the Conway, Arkansas location on 4/09/2015 - 4/10/2015, in room 328: the room was clean. The King bed on the other hand, with the mattress being at least 8-10 years old ( a guess due to the lack of comfort and resulting morning backache). Breakfast: yet another Huge Disappointment! Those terrible, frozen omelets filled with gross, red and green peppers (who eats those nasty things?), tiny pieces of shriveled, all-fat bacon, and oatmeal. That was it, aside from cold cereal, and stale bread products.. some fruit. When asked, I could tell that the attendant was embarrassed by the offerings, and tired of being confronted by patrons who wanted something better. So Hampton Inns, and you greedy Independent owners.. if I can no longer count on comfort, and if I have to go buy a decent breakfast; well, then there is absolutely no reason to stay with you any longer. Not like there's not dozens of other options along the highways!

I have zero clue what hotel these other people stayed in. It's downtown in a ghetto area with lots of thugs hanging out. The hotel is newly remodeled (and they did a great job with the remodel) but it's DIRTY. Like the cleaning people were never taught how to clean or just flat out don't care. When we awoke, neighbors had apparently thrown trash all over the hallway and we had to side step it. We called the front desk to let them know and an HOUR AND A HALF later it's still there! The kitchen staff were super passive aggressive, spoke negatively of my family in Spanish--which I speak fluently!-and after seeing one pour coffee from the trash into the oatmeal, we walked out without eating. I'll never ever ever come back to this hotel. I'm absolutely disgusted. Oh, plus they charge you like $200 a night. Are you kidding me?! You think that's a good rate for a run down piece of junk hotel? OMG, we will NEVER come back.

After just spending our 2nd week at homewood suites in spring, tx I had such high expectations for this hotel. Sadly it was a huge disappointment. While the room was AMAZINGLY large (supposedly it was the only room available at the time so we ended up in the presidential suite, 2 bedroom 2 bath) the staff at the front desk was extremely dry and it seemed as if I was bothering her when we arrived. For the amount of money we HAS to pay for the room because, afain, supposedly the $400 room was ALL THEY had available in this 10 floor hotel. There were no plates or cups in the kitchen so my kids ate Mac n cheese out of the paper coffee cups, the carpets looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in awhile, there was a stench in the rooms and hair in the shower and the pillowcases. Overall this was not a good stay, for the prove we were paying for ONE night, we should have at least had a welcoming smile. We will NEVER stay at this hotel again. It was extremely disappointing especially since we had enjoyed our stays so very very much at the homewood suites in spring,tx. If it wasn't so late when we got into dallas and we weren't in the middle of someplace we didn't know and were comfortable, I would have left this hotel and stayed somewhere else.

Front desk charged me a security deposit without telling me. I booked my appointment online, and the person at the front desk said he needed to see my card and ID, then swiped it. Didn't ask why, just figured it was to confirm he had seen it. Later I saw a $50 charge on my account, that wasn't mentioned when I booked online either! I asked why, and was told it was for incidentals or if I used anything in the room. I didn't use anything, but it's been a week now and I don't have the money back. I left my room spotless, and even took my trash with me. Didn't even use their soap, towels, or shampoo. Other than that, the stay was great. The hotel is very clean. The rooms are very spacious and affordable, especially compared to the surrounding hotels. The breakfast was fantastic, and even though there were a ton of people there, the food never ran out and the staff was very polite. If I end up getting my surprise deposit back, I will definitely end up recommending this place!

I travel often for work and pleasure. My company put me up in this Homewood Suites during some corporate training I had earlier in the year. It was hands down the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The room I received was massive and clean with a full kitchen and dishwasher. The actual hotel is smack dab in the middle of the city. In room Keurig machine with a few free capsules. Not much of a view out the window. Location is good, near major roads which run through the city. Let me begin by saying that the front desk staff are amazing (Markietta, Jeremy and Kristen!) The issue that I had was with the restaurant, the manager Nikki to be exact. She was very rude and argumentative. Here's the breakdown: My boyfriend initially went to the restaurant to order two broiled crab cakes and a crème brûlée to bring up to our room and he attempted to pay with a food voucher. I am not sure which employee he spoke with at the restaurant; however, he was told that in order to use the voucher you have to dine in (although the voucher does not state that). The employee proceeded to explain to him that if he ordered a drink at the bar, he could take the food to the room and after contemplating that is what he did. When he got to the room I immediately looked at the the crème brûlée in disgust and went to the bar. I decided to speak with a manager because I wanted to bring this to his or her attention. I explained to Nikki how upset I was regarding the poor presentation of the food and she stated "this is the way we had to do it because you all didn't dine in." That baffled me! The food literally looked like dog food and was cold to the touch. I proceeded to explain to her my previous work experience with Hilton Food & Beverage and questioned why she could not simply send the crème brûlée in the ceramic that it came in, since it was going upstairs to a room. Instead of making it right, Nikki decided to continue to go back and forth with me regarding the appearance of the food. After 10 or 15 minutes, she then decided to go get a crème brûlée, which took her an additional 20 minutes. Furious with my experience, I went to the front desk and spoke with Kristen the guest service manager. I showed her the picture of the crème brûlée and she agreed, the presentation was horrible. This is not the way I expected my experience to be at a Hilton hotel; I would expect this at the Motel 6. I have never experienced such poor customer service from a manager and will surely cross Rocky River Grille off my list of restaurants!! Today (May 16th), I got a phone call from the Food & Beverage Director Sam, he was nice and courteous. All he could do was apologize, I guess. Nonetheless, the issue was big enough for me to never go back. It amazes me how people work in the customer service business and have such HORRIBLE attitudes! HR should be shameful to have such an employee representing this company.

I had a horrible experience at this hotel. Saw three cockroaches in the bathroom, a (used?) condom in the elevator, and what appeared to be a discarded syringe underneath the snack machine - because who doesn't need a little Hepatitis C with their Snickers bar, right? Upon checking in, the man behind the counter (his name was Nathan, I believe) seemed to be friendly, but unfortunately couldn't control his flatulence to the point where it sounded like someone was reenacting MC Hammer's U Can't Touch This with a trumpet and it smelled like someone had recently slaughtered a pig. At one point during my stay, I was locked out of my room and maintenance had to come do some work on the lock. Turns out the battery had died and needed to be replaced. Also turns out they stole 20 bucks from me. To top it all off, I'm pretty sure I brought home some new friends with me in the form of bedbugs. I wouldn't stay there again if you held a gun to my head.

The Hilton Garden Inn is located near the bottom of the Church Street shopping and restaurant area of Burlington. There are dozens of places to eat and shop within walking distance. The rooms are finely finished and comfortable. The restaurant serves good food and the hotel gym is small, but adequate. It was a comfortable stay.

Exceeded expectations! I don't have a "regular" hotel/chain but will now stay at more Hampton inns. Nice room, name brand toiletries, clean, breakfast had numerous and healthy options, free wifi, friendly staff. Thank you for a nice stay!! Just wish I had time to try out the fitness center or pool

This place is nice. The only thing keeping it from a 5 is the fact that there is nothing to do in this area. But if you find yourself here and need a place, they have nice rooms, very friendly staff, alot of amenities and the biggest breakfast ive ever seen offered.

Stayed at this Hampton for a local meeting. Very impressed with the friendly staff, good breakfast food (compared to some, don't expect restaurant quality), clean rooms and nice exercise equipment. Glad the college administrators changed our housing location from a nearby facility with decidedly less quality.

One of the best experiences I've had a a large chain hotel. Staff is SUPER accommodating and friendly. We dealt mostly with Lisa and she was always very quick to help us out. Hotel itself seems relatively new and the rooms are incredibly nice and beds VERY comfortable. We were in town for a wedding and used their shuttle which was very convenient and right on time. This is a model operation for the entire Hampton Inn chain.

The hotel is conveniently located in the downtown area. However, I was expecting too much from it being a Hilton hotel. You pay to park in their parking lot for $12 a day. Yes you do! I'm not talking about valet parking. You personally "park at your own risk", as their sign says. I booked a two-double bed room for 4 days and 3 nights and to my surprise, there was no refrigerator nor a microwave oven. I have kids and I always make sure they have milk ready and something to nibble on when their tummies give the signal. I guess this hotel is really just for high-rollers who can order room service anytime they want. Toilet also doesn't flush well:( We weren't much of a happy camper and when we tried to check if they would allow us to transfer to a hotel without charging the full cost of the reservation, the manager said it was too late and they will have to charge me with the full amount. NEVER AGAIN!!!

The staff here were all friendly and accommodating. Free, warm cookies on check-in; clean comfortable rooms; and a wonderful underground connection to the convention center. The only thing that was lacking was the parking. $12 to use their tiny lot or park in a separate lot nearby.

Overall experience was subpar for the price and the fact that this is a Hilton property. Woman at the hotel front desk told me there were no king beds available, went online with my rewards account and saw that there were, booked one and paid a higher price. Went back to the front desk and told them this, they ended up giving us a king bed room (why did they tell us there wasn't one available?). The woman was snarky and unhelpful and I believe was treating me such because of my age (I am young). My boyfriend wanted to ask some questions about the area and I told him to go ask the front desk and his response perfectly encaptured the entire experience I had with the staff, "I don't want to talk to them, they are rude and intimidating." The room itself was clean, but the the bathroom needed updating. You have to pay extra for parking and there is no valet service to validate this premium price. On a positive note, the housekeeping staff was friendly.

The Double Tree is now in the Hilton Family, but based on my most recent stay I would have to call it a disfavored "Stepchild" my room had air-conditioning problems that I fixed myself with electrical tape I happened to have in my backpack. Peeling paint in the restroom and a blown circuit breaker that required a visit from maintenance describes my room. And to top off everything else, the very small was ice cold! There are some good things to say about this property but after all these issues they don't balance out the ledger. If you are going to call yourself a "Hilton" spend some money on maintaining your rooms and for goodness sakes heat your pool (it's not much bigger than a large hottub!)

Here for a conference and am a Diamond HHonors member. They placed me on a first floor room, that was run down. The AC sounded like it was a car from the 1950's with a V8 engine that needed a tune-up. Called down 3 times, and they weren't able to get it fixed. No other rooms available. They were able to get the AC fixed the 4th time. Front desk staff was good. Hope they are able to get the funds to renovate.

Not bad. Strongly recommend if you stay here to walk down behind the hotel towards the convenience store. There's a bunch of restaurants and a shaved ice place. I didn't know this until after my trip. Also walk a few blocks down the road and there is a soup and salad place. Awesome.

Not my best Hilton experience. I'll start with the good. The room was nice, comfortable, and clean. It's a good location very close to the airport. The staff was very friendly. Now for the negative... When I arrived, I waited for almost 10 minutes outside for a valet to get my car keys. But that was only after I went ahead and walked inside, and he got me in there. While waiting at the registration desk, I overheard another guest telling the staff that someone had broken into his truck. When I inquired further, i was told that was the 2nd vehicle burglary in "about a month". When getting up to my floor, it stunk. The hallway smelled like mildew, badly. Getting into the room, it was fine though. I had dinner elsewhere, but did stop at the bar for a glass of wine and a desert. I ordered a brownie. Nothing complicated, but it still took about 20 minutes to get it. While waiting, there were gnats flying all around. I noticed everyone seated at the bar swatting them away from their food and drinks. My brownie was so tough I had to use the plastic knife to cut it into bite size pieces. I gave up half way in. It's convenient, but I probably won't stay here again.

Received a lesser room than was booked. Room was clean but there was a loud clanking noise (pipes?) every 10 minutes. I didn't try to switch rooms due to the previous poor service at the front desk. Elevators were slow, I believe due to a few being out of service. Parking was free and in a garage so that was good. I used reward miles to book this room. I would be extremely unhappy if I had paid the going rate.

I only attended one day out of a 3 day conference. I had a good experience, nothing to complain about. They accommodated roughly 200+ people very well. Restrooms were neat and well maintained and lobby was big enough for people to roam around and stretch their legs during the breaks. I can't really say I received the entire experience, but from what I observed, people were enjoying themselves.

Arrived to find that overnight parking here was an additional $16 per night. Wish I would have known that when I booked the room! First room smelled of smoke. Front desk immediately reassigned me to a different room. Second room was just fine and very clean. Fitness center very nice. Evening reception included soup, bread, meatballs, and salad. No pasta? Anyway, was fine. Breakfast adequate. Overall, staff was very friendly and location was very convenient. I would stay here again if price was right.

Con: Parking is 16$ which is 20% of the room price and that is not communicated to the customers. I was expecting that to be more clearly communicated to me. When I mentioned this to the front desk she said all their websites indicate this and was not receptive to the question. Orbitz does not say parking is 16$. Pro: The room was clean and comfortable.

Front desk can be busy at times but they are always cheerful and courteous. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet and omelette station are great and the waitstaff are attentive and quite humorous. I believe they have a dinner buffet and happy hour, too. There's a small 24 hr sundry shop with snacks and drinks right by the front desk. Spacious area for socializing in the glassed-in fireplace sitting room and also around the outdoor pool area. ATM by the elevators. Parking is always available and the shuttle runs to IAH every half hour. We've stayed here at least a dozen times and I have always left refreshed and recharged.

After our flight was cancelled I was left with the only option to stay in a hotel for the night with my family, they were unable to accept the voucher the airline gave us. As we went to the room I noticed one of the elevators smelt of cigarettes, once we arrived in our room we found pubic hair in our batch tub, a hole in the middle of one of the beds, and there was still coffee left in the coffee maker from the previous residents in our room. Absolutely disgusting. I was expecting much more based on the older reviews.

My truck got broken in to right under the video cameras. Some security! Nothing stolen, but still a hassle. Vending machines are impossible to find. Laundry room is sad, not even a place to sit. Restaurant is good, but too much food & too slow. I'd rather spend 1/2 the money and get less food and get it faster. Bathroom and bathtub very small. Stupid white bedding. The first time you touch it, it gets dirty. No hot tub. Internet kicked you out at least every day and I kept having to call the front desk to get the magic code. Front desk staff seemed barely capable of doing their job. Charged me more than my coworker and couldn't explain why. I had to fight them to get them to reverse the excess charges. Only stay here if you have to.

Stayed at the Hampton Inn for 2 days on business. I stayed the night I arrived in Tuscon before heading to Nogales and a 2nd night Before flying back to GA. Night one - went out for dinner and had to park in the back. There was limited parking in the front, and the clerk suggested the back as it was closer to the room. There were nails of some sort in which I stepped on getting out of the car that pierced my feet through my shoe. My coworker helped me in the building and I called the front desk who said I could come down and get a medical kit. After I explained that I couldn't they said they would send someone. The front desk did call back and offer medical assistance. Now I'm back in GA and getting a techna shot. 2nd night- advised the clerk at check in he concern with parking in the back and asked if I could leave car out the way in the front. He agreed. 11:30 pm he calls for me to move my car so it won't get towed. Crazy. I had to get up at 4am, so I moved it and felt unsafe being out alone at that time. Other issue is that I had requested a higher floor at time of booking 4 weeks earlier, but was put on the first floor - no way of another room I was told. The noise was unbearable! I got about 2 hours of sleep tops with the noise and night time shenanigans. Please stay somewhere else.

Only two issues: no crib was available (despite calling ahead and being assured that, in fact, one was available) and the internet speed was almost unbearably slow. I had some contractors in town that where staying at the Fairfield which gives free passes to the Vertex. While hanging out at Independant Ale House they asked me about it and I said lets go check it out. They had left their passes in their rooms but I figuring that all we'd have to do is show them proof they where staying there but the gal at the front desk was absolutely insulting. Stated that keys don't mean a person is staying at a hotel even though they could have shown her their reservations or she could have called the hotel to verify. The night ended well with Paddy Oneil's bar manager getting us up to the Vertex and checking on us multiple times. Additionally, I spoke with the Hotel manager and she was very easy to talk with and reassured me this is not acceptable. Upgraded review based on experience with the management.

This hotel is the best lodging experience Rapid City has to offer. We stayed on the floor just below the Vertex bar, which was an incredible bar. It offers 360 degree views of the city and well made cocktails. The room was small, but made up for its size with warm character and charm. Our view was exceptional, looking over art alley and main street square. The beds were also comfortable and clean. If you don't enjoy the high end style of the bar upstairs, then you have the option of Paddy's, which is connected to the hotel lobby (opposite the side of Starbucks). Overall great experience in a hotel with rich history.

Okay well it started out That my friend and I drove all the way from Tucson Arizona to Phoenix to go see the Joyce Meyers conference and we got up and got ready to go went. Pay my bill they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it and it took them over a half an hour and after I was just sitting there waiting for them to get done not even 10 feet away from the front desk and finally my friend went up there and she said yes she has Been waiting for us to come up here. you know that's just not very nice she saw me sitting there for over a half an hour waiting for my receipt and she knew that we were in a hurry because we were trying to get to the Joyce Meyers conference it started at 10 o'clock well unfortunately we drove to Phoenix for no reason because we didn't get to go see Joyce Meyers because It took over a half an hour waiting for her to give me my receipt and I called the front desk the night before to ask them for a 6 o'clock wake up call in the morning and we never got that I asked them for a extra coffee cup because they only gave us one we didn't get that either I was very dissatisfied

First thing is I never have had any issues with any of Embassy's, however this one is just horrible! Check in is scheduled for 3pm we got there a little early at 2pm no problem, however when 3pm passes, 4pm passes and no room, it's ridiculous! Why have check in at 3 when your not getting your guest in their rooms till after 5pm! We traveled with children, they had been at the pool while we waited and no one offered any water to the kids! When we went to the desk to raise concerns they had no clue what was going on, mind you at this time there was a line now to check in. With one employee trying to figure out a group arrangement for over 3 hours, with one desk person to handle check ins! Once we got to our rooms, keys were not working, they gave wrong room numbers to our group. The coffee pot in one of the room had a bug in it. Now back to on check in per the desk staff the rooms were not ready because of housekeeping. When you see house keepers just standing around and talking, instead of working and talking, no wonder why we had such a horrid stay! I know motels that offer 10x the service then Embassy PHx north! Don't stay here! Pay the extra to drive from the others in the area.

This place has really gone downhill since my last visit two years ago. I'll try to make this quick. The pool is freezing cold and the hot tub is packed with unsupervised children. I counted 20 at one time. And good luck getting a lounge chair. I think there were 10 or 15 total. And the staff could really care less about this...or anything for that matter. Housekeeping came at 4:00, so after we froze ourselves in the pool we all shared two day old towels. The "renovated" rooms are nothing to write home about. Same old furniture, which is frumpy and falling apart. The couch reminded me of the one I had in college and got from the second hand store. Every bathtub in the place is now an old person's shower, which we found out after the person on the phone assured us that we would get a room with a tub. So my one year old daughter took a bath in the sink every night. Awesome. Maybe if this were a Motel 6, I'd be okay with The conditions...but we're spending $200 a night, and I expect more. Next time I'll be looking for a different place to stay.

Okay, after doing some research, I found out that this place has an Front Desk employee that was convicted of Credit Card fraud in Atlanta, Ga! Was told the General Manager was PERSONALLY informed, and has IGNORED the issue. This now explains why my credit credit had charges from Georgia. When a General Manager FAILS to act, investigate and screen their employees this speaks volumes. Also, when a General Manager fails to make sure that customers Credit Card information is being protected, this speaks MORE volumes about the UNPROFESSIONALISM of the Manager, General Manager and it's employees. I will be contacting corporate office to make more complaints about this issue. I suggest the Hampton Inn conduct extensive "background" checks of those they employee! SICKENING!!!!!!!

However the bedding and pillows were disgusting! The shower door leaked and the toilet wouldnt stop running. One can tell they have attempted to ''re-vamp' the place but the slapped it together instead of paying attn to detail. Why re-vamp if ur going to do a shoddy job? Also the noise level from the street and with-in the hotel was extreme! Hard to sleep past 6am! There was also the "little issue" at the restaurant 8UP, when a piece of plastic was found (while in my mouth), from the salmon breakfast sandwich. This has the potential to be a great hotel. Great breakfast to start off each day of site seeing. We alsi had the same gentleman tidy our room daily and he did a great job. I had to hug both attendants before we left. The hotel is only 4 blocks from the Riverwalk so we saved alot of money staying there. The grocery HEB, across the street came in handy. Prices were amazing. I totally recommend this hotel!!!

It's a nice attempt of Hampton to take what looks to be a previously existing building and utilize it for a hotel but this brought up two major problems. First, limited parking. If you plan on being out at night don't expect to find a space next to the hotel as those go quickly. We were told there was overflow parking however they didn't mention that the overflow parking was next door in what looked to be a small abandoned warehouse. At night not only is this building dimly lit inside but you can't see inside from the hotel. There's no indication of cameras or security. Nor are there any gates. We ended up parking there two nights and there didn't seem to be any incidents. Just be aware as one gentleman who had just checked in was furious for having to park there. Also, the first night I parked in the overflow parking there were bats flying around the dark entrance that you have to walk through. The second issue is that this building is right next to the street. Every car, truck, bus that passed by was insanely loud. I kept looking across the street at the La Quinta with envy as that building is set back from the streets, like most hotels. So bring a sound machine or you may have a tough time if you're a light sleeper. Breakfast was good. Staff was courteous. Rooms didn't look dated. The gym had good equipment and the pool was indoors which helped for colder days. Again the problems stemmed from the attempt to turn existing buildings into usable lodging other than that we had no problems.

I absolutely love this Hotel. Everything is nice and clean. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Lots of groups here, but the free breakfast was first class all the way. I won't stay anywhere else. I have stayed at the Marriott and have been treated like crap, so the staff here won me over big time. Even the cleaning crew was very friendly. Rooms very clean and spacious.

I stayed here a few weeks on business, the hotel is pretty clean they cleaned the lobby and it smelled so. I had a handicap person's room and it had a slightly weird smell, around the tub had not been cleaned too well, but overall was not a bad experience. It was far nicer than other hotels I stayed at. My only complaint was they do not have plates for breakfast if you are on the go or in a rush and just want to grab a bagel to go, I guess they expect you to eat everything in their lobby because they only have actual dishes forks and knives, no plastic ware. A few times there was someone else's hair on my 'clean' towels.

We stayed here last night. They were able to get us a room for a decent price at eight at night. All of the rooms were just recently refurbished and they are amazing. The beds are certas, and they were so comfortable. The pillows were perfect for my liking and the blankets were soft. We took a swim in their indoor pool and it goes from 3 ft to 5 ft depth. For breakfast they had an amazing bar. There were western omelettes, french toast sticks, pastries, cereal, oatmeal, they have a waffle bar where you make your own waffle on a griddle with toppings. And they have coffee, hot chocolate. Overall it was a great experience and we will be going back next year!

I checked in Saturday, around 2pm on "Mother's Day Weekend" after an 8 hour car ride. I suffer from DVT so I was completely exhausted to say the least. I reserved a premium suite to include a snack tray for my children so we didn't have to worry about the late night munchies. Well, to my surprise, I walked in the suite and there was no snack tray. After settling in and meeting up with family, I saw a gentleman with the cart delivering the snack trays. I told my daughter to be on the lookout because he will be stopping soon. Needless to say, he passed by. My daughter looked out the door to see what was taking so long and he had passed our room by. He told her the room wasn't on the list. She assured him it was and asked what she could do to prevent this mistake for the duration of our stay. He advised her he would let his manager know and she didn't have to worry. Sunday was eventful. We attended graduation at Hampton University. It was another long day. By the time we made it back to the hotel, I was completely worn out with a swollen leg. All I wanted to do was take a shower, take my meds and get in the bed, but I wasn't able to do that. I walked in my room, which wasn't serviced so I didn't have any clean towels. I waited forever and a day and saw a young lady who was headed my way. I patiently waited, but she never knocked. I looked out the door and there was no sign of her so I went walking the floor to the opposite side and asked the young lady on that side if she was coming down to my room. She asked the room number and after telling her, she asked if I needed it serviced? I said, "I do indeed and I need clean towels." She assured me she would come down after she was done. At 6:30 pm, she came , serviced the room but said she didn't have any clean wash clothes. Her manager was behind her cart and he said he would bring them back up. Well, that never happened. I took my meds because by this time my leg was throbbing and I called it an evening. The next morning when I woke up, still no wash cloths. I called the desk and advised what happened and she said she would send some right up. I never saw them. My children and I ended up washing with hand towels. I went down stairs to ask for a late check out because I still wasn't feeling well and wanted to rest my still swollen leg a bit more before getting on the road to drive back home. The young man advised me check out was at 12 and there was no courtesy. Anything after 12 would be an additional $25 for each hour past. I checked out and left. After the horrific stay, I made it back safely only to end up in the hospital. After being released, I called the property to speak with the manager several times, but never spoke with her or received a call back. I called the "so called corporate number" which was given to me by an employee there only to find out it was the rewards department. All I want at this point is my money back and I'm still waiting and I've yet to speak with a manager from any department. Not even a simple call back. Over the last 8 years, I've stayed at this property at least 10 times a year because my daughter attended Hampton University. I even hosted her graduation dinner in one of the banquet rooms. I never would've imagined being treated this way by a Hilton Brand Hotel. I've never had this to happen and I can honestly say, this left a really bad taste in my mouth. And the snack tray wasn't replenished until after the room was serviced and once again, we were not on the list..... 😡 I'm still disgruntled!!

Great visit for daughters Sweet 16 Birthday. They were great in accommodating all of us, and even gave me a corner king suite upgrade adjoined with the girls' double bed suite. The corner king suite is huge!! The living room area was so much bigger than the regular suite. Parking is a bit of a hassle when there is something going on, but it is a convention center hotel. They did allow me to park in the front until a space became available. Breakfast was hot and plenty of variety, and the hot tub and pool area were clean. I took off 1 star due to a interaction I had with the Cypress Grille hostess (or order taker). After waiting 14 minutes for her to end her call I asked her for sugar. She went to the back and 9 minutes later came back and handed me 3 sugar packets. I smiled, apologized for not being clear i suppose, and told her it was for the remainder of the evening (it was 6:30 pm) and could I have some in a cup. I drink a lot of Tea, plus I'm about to have a room full of 16 y.o girls all night..I need sugar! I wasn't at Motel 6, they have a restaurant, a bar, Starbucks coffee shop/cafe...this was not an odd request. She told me no, that's all she could give me.

I stayed a weekend at this hotel for a sci-fi/anime/furry/gaming convention at the convention center next door. The biggest plus in this hotel is the room. Every room is a suite in this hotel, so in addition to the usual bedroom, I also got a living room with another set of furniture and another television! So there was a lot of space to lay out my gear for the day. I used the living room as a staging area to get into costume before heading out to the convention. Second plus is breakfast is provided, which is something you don't always get in upscale hotels. It's served buffet-style with bacon, sausages, eggs, pancakes, French toast, oatmeal, grits, bagels, cereal, and fruit. There is also an omelet station, where one can get an omelet made to order with your choice of ingredients. That saved me a lot of time since I didn't have to drive out for breakfast. (time that I probably spent on a second and third cup of coffee, but I digress) If that wasn't enough, this hotel also provides an evening reception with an alcoholic beverage or soda, and finger food. (veggies, tortilla chips, and trail mix) The only downside was that parking was inadequate on Saturday night. The portion of the parking area for the hotel was full, except for a few spaces all the way at the far end. I had no idea if it was permissible to use the convention center lot as overflow parking if that became necessary.

Our room was clean, and up to the standards I associate with a hotel of this price point. Everything worked and the beds were comfortable. I never found a way to adjust them, but they were fine as they were, so that was no problem. I was VERY impressed by the staff here. Andy was fabulous at check-in and was very helpful and kind, in spite of a bit of confusion with my credit card. They were also incredibly quick to respond when my son accidentally locked us all out of the bathroom. We did not try the restaurant, but I imagine it's good. The free beverages in the lobby are a nice touch. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and will happily stay here again the next time we're in the area.

Good hotel, but lacks some of the amenities that Diamond level hhonors members are used to. Breakfast was good with a attentive staff. Desk staff was very helpful and worked hard to assist guests with any issues. There is however a complete lack of Diamond parking and no easy access from the back of the hotel parking. Basically parking is rather cramped and needs to be addressed.

Its a decent hotel. There were a ton of hotels to choose from in the area, I was researching them from travel sites. I ultimately chose this hotel because it had a hot tub with the pool. The rooms were disappointing. The beds were smaller than I thought, and seemed to be just an okay room. Plus the hot tub barely worked, very old & outdated & all of the jets dont work. Ive paid less and had better rooms. I had higher expectations choosing a Hilton branded hotel, but it fell short. Overpriced for what you get. No free breakfast either.

Place is starting to show its age. The couch in my room was disgusting. It had a giant greasy stain on it. The furniture is starting to crack. I've stayed here 3 times and it's only going downhill each time I come.

So far so good. We stay in the Hilton branded hotels because they are predictably nice, and homewood has dinner four nights per week. It's pretty standard and good for a family with breakfast, dinner, pool, fitness center, suites with separate bedrooms, etc. This one is a little harder to get to from the road, but that's not their fault, the roads don't let you turn left. Also, CAD $3.40 for an ice cream cone was ridiculous. Nonetheless, a solid homewood with no real complaints, and we were here on a points redemption stay, 120k points for five nights.

Did not give us the right room for our venue. We were shown one room that was larger & what we planned for and then given a different smaller room when we arrived. If I had received a phone call that the room was changing due to our numbers, then I could have made the appropriate adjustsments prior insread of 2 hours before the event was to begin. Hotel gave us a tray of cookies ( that the guests got at check in anyhow) and tried to pass that off as making up for not having enough room. Our servers and staff took care of us quite well as far as the food service, but did not check on water availabilty often enough and we frquently ran out. We will not be using this venue again unfortunately. We had used this venue in the past and are saddened by this expirience. Also, nearly every person attending that stayed overnight complained about the size of the beds.

The front desk people were really friendly, except when some of the people in my group needed one of them to fix an issue our travel agency made with our reservations. She was very noticeably annoyed with having to fix our reservations. The rooms were very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The desk only had one outlet, though, which was very disappointing. The shower took a long time to become hot but the water pressure was nice. I forgot my swimsuit so I couldn't try out the pool but it looked very nice.

This is a very convenient hotel for the Elmsford/White Plains area. It sits on the side of a hill, the parking lot is a bit strange, but that's ok. I've been to this property multiple times, and you can't beat the price considering how expensive most of the hotels are in the area. It's a fairly nice hotel, but the traffic is loud if you have a room on the front side of the hotel. Overall, it's a good place to stay in the area.

"Stay Away" In the four years I've been coming here never did I think that the Embassy Suites would turn into Motel 6. First let me explain what we've experienced since Friday, the pool was closed due to a kid vomiting in the pool. Also watching Adults getting wasted while the kids run throughout the Atrium like wild Indians & I had called the Manager Brenda arrived to DO NOTHING TO STOP KIDS NOR THE PARENTS. Also police were called because there was a thug party going on in one of the Rooms & them causing a RUCKUS in the Lobby. Also was charged $50 for PARKING FOR the 2 days I was here. We have a tradition to come here with the family once a year for our Little Gettaway BUT AFTER THIS EXPERIENCE WE DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE SPENDING OUR MONEY IN THIS DUMP!!!! VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

Got stuck in Chicago, thanks to my airline for mechanical delays. This was the hotel that I was put up in. It actually wasn't so bad for being a hotel airport. My only real complaint is the shuttle system to get to the hotel. Turns out it actually doesn't come to the terminal unless you call them to. Well the lady at the airline desk didn't tell us that. It took some time for them to come after making multiple calls to the hotel. Check in took a while since there was an entire shuttle full of us. The hotel was nice for the most part. It's interesting all rooms have glass doors looking in with curtains. The carpet made it a little hard to wheel my suitcase though. The room was very large, it has a sitting area with a TV and a wet bar area with a small fridge and microwave. There is a door to close off the area. The bathroom is in the room side and there is also another sink in the room in addition to the one in the bathroom ad the wet bar for a total of 3 sinks. A little odd to me. The bathroom was clean it wasn't in bad shape. The only real complaint was the toiletries were terrible. The body soap was very rough and dry. I wasn't a fan of the shampoo or conditioner either. I normally bring my own stuff but I was getting stranded there so I had already discarded/used all my stuff. The bed wasn't bad as to comfort. It looks like it has seen better days and needs to be updated to meet bed bug issues. My real issue was the outlet plug was extremely difficult to get to the ones near the bed. There are two bed side tables in the room I was in. They each had a lamp but the outlet was in the extreme corner away from the bed. You had to move the entire side table out to get to it. It was very dusty back there too. It was poorly planned on that part. I ended up just plugging all my stuff in near the 3rd sink outlet in the room. They offer free breakfast but I did not stay long enough to enjoy that. I took the first flight out of Chicago to get back home. I did however order room service and that was a terrible experience in it's own. I tried calling room service from my hotel phone. I called twice and the phone rang for a total of about 30 minutes before I gave up. I also attempted to call the front desk with that phone no answer either. It was strange and very annoying. I finally gave up and used my own cell phone to call the hotel and then was transferred to room service, where I could finally place my order. I ordered Chicken Tenders and was told it would be to my room in 30 minutes. After about 45 minutes I gave up and went to take a shower. Apparently in that time they came and then when I was about to go to bed they called me to see if I still wanted the items. I agreed since I was starving. It came up after about 10-15 minutes. The girl was extremely nice, but the food was terrible. It clearly came straight from a freezer, but there was no consistency in the chicken tenders. There were tiny pieces large pieces, very strange. The fries were awful as well. I wasn't expecting much from the hotel room service, but I was starving and for the price it's really not worth it if you don't have any other choice. I give this place a 3 because the room itself was good, but the other accommodations that comes with the hotel is not that great. If you are looking for a reasonable nights sleep this place is okay. But if you need other amenities, this may not be the place for you.

Overall the hotel is outdated and so far the staff we've interacted with so far has not been the most helpful. The rooms have fixable damage that has been ignored (Doors on closets not level or hanging straight. Walls with slices left as they are, wallpaper peeling in edges and at connection places etc..). Elevators are slow, jerking up and down, make high pitched noises and often take up to thirty seconds to open the doors at the correct floor. There are even stains on the ceiling. Shower leaked and didn't give full pressure when switching from the tub function. Things here work...but just barely. Also, it is to be noticed there are hardly any power plugs. The nightstand had one, taken by the clock and the lights. Then one across the room, with one part taken by another light. You have to choose to charge one item at time or unplug lights. The hotel is functioning and alright, but don't expect the usual Hilton luxury.

During check in process, there are never enough customer service attendants to get through the line quickly. I tried checking into my rooms three times just to be told each time that our rooms weren't ready yet, all within 2 hours, including not being able to get into our rooms until 4:40pm, well after the check-in time. As an h honors member, I find this process untidy and unorganized.

I love this hotel! The staff was phenomenal. I especially appreciate Mark and Felicia for the time and care they took with my family. We were in town for a funeral and they were so gracious and accommodating. After we checked out we ended up at the ER with my youngest and needed rooms for another night. One call and Mark had rooms ready for us when we returned. The staff that works the breakfast area, Lena and Andrew, were constantly checking on us to see if we needed anything. They were so friendly. When customer service isn't always the best in most establishments it was most appreciated how everyone here went above and beyond! Thank you!

Definitely not recommended! Most of the staff is unfriendly. Room maintenance is very poorly done. They did not change my bed sheets even on the fourth day and then I had to go and argue with them on the front desk that I did not put a "do not disturb" tag on my door.

It was a good hotel, nice room with enough space for 4 people and such. WiFi was too expensive even with the promo of $9.99 a day for just 3 devices and no free version. I thought the initial cost was already in my first total when booked, but it came out to be about 30 bucks more from I don't know what, which kind of made me wonder what they added to my bill, hopefully not parking because the clerk did say it was included to my bill, not saying anything about it being added right at the spot. Besides the expensive WiFi and added fee, it was okay.

Visited a friend that was staying there for Phoenix Comicon and stayed there last year for the Con myself. I love this hotel. The rooms are huge with a separate bedroom, roomy bathroom, and living area with a small kitchen, desk, table, and pull out couch. You can opt for free hot breakfast buffet in the morning and it is rare that you hear anything going on outside the rooms. There is a small business center where I was able to print off my Con badge email for free and the staff is very helpful. Overnight parking in the adjacent plaza is free for hotel guests as well. I made the mistake of staying at the Renaissance this year where EVERYTHING costs extra or is non-existent compared to the Hilton. I will be staying at the Hilton again in years to come, even if it's a little further away from the Con, the lightrail is right next to it and is almost just as convenient.

Great hotel. Hooked me up with a very early check-in (8am!) so I was able to get a few hours of extra sleep before having to work. Restaurant was good and the hotel is in a good location. Self parking was easy and very close. Room was comfortable and well cooled in the 120° Phoenix heat.

Great location, above average accommodations, and great staff. Parking is available, however it's limited for pickups and vans over 7 feet, so ADA vehicles, and lifted trucks may be pressed to find a spot. Motorcoach groups may be challenged to get access at times, and during business hours, it becomes a fiasco at the portico and garage access road. Lastly, entering from the East, and departing West are your only options, despite what a gps may tell you.

I would have rated this hotel higher, BUT, the Wifi is completely unusable - even the paid-to-upgrade version. This is horrendous. I don't know how any business people could stay there, because even just checking email, and loading a Google Docs page was painfully awful - felt like old-school dial up. Staff was fine, breakfast buffet was good, rooms were good, but pretty much zero internet - bring your own, or go elsewhere.

Stayed on the executive floor 6, facing the water. Great views and access to the executive lounge in the lobby. We got to our hotel for the weekend and ran into a few issues. our room refrigerator was LOUD, and there was mold on the window sill in our room, and I mean a good amount of mold. I'm sure it was a bad seal on the window or something like that because there was a lot of condensation. We called the front desk and they had someone come up and clean it and take a look at the fridge. All things considered the room was nice and the breakfast was tasty.

I booked this hotel many months in advance with the Great Jack O'Lantern Blaze premium package. I strongly recommend this add-on if you are visiting the area for this event, as the VIP "anytime" tickets are worth their weight in gold! I called a few times to be sure about the details of those tickets and our reservations, and each time everyone that I spoke to was personable and professional. A few weeks before our scheduled arrival, Michelle S. called to confirm the number of adults and details of our package. At that time she asked if we intended to visit the Blaze festival more than once and I said no, we had only planned to go one of the nights during our three night stay. She discovered that due to the online reservation system, when we selected the dates of our trip with that package during the booking process, we had reserved that higher rate package for all 3 nights! Since we didn't need 3 sets of VIP tickets to Blaze, Michelle offered to convert the other 2 nights to the bed and breakfast rate, which saved us $200+ on our trip. AWESOME!! We very much appreciated her attention to detail and going above and beyond on our behalf. After this change was made I wasn't seeing correct email confirmations, so I called back and Danielle assisted me with some remaining modifications. Truly superlative customer service from both Michelle S. and Danielle! This stellar experience continued upon arrival, when Danielle helped us again at check-in. Each and every encounter with her was an absolute pleasure and I can't say enough about her commitment to excellence and providing the best possible experience for guests. The warm cookies were sooo yummy and just what we needed after a 10 hour drive and a very stressful detour through NYC. The room was even better than I expected -- well-appointed, clean, and comfortable, including free wifi in the room! Our windows overlooked the central courtyard, which was lovely. The breakfast was an excellent value and very delicious. We didn't use the gym or other amenities, but I have every confidence they were just as nice as everything else. This hotel is highly recommended and an incredible value, especially in this peak season!

I stayed there for four days for an orientation and I really liked the rooms and the food. The AC was either too cold or too hot so you constantly had to carry a sweater with you. Close to the airport, free shuttle (though be prepared to wait for it - we saw other hotels' shuttles come, go and return again before the Hilton one came). Nice modern lobby and rooms. Comfortable beds, but would have preferred a firmer pillow. The sliding door on the bathroom does not offer as much privacy as a regular door. Standard amenities are provided. In room coffee was terrible - as expected). Neat view of the runways and very quiet despite the proximity to the airport. Would stay again - these are all minor complaints, overall it is a perectly acceptable standard mid level hotel with the features you would expect.

Met some friends for drinks. Restaurant was almost empty. Took over 20 minutes for someone to realize we were there. Drinks came quickly. No one came back go check on us, eventually we had to get up from our table, go to the bar and ask for our bill. Fortunately we could pay by cash as no-one came back with a debit machine. And this with the restaurant empty. I would hate to think what is is like when busy

Clean rooms, convenient location to downtown, and nice amenities. The pool and fitness center left something to be desired, but were adequate enough for the price. I've spent a few weeks at this hotel so far for work. I think it's a great hotel, it's walking distance to all sorts of great foodie spots and the rooms are always very clean. Parking is not included in price of stay, I understand this is common in downtown hotels HOWEVER, for 24$ per night, per car, valet parking... they should actually have a valet! First night we handed over the keys and went up to our room for an hour and a half and when we came back down our car was STILL sitting in the unloading zone on the street, un-parked. No wonder the loading zone was ALWAYS full of parked, vacant, cars! Then the next day when we handed the front desk our valet ticket to get our car and head out, they gave us the keys and told us to go get it ourselves! lol. Your best bet is to park in the lot across the street. Its cheaper, and the same amount of effort is required. Also, we asked for a late checkout at the front desk and they gave us till 12:30, but for some reason housekeeping tried to enter the room 3x before 9:30AM(even with the 'do not disturb' tag on the door)!! Overall its a nice hotel but the staff is seems unorganized and understaffed.

Things started pretty bad but did get better. My room had a very loud banging pipe noise at 6am, coming from the air vent in the bathroom. None of the staff was familiar with this, so perhaps it was an aberration. The got me a better room the next day. This is a very odd layout for an upscale, downtown hotel. The Hampton only occupies the lower floors of the building. Fellow Hilton Hotel 'Homewood Suites' has all the upper floors. As these mega-chains continue to buy up smaller chains, we may see more of this. Throw in the $39 valet parking, and it felt like a 3.5 star hotel at 4 star prices. Note to anyone staying downtown: If you choose to park on the street, you need to pay all the way up to 10pm and not a minute short. The meters themselves will monitor you right up til 10pm sharp. You can then get ticketed later. (No, I'm not making this up.) That said, the staff and facilities were otherwise up to spec and things got better as I settled in for my 2nd and 3rd days. Hampton mainstays (hot breakfast, smart staff, good beds, spacious lobbies, updated features) all work.

A short walk (3 blocks) and we were on the 16th St Mall. Great location for launching our downtown adventure. Hotel was clean and quiet, with crisp sheets. We were upgraded to a suite, I think because of my HHonors status. Breakfast was a little about standard with cheese omlets, make your own waffle, and the normal yogurt, cereal, and fruit. The only issue we had was with the bedside USB charges, we plugged our phones in, they showed charging, but by morning they were completely dead. Had we been using them as our alarm it would have been problematic. Using our normal wall charger fixed the problem.

I stayed here 2 nights in May, while visiting colleges with my daughter. We arrived late and were tired, the check in was very fast and the girl was friendly and welcoming. In the morning the breakfast was good, and the staff was amazing! They helped us with everything from suggestions for meals and entertainment to directions to the college. All of their suggestions were on point. The gentleman working that evening even helped us warm up our dinner, since we didn't have a microwave in our room. The room was comfortable and very clean. The fitness room was not bad for a hotel. The pool was nice. The whole stay was great. This hotel was the 4th hotel on our trip. All were Hilton properties and this was the only one that thanked me for being Honors Gold. I have, and will continue to recommend this property to anyone going to Pittsburgh. Location is good and not far from the French Quarter. The lobby is very well done and on the 11th floor. I was using points for a free stay and the room we were assigned had a strong chemical smell so we asked for a room change. The next room next door had a very strong flower smell but we decided to stay in that room. The beds were adjustable with a knob from soft to firm. We were unable to get the beds to become comfortable but being out all day and late into the evening we still slept soundly. Overall a below average experience for a Hilton Garden Inn.

This the worse Hilton I've ever stayed at. First of all. For the price of these rooms and to charge additional 30+ dollars for parking. Then we get our room. Well it's a handicap accessible room. Not that it matters too much. But I'm not handicap. The bathroom is very spacious. But only has a tiny tub. Not sure if the is cause it's a handicap room or not. It had multiple hand rails it. So maybe that's why. But again. I'm not handicap. The room is a nice size for what it is. But. Again. Not done right. The tv is small and so far away from the bed. If you watch something it's basically watching a movie on 19" tv that is 2 feet from you. ( this may not matter to most but when I ready chill for the even, I like to watch the tube ) Now the bed. It's "suppose to be a sleep number". No it's not. It's some knock off that doesn't work. It took use several minutes to find the adjustment ( I was looking for a remote or push button pad ) dial. Yes a dial. It built into the side the bed. It changed levels of firmness very little. It was firm no matter what. Last but certainly not least. Our room was right buy the elevators. That was the worst thing about this whole stay. It sounded like air planes flying back and fourth all night. ( I know this for a fact cause I live in a area with a international airport, Air National Guard base and a Air Force Base ) Sleep at this place was not good. I tried to enjoy my stay But had trouble doing so cause I was falling asleep during the day from not sleeping. For the price of these rooms at regular rates. I'd expect much more. Even the rates I paid ( booked online through a third party ) I've stayed at Best Western Hotel for much less. And had a much better sleep and just as nice hotel room. I highly do not recommend this place to anyone.

First of all, if you're answering phones you should have some sort of customer service experience. OBVIOUSLY this young lady doesn't know what that is because when I called for directions because they closed roads for the parade, she put me on hold 3 times and then hung up on me twice....didn't ask me where I was, or try at all to help me figure it out. I explained that we even stopped to ask the Police to help us get there and she continued to hang up on me. Never got me help. I just waited and waited. I will not ever stay here again.

The hotel looks nice, but the front desk people can have a bit of an attitude. I got my room key and went up to the room, but the key didn't work. So I had to take my stuff back down to the front desk and there was one guy who wasn't helping anyone. I went up to him and asked to have him rerun my card. He said I would have to go to the end of the counter and wait so he could finish counting his money. He then reluctantly came over and demanded my card to rerun it. He slowly changed his attitude to a more nicer and apologized for the inconvenience many times. The restaurant is ok, but the service is kind of slow. We asked for boxes and our checks and the waiter went and seated and then served two other tables before we just stared at him and he finally brought our stuff over.

I'm staying here right now and I can hear everything through the paper thin walls. A foreign language speaking family and their kid crying. It feels like they are in the same room as me and I barely want to use the toilet. The hotel looks grand but then you have to buy gift cards rather than have calls charged to your room for calls, the coffee in the common area is always running out or cold, on the SECOND day I'm told I can get a breakfast meal made fresh instead of just the buffet... Not impressed. UPDATE: Apparently it's really confusing for the staff when you lose you breakfast voucher. I told them my room number and they looked at like I was trying to steal something. Perhaps they should be able to look it up on the computer more easily???

I am staying here right now. And the service is really horrible. The first night, the ceiling was leaking water In the middle might and I find out in the morning. When I come down to front desk to tell them the problem, the first question they asked was, "did you report it to front desk?" but not trying to help customer first. The worst thing is coming after the room switch. When we back to hotel room tonight we find out that our personal belong, such as toothbrush, toothpaste, bread had been take away. I come to front desk to tell them they we're not try to help to solve such simple problem, In stead, they said, quote: "your room is clean and our staff have no any reason to going to the room you stay"; "we will talk to our clean staff to find out what happened". I told them it is really simple and you can check the security camera and find out who enter the room, they said, quote: "the hotel do not have security camera ". What is going on here, don't you think I am not suffering enough, first the ceiling water leaking and I have to move to the new room; second, my personal belong lost when I out of the room!!!. and need to wait your investigation? Why you make such simple problem so complicated? Can we trust the hotel when we stay without worry our personal belongings? How safe when you stay this hotel? Since they don't have security camera, that may means if anything happens to you, they don't have idea.... (Note: It should be zero star,.if I don't put any star here, it will not let me to any comments )

The staff is great and did go out of their way to fix any problem I had. The view is beautiful. The sheets in my parents room were not changed. When we tried calling guest service hotline no one answered. I went to the front desk and they were very apologetic and sent Chris up to our room. He also was very apologetic and agreed they were not changed and put new sheets on the bed. The new sheets looked used also but I guess that's as good as it gets. I read a review from 3 months ago from a guest about the sheets and the room and she stated it perfectly. The sheets did not feel fresh, usually sheets are ironed and smell clean. The carpet looked dirty, I wouldn't allow my kids to walk on it without their shoes because it turned their white socks black. The hallway smelled stale and stuffy. I just can't understand why there are no screens on the sliding doors. I opened the door for some fresh air and my room was full of bugs. It was perfect weather to keep the door open at night for some fresh air while I slept. The only thing this Hilton has going for them is their staff and the location. Otherwise not worth the money.

We decided very last minute to get away for my husband's birthday. I was able to get a room here through an online Trivago or Expedia thing (not 100% sure) but within an hour of booking we were there and checking in. It was the easiest check in I have had anywhere. The guy at the front desk (Jack) was awesome! I asked him about the best places to eat and he provided me with a list and told me a few pointers. He rocks! We ended up at the Black Pelican and let me just say that it was some of the freshest and most delicious seafood I have ever had. During our stay we also went just across the street (literally) to High Cotten Barbecue which was also amazing. The room and hotel was clean, it was an awesome location and was one of the quietest most relaxing places I have ever stayed. All the staff we encountered there were friendly, they talked and made us feel so welcome. The pier and being out on it both day and night just to enjoy God's beauty was also great. There was some construction going on to get ready for the busy season no doubt but that provided no problems or distractions at all. We ate in the restaurant at the hotel our last night and the guy working ( I am great with faces not names) was extremely busy but he was pleasant, had a great attitude despite working very hard and dealing with many people who may not have been understanding of the fact the place was full of people and he was working with just one or two others to help. The food was delicious there in the hotel also. I hate to leave but will plan to come back for sure and am so grateful for our visit. The price was reasonable and worth it. Thanks for making my husband's special day even more special.

Our vacation started out bad right away. *** My dad called them up for a reservation a couple of weeks ago and they said that they will give us breakfast over the phone. Then when we got into the hotel they said we wouldn't get complimentary breakfast and what my dad said was wrong! That is just unfair!!! Make sure you get what you ordered in writing for that place. Other complaints include, there was crazy construction going on, so you can't even relax in the pool! Also the outside pool is CRAZY Freezing!!! Don't go in that pool either. The only pool that was decent was in the indoor pool! And then the jacuzzi was really amazing and then it all of sudden decided it wouldn't work at all! The last complaint of this horrible hotel is the fact that they said non smoking! Yea right people were smoking on there own balconies! Do not go to this hotel, if you want a real vacation then you might as well reserve some where else my parents are very upset that they didn't get the vacation they want!

I was quite impressed with the Doubletree. Their courteous staff helped to make the best of a bad situation when I was cancelled at RDU and had to spend the night. They even got me to the airport by 4:45 AM.

I stayed at this hotel during a business trip and had heard great things about DoubleTree by Hilton as I had previously stayed at other Hilton hotels such as the Clearwater Beach Hilton Hotel (fantastic, only hotel with direct beach access on Clearwater Beach) and had great luck. I was instantly greeted by employees outside and asked if they could take my bags, to which I told them that I could certainly carry my own bags in but thank you anyways (a nice touch). I then strolled into the main entrance and was promptly greeted by the front desk staff, all of whom were smiling and seemed to enjoy their jobs very much. My room was all ready for me as soon as I arrived and I was in and out of check in, in no time. The front entrance was what I would think a southern mansion, very impressive. The rooms were great too, very clean, open, had everything that I needed to enjoy my stay and was literally 2 minutes from where I had to work and was very close to the airport, although you could not hear any planes flying overhead. The pool and fitness center were great as well as I was able to get in workouts every day while on my business trip. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was nothing short of spectacular, from top to bottom. There was ample parking and the staff also gave me some suggestions as to local places to eat (where the locals go) to get authentic North Carolina fare, yum! I would highly recommend this hotel to the business traveler like myself or even for a family looking for a value priced but much more than average stay at the Double Tree by Hilton.

My family and I stayed here over the weekend (apr 8-10) visiting relatives in the area, and we thought it was wonderful. The room was the 2 bedroom suite and it was very clean, lots of space, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast each morning was great. We would stay here again in the future. Highly recommended...... Karen... Cleveland, Ohio........

Full kitchen was not, in fact, a full kitchen, so that was a disaster. Come prepared to have no way to bake anything. Also, the staff was rude when we were checking in. There was a new girl training, and she was fine, but the women who was training her was quite condescending and nasty to us. All in all, not a satisfactory experience, and I would not return ever.

Nice and updated rooms and lobby. Parking. Fridge and microwave in rooms is nice. Pack and play cribs are a little worn and the first one I was given was broken but they gave me a new one. Room could have used a better vacuum job prior to our arrival as my little one found some things on the floor. Staff if friendly and helpful.

The rooms and atmosphere were great. Loved the double room suites. The fridge and microwave were a nice addition. I'd give the place five stars but the internet was horrible. I couldn't get any kind of consistency until after midnight. This is added to the fact that the t.v. is equally horrible. It was so slow in responding that I would think the remote didn't work and press the button again, and then get two presses. If I waited, it would turn out that the remote hasn't worked and I was waiting for an action that would never come. Added to that, they physically disabled the HDMI ports so you can't plug in your own device, so they are saying in effect, it's our crappy t.v.service or nothing. I was stuck with pre downloaded content on my laptop and tablet. If you just want a nice room in a nice hotel, this place is great. Otherwise, find a place with half decent in room internet and t.v.

The Embassy suites were great. The room was comfortable and we were able to take advantage of the pool which was open pretty late (until 10). The continental breakfast was pretty good as well. The only downside is the awfully slow elevators.

The hotel itself is beautiful. The staff was nice and helpful. The room was just as they said it was and even more comfortable than I anticipated. The Managers Reception was a nice bonus. The hotel restaurant had some of the best Creole cuisine. The hotel is very close to many attractions including restaurants, movies theater, and shopping mall. I was an out of town guest and it very easy to find as well. I will definitely stay there again

I wish I could give half a star and that would only be for the clean rooms and two of the clerks at the front desk at night. Alyssa was very helpful with making sure all of our tickets for the next day were printed out and sent up to the room. Before that happened, I went to the bar to give my fiancé a corona which was advertised as a $5 charge. Before I went down to request this, my fiancé had one at the bar and was only charged $5 and he left his own tip. Keep in mind my fiancé is white and I'm black. I gave this bald headed gentlemen a $10 dollar beer and received only $3 dollars back. Now if I can recall it's our option to give tip at any bar. I didn't want to bring race up but it seem he didn't even want to help me. There were a few people at the bar that were super loud but he seem to be more interested in serving them than me. Next day I had a few questions about the breakfast and if we could get that sent up to our room. The staff was very short with me and seem to again not want to help at all. First I went to the front were Maricruz was occupying the desk, asked about the room service and she seem way too busy to even look up and ask for a min before helping me. She sent me to the bar/kitchen area again and I instantly thought "oh no not again". Let's just say we ended up going somewhere else. That night I was helped by a nice young lady by the name of Megan! She made sure to give me plenty blank sheets of paper for my son to draw on and keep him busy before bed. It honestly sucks that there are so many people that aren't that into their jobs like the little few that helped make our stay a little better. This morning was check out and we were asked by Maricruz about our stay and she seem to not really care again and yet again way too busy lol. Answering more phones while in the middle of us talking to her. I understand how to multi task because I'm a Pharmasist at a very busy location. I was just very dissatisfied with the overall stay. Sucks my fiancé had to spend his bday weekend at this place.

I stayed in room 410 at this hotel, the room was up to date and clean. The TV is decent sized for a 3 star hotel, there is a kitchen in every room, which includes a Keurig Coffee Maker. The bathroom has a decent sized sink, a awesome shower head, and a decent toilet. In every room, there is a chair in the corner. The beds are very comfortable! There is decent sized closet when you walk in to your room. Now, time for the hotel. When you first walk in the hotel, the lobby is very modern. This hotels lobby was remodeled about a month ago. The breakfast is not free, that's a disadvantage. The pool is very nice, including a spa. The hot tub is awesome. The business center is cool, includes 2 computers in the room. The fitness center has precor equipment, which is the room beside the pool/spa area. There is a very big shuttle for this Hilton Hotel. For all you elevator enthusiasts, the elevator is a Schindler. In conclusion, I would definitely recommend this hotel, it is in a great area. This Hilton Hotel has satisfied me, and should do the same to you. I had a wonderful stay, Hilton Garden Inn! Thank you for designing such ham awesome hotel!

Very nice hotel with great business amenities. Decent wireless access but if you bring a travel router and wire that up your wireless speeds go from 2 MB/s to 50 MB/s. They offer a valuable shuttle service to and from many locations for conferences. Just make sure you call for pickup.

The hotel is very nice and clean overall. The lobby is bright and welcoming. The majority of the front desk staff were very helpful. A few seemed like they couldn't be bothered. My only issue I had was, upon arrival, I was told that because we prepaid in full, they needed to have a card on file for accidents /charges. Pretty standard so I handed over my debit card. It all seemed pretty legit and I was actually able to charge some snacks on it so that was nice. The problem I had was the front desk told me nothing would be charged to my account if I didn't use premium Internet/damage the room. What they failed to disclose is an automatic $50 hold was placed on my account for the room. At first I was slightly annoyed,I inquired about the charge upon check out and was assured it would fall off once I checked out. I checked my account (it's 6 hours later) and its still there. So I called to inquire about why there was still a hold. I was then informed it takes 2 to 5 days to come off. Now,I'm a pretty understanding and forgiving person but I find this pretty unacceptable. Their policies should be clear and their guests should be informed. Furthermore, information should be consistent will all employees across the board. I don't disagree with the policy, it's the failure to disclose and conflicting information I take issue with.

This hotel was very comfortable. I stayed in a room with a single King bed. The room was an ADA accessible room which meant it has wider doors. And a grab bar in the shower/tub. The restaurant in the hotel as very good and offered a variety of comfort food as well several healthy options. There was some wear and tear on the wallpaper of the bathroom that detracted from the overall appearance. This would in no way keep me from returning to this hotel. Staff were professional and friendly. The room had a mini refrigerator as well.

We were given the wrong room at first but it was quickly corrected. Despite being at capacity the hotel was clean and seemed able to deal with all the people. Rates were cheaper than another cbus embassy suites and were also cheaper by calling than online. Would use this location again. Some minor construction around the site was the only downfall and added a few minutes to any trip out.

Stayed over Memorial Day May 2014: Heard they were renovating rooms. Must have completed ours as it was on 1st floor. Looked new & clean. Perfect. Best free WiFi connection I've ever experienced in a motel. Staff very friendly. Breakfast room very nice with cozy chairs, couch, bar, excellent breakfast buffet which changed slightly every day (we stayed 3 days). We visit Taos, NM frequently & this is the best motel we have stayed in there. Highly recommend it !

Liked nothing! Heating system was extremely noisy and gave us no way to sleep. Even turning off the system was not possible. Shower was an even more disappointment. No hot water!! No sleep and no hot water?! Worst $215 spent ever!! Hotel did not care about 100% money back guarantee. Hated it!!!

We have stayed at many Hampton Inns across the country and have always enjoyed our stay until we stayed at the one in Taos. The desk staff was not very friendly or helpful. We tried to make reservations by phone and they were having problems with the phones and computers. We left a message and our phone number. The call was finally returned 24 hours later with a half hearted apology, no mention of hoping we would stay there. We did stay a couple of nights later to give them a second chance and because we have stayed in Hampton Inns so many times. Again the desk staff was not friendly or helpful. The free breakfast was not up to the usual Hampton Inn standards.

Worst experience I've ever had booking a room & getting a correct price. People at front desk were nice but not trained, kept changing price. I booked a room but when I finally talked to a manager, she gave me another price! She didnt even say she was sorry for my experience. I've stayed in at least 15-20 Hampton Inns in the past & never had a problem. Of course, I cancelled my reservation. Whoever is the district manager for that area better quickly make some changes!

Im here 2 nights every week for work. Kyle at the front desk rocks. Takes care of everything quickly and effectively. Breakfast isn't bad, good thing about it is that it's usually ready before 6am. This is nice because I'm usually on the road bright and early. The only thing that usually bugs are the showers. Sometimes it's got pressure and a good range of temps, other times its hot or cold and low pressure. Wifi can be spotty sometimes too. But all in all not a bad place.

Clean rooms and friendly front desk female. HOWEVER, the reason for this review being one star(and take with a grain of salt, as your experience may vary) is due to THEFT IN THE PARKING LOT. Three vehicles in two nights belonging to a contractor(Company I work for) had been broken into, and had vehicle components stolen from them and out of them. Two diesel exhaust systems and sensors cut from the harnesses(from the two separate trucks) and one gasoline generator from the third(broken in to a locked, enclosed cargo bed). All totaling $18,000 dollars in damages and property loss. There are no cameras overlooking the parking lot. I don't blame the hotel, I also can't, they have clear signage posted they are not responsible for theft. I blame what appears to be an employee/employees working to steal from other guests. So, that was my experience.

We needed to crash on our journey home and decided to splurge and stay in hotel with a jacuzzi suite and bar/restaurant. Normally I would never spend that much on a room, I am so glad I did. Our family loved it. The room was large, with a separate living room. The bathroom had a shower and the jacuzzi with a shower and a half bath. The kids used the jacuzzi to relax, we had dinner and drinks (mom and dad), and unwound with a movie. Our server for dinner and breakfast was awesome. The dinner menu was limited, I wish there had been more depth. The prices for food and drinks were reasonable. The breakfast buffet was delicious and crazy affordable. Check in and out were a breeze. Fruit infused water was available in the lobby and there were beautiful, quiet sitting areas off the lobby. It was clean, comfortable and provided everything we needed.

We had reservations for party of 7 for dinner. It took 20 minutes to get drinks, water was cloudy and had bad taste! After placing order and waiting over one hour sales had not arrived! We got up and left! This was the worst service I have ever had. Will never return! The kitchen/ restaurant management should be ashamed and definitely needs replaced!

If it wasn't so convenient, I would have given this hotel 1 star. I called in the afternoon to let the front desk know my plans had changed a bit and I would be checking in late Friday night. The phone call was pleasant and accommodating. When I arrived at the hotel, I had to search for a front desk employee so I could check in. The employee that handled my check in was less than professional as he continued an argument with a guest over a bottle of water while he was trying to check me in. It's a bottle of water! Just give the guy a bottle of water and move on it is not worth the fight! The employee wasn't wearing a name tag, a belt or a tie and needed to shave. Wifi was impossible. Ethernet was also bad. I called the front desk to see if I was missing a username of password and my call was never answered. Saturday morning started in the fitness room. The weight machine was missing handles. I found some broken and torn handles on the other side of the room. Why keep them? Replacements are in order. Treadmill was okay. Breakfast was a tad confusing. Buffet or sit down. The server didn't really explain what they were trying to do in the restaurant. And, a refill on coffee was an interruption not a service. The F&BD needs to show up on the weekend to see how things are playing out. It shouldn't be awkward to get breakfast in a hotel. As for my room, the bed was one of those select your firmness bed gimmicks. It didn't work. I might as well have slept in a hammock. I asked at the front desk how it was suppose to work. I wasn't doing anything wrong, the bed must be broken? Also, it seems my room must have been used for parts because it was missing a few lamps. The one by the sitting chair was missing and the night stand light was missing a bulb. A call to the General Manager to discuss my concerns was not returned. Conrad Hilton would turn over in his grave if he knew his name was on the side of this hotel. UPDATE: I finally called the corporate guest services telephone number and registered my complaint. Hilton took care of me. Then I received a phone call from the hotel manager. He tried to fain ignorance of my complaint and then tried to blame me for some of the issues. The hotel manager is a rude person. I hung up on him.

Pretty decent hgi. I stay at these whenever I travel and this is the third best one I have been to so far. Spent a lot of time here. Everything was great aside from 1 issue. Consistency of rooms. Sometimes I would stay and everything was great. Other times various things in the rooms would be broken. Bed firmness dial, shower handle, sink. Not all of this would happen in 1 room, and it wouldn't happen all the time, it was random but disappointing.
