We had to withdraw our child from the kindergarten program( KinderCare Mundelein 695 S. IL Route 83, Illinois) because it is not accredited by the State of Illinois, and the director did not tell us the truth. She told us it was recognized, and the teacher would prepare our bilingual daughter, born after September for the first grade readiness test. The teacher never did it and was not aware of the test in our public school ( she is young and has no experience at all). She was not communicative. She did not reply my husband' s email or phone calls until we complain. She did not give us feedback about our bilingual child's progress until she had to take the readiness test. We complained more when the teacher gave us a poor report card written in pencil. There is no appreciation, not the teacher's signature and not our daughter's attendance. Awful, we paid a lot ( about 1400 dollars per month). Our daughter failed the test but the director did not care. She called me for the check!

I have used 3 daycare centers since my baby was 2 years old and the first two were just horrible. I almost decided to stay home and quit my job because I couldn't find anyone I could trust. My friend suggested kindercare because at least those centers have to pass certain guidelines to be a part of kindercare. I decided to try them before I gave up on the entire daycare concept and I couldn't have been happier. I know every center is independently run, but our center is run by a great woman and I would recommend anyone who is looking for a daycare to at least check out their local kindercare.

Kindercare is an OK center if your child is one who fits perfectly in the "box". They are rather a warehouse for children, not a childcare center. The employees are good people, and well intentioned but certainly not anything special.

I love this place, so are my kids.  We've been with them since my son was only 9 months old and he's now in first grade.  My little one is almost 5 and also enjoys it.  Safety was my top concern when we were looking for a daycare center.  Knowing that they have procedure and policies in place and have routine safety drills is a peace in mind.  The facility is bright and well structured.  I'm very font of the outdoor playground area which has plenty of space for kids to run around and let out their energy.  The staffs and teachers are very warm and wonderful.  As a parent it feels great to watch my children happily running up to their teachers and giving big hugs.  That tells me they are very well cared for and received lots of TLC (Tender, Love, and Caring).  The monthly Parents' Night Out is great.  We get to enjoy a dinner or movie without kids.  And kids get to have fun with their friends outside regular school hours.  They also offer many enrichment programs.  Growing up in a bi-lingual family, my children sure benefit a lot from the phonics and reading program.  And that gives me a great relief knowing they feel confident and positive about their language abilities and learning experience.

Parents BEWARE!!Im sorry but our experience at this "care" facility was awful. First of all and most important to us as parents is our child's happiness, health and safety. This place was very dirty, smelly and some poor kids were always walking/running around with a runny nose, no one would clean them. On the safety end they get a star for having a code to go into the facility. And for the happiness part my child never got used to this place because she got sick every week. It came to a point that the Doctors even asked if she had Ebola!! (Fever, throwing up, chills, lost so much weight, colds) I now laugh at this statement but it was a horrible experience while going thru it. I stopped taking my child here because of all the times she got sick. I called them to tell them I was not taking my child there anymore & I was still charged for the last 2 weeks for not giving them a 2 week notice! How are we supposed to take a sick child to a "Care" place when she is sick? These people dont care, they just want your $$. Fortunately I was on maternity leave & I had the time to take my child to the hospital and be with her while sick & to do my research on more daycares. I found out that there are good, bad, great and excellent places to take your child. Unfortunately this was not a good place for our child, it was dirty and unprofessional.

I highly recommend this Kindercare facility for infant and toddler age.  My daughter was 19 months old when she started here in the toddler room and we had such a wonderful experience.  My daughter had no prior daycare experience so it was hard for her to adjust at first but I know the staff and teachers were so caring and compassionate with her that she eventually looked forward to attending.  It was hard to me to get used to her attending daycare but I remember that all of my worries went away when I would show up to pick her up and see her happy and engaged.  I feel like my daughter's first daycare experience couldn't have been any better and I highly recommend anyone looking for a quality daycare facility to check out kindercare in evergreen!

My son is excited to meet new kindergarten students. Plus side they provide transportation for kids that go to school around the area! A working parents savior!

I'm on a quest to find a new daycare for two of three of my children (possibly all three) who are currently ages 5, 3, and 1. I have passed by this Kindercare multiple times, always impressed with the landscape and cleanliness of the outside. Lots of curb appeal. What I look for in a non-denominational day care provider is that they have a rigorous approach to education at all ages, distribute learning throughout the day (not just in one time block), the ratio of children:teachers, parent involvement requirements, etc.I like Kindercare in general because all three of my children can go here, up until age 12 for before/afterschool care. They also take government subsidies with the option of a copay. Extra tutoring sessions are offered in 5-6 different areas of academics for an additional fee.For my 5 yr old they offer private kindergarten, and when he goes to school they offer transportation to/from neighboring schools. Love it!For my 3 yr old, the classroom setting was standard. For my 1 yr old I loved that the ratio was 1:4 childrenA few things that stood out about this location.. the administrators were all friendly, the kids have an abundance of learning opportunities, and each age group of children has their own outside play area (even the infants).I was not a fan of the indoor set up. While the 1-2 yr olds have their own classrooms, the rest of the school is an "open" layout and partitions divide most of it. When I walked in the noise level was incredible, and granted it was free play, I can only image what it sounds like during structured activities.Overall, I would send my children here if the location fit my needs, but fortunately I found another Kindercare facility that was a better fit for our family (see other review!)

Our son was in this branch from 6 months to about 2 years.Pro: 1) This branch was walkable from our house.2) Some of the teachers he had were good - Miss Espi(infant room) and miss angie (she is no longer in this branch) and miss casey for toddler room were great.3) The hygiene is alright (washing their hands before meals is mostly followed)Cons:1) Apart from these 2 teachers, I was not really impressed with other teachers. In the toddler room, I found some teachers behaving differently with different kids (preferential towards few). I mentioned this to one of the teachers in the toddler room as well. In the toddler room, once Angie left I was not too pleased with the care our son got from replacement teachers.2) The food they give is aweful. Most of it is canned (canned beans, canned sugary fruit, canned tomato sauce!), lots of white bread, sugary sweet yogurt. Why would you give kids such small age, whos taste buds are still developing such unhealthy food?! I was especially surprised that in summer they were given canned peaches when the markets were flowing with fresh juicy ones. I had mentioned this to Lora and for few days after that I did see fresh peaches in menu. Apart from berries and bananas (which are not available canned), everything else was canned.3) You do have the option of sending from home, which we tried for few days, but you know how it is with kids - if they see majority eating something else, they will want that. And unfortunately it did not work with us, and we had to stick to their food.4) When our son was an infant, I thought his transition into the infant room was not handled well. They would let him cry a lot (saying this is what kids do when introduced to new env). I have no issues with kids crying for specific reason, but I would have liked to see some active involvement from teachers at that time to at least distract him, play with him or try to make him stop.5) Overall we stuck to this day care because it worked out well logistically with the location and all, otherwise I am not impressed.

Don't let the NAEYC accreditation fool you, this is a mismanaged Kindercare. Want teacher stability and wholesome breakfast? Look elsewhere. Don't get me wrong, I tried to like it. Really. For 10 whole weeks.  Didn't work out.  And when you submit your 2 weeks' notice of "Intention to Leave" and nobody bats an eyelid/asks for your reason to leave, you realize they didn't appreciate your business in the first place. Here is my honest experience during the 10 wks that my daughter was enrolled here (15th Jun - 21st Aug 2015) in the Preschool classroom (3-4yr olds). Email me and I can share emails written to Kindercare staff voicing my concerns. * Class Teacher changesIn 10 weeks, my daughter went through 5 teachers. Yes, FIVE.  It, really, is  a sad state of affairs. Her first two class teachers lasted four weeks and then abruptly BOTH were let go at the same time. I myself have complained of lack of interest and insufficient engagement for 1 teacher, and the other teacher was cold and indifferent. (I was brusquely told "get a water bottle tomorrow" when I asked her for a disposable glass because my daughter was really thirsty then and couldn't drink from the fountain on her first day at the center in spite of trying. Really, TOMORROW? My little girl is thirsty NOW!). A substitute teacher took over for a week and then they got 2 brand new teachers. The kids had started gelling with them, when last week a note was stuck to inform that 'Ms. K was not a good fit and hence let go'. So now we are back to 1 class teacher and 1 temporary substitute teacher. The quality of recruits doesn't appear satisfactory.  * Breakfast Where do I start! I can sum it up in one word - SKIMPING. I have complained and even escalated to District Manager and VP when I didn't find sufficient food on breakfast table 3 days in a row. That was my breaking point. Here's what I found unacceptable:- Items missing from published menu (no fruits at table when schedule says otherwise), non-replacement of food groups (schedule says banana, but there is no appropriate substitution if they are out of Bananas. In fact, there is NO substitution!) and insufficient food (kids walking around saying 'no blueberry jelly today', center director says we are out of it).  This is really unacceptable when you have a YEARLY published calendar. Kids ate DRY BREAD/bagel and MILK that day, no fruits, no jelly. Also we all understand if perishables run out, but NONPERISHABLES? Makes you wonder if anyone is even planning this. - overripe brown bananas  (twisted by hand to make 2  portions!) - imagine whether your child will go for that twisted mangy mess- missing plates, insufficient cutlery (kids have asked teachers for plates, spoons, bowls;  if they run out of cutlery, parents have relayed info to cook to replenish)- class teachers not aware of menu (yes, the new class teacher once told me she didn't know about a published menu)- irresponsible teachers - one PreK teacher used to cut scraps of paper at breakfast time rather than paying attention to kids' needs at breakfast. Its like they didn't care!- insensitive servers: Once I pointed out there was no fruit, the cook got a bowl of berries and put it on the breakfast table - but didn't remove the cling film. It felt like that she didn't want to serve it coz that bowl was reserved for lunch time (perhaps!) not for breakfast. The kids didn't touch it (obviously!). If feels like they are skimping on promised published food. If you have a published menu, stick to it. If you cant stick to it, substitute it with something appropriate (we all understand substitutions), but it is downright unacceptable when you don't offer a complete food group. I have only paid attention to breakfast and don't know if things are any different for lunchtime. So, if you want to know, find out at your own risk (or rather your child's!). And oh, here are the PROs: 1. Generous parking spaces2. Ms. Mirian (the lone new class teacher of Preschool kids currently) is great - caring, attentive and invovled!3. A genuinely empathetic center director who lends you an ear (it's an excellent trait, but forgive me if I also want reassuring results - my 10weeks here were not exactly a cakewalk)That said, I do wish the center good luck and hope it improves over time - good enough for a parent to trust their 3yr old with them.

My daughter has been in this Kindercare since, she was 4 months. At first, I was so scared and not sure about leaving my baby. But, then, what I really like about Kindercare, is that I feel that my daughter is learning new things and making friends everyday! Now she is 3 years and 4 months and she is still learning so much. I am so happy with the teachers, they are very professional and the system that Kindercare is using to help my baby grow healthy. I'm telling my family and friends to enroll their children on programs like Kindercare, because it helps your baby become brighter and confident!

I have three boys. All three have attended this daycare. My youngest who is now 4 attends here. It is wonderful to see some of the same staff from 10 years ago still here! i like the security on the door to get in and get out. Clean and very friendly staff. Teachers are great!!! I would highly recommend this place for anyone that needs infant to pre-k care! One great benefit is if you refer someone you both get a $200 credit. So feel free to use my name "Tolbert" if you decide to go there :) I could use the credit....LOL

Our daughter (toddler) is going to this center for a while now. I must say this facility is really good and better than some other locations. The staff is awesome and the director miss Lora is really nice and helpful. The rooms are big and separated from other classrooms. One thing I noticed that the food quantity they serve during lunch or snack is just about sufficient.

Our daughter has been enrolled at KinderCare Santa Clara for the past year, and we love it! She started in the Toddler room at 20 months, and is now in the older Twos room at 2 1/2. The initial transition from home to daycare was difficult at first, but the teachers were very patient and did their best to make our little girl (and Mommy and Daddy) as comfortable as possible. I was encouraged to bring her to the center to play a couple of times before leaving her on her own. I really liked that the outdoor play areas are attached to the classrooms. No walking through hallways our down sidewalks to go play! We were (and still are) able to drop-in and check on her anytime, which was helpful for all of us as well. It didn't take long for her to adjust and thrive with her little buddies in the classroom. Now as a two year old, our daughter is as happy as ever. She comes home singing new songs, counting, naming letters, talking about bugs, or whatever else she may have learned that day. I honestly think she learns more being at KinderCare than she would if I were home with her full time! She is also fully potty-trained, and the teachers have been very helpful and supportive throughout the process. The classrooms even have adjacent bathrooms with kid-sized toilets and sinks to make it that much easier. The administrators and staff are friendly and cheerful. We are encouraged to ask questions, and the teachers are very good about communicating any issues that may have arisen during the day. I could go on... The bottom line is, we feel safe at KinderCare and could not be happier with the quality of care our family has received!

I used to be a KinderCare mom - I was a happy kindercare mom. My daughter is now in a private school but KinderCare prepared her to get her next steps. The staff at kinder care are loving and attentive. Their program is great.. it worked out for my child and I hope it does the same for you.

I LOVE Kindercare Santa Clara.  The staff is great, very knowledgeable and always friendly.  Whenever we come in in the morning they great my son and I with a smile.  At pickup they let me know what he did that day and how he was.  Our son sometimes has a bit of separation anxiety in the morning and they always make the transition really pleasant and take his mind off being scared that mommy and daddy are leaving.  They have frequent special parents night out days where we can leave him for a couple hours after the center usually closes to have a parents night out.  They also have a lot of nights where the parents can go and have fun with the kids, like the 'Winter Gala' and the 'Harvest Festival'.  The front office staff (Stacy and Lora) are great.  Love the newsletters and Friday cookies!

My son has been with Kindercare for  5 years, and 3 of those years were here at this location. I have toured other centers and other daycares, nothing compares to the quality of care like Kindercare.I only have one child. I am "that" mother that is overprotective and have high expectations when it comes to care. This Kindercare always meets and exceeds my expectations. The staff is very caring. I love them all. My son is currently in the Kindergarten program with Ms. Michelle. She is very warm, nurturing and actually listens to the children. The ration is 1 to 12. You can't beat that.I highly recommend this place!

Great school. Not a "day care" our daughter started learning immediately. The staff is awesome. It is a happy place for kids. My daughter is always smiling when we drop her off and pick her up. She has made great friends and good relationships with her teachers.

I had my child here for 3 weeks and was highly disappointed. This review is for the "toddler room" only! Here is a list of my experience with the short stay.Pros :- The Director is nice and easy to talk to.- Long hours help.- Meals included.- The teachers are good to the kids.Cons:- Was not assigned a primary care. Her daily sheet was with some different teacher's file everyday.- Few times she came home with a different diaper than the one I had provided.- When I enrolled the capacity was told to be 16 and by the time we joined it was 20. - The toddler room is small and dirty. Never found it very clean.- Many times I saw the daily sheets being completed when I got there including the diaper change times, which makes me think how accurate they are.

My daughter, Kyra Nguyen, has been attending this school since classrom 2, at around the age of 2, and now she is 4.5! The Director, Stacy, and her staff are all very friendly, nice, and supportive. They're always smiling and greeting us, as well as helping us through all concerns. Kyra is now in the Kindergarten program, classrom 5 and definitely enjoys it. Although she's a very picky eater, the teachers there were all able to get her to try different things and open up new taste buds she didn't know she had. Unfortunately, we recently took a family friend's referral to pull her out to attend a Vietnamese Catholic DayCare school that will allow her the same academic + religion teaching + vietnamese language teaching as well. Even though she's learning her culture and religion there, I still would rather have her attend KiderCare at this location. Everything about this school is perfect. They provide daily reports about what your child eats, did, and will do. Kyra excel so much by being here. She's made some very sweet friends along the way that made it much harder to make the decision to pull her out. All in all, this school is awesome! I highly recommend it and would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have (just contact me). Here is why I rated this place 5 stars!Friendly - YESHelpful - YESSupportive of your child's learning and developments - YES!Understanding - YESTreats everyone equally - YESSafe - YESSecured - YESProvides Snacks & Warm lunches  - YESToddler / Kid Size toilets & sinks - YES (BIG PLUS)Student to Teach ratio well balanced? - YESOffers good academic - YESEncourages Playing to Learn - YESChallenges the kids - YESTeaches them responsibilities - YESPromotes socialization (Group activities) - YESOnline Payments for easy transactions  - YES (big plus)Provides 1 week of vacation time a year - YES -- very nice Accommodating - YESSo as you can see...there are a TON of YES'...that means this place is the place to put your child in. You have nothing to worry about! If I didn't have my mom to care for my infant (8 months), I'd put her in the infant class b/c I trust them that much!Hurry. and contact Ms. Stacy or Ms. Sarah for an application b/c classes fill up quick. I am considering putting Kyra back if she doesn't like the other school.

Staff is wonderful and caring. Programs promote learning and social interaction and keep the kids engaged & interested. And the extended hours (7a-6p) plus anytime drop-off/pick-up policy makes it super convenient for working parents. A+!

My wife and I transitioned our son and newborn daughter to the Santa Clara Kindercare from Mt. View in November of 2009 due to work commute changes and are experiencing the exact same wonderful and well structured care in Santa Clara that we came to expect in Mt. View. The entire staff, not only the ones taking care of my kids are friendly, attentive and know my kids names, personalities etc. The corporate guidelines, structure and processes that they use company wide at KLC (fire drills, earthquake preparedness, allergic reaction processes) give me a strong sense of security and more than that, the people are just plain wonderful to deal with. The facility is well maintained, bright and encourages learning in a big way. Without certain members of their staff, it would seem my son would never have gotten potty trained. The meals are all healthy and well prepared. In order to write a fair and balanced review, I feel compelled to put down at least one less than desirable feature and that is that sometimes parking is a bit difficult, however I would gladly walk a few extra feet or circle the block once or twice in order to keep my kids in this location. Great people, great place.

My son (now 4) has attended Kindercare in Santa Clara since January 2010. He loves it, and so do we. His teachers are caring and attentive and really understand how boys learn and behave at this age. The director and co-director are extremely nice and plan many fun activities like festivals, holiday parties, and parent nights out. Summer is filled with water play, jump houses, and weekly adventures (fire truck, bubble lady, magicians). Academically my son is on track. he is learning to read phonetically. He can read BOB books by himself. He is learning basic principles of math (measurement, patterns, counting). Kindercare even offers a cooking class once a week. We love the play based structure with the additional Kelsey Adventures courses. We think it provides the right mix of fun and education. The facility is well maintained, parking is easy, and it is conveniently located so that we can use Lawrence Expy to get to and from work. Highly recommend.

After looking at numerous preschools around the area I decided to go with this facility for a number of reasons. For starters the school is inviting with usually one of the directors greeting you in the front foyer and the facility is well maintained. Each room is broken up into age groups: infants, toddlers, two, three and four year old classrooms and a private kindergarten class; they go even further by splitting each individual class with different teachers so that the younger children are doing activities more appropriate for their maturity level while their older peers in their class do other activities (i.e 2 - 2.5 y/o with one teacher, 2.5 - 3 y/o with another teacher). In addition by having the "room" environment it helps minimize all the noise and distractions that i have seen in other centers that opt for a large room approach that i felt would be too stimulating for my child. Lastly, I chose this center because I needed a center that would allow my oldest son to thrive and grow but also allow me to enroll his future siblings. Since enrolling my son in 2009, I have been nothing but satisfied. The staff is delightful and engaging with all teachers knowing all of the kids even if they aren't in their class. The school is well organized and will send emails for payment reminders and allow you the option to pay on-line. Aside from the core curriculum (which you get a copy of at the beginning of the unit so that you no know what your child is learning) there are additional classes that your kid can do during the day (i.e dance/music; science, phonics, math, cooking etc). The cost of these classes are in addition to the weekly tuition but well worth the cost. My son has been in the phonics and math class for three months and he has learned so much in such a short time because his teacher is engaging and makes his 30min class so much fun that he can't wait to learn more things. The kids are wonderful and well behaved; my son hasn't come home having picked up foul language or inappropriate behaviors that i know some of my other friends have had to deal with, with their children. I could keep going but i want people to finish this review :-). My second son just started in the toddler room, and just like his big brother he is doing absolutely wonderfully! I couldn't recommend this facility any more highly!!!!

My daugther has been going here since she was 12 months since Jan 2010. Before I enrolled her, I visited many centers and this had the best infant room. We chosed it because the caregivers showed a lot of patience and affection towards the infants, the room has big windows and there is a lot sunlight there which makes it a positive environment. In addition, they were always very flexible when I asked for specific things to do for my baby. And it is open almost every day and closed on the same holidays I don't have to work. Other centers would have several weeks were they close for "breaks" like Appleseed Montessori or One World Montessori...and their infant rooms are smaller and darker.

The teachers at this center are very caring - almost all the teachers know each child's name from the entire center, which is pretty impressive.  I also love the Assistant Director, Stacey.  She is extremely warm and takes time in each classroom to observe and interact with the kids.  I've personally seen her craft some creative toys out of huge cardboard boxes for the kids - where else would you see that?  She takes concerns very seriously, and acts on them when necessary.  Great extracurricular progams too - like cooking, music, and reading (most begin at age 3).  The center also offers parent's nights out - which is a great plus for busy moms!

I went in for a tour with my 17 mo son and it was great TILL I seen this woman in tha infant room snatch a baby up one handed by tha arm and plop him in a different spot! Oooo I was livid, tha director came up to me to start my tour and I asked her if they always snatch babies up like that and she did NOTHING! I told her our tour was over my child will not be attending their facility and that woman should be fired! Because if that was my kid being snatched up like that I woulda went to jail! I recommend avoiding this establishment all together, all looks well till you see something that they think you won't see!

KinderCare has been great to my kids so far!! I have no complaints. They are very sweet to my kids. They love on them and my kids love going here. They are always very excited to go to daycare and spend time with their teachers and friends they have met along the way. They are learning new things every day. My 4.5 year old has learn so many new things and my 3 year old as well. Great job KinderCare!! Keep up the good work!!

Absolutely horrible operation! Starting at the door, the interior smells like old food and body odor and everything you touch feels greasy. They are very understaffed and the staff they do have are overwhelmed. My son was bitten by another child who was described as a “known biter” and we were told we were lucky because she had injured other children much worse. My son has been in daycare since he was 9 months old and loves going to school, but begged and cried “no school” when we would pull into the drive at Kindercare. If you are considering Kindercare in Midwest City, I would urge you to stop by unannounced and take a careful look at the operation before you subject your little loved one to their substandard care.

THE BEST daycare. I was so scared to leave my daughter at daycare for the first time but this staff is AMAZING. My daughter cries by the door begging me to take her every morning. She loves all of her teachers. The director takes and prints photos of the kids every single day. I have at least 100 photos of my daughter playing or drawing or napping....and they are all laminated for me. They save ALL of her artwork too. I cannot believe what an wonderful experience this has been for my little girl and I am beyond grateful.

Started out unimpressive when Manager was gone but when she returned she quickly fixed the problems we had brought up and haven't seen a problem since. Remaining/new staff seems very passionate about child development and enjoy to be around kids and colleagues. They actually have plans, menus, etc mapped out which is apparently rare to find in this area. They have a solid form of communication with parents and are always open to visits/check-ins. Accommodate special diet needs which is AMAZING and I truly hope the Mustang School District follows suit because it makes life so much better for the parents and children. Constantly bring home projects from the kids (showing development and learning as a focus instead of free-play and TV like other places focus on). Reports are accurate and truthful (diapers, naps, menu, etc) which shows attention to detail and honesty which is lacking in other places around town. Verdict: A+ rating! Can't stress how great this place has been. Our kids are back on a positive track and are really blossoming here. The cost is around the high end for the area but money well spent in my opinion. Get what you pay for; compromise on your children is a compromise on our future.

My child has been going to Kindercare for a few months and we are very pleased. The director, Ashley, is very professional and on top of things. Our daughter's infant teacher Kasey is outstanding. She is such a great teacher. We could not be happier with the teacher and director. Any concern we have is addressed with the director immediately. I do not know who posted these reviews, but I am sure they are old and do not apply now.

The previous review is out of this world. I have worked for Kindercare in the Toddler room since October of 2011. Koy is no longer there, she quit when I started. The Infant room teacher also left that same day. Things have changed, including directors. They do have trouble keeping teachers, but that is because the pay is so low and some people can’t handle the stress. Teachers are not shuffled around, there are some floaters that help out during lunches and at the end of the day but all daycares run like that. No one can stay from open to close, that would make for 12 hour days! The one teacher that I would worry about it a young, little red head, I will not say her name because I still work there. I don’t trust her, and I would and don’t trust her with my child. And she is a bus driver so it makes me very worried. She gets lost picking the kids up at school! She over feeds and under changes the infants when she was helping out in there. She is many crayons short of a full box. They have to be careful because they may loose good teachers just because of this back stabber, which is truly a shame.

My daughter attends this center and her reading has drastically improved! She goes everyday after school and loves it! They will even provide me extra work assignments to practice with her at home. I loved it so much I am now a teacher there myself. The center director Ms.Jones has been a real blessing my daughter's life as well as mine! #teamkindercare

I have had my little girl at this school for over almost two years now. I absolutely love it here! My daughter gets the individual attention that every young child needs, and all of the teachers that she has ever had have always been wonderful. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences here, and they always have fun opportunities for the children to be involved in. All of the teachers that she has had, have their own children and are very respectful of my wishes and requests. She has only been sent home when she has been sick and needs to be at home. Of course, every parent gets their own experience at any center that they choose to have their child go to, and this has been mine...I am thankful to have found such an inviting place to have my child attend until she is able to attend elementary school.

It was awful! Took the school 3 incidents to kick a boy out for exposing himself and telling the girls that he wanted to have sex with them. The teachers are lazy and sloppy and RUDE. If you go to them with a concern, they just blow you off. You can always hear teachers yelling at the kids as you come down the hallway. If you child's stuff gets missed placed then they blame your child, even though it was actually the teachers fault. They had a head lice exposure and did not tell the parents until after all the kids were exposed to the 5 kids that had it. This school needs some serious changes. They never follow policy. DONE AND DONE. Oh and the school smells like a dirty diaper at all times.

I began as the Center Director here in September. I have twin boys that are 2 and a half years old. They are both here with me. The way that they have learned and grown over the last few months is amazing! Ms. Kristi and Ms. Mayra are nurturing teachers who encourage the boys to stretch their skills. The environment at the center is warm and friendly, a community of families working together to raise well rounded children. The play based curriculum is amazing! When you walk into a classroom, you can tell what the kids are learning about, and that they are actively involved in the learning, not just watching. My boys ask to go to school even on the weekends!

I would also like to add that they have taught her so much. She is able to write all her letters, do simple math, and they encourage her imagination. She couldn't be happier and neither could I.

My son has so far been in a few daycare in couple of cities, Norman kindercare at 1205 West Boyd St., Norman, by far mark is the best we have seen!! the staff are really caring and treat my son like their own... I am so happy to have chosen them for my son, inside and out side is clean, food is good and healthy and more importantly all the teachers are educated and very nice once, I was 20 minutes late, all I did was to call them letting them know that I can not be on time, the teacher understood and kept my son for 20 more minutes without any penalty... in every single day care I have seen or heard, they would charge you 10$ per minutes and if the parents are late and after 10 minutes if you don't pick up your child, they will send the kid to police station..... God bless every one in this daycare

The facility inside is okay. But outside, the playyard is terrible, very unsafe. They put the kids on hard playgound, as a result, the kids got hurted very easily. Some teachers are bad. They teach the kids very little, let the kids sleep a long nap and don't change the diaper when needed. My little one was very unhappy in there.

My children learned so much at this center. Both of my children went to Kindergarten reading! This center has teachers and staff who provide the highest quality care for children and they truly care about the children and families. The curriculum includes Phonics, Writing, Journals, Math, Spanish, Science, Social Studies, and even more. Early Childhood Education in the most valuable investment a parent can make for their children and for our future!

We had moved recently to Detroit and were living in Troy, so were looking for a good daycare for our both 3 1/2 and 18 months kids. The center director Ms. Maria is very warm but the staff over there in the front desk had some issues with their job, may be they were not happy or paid well or for the reasons best known to them were horrible! As a parent we were unhappy with the negative environment of the school and pulled back our kids immediately and sending them to another near by daycare. I would definitely not recommend this daycare to any of my colleagues.

I loved the dental hygienist who did my cleaning. Not so impressed with the facility. I was quoted ~$280 as my price for a cleaning and x-rays and by the time I was done, I shelled out almost $500. Dr. Kennedy added on a laser treatment without explaining that it would cost me an extra $130. For someone without dental insurance, this is outrageous. My husband had the same laser treatment at another dentist's office and they didn't charge extra to him. I will not be going back there simply because I felt duped.

HORRIBLE!!! I was shocked at the unprofessionalism when I spoke with the director back and forth via email and phone and wrote them a deposit check to secure my newborns spot and then when I called to tell them when we would be officially starting, etc. I was informed that there was no spot for her. I never received a call about this and I was returning to work in 3 weeks. Just note: The deposit check there means absolutely nothing and does not guarantee a spot for your child. So unreliable its unbelievable. Don't get screwed over like I did!

I am writing my review in response to Mary Tamargo's statements. I know of Mary through Kindercare..our children were in the same class. I have witnessed a couple of the situations she is referencing and they did not occur the way she states. I have found Penfield Kindercare to be an amazing environment for my child. His teacher is a great teacher and obviously loves all the children in her class. In fact, he moved to Preschool 4 months ago and he still runs to her room first thing in the morning to give her a hug. She is loving towards all of the children in her class and I have never seen her put her daughter before her class. In fact, her daughter has never been in her class....except for very early in the morning when the school first opens. When her daughter's teacher arrives soon after...she goes to her own classroom. I know this because I have dropped off my son to her classroom numerous times when this is going on. She claims that the teachers at Penfield Kindercare do not want to be "bothered with potty training"...that is definitely NOT the case. They work diligently with the parents to ensure that each child is progressing on his/her own "schedule". Due to my son having been in the same class...I am aware of some of the things his teacher did to help Mary's son in the potty training process...through my observations when in the room. Her child had his own potty in the class baathroom...I know this because I have witnessed Mary in the bathroom when her son...while she attempts to get him to go potty. My son wanted to go potty at drop-off one morning and was unable too because she was in there with her son. The child was crying...he was trying to get up off the potty...and she was telling him he had to sit down. He was clearly not interested in potty training at that moment. With my experience potty training my child and my other 2 children..."forcing" a child to potty train only hinders their progress. I understand that if this is her first child...that she might not be aware of that fact. His teacher did send home to all the chidren's parents..potty training tips to help us in the process. I am also aware that her son was having numerous accidents within the classroom. My son was very vocal about this child having peed on the carpet and on the floor. I even observed first hand...his teacher encouraging this child to go to the potty...and he sat down on the floor to pee. Again, normal during the potty training process but also signs that he was not yet ready to begin potty training. He had just turned 2 years old and not all 2 year olds are ready for potty training. I spoke with the Director about my concerns about the sanitary aspect of the situation. She was very understanding and assured me she was working with the family to ensure all children's needs...including Mary's son...were being met. I understand that children who are potty training will have accidents, however, when a child is showing signs he is not ready for potty training...that creates a sanitation issue for the other children. Also, my son's own potty training was hindered...after he witnessed this boy being made to sit on the potty by his Mother. I asked him once why he wouldn't sit on the potty...his response was..."Timmy(not the child's real name) doesn't like the potty. He screams and cries.". Despite, all of this...the Lead Teacher was extremely understanding...patient...encouraging...and loving. She truly cares about all of the children in her class and wants all of them to succeed. It was stated in the review that children at Penfield Kindercare go to the bathroom unattended...that is not the case. My son is always accompanied when he does go to the potty to ensure his safety and to help assist him in the training process. The above review upsets my greatly because it is 100% not true that his teacher did not care for the children in her class...or want to to assist in potty training. My son has been at the school for over a year and it is because of her that he loves learning!!

This Daycare is a joke. The images you see on this page are paid images. These are not images from the actual daycare. Don't be fooled. It has got to be one of the most poorly managed centers I have seen. My son attended here for 5 months...and I regret leaving him there as long as I did. It's very clear that this center has cash flow and staffing issues. The center is poorly staffed and managed. Director is constantly rotating staff in and out of the rooms causing confusion to the children and parents because of the inconsistencies. All of the teachers have their kids enrolled in center and since there are staffing issues and classes are combined, staff rotated daily, moms and kids end up in the same classes together on a daily basis. Leaving the rest of the children poorly unattended. Teachers/Director do not want to deal with potty training. The potty training policy at this center is a joke, it's a let's find an excuse to put your kid in a diaper policy. I picked up my son several times to find him in diapers even though I specifically requested staff not to. I found my child playing outdoors and the teacher did not take him to the potty and he was wet and in urinated clothes for at least 30 min. The reason I know this is because his clothes had already started drying, but his shoes were still covered in urine. Guess where his lead teacher was...playing with her daughter!!! When I talked to the Director about leaving the center, all of sudden she said they were dis-enrolling him because of all the issues. Yeah your staff can't handle kids potty training and I threatened her I would file a compliant with OCFS. She talked and acted like it was my son's fault that he couldn't use the potty independently at 2 years old. That's why it's called potty TRAINING! What's amazing is his new center has not had any issues with his potty training and they don't send him to the potty by himself. He is always accompanied by an adult. That's not the case at Penfield Kindercare. There's so much more. But I don't have the time to write a book about all the problems this center has.

They treated my daughter like she is their own child, helped me with her in many different ways. I had put my daughter in 2 different daycares before this one and wish that i had enrolled her in this one when she was 6 weeks old. she went there for 3 1/2 yrs and we have moved away since and i wish there was one in the town that we are in now but she still goes back occasionally and visits. she still talks bout all her teachers here and how she loves everyone and all her friends there. I have always reccommended this location to alot of people and will always continue to recommend them. they make sure that if there is a problem with your child or if something happened or wrong they dont hesitate to call you and let you know what is going on!!!! she learned how to read and write with the help of her teachers and the phonics program that they off there.

I was a teacher there in the infant room. Infants were fed on the floor on boppies with bottles propped in their mouths. Bottles, including bottles of breast milk , medications , etc. we're not labeled with infant names which is against state regulations. Infant room was filthy, including black mold growing in window seals . I heard teachers yelling at toddlers and pre-schoolers, shaming them for behaviors normal to their age groups . My credentials include 20+ years as a neonatal registered nurse specializing in neonatal intensive care, special care nursery, newborn nursery, mother/baby, high-risk OB and pediatrics. I retired in good standing from Vanderbilt University Medical as a high-risk OB in 2011. Currently I am employed as a nanny for three special needs toddlers. I would highly recommend parents avoid this place at all costs. I worked at two excellent day cares after retiring and this place doesn't even come. I left both of those day cares in good standing and am eligible a for rehire at both of those day cares, I.e. active Learning Center in Bellevue and Central Pikedaycare in Hermitage.

Do not send your kid here. I set up an appointment for a tour--at a time that they requested--and took off work to meet them. I sat for 30 minutes without being helped, other than random staff members that asked if I had been helped and then said that they would get someone to help me. Eventually, I was told that there was nobody there to meet with me. If they cannot keep an appointment--that was made only three hours beforehand--then how can they keep your kids safe? Also, it's dirty. My suggestion would be to find somewhere else. That's what I am doing.

I enrolled my then 10-month old son back in October 2011, and enrolled my then 2-month old soon in February 2013. They both still attend Kindercare Acushnet. Their teachers have been amazing. They communicate with me on any health issues the kids have, and are receptive to my special requests as a parent. Under Ms. Lisa Steed's leadership, the daycare was well-run and it seemed teachers were given what they needed to do their jobs well. The teacher turnover rate is very low also, which indicates that they are happy with the way things are run at the daycare. Another Google review mentioned that their son says the teachers are mean. That may be the individual teacher their son has - I have not seen any signs of 'mean-ness' from my sons' teachers (Infant A, Infant B, Toddlers, and Twos Rooms). Firm yes - mean, no. They have several children they need to look after (their teacher-student ratio does meet state standards), and at times need to be firm when moving from task to task. Also, it may be that the particular family coddles their children at home, and anything less than that may be thought of as 'mean.' Could it be also that a child may be lying about where he/she gets the scratches from? Or perhaps the child was about to fall and the teacher grabbed for him in an attempt to keep him from getting cut up by the concrete? One positive thing about this daycare is that the tiniest little mark on the child, either by accident or from another child, is documented on an accident report that the parent has to sign at the end of the day. Our eldest son was in another daycare and we would pick him up with scratches, but no accident report to review/sign. We are a military family, and the only reason why we no longer have our children here is because we received orders to another state. Overall this daycare is family-friendly, military-friendly (10% discount!), and a great place where little toddlers my son's age learn. I highly recommend it.

Do not take your child here. My son is high functioning Autistic and I was assured that he would be welcomed and that they would give him a chance to adjust. I was told that they had experience with special needs children. I spoke to the director and teachers at length about my son and his disorder and they nodded their heads and smiled, telling me that it would not be a problem. I paid for two weeks and they called halfway through the second day to come and get my boy, they were not going to be able to handle him. I got there as soon as I could and he was lying by himself on a stack of cots under the coat rack, his belongings all over the floor, his face red and puffy from crying. As soon as he saw me, he buried his face in my neck and would not let go. Looking around the place, I could see why he wasnt doing well - it is total chaos. I cannot imagine any young child doing well there. It is dirty, disorganized and loud. There are not enough teachers to care for such a big group. The ratio might be legal, but if you put all the kids in one room together like that, you are asking for trouble. Right before I left, a teacher (the director did not have the nerve to tell me herself, I guess) told me that I WOULD NOT BE GETTING MY MONEY BACK FOR 4 to 6 WEEKS! I paid for two weeks, got a day and a half of care, and had to scramble for new child care AND the money to pay for it! What a mess. DO NOT GET MIXED UP WITH THIS CENTER. THERE IS QUALITY CHILDCARE IN CORPUS CHRISTI, BUT THIS PLACE IS TROUBLE.

Honestly, this daycare was great until the director Amber left. The classroom teachers I like especially Ms. Janeen. She made the effort to make a relationship with my daughter. I have had my daughter at two different daycares prior to Oakmont KinderCare and I do not recommend them. The only issue I do have is with the new director, Bridget. She seemed easy going and made me feel at first as if she cared about some of the issues I had with my account, and while my daughter was sick. But then asked me a question that was unnecessary. I am not the only one who has an issue with her and her rude attitude, but I only speak for myself. The daycare ran better even when it was only Mark, and both of the Stephanie's.

My 8 month daughter was dropped off at 9am, with 2 full bottles of formula and was only fed once at 930am. I picked her up at 430pm and they handed me back the second bottle untouched. I called the director investigating and she said that the teachers were afraid she will run out of milk so they were holding off on her next feeding. Like WTF!!! My daughter went 7hours without any feeding. Absolute neglect. No one called me to ask me when I would pick her up and that she only has 1 bottle left, if they were so concerned. Do not bring your child to this place. in the mornings, they have the preschoolers in the infant room and they are not wearing any boot covers. they have their shoes on and the little babies are crawling all over the room while the big kids are running around.

If I could give it zero stars I would! My 2 year old and 7 month old have only been at this facility for exactly 2 months and there have been THREE incident reports. The director Pauline has no COMPASSION, she is only there to get a paycheck, has no interest in what is best for the kids. She told me that my daughter was 2 and that it is NORMAL! No, it is not normal for my daughter to end up with a scar on her face!!!! Then the last time I picked her up I saw a big long scratch on her chest and there not even be an incident report made until I POINTED IT OUT! When I told her I was going to withdraw them all Pauline said was 'go ahead', she could care less! My 7 month old and is mixed with older kids that can walk around, and has been knocked over and hit in the head too many times that I have seen myself and people walk in there without any booties! DO NOT BRING YOUR KIDS HERE IF YOU WANT QUALITY CARE!!!!!!!

I am very happy with this childcare. My son is in the one year old room. There are three sweet caregivers who have been very good at helping him with his first experiences away from mom. They have done above and beyond what I would expect them to to make him feel comfortable and loved. We have loved everyone we have met. There curriculum is simple and personalized for each baby. I have been working here for about three weeks and already have so many problems with this place. For one, to work at any daycare, you must be CPR and First Aid certifide. The lady they turn you to gives you a ten minute overview of CPR and First Aid, tells you to read the rest of the packet at home, checks off each individual box with the caption "Has successfully completed three hours of training," hands you your CPR license, and send you on your way. Parents, the directors of this particular KinderCare are aware of this! Unless an employee makes a personal decision to take a full training class of CPR and First Aid, this is how every employee is trained! And what happens if there is a real emergancy? The lady who is responsible for this ridiculous "training" is soon to be reported. Another thing I have a problem with is that they do not allow you to hold the children for a long period of time. Because children can get attached easily, especially in an uncomfortable environment, they try to steer away from this. Too often have I seen a two-year-old cry for hours because he or she is missing mommy or daddy. The caretaker is merely allowed to give the short comfort of a hug or a pat on the arm, but is not allowed to spend one-on-one time with the child. When a child is this young, one of the most important parts of their proper developement is to be allowed to attach themselves to an adult figure! Of course they are attached to mommy and daddy, but when they spend eight to twelve hours a day with a stranger, they especially need at least one or two people there to show them love! The children do not get the attention or care they really need. Other than these things that effect the clients, the directors are very unprofessional with the employees, as well. There are more things than what I have mentioned, but these were the two that bugged me the most. Do your children a favor and place them in a better preschool.

Son started attending January 2016, and I know I've gotten a call every week about something that should've been able to be handled by the daycare staff. It's an irritation and shows incompetence. The curriculum and atmosphere seemed to be a fit to prepare him for kindergarten. The constant phone calls are more of nuisance than a concern.

In a nutshell, we are the parents of Yashvi (now in 3's) and we are very satisfied sending our daughter to Vernon hills Kinder care because a) Director Sarah ROCKS. She is polite, courteous, follows up on any requests we have and updates us in a timely manner. I think her leadership is applaudable. b) Miss Alyssa (Asst. Director) and other Kindercare staffs make our experience with kindercare very pleasant. c) Miss Roxy and Miss Simona are both AWESOME. They take good care of the kids, give me DETAILED updates everyday patiently and most of all they seem to enjoy the work which clearly reflects in their face. d) They take pictures and preserve the craft work and share it later with me which gives us immense pleasure and happiness. Miss Simona gave a yearbook kind of folder which had all the work which Yashvi did when she was in 2's. Wow... now that I see it as commitment to work. e) My girl loves the music classes and I am glad and appreciate the gesture of Miss Debra where she voluntarily took in my kid for a 'test music' class if she was interested and yey... she was. Kindercare has gone 'Above and Beyond' to make my child's and our day to day life easier and enjoyable during her 2's stay and we look forward for the same in the 3's. Thanks all of you once again.

My daughter Rithika used to attend this program, when we were in Chicago, Now we moved out of the state. But my daughter still remembers & misses all her firends & especially her Miss. Ashley.. She is very dedicated & sincere teacher as far as i know. All the daily programs are very good and motivates to kid to attend the class. After joining the preschool program ( 5 half days a week), my daughter learnt lot of new things & writing her Full name. Staff is very friendly and answers your queries promptly.

Poorly maintained building, terrible management ,and a inconsistent environment, stemming from the high turnover rate of daycare teachers there makes this daycare a terrible choice. The center is unorganized, dishonest about menus(saying they give whole grain bread , when it's really just white). The menu they show you is not what they serve your kids. Because of the high turnover rate the center is consistently out of ratio. Teachers are not accountable, or aware. If your child suffers an injury you will not receive an accident report. Current director is literally the worst person for the job. Please avoid for your child's sake. There are much better centers within a mile of this location, so do you and your child a favor and skip this daycare.

I have just recently enrolled my infant in Childrens World and I love the people they take such good care of her , it is a privite infants dept. just for them, no one around has anything like this so that is why I chose this center, and Kay the director is so nice and makes you feel right at home,I can go to work with piece of mind knowing my little one is taking care of during the day.

I have 2 kids at this center, 3.5 and almost 2 years old, and we absolutely love it here. All of the teachers have years of experience with children, some even decades at this very center. Everyone is so nice and truly care about the kids and families. My kids have learned so much and honestly learn something every day. Sometimes I am shocked at the things they say and know. I highly recommend this KinderCare.

We moved from out of state and had to pick a daycare sight unseen. The people who manage, operate and teach here are absolutely wonderful. Everyone was very helpful and understanding as we made the transition. The "new" teacher has about 11 years on the job and most of the teachers have spent around 20+ years at KinderCare. My wife and I have been very pleased and are child seems to be very happy here. I would highly recommend this daycare/learning center to anyone.

My grandson is very sensitive to people who are not so caring and therefore it is hard to find him a daycare that he is comfortable with. This daycare is super caring, attentive and always trying to grow and please u in every way! I have made a complaint and it was handled swiftly and thoroughly. They made sure that the teacher and I were comfortable during the process so there was no problem with our daily interaction or hers with our baby. I was so impressed with their professionalism and straight forward ways that I moved 30 mins away and still drive that far to take him to that school!

My daughter began attending this Kindercare when she was 4 months old and I kept her there until just before she turned two. I had many misgivings surrounding this daycare center, but I chalked it up to "mommy guilt". During her time there, she was in 5 different classrooms, with a total of 10 different "main" teachers. Other staff were frequently cycled through and there wasn't a whole lot of consistency. Of these 10 teachers, I would say 3 were what I would consider stellar, 2 were mediocre, and the rest were not so great. During her time in the infant room(s), I saw babies left to cry without comforting, and I once witnessed one particular teacher rip a book out of a child's hand and yelled "we don't chew on books!". It made the girl cry, of course. That kind of punitive mindset is prevalent at this school. In classrooms my daughter was NOT in, I saw a great deal of ineffective 'teaching' and power struggles(doors to the rooms were open). Teachers were ill equipped to deal with children that were more challenging. I once was driving by on my way to pick up my daughter and saw a teacher who was outside with her toddler class yell something (I couldn't hear what), and then drag the child by its arm. I witnessed this harsh treatment in my daughters toddler classroom as well. In the older toddler classrooms, there is a mandatory nap from 11:30-2:30. During this time, children are not allowed off of their mats. My daughter is potty training. Several times, when I came to pick her up they told me "she just didn't make it to the potty in time when she got up from her nap". I came early one day (1:30) to pick her up and when I walked through the front doors, one of the teachers in front told me "she's awake". I could see through the door that she was, I could also see her lips moving. When I opened the door I heard her whispering "poop, poop". As soon as she saw me, she sat up and threw her blanket off. She had pooped herself and was forced to lay in it for who knows how long. My child HATES to be dirty and started pooping in the potty before we even "officially" started potty training. She's also very regular and generally has a bowel movement at Noon...so potentially she was forced to lay in her excrement for 1.5 hours. Totally unacceptable. Once she started in this class, she came home and she would 'shush' me when I would talk to her, as well as tell me "wet undies naughty". This is NOT language or behavior I use with her at all. I kept her in this center for as long as I did, because I thought she was learning a lot. It turns out she really wasn't. The environment is loud, chaotic, and stifling. My daughter has been in a new school for a few weeks, and I couldn't be happier. I would really think twice before enrolling your child here. For what it costs, I think you could easily find a better place for your child with the same cost factor. I did.

Deciding which daycare to take your child is always a tough decision to make. During many tours, KinderCare was the only center that payed attention to my daughter, they talked to her and asked her to join in activities. I choose KinderCare because the teachers seemed friendly and knowledgeable. So far, my daughter loves going to school here (she is a toddler). :) I get plenty of information about what she did during the day and I get pictures of what she did once in awhile. The director is very kind and remembers not only your name but also your child's name. I wish Kindercare had an app for the daily notes/pictures, that would make it even better! Like I said earlier, I had a hard time picking a daycare, but I am very happy with my decision. :)

My child was previously attending a habitat for learning on beltway south, and it was just horrible. I took him out and placed him in kindercare, and WE absolutely love it. My son comes home happy, and some days, is even upset that he has to leave. The teachers are patient, and CARING. The director is definitely a hands on type of gal, and I couldn't be more pleased with the care my son receives from Kindercare. I would definitely suggest this daycare to friends. :)

This day care has excellent staff who not only love their jobs, but also love the children. Unfortunately, they recently hired a provider who is well below standards. I ended up w/d my child because I didn't want her to interact with my daughter. This particular teacher is snobby toward the children. Yelling at 3 yr olds across the room to "stop crying" is unacceptable! Besides the one teacher, the daycare was wonderful. Unfortunately, one teacher made all the difference.

Our son attended this daycare for one year (from about age 10-months to about 21-months) while we lived in Chapel Hill. Everyone here was very good with him and highly involved. My husband and I were encouraged to telephone and/or visit at any time to receive updates on him. His teachers were so aware that they could give us updates on his physical and emotional condition at any given moment. The infant room and toddler room teachers are excellent (most likely the other teachers are as well, but since our son was only in those rooms, I can only speak to their performance). The Center Director is very good at managing the center. Even though she has multiple tasks such as taking care of the employees' and childrens' needs, she is always available to speak with the parents. The current Program Specialist is so knowledgeable about childcare that she can give you advice on how to deal with tantrums, thumbsucking, etc. One of our son's teachers even made him a beautiful scrapbook as a going away gift. She put alot of time and energy into it and we are going to keep it for him forever. The lead teacher in his room arranged to have a party for him as well. They made decorations and had cupcakes and showered him with attention (they always did anyway, but he got more TLC that day). They cried when he left. These folks not only take care of your child's basic needs, they LOVE your child. This is what you want when you know that you have to leave your child with someone else while you work, right?

There is ZERO stars from this mommy but thats not an option. Just saw on the news about a child having arm broken by an employee... i wish i couldve reported my sons diaper not being changed for almost 5 hours... had to take him to the doctors for medication bc the poop had harden and even after a bath it wouldnt come off. I feel so sorry for that child and parents but i am happy that somethings finally being done, at least of this location. The on duty manager was responsible for changing diapers and even tried to argue and blame me!!! I did however yell loud enough i got my money back... and my sone was only there for four total days! They need better screening at Kindercare, as i caalled corporate for weeks and not one single person returned my calls or emails. Shame. Take your babies out of there!!! Please.

A Little over a year ago, we took on the role (by surprise and out of necessity) of foster parents to our FOUR nieces and nephews! It was a major life changing event, especially this late stage in our life, that was not anticipated nor were we prepared. We have not had kids at this young age in our life for almost 15 years. Immediately, we began searching for a reputable child care facility. We heard positive things about KinderCare and decided to try it for ourselves. It was the right decision! KinderCare has helped us in so many ways. It has been a TREMENDOUS factor in the development of the kids. The environment is friendly and safe. The children enjoy the company of the staff. They facilitate class work that prepared the children for elementary, to include other skills such as social, fine motor, and speech skills. KinderCare is always flexible in helping us with our specific needs. Mr. Tom, Ms. Kim, and Ms. Jessica are awesome! They give us words of advice on age appropriate development to academic issues and even how to address behavior issues appropriately. They genuinely love and care for our children and the children who come into their care. We don't know where we would be without their help. We cannot imagine how our lives would be if it was not for their help and guidance in our daily life. Either my husband or I regularly say to each other and to people we know, “I cannot do this without their help.” We have noticed such a difference in the children since coming to KinderCare. We truly appreciate the KinderCare and its staff.

We had our daughter at a different "preschool" in the area, and we had doubts that soon became worries. When I got a job in Durham and found out about Kindercare through a friend, I was quick to make the change and try it out. Kindercare was only slightly more to pay but the quality of care was MUCH higher. I can tell that the children get much more attention from the teachers and staff. My daughter has barely been sick at all in the 5 months she has been at Kindercare - she was rarely not sick while attending the previous school. This isn't coincidence. The children are encouraged to respect each other, and the staff are kind but firm with rules. They teach, but very high-achieving children might not get much of a push here. I feel that they do help my daughter to retain what I have taught her on my own. I doubt you could find a better preschool for the price, especially in this area.

from my experience I would say that nothing on the website was true. Their teachers are totally untrained and unprofessional. The director was not cooperative and often nasty like if she were paying us for the service. The place is not as clean as I had anticipated and above all the price was unjustifiably high. Read the agreement carefully, and make sure you understand all financial penalties as they will never read it with you.

Our daughter is a completely different kid since starting here a short time ago. They have a great curriculum, the boundaries, rules and structure that kids need, and consequences for poor behavior. They have centers for activity so the rooms aren't in chaos, and they use a star chart to help promote behavior. Out of the last 8 days, our daughter has had one bad day, and we had months of bad days at the previous center. Her entire attitude seems to have changed to a more positive kid. Our son just LOVES his class, and tells us daily how much fun he has and loves his teacher. The director, Amber, and her assistant, Kati, are always visible and available for any questions. The teachers are more than happy to meet and talk with you. They truly are your partner in your child's development. I have to say, if you have any one looking for a daycare, we highly recommend KinderCare at 116th and Allisonville. They are a level 4, and it shows. They have a Junior Kindergarten that our daughter will start in August and it is geared toward really preparing her for Kindergarten at HSE in August 2016. HSE has a great partner in this day care in preparing kids to start their Kindergarten year. It is truly like a little school instead of just a day care. We were really nervous to change day care centers for our kiddos, but we are SO glad that we did. We have no doubt they are getting what they need at KinderCare.

The staff here is very friendly and kind. They were more than willing to work with me on my food preferences, not requiring a doctor note to provide a non dairy milk and accepting that as a preference for my family instead of a dietary issue. I've also known other families who've been able to bring in vegetarian options without push back from the facility and other families who have used cloth diapers there without any issues. Finding a daycare willing to work with you on your personal choices like this is super rare and I really appreciate the effort put in by the staff here. My child is learning a lot and seems very happy to go to school here. The facility is very clean and inviting. I honestly can't say enough good things about this KinderCare.

Amazing school, with amazing staff. The director is one of the most kindest, caring, and understanding people I have ever met at any preschool. She actual listens and makes changes to accomodate it for your child if in fact it will benefit your childs needs. She is extremely honest and flexible. Very approachable. We miss you Ms. Melissa! Serena is her assistant and I can't say enough about her. She is always informing you and calling. There is not more then a week that goes by when you have not heard from her whether little or small. This school is I have to say #1 in their communication to staff and parents. If new people are coming or someone is ill with something contagious they pin up flyers immediately, and also make sure they verbally inform you at some point that very same day. The Phonics teacher Ms. Echo is the best and you will see major positive changes as your child continues in that program. Most all of the thier teachers stay there and have stayed there almost a decade if not longer because of what a great foundation and staff it presents. My child started there in their infant room, which is one of the hardest times for any parent, but the care takers and teachers are so caring and really give each child the attention they need individually. I have to say in this area after seeing so many schools that are similiar with long days and lunch/snack provided-this is the best school from a comparative view. The security sort needs a little revamping cause there is not a staff member in front when it is opened. But not sure if that has changed in the last year. I believe the staff tries to be in the front when people are coming in but many times there is no one who works there to greet you or check when i was going into the school. The play area for the 2's really needs some updating, but the kids at that age like playing in the dirt. They have a large play area for the 3's and older kids. They are not stingy with food and allow the kids to drink and eat as much as they want which I find in many schools this is not the case. They really get to know your child and care for them as if the child is their own. I would highly recommend spending at least a week observing to make the best decision for your child as to where to place them because recommendations via internet and from others can vary and its really hard to asses unless you go and see for yourself and get a feeling of how your child will adapt in any school environment. Hope your child has an excellent experience where ever they end of going but this school does not get enough credit for the amazing job they all do.

My first impression of the school was "wow". It looks great, clean, and welcoming. But after a couple of months I reasized that the school is more interested in collecting fees rather than giving the children a good education. If you can afford to pay their fees, take that money and go to some other school. Kids mostly eat sleep and play. For a 1000 dollars a month I expected them to atleast teach my child atleast the alphabet. They charge you an extra 100 bucks for that!!! yes to teach the alphabet its an additional 100 dollars.

If your child isn't perfectly behaved, they cannot handle them and will tell you to come get them. Even worse, your child's behavior gets worse thanks to their inability/lack of training to teach children. The local schools have no problem getting my child to behave in the classroom. So, there is no question in my mind that Kindercare does not train their staff adequately to handle children to encourage good behavior and a positive environment.

So disappointed in the service provided. I had much better service with an in home daycare. The facility sent my child home early for a diaper rash that they created, told me I had to take him to Urgent Care for a diagnosis before he was able to return. When it came about it was a diaper rash - the directors response was "he was in a class room where no changing table was available." I've walked in on teachers yelling at my child. I DO NOT recommend this place of business. Horrible service. They do not even deserve one star.

Some good teachers but horrible director. A family member attended KinderCare and it was obvious that the bottom line was the director's only concern. She was too busy making sure that she didn't have too many stuff members per number of students to be concerned about the children's welfare. There were times when my relative was not fed and other times when my relative's diaper was not changed due to staffing constantly being moved around and lack of training. Some of the staff members are good and caring but when a good teacher would raise a concern or make a suggestion she would be threatened with termination. The parking lot was a nightmare and someone is going to get hurt. People come and go in both directions and the director refuses to do anything about it. Add to that the teen mothers from the home for juvenile delinquents and it is no wonder that personal belongings get stolen. Attempts to contact the regional manager were unsuccessful because as long as the center is making a profit - corporate doesn't care about the quality of care. AVOID at ALL COST

My son started attending Kindercare this Summer. He has a speech delay and has not been around other children on a daily basis. Since he has been going, he has been more attentive, is eating better and is getting better to understand. Thanks so much to the staff at Erie, PA Kindercare!

HITTING my son. One of their teachers decided to leeave with no notice and they are very slow in hiring a new person. About a week after that my son was acting differently towards the whole place in general. He was acting out at the school only. I had mentioned something to the director several times since this was not normal behavior. She said all of the kids were adjusting since the other teacher was gone. He adjusts fine with that. I knew something else had to be going on. On a friday, something had set my son off and he was acting very badly. A teacher called me to inform me of this and he was in the office. I tried to talk to him but he would not talk to be which was odd. I immediatly pulled him out of the school since they could not find out what was going on. Terrible. A week later he finally told me Mr. Lucas was hitting and spanking him. Thats why he didnt like it anymore. I tried to ask him more but you could see he was very uncomfortable so I didnt push on the matter. I wish he would tell me more. It was different seeing a male teacher in a daycare so I gave it a chance. I will never take him to another school with a male teacher now because of this. He will not give me more information so I doubt the director will fire the teacher! The school was just mediocre up until this happened. I am never taking him to any Kinder Care again! Please protect your child and do not take them there if that teacher is still there.

This school seems great at first, as the teachers know what to say about their curriculum, toys, and routines, but they are not. After my daughter attended this school for just one month, her behavior changed for the worst. She started bullying other children outside of school. Often, I saw that they did not follow some of the rules I outlined for her specifically. Furthermore, I overhead the staff having inappropriate conversations around the children. In my opinion, some of the staff was unprofessional and a little harsh with the kids. I have a Bachelor's degree in Education.

I have had my 3 kids there for a little over a year. My son spent most of the year in the one year old class and has just transfered to the two year old class. Both classrooms have had excellent teach contintuity, plus fantastic teachers. One daughter was in the 3 year old room. Once again, she had the same teacher for the whole year. Mr. Keith was great and loved by all the kids. He was recently promoted to assistant direction and transfered to another Kindercare center. We are sorry to see him leave the Cross Canyon location. My daughter did Kindercare's private kindergarten program last year. She was one of 10 kids doing real school from 8am-2pm everyday. Her teacher was great and she learned to much. She will be way ahead of her peers when she enter elementary school this fall. I have hand noting but good experience with the other care givers and staff at the facility. Lastly, Ms Julie is a great cook, my kids never want to eat dinner at home now.

I recently had the pleasure of taking a tour with both the District Manager, and the Director. There are exciting and refreshing developments unfolding at this location! Among one of the best attributes is that the base tuition costs are affordable, which makes it easier to individualize/enhance each child's experience by enrolling in an additional Learning Adventures class. Naturally, I was happy to see that there is a Learning Adventures Music class offered... ;) While some reviews naturally stir up some skepticism, I would just recommend to simply take a tour and trust your own gut feeling. The new director is sweet, dedicated, and extremely open to our feedback!

I love this daycare. My child has been here almost a year and I couldn't be any happier. The teachers are wonderful. You can tell they deeply care about the babies. The "Infants-1" room is such a peaceful place. Everything is very organized. All cribs, bottles, diapers and wipes are labeled for each child. The teachers give me a "report card" every afternoon listing all the meals, diaper changes and what my child did that day. All the teachers seem to support each other. Parents can come and go as often as they like. I work close by so I can stop in and take my baby out to lunch every day and sit in the park. Or I can simply stay and play, or feed him. I would recommend this daycare to anyone. Also, since they are national, I could take my child to a different location if let's say I go on vacation and wouldn't mind a play day with my husband. You just need to call and make sure they have the room for a "drop-off". I read a bad review from a few years back regarding this location and I can't imagine it. But I do feel bad that they must have had a bad experience that day. These teachers care so much. I feel completely comfortable leaving my baby in their care.

We have had our son there for the past two years and we've been very happy with KinderCare. The teacher turnover is very low and everyone has been wonderful - warm, professional, and well-trained. It's very "corporate", which we really like because we know there is a corporate structure overseeing everything. Our son loves his teachers and enjoys going there. I've never worried about his safety and the staff has been great about keeping us informed about any potential issues. When he gets home at night, he is spotlessly clean and we have never had any sort of issues with diaper rash. The classrooms are clean and the toys are in good condition. My advise is if you're considering it, definitely talk to the other parents who send their children there. That's what we did and we've had no regrets about our decision.

We have been at this location full time for over two years. Every single teacher my son has had has been been awesome. This is the only thing that keeps us here. The district really has a hard time finding management that they approve of and that actually do their job professionally. The first director that I encountered was wonderful but then was suspiciously fired weeks before she gave birth. Hmmmm...... The last two directors have been really unprofessional and run a chaotic office. I am not really picky so this is saying a lot. I give these people over 15,000 dollars/year. There is constant mix ups in paperwork, the parents are all treated like they are cattle that are annoying her when they have any issues. The current director is never apologetic, even when it is blatantly her fault, and talks to the parents like they are five. Every single paper that comes from that office has blatant typos and mistakes, every single one, even though they claim they proof read. For this kind of money, I hope for better service. Again, we are in love with our teachers so that is why we put up with it. But if you are shopping around, you may want to consider these issues. I wish I could give the teachers five plus stars and the management one.

I have two small children and recently moved to the area. I was reluctant to place them in pre-school/child care as they had never been in that type of environment. We've now been with Kindercare for three months and couldn't love it more. They've become an extension of our family. The teachers are warm and caring and do a great job of creating a learning enviornment. The center director and assistant directors are amazing and do so much to create a sense of community among the families whose children attend the school. There is such a positive vibe when you walk in the front door.

Our son is 3 years old and has been going to this Kindercare for the past 2 1/2 years, and we love it. He's had a few different daycare teachers during this time, and all of them really seem to enjoy playing with them. The facility is always clean and seems to have improved a bit under the new director who started a year or so ago. I would recommend it to anyone, especially considering that they're cheaper than most daycares in the area, yet still maintain a high quality of care that we were hoping for when we put him there 2 1/2 years ago.

The director Nancy is complete white trash whack job, this woman lets children leave with complete strangers and allows the facility to have more students than allowed per teacher. Nancy left bruises on my son and spanked him on the bare rear end, I called the corporate office and spoke to a woman name Mary and nothing was done. Former parents have stepped forward with the same concern and this woman is still the director. Your children are in danger and the woman running this flop house is not sane or qualified, just because it is summerlin it don't mean squat. The kids day is filled with fun activities and they learn something new everyday. The food is healthy and my daugther loves it. When I get there they have a daily sheet that tells me what my daughther ate and how much it also let's me know how she did with her nap and going to the potty. They also let me know what activities were done. The teacher has a very kid friendly attitude and encourages the kids to get involved. I always enjoy the pictures they give me of my daughther doing activities. A great fun place to learn and grow.

We were afraid in the beginning to send our 14 months baby to the day care because he had a hard time staying with the baby sitters. No baby sitters wanted to watch him because he is wild and too hard to control him. The staff here never complained about he is being wild and hard but made him like the place. fist few days were harder for him and the staff but now he loves this place and all his teachers. They made lots of changes in him over a period of two weeks. Now he talk to other kids in his group, mingle with the other people than just my family. A lot to talk about. My wife and my work schedule changes every month. This centre director and schedule is very flexible. So far we never had any issues with any staff or with my son's behavior. Some times will be late to pick him, or drop him early or later than his schedule; its never been a issue at all. In other day care centers they are very strict about the picking and drop off timings; even a minute late would end up with penalty. Now my son don't cry when we drop him off, comfortable staying there and happy to come home when he is done.

I will never be back to this place again. I think it would be better for younger children the after school program is highly priced with no benefit. The children just run wild my 9 year old complained of kids peeing outside and teachers just reading and not being interactive with the kids. I had an incident with my son and they lied about the situation to me and I am still very upset over the whole ordeal. Luckily I was able to find a Nanny right away and I wont be paying 200.00 a week for my 9 year old to look after a bunch of 6 year olds. BTW they market after school homework time and other things as apart of the perks of going there... my advise go check it out and pay attention to the surroundings its not that hard to miss!

Please DO NOT take your kids here!! I have had nothing but bad experiences at this daycare and my daughter has been there for 5 months. My daughter has been with this daycare since 11/2015 and there has been nothing but constant issues. I have had my family complain of foul odors when walking in, kids unattended, on top of furniture, teachers not knowing what is going on, my child comes home hurt and there is no explanation as to how it happened, who did it, and never did I receive an incident report. The first occurrence was I came to pick her up and she had a knot on the front of her head as well as the back, her actual teacher was not in attendance due to it being her birthday, but the “filler” teacher blamed it on the previous teacher. When I brought it up to the “acting director” since the actual director was out on medical leave, they knew nothing, never was notified of anything, and still have not received an incident report. 2nd occurrence my daughter came home with a very visible bite mark, I called immediately and there was no explanation and no incidents reported to the director. 3rd occurrence I received a call to tell me my child had been bit on the face, same week, and when I picked her up she had an additional bite on her arm. The director was VERY unprofessional. Advised me that if she was me she would have pulled her child out also. No apologies nothing. And still no incident report. I am in fear for the other kids who are there because the teachers have no idea what is going on. There are two teachers present in the class and neither of them ever know what is going on and the director is just as clueless. There have been so many other occurrences that there is too much to type but I am just so upset with how this was handled and never was I treated well. The director lies to cover up pretty much everything or just blames it on “poor training”. I’ve been told numerous times by Jen that the two year old teachers have not received proper training. In the morning they mix all age groups with way too many kids to just one teacher. My daughter receive therapies and her therapist brought concerns to my attention also about the lack of care the teachers give to the students and just how unsanitary it is. For example, one visit there was a soiled diaper on the changing table for over 15 minutes, and it would have been longer had my daughters therapist not said anything. This daycare needs to be shut down!! If I could give no stars I would!

Absolutely horrible. I just walked out during the interview. They wouldn't give any information online or over the phone unless I set up an appointment for an interview. I showed up and I was basically ignored by this woman who was too busy discussing a break issue with employees. Very unprofessional. Then she says oh hi by the way fill this information form with a fussy toddler in my arms who wants to explore (unlike highland's precious gifts who allowed my child to play with some toys while I filled out the form). Then I asked her if I can fill it out later cause of my toddler and she rolled her eyes at me and asked the questions and fill the form herself. I was so uncomfortable. She asked what type of care I was looking for. I said preschool part time care, wouldn't even tell me just asked well what kind? what kind? Then said they don't have space available. Why would you set up an appointment with a prospect parent if they don't have available spaces? I wouldn't have minded if they weren't so rude to begin with like I was wasting her time. No wonder the reviews are poor.

The people who say this place is unsanitary have obviously never visited any other daycare center. Ashely and her associates do a fine job at keeping the facility clean. This place rocks! My daughter's teachers have been EXTREMELY kind to my daughter and have been very communicative with me. I was a very nervous first time mommy putting her into daycare and Miss Amanda and Miss Chastity were very patient with my "over protective" attitude. They do their very best at doing fun things for these kids and thats more than I can say for some of the daycares ive visited. My daughter is fixing to transition into the toddler b room and I'm very happy to put her there. I plan on having another child and you will be sure that he or she will be going there as well.

Hello Kindercare Staff :D, This is Huntar Hodge, you guys took good care of me, then, new management, you kicked out my friends, took the toys away from us, gave the toys to the toddlers (Legos and toddlers dont mix btw). Then took away our Computer, replaced it with a Wii. Cool Right? Nah, lock on that, and you could only play Wii Sports, they eventually took that away too, Lonely Introvert Huntar, oldest kid in the place, with no friends. Teachers are kind though! So imo, keep your kids their up until schoolage.

I took my baby to Kindercare through her first year, which was very rocky for me as a new mom. They were extremely helpful with any requests I had and loved my baby. I was able to go there anytime and did so, every day at lunch to nurse. I got to see what was happening during a normal day and I saw what you would expect, feedings, diaper changes, naps, entertaining babies as much as babies need to be entertained. I even took her back a couple of times because I needed to drop something off and they were so excited to see my child and how she had grown. It was a good experience.

The staff that cared for my children were wonderful. The issue that I have is with their lack of communication. My children's father and I are not together. He would drop them off in the AM and I picked them up. One day I was handed a note saying that I was not permitted to bring my children back until I brought 2 packs of wipe and a box of diapers to replace their diapers and then more for my children. Apparently they spoke to their father and told them that the kids needed more stuff but never mentioned it to me. Then upon leaving I paid what I thought was my final bill. The last day that my kids were in there I even asked if I needed to complete anything else for them. I was told no. Then I was contacted via email by the administrator asking why the kids were leaving and if they would return. I had lost my job so I informed them that the children would not be returning until I got a new job and that was if they had room. About a week later I was told that I would be charged for the full amount for their last week. That they had tried to get in contact with me but were not able to. So even though the administrator (the same person to charge me) was in contact with me by email multiple times and never mentioned that I had something else to complete for JOBS I was still charged. Later I contacted someone above her and explained the situation, showed her the emails and she said the charges would be removed from the account. Now I am getting collection calls. Lack of communication is a huge problem here!!! Hopefully nobody else has the same issue.

At first the center was very kind and so professional. They assured me everyday that my child was safe and happy. As a first time mother this was very important to me. However after a few months in everything began to change. Certain teachers were less attentive, I could not get rid of a diaper rash that resulted in a fungal infection because they were not applying the cream as they were supposed to and in fact had lost this cream and not informed me. After receiving the 4th call at work during the week regarding no diapers I became distraught. I asked everyday if anything was needed and took supplies in bulk for my daughter. The fact that she was left wet in a diaper so long that the pictures began to imprint on her thigh made me more than upset. I withdrew her immediately because the center director Valerie was not helpful at all and was not even a little concerned as to the reports not being filled and had no say so about the medication not being applied. The exception to this review are Ms.Mimi, Ms.Jennifer Assistant Director, The sweet ladies in the kitchen, and Ms.Rene. And although he was never her teacher Mr.Marcus was very sweet. I would never recommend this center to anyone.

Kinder Care provides the basics: adequate care, meals and play. However, extra stimulation like music classes cost extra. I felt my child was safe and secure, but she cried everyday. Most teachers depend on voice control and I was concerned about my toddler being yelled at or around all day long. I also noticed that the class sizes were at max capacity! The director is very professional! But the environment is less than ideal. Since I have sent my toddler to another preschool, she has not cried one day. She loves the peaceful environment and smaller class size.

St. Joseph KinderCare is highly respected and adored by our entire family. The staff is knowledgeable, respectful, caring, and consistent on all of their processes and procedures. They are up to date with current learning curriculums, well versed and experienced as child care providers. The teachers handle situations at hand in a professional and suitable manner with the children (or staff) as necessary. We never thought we would be so blessed to have such an amazing, committed, and experienced extension of our family to care for our child. We certainly lucked out with this facility and the wonderful people who continue to dedicate their lives to the children they educate on a daily basis. They have their own cook so u know the kids' food isn't coming from a can. Their classrooms are very spacious, along with the outside play area. Their curriculum is a REAL learning one to prepare kids for kindergarden instead of a regular day care like other so called Learning Centers have. The staff is amazing and their teachers all must have a bachelors or masters degree & not some high-school nanny that's trying to make an extra buck. Overall, my daughter is definitely going there, even if its the furthest center from my house. Its definitely not cheap, but u get what u pay for ... and that is an excellent care for ur child!

We have been taking our 14 month old son to Kindercare full-time (5 days/week) since he was 4 months old. We have been so impressed with the infant room teachers and the attention and care he has received from everyone at Kindercare. Choosing a center was a big decision and feeling 100% comfortable with the people that would be caring for my son was #1 on my list. Everyday when I drop my son off, he reaches his arms out to go to the teacher and I feel so comforted inside knowing that he loves it there and we made the right choice for him and our family! He is truly exceeding our expectations in development and is always so happy, which I attribute a lot of that back to the care he receives throughout the day!

My son has been going here for 3 years and I will be very sad when he has to move on. This day care has a feeling of family with a very low turnover ratio in students and in staff. When my son walks out at the end of the day he says good bye to everyone! I love that this has come to be a safe place for him to learn and play. Over the past few years I will drop in at random at varying times throughout the day and I’ve always been impressed. In fact I often catch the teachers actively playing with the kids or reading to them. If they are not actively engaging with the children I ALWAYS find them present in some manner and keeping a watchful eye on the class. Of course no school is perfect but any concern I have had is addressed quickly and in person. I am a very picky momma and I would pick this place again if I moved back the clock a few years.

My children love going to this daycare because the teachers and staff are all engaging and genuinely cares for them. Of all my experience with different daycares may it be small religious or big name ones, I'm completely satisfied with the service KinderCare Lake Mary provides. Everyday, I get complete list of activities my toddler did, what and how much he ate, how long he slept, and hourly diaper status. My 5-year old girl gets picked up after school everyday on time and she's always happy spending her afternoons in daycare.

Hello! I am a mother of two little girls, and so I know that it can be hard to find the right place to care for your children. Sunny Slope Kindercare has been the right fit for my family! The staff at Sunny Slope is truly amazing. My 5 year old (now in Kindergarten) started when she was 2. I will say that this facility helped get her ready for the transition into school. The environment helped her grow socially, academically, and emotionally. She loved taking part in the cooking classes, just one of the many ways this facility goes above and beyond. She is thriving as a Kindergartner! We continue our partnership for drop-in days and school breaks (another great advantage to Sunny Slope). My 18 month old started when she was just a baby. The ladies are so patient, kind, and caring! They truly understand the needs of this young age group. As she grows, they adapt for her needs and her abilities. Their experience and expertise puts my mind at ease every day. At Sunny Slope, I get a good feeling every time I walk through their doors. They are very friendly and truly care about your child! my one year old received balanced meals, participated in age-appropriated "themed" activities and was always happy upon drop off and pick up which, in my opinion, speaks volumes. They have a new director who has made significant improvements and I have noticed a positive change both in staff demeanor and in the center itself.

Staff here is not caring or loving towards the children. I have seen staff scream at children a number of times. I have also seen staff members texting during work hours instead of interacting with the children. Staff needs better supervision and better training.

My child just turned 2 years old. He was previously enrolled at another daycare center. After much thought and consideration we decided to switch to KinderCare 6 weeks ago. My son was constantly sick and being sent home from his previous daycare. Ms Lee-Ann gave us our tour, I was immediately impressed with her kindness and care she showed towards myself, husband and son. She put my mind at ease! After a terrible experience with our previous daycare I was so happy to have found a director like Lee-Ann who shows so much love and appreciation towards her kids and welcomed us. Ms Melissa is his teacher and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about her. Lee-Ann and Melissa made the transition so simple for my son. I was given updates of how his first several days were going and even received pictures of how much fun he was having. The center provides my son with so many hands on activities and he is learning so much with Ms Melissa. Every evening I pick him up Lee-Ann is in her office and greets me asking how my day has been and proceeds to tell how my son's day went. Before we leave my 2 year old son runs up to Lee-Ann and Geoff to give them hugs. My son loves his daycare and I appreciate the ease of transition the staff has provided for nothing only my son, but myself as well. When we ask him if he wants to go to daycare, he responds, "Yes"! After that he begins to say all of his toddler friends names that he spends the day with. Thank you for all the love, care, and nurturing you provide my son! With much gratitude! Hilary A

Our son has transitioned well into this school. LeAnn has done a great job making us feel welcome. Melissa is doing a great job teaching him his abc's and colors. Best decision we made this year was moving him to this daycare.

This places is amazing! The manager (Sarah) is incredible. She makes sure all her employees are in check and that the children's best interests are in place. The staff is awesome! Most have been there for years and are great with kids. My children are excited to go here everyday because they have so much fun. They doors are secure and they make sure that no one has access to children without the proper paperwork. I would highly recommend this daycare to anyone. The phonics and cooking classes they offer are an added bonus too! A+

After a year of searching for childcare for our 3 year old, we found this Kindercare location. Keep in mind that not all Kindercare locations are created equally, but this one is TOP NOTCH! The Director has been amazingly responsive to our needs and every teacher is knowledgeable and courteous. This location is NAEYC certified and they have a wonderful, age appropriate curricula. Our toddler loves to go to "school" each and everyday. She's made some wonderful friends and has had an awesome experience at this location. I highly recommend this Kindercare location to any and all "over protective and picky" parents out there!

So far my daughter loves it here. She is in the infant room and smiles each time I drop her off in the morning for her teachers and always seems content when I pick her up, whether its at 1pm or 5pm. They really take the time to get to know her and have really picked up on what makes her happy and what activities she can do to continue to reach different milestones. She even had an injury which they reported to me, it was just a toy she dropped on her head that she was playing with. I didn't even see a mark, but they were very good about letting me know and explaining what happened, which I did not expect, but appreciated very much. I have said hi to other teachers and the director, but my main interaction is with the teachers in the infant room when I drop her off or pick her up. They are very polite to let me ask any questions on how she is doing, how her feedings go, naps, etc.. I never feel like I am bothering them or an overbearing mother, which is great since I am a first time mom!

Overall, this is a decent center. They do summer field trips that the cost is incorporated into the tuition. Most of their teachers seem like nice/decent people but I strongly dislike the director at this center, LaToya. She is very rude and constantly hassles about payment. I pay my fees on time, but she puts up nasty signs on the door demanding payment from all parents. I actually never talk to her unless she's asking for money -- so other than playing the role of an aggressive bill collector I am not sure what she even does there as far as being involved with the kids/parents. Very unprofessional. Unfortunately , in this area there arent many child care options to choose from and this is probably the best choice in the area. Definitely not a 5 star place, but its decent for the 2 hours of afterschool care I use them for. Cannot wait until my children are old enough to go straight home though!

My children have been going here for a year. My 4 year old knows all her colors, counts to 20 (ish), writes and spells her name sings the months or the year and days of the week... she loves her teacher.. my youngest just turned two. she can tell me what she needs and if she is hurt and where. Her teacher has also taken to potty training her, which is going awesome! There have been pumps and bruises... bites and falls.. but those will come everywhere.. they are quick to put a stop to the biting, and inform you of even the smallest injury.

My two year old son attends Copperfield KinderCare. The dedicated staff make you and your child feel like a part of their family. My son loves the teachers and staff. My son has learned so much from Ms. Evelin. His vocabulary has increased and he has made progress in his potty training. His motor skills have become better as well. I always get to see what he is doing in class from the work and photographs he brings home. He even sings the songs learned in class. Ms. Hillary and Ms. Keisha always works closely with our family and keeps us aware of events. I especially like the events that include family members. I appreciate the open communication provided to us when there is an urgent matter. I would highly recommend Copperfield KinderCare to other families seeking care for their children. I always have piece of mind when I leave my child there. Thank you so much, Copperfield KinderCare faculty and staff for being there for my son!

I had my 2yr old there for about a year and LOVED the teacher that she had but HATED the director. Every time i walked in the door (keisha i think her name is) she would attack me for money. She was always trying to charge me more and get me to pay her early. I was on NCI and always made my payments on time. She would try to charge me extra for months that had 5 weeks instead of 4 because my fee doesnt charge per week but per month. Once my daughter teacher quit there was no reason to keep her there. She was replaced by a girl who speaks little english and never spoke to me. Caution!

No daycare is perfect but this daycare outshines many. My son attended this daycare for almost 5 years. They are one of the few daycares that met my criteria for a secured entrance, offered breakfast, has a playground, provided drop off/pick up for school and offerred a good learning program. My son planted corn, learned about architecture and made many items in arts and crafts. His homework wasn't always completed or checked but for this afforable and good quality program nothing else in this area come even close. I would defintely recommend this daycare to anyone in this area.

This place is awful! The workers were nice at first, but I took my child there starting from him turning 6 weeks old and came to pick him up one day and was horrified. I went to change his diaper and he had dried on poop stuck to his little bottom, it had been there for hours. I also witnessed one of the workers literally dropping from 2 feet in the air, a sleeping baby in his crib. I would never ever recommend this facility to anyone. La Petite Academy is way better!

He will be well prepared for real school when that day comes. He loves going to school to see his teachers and friends! I know my infant is well cared for as well. I enjoy all the extra programs they offer: cooking class, music class, parent's night out, fun dress up days. I would definitely recommend this KinderCare to anyone.

I have three kids currently enrolled in KinderCare in Colorado Springs, CO. I have to first off say that all three kids love it there and are very happy. Compared to their last daycare my youngest does not cry when he goes to class. He runs and hugs his teacher in the morning when previously he would not stop crying and I hated leaving him at our last place. They have also helped tremendously with potty training which has been awesome. Also the biggest thing I wanted to notate and bring to attention is that KinderCare has opened their arms to my Type 1 Diabetic daughter. For those who do not know or understand Diabetes it is a lot to deal with on a daily basis. At our previous daycare the director told me to my face that my daughter was a drain on her budget because of having to train staff for her and having someone always free to help in an emergency situation. KinderCare has completely opened their arms with love. They touch base with me throughout the day to give me updates, ask advice, let me know whats going on. At times when my daughter has had to go to the hospital they have reached out and asked how she is doing. That goes above and beyond their responsibilities and lets me know they genuinly care about my children and the other children in attendance. I am very thankful to be a part of this center! Thank you for all you do!!

I can only think of two staff members that I would care to give kudos... they do a great job and are personable and seem to actually care about the kids and the parents. The rest of the staff is absolutely maddening from a parent's point of view. I took my daughter there last year and pulled her out for the summer. I reenrolled her for the school year, and on the first day there, got to hear about what a mess the place was and how much everyone hated working there. I was shocked. Why would I want to leave my child somewhere where the staff complained in front of parents? I have my child on a waitlist for another daycare in the area. The constand turnover, the crappy/complaining staff who can't ever answer a question, and that they mess up billing is just too much. My daughter will miss her friends, but I've had enough. I plan on calling the center's directer's boss and higher if need be. Several people absolutely need to lose their jobs.

Kindercare is the BEST childcare facility in town. I have had my kids at Kindercare for over 4yrs and counting. The learning center is extremely clean and the staff is professional yet personal. The teachers go beyond their duties to help every family that comes through the door..Tina is always kind and caring and Rosalie is a plethora of information; whether it pertains to their job or even as a parents helping another parent out. It's SO hard to know who to trust these days with our kids and everyone at Kindercare has earned my trust. If you can get the best of every world Kindercare offers it. No one is perfect, but they try their best and our family is fortunate to be apart of their efforts. If something had ever arise, the staff is always quick to respond and offer solutions/assistance (usually this is due to our lack of communicating to them with our schedule; they are very flexible and accommodating to help us as both working parents). They are simple, the best.

I have a 4yr old boy and a 1 yr old boy. My 1 yr. old ended up in the ER with a split tongue on a Sunday after going to daycare that previous Friday. At the time we didn't know when or where it had happened. On that following Monday my husband asked my 1yr. old's teacher if she knew anything about it. Her response, "Oh yea I forgot that happened with me on Friday. There was some blood but I just wiped it up. I was wondering why he didn't want to eat any food." The director never spoke with us about the incident and when I told her that my son was done there she didn't make any effort to apologize. Needless to say he was done there. Our 4 yr. old, on the other hand, had a good time there. However, the prices are RIDICULOUS & the staff, with the exception of a few, are rude for the most part. So not worth risking your child's safety!

I just LOVE LOVE LOVE KinderCare from my sons teacher to the welcoming you get from everyone , my son on our way in says hello to other teachers and goodbye to everyone on the way out, he is always happy in the car on the drive home. He is only 2 and is very advanced for his age and loves learning , we constantly get art to take home. The management team makes it comfortable for me as well as my sons teachers they show care love and passion in him. My son is enrolled in the cooking classes each week along with soccer on Thursday. He loves showing and sharing what he has done for the day with me. Being a military family my son goes through a lot of change with his dad leaving and they always comfort him and help out with way to help him adjust and cope with the new changes we face. We love VICKERS!! I also work in the two year old room and wouldn't have it any other way, vickers is a home away from home for me and my family. I appreciate all my coworkers, Thank you for all you do for me and my family.

I basically have a child in every classroom. My children range from 11 months throughout 6 years old; four children. Each child is extremely happy with their class environment. As a mother who previously was a homeschooling and stay at home mommy I was hesitant to leave my children. This center made it easier for me to move into the next transition of our family life because of their excellent care. The teachers really care; the entire center works as a team. We have specific family needs at this time and they have been wonderful about meeting each one and communicating. Within a month of attending my 2 1/2 year old was potty trained. My 11 month old is recently standing and comfortable with every teacher in the center. She's also mantaining a healthy diet here and eating schedule. There is progress in areas our transition had stumbling error. I see this as a place my children can grow, learn, and be safe. I highly recommend Kindercare on Vickers.

Mesa Kindercare provides a vibrant platform for our 2 year old daughter to grow and excel. The curriculum allows kids to explore art, music, and playtime with both curiousity and logic. The communication methods between teacher and parent have been excellent. I receive daily snapshots covering everything from meals & bathroom breaks to activities & naps. Kindercare certainly has a wonderful child care program, but what truly makes this location review-worthy are the staff. The teachers are awesome. They are genuinely invested in providing the best level of care possible. They implement my needs as I communicate them. A perfect example would be potty training, they carried over the same methods of consistency and structure we were using at home. The staff were key in our successful transition away from diapers. All this being stated, you should schedule a facility tour for yourself. We needed 2 visits in order to make up our mind. During the first, the Executive Director showed us around and we observed the class from the sidelines. But that wasn't enough, we needed to see how our daughter would react to daycare. The next day they allowed us to bring her in for a couple hours to let her feel it out and for us to watch. We were able to take our time and make up our minds and develop trust without the pressure to "enroll now." Kindercare is engaging and the curriculum is thoughtfully curated. The teachers cultivate an environment where children can thrive. Without a doubt, our daughter is completely safe and incredibly happy. and for that, we can not thank them enough.

I took my 6-week-old son to the Oakdale Road KinderCare facility to try it out before returning to work full-time. He was only there about 3-4 hours a day, and by the second day I was having second thoughts. First, he came home with a very soiled shirt that had obviously not been changed despite being soaked through with milk. Secondly, I was getting concerned about the number of toddlers in his area who were constantly messy, had runny noses for a long time without being attended to, and were clearly distressed whenever the "Teacher" would walk away from them. The facility also just seemed dirty and unkempt. Then, on the fourth day, we finally reached our limit. They called me to tell me that another child had scratched my son's face. They reassured me that he was doing well and that they had provided first aid right away. As soon as I got there, I broke down in tears, because he was more than scratched-- he looked mauled. They had let another child get close enough to my infant for long enough to inflict 13 separate scratches, several of which were on his eyelids, and three of which were deep enough to have bled (they would eventually scab over). I immediately ended his enrollment in the center and filed a complaint with the Community Care Licensing Center, but their final judgment was that the center did nothing wrong. Luckily, my son didn't have permanent damage, or this would have ended very differently.

Don't make the mistake that we did. If you'd like to enter your child into a factory type scenario, this is the place for you. A completely stale, uncaring environment. The staff have very little interest in the actual care of children. It's more a case of going through the set motions - feed now, play now, nap now... There's a million other options out there, go for one of them instead. I had never seen my child so deflated and defeated after a day spent here.

Both of my sons are currently attending this facility three days a week and our family has been extremely happy here. My older son started when he was 2.5 and he is now almost 4.5 in the preschool program. I also have a younger son who started in the infant room at 10 months and he is now almost 2. Both of my sons run into school happily each morning at drop-off. I look forward to connecting with their teachers in the morning and telling them funny stories of events from over the weekend. I have been on the parent committee for almost a year which has made our experience at Kindercare all the richer. I have first-hand knowledge of the thoughtfulness that goes into their safety and enrichment each day. Feedback and input are both very welcome and validated by management. The teachers make efforts to connect parents together and the entire staff and school is a wonderful community that I am happy to be a part of. The hours are extremely flexible and I feel that the food they provide is healthy and thoughtful (and better yet, I do not have to pack lunches!). My younger son has a peanut allergy and this facility has been extremely helpful and understanding about it. I highly recommend this facility and am forever grateful for the role they have had in the development of my children.

I pulled my daughter out of this hole after two days. We went on several visits prior to her first day because my daughter is my world and I wanted to ensure she would be in a great place. This place is one of the worst! They send home a report of what they do all day, they didn't change my baby's diaper for over FOUR HOURS! Expected her to take a nap after the first 3 hours of no diaper changing! LET HER NOT EAT OR DRINK ANYTHING ALL DAY LONG! Did not call to tell me she wasn't eating or drinking and it was during the heat of the summer. My normally happy baby came home and screamed and cried all evening. They wouldn't let her have her binky and stuffed animal during any part of the day. She came home with bruises on her face and a bloody dent in her head and they couldn't tell me how it happened because they weren't watching her. I reported them to the state and DFS. I am surprised they are still open. My daughter told me her teacher hit her in the stomach. She also got a yeast infection for the first and only time in her life during her two days there. Don't send your infant or toddler here. Save your child a load of a headache! None of these kids can even talk. My daughter is almost two now and talks up a storm using full sentences. The kids I met at this place had crusty noses and couldn't even say hello. Save your money! They are abusive and neglectful! All they do is go outside all day. If you want your child to learn anything, send them somewhere else.

Let me preface my comments with my issue is not with Kindercare but with this specific location. My daughter is now in the Mountain View Kindecare and she is doing great! My daughter was at this facility for several months. We had a few problems during that time, mostly due to what I viewed as under staffing. Some of my daughters items were lost and her feeding schedule was erratic to say the least. There were times when the teacher in the infant room would have as many as 7 kids by herself (way over the cal limit). On two of these occasions the assistant director was in the front office filling out paperwork when in my opinion she should have been helping with the children. The "learning plan" they sell you on is over stated. It was a moderately priced babysitting service. I believed I could drop my child off there and she would be adequately taken care of until I returned. Things came to a head when my daughter was bitten on the face by another child. The child who bit her was a toddler and had no business being in the infant room. Often times at the end of the day or for lunch breaks they will bring bigger kids into the infant room to be taken care of my the staff there. I wont even get in to how ridiculous that is in of itself. I also wont get in to the reason my child wasn't being watched while she was "playing" with a bigger kid. Here is where the water gets muddy. The skin on my daughters face was slightly broken and she had a bad bruise made up of several teeth marks. They treated her with antiseptic and iced the bruise down. The kicker is they didn't contact my wife or myself for over two hours. The excuse we were given was the teachers in the room had to cover breaks. In our opinion the teachers in the infant room had no intention of ever informing us that our daughter was hurt. If it weren't for the fact that she bruises so easily I believe they would have not mentioned it at all. Needless to say we took our daughter out of the daycare and contacted the corporate office. We were given a song and dance by the corporate rep and the regional manager about how they were going to follow up on the matter. They never did.

The director Mimi really cares about the kids and the families. The staff is very attentive and is very understanding of all beliefs and values. They also all update patents regularly regarding development. I still can not believe how they keep the facility clean at all times. My daughter went to this facility for over a year and I felt reassured and confident that she was in a safe place and structured environment.

I have two little ones who attend this particular KinderCare. My 3yr old *loves* it! She's made so many friends and has learned so many positive things. Her teachers are such a positive influence on her. My 10mo old seems to be doing just fine and has been exposed to fun activities like finger painting (with baby food). They come home with art work, a paper telling us what they did and ate for the day and take part in activities all the time. There are so many programs available to the kids and networking with other parents is great. The staff is amazing--especially the director and her assistant. They're so willing to work with your family and they're parents as well so they totally understand needs of a family. I HIGHLY recommend this KinderCare facility to anyone interested.

Kindercare is great! This comment comes after we had to switch daycare. Kindercare is a safe, clean and friendly environment for our baby, and for us parents. Since the switch, our baby became noticeably happier. I noticed that he has been able to sleep better because the infant room teacher, Alix, keeps the room quiet when a baby is sleeping. She reads, talks, and plays with each baby. The best of all is that she writes an individualized diary (in first person tone) about what the baby did on that day. I cherish them so much that I keep all of them. This really shows that the teacher cares and that she understands how hard it is for working parents not to be able to spend the precious moments while their babies grow up. Alix is also very organized. I don't know how she does it, but she seems to always be able to give attention to each baby while keeping the room organized and clean. Breastmilk is being checked by two teachers before giving to a baby, so there is no mix-up. At the first daycare, our baby wore someone else's diaper home. It doesn't happen at Kindercare. We had to do more laundry because our baby appeared to have accidents often. It happens rarely at Kindercare. The daily log at the first daycare often misses entries, but Kindercare's daily clearly tells me our baby's activity during the day, everything matches up (meal, diaper, nap). Another thing I love about Kindercare is its non-restrictive environment for babies. I didn't appreciate this feature before, but it makes a big difference! At the first daycare, babies were often strapped to a bouncer or swing, even when they are sleeping! Our baby got so sick of bouncer and didn't like to sit in it when we had him home. Because he is so much happier with just mat and boppy pillow, we set up the same kind of environment at our home and got rid of the bouncer. I nurse my baby at Kindercare everyday at lunch hour and observe how Kindercare operates. Other than some minor issues that I commented about, overall I'm quite pleased. Like the other mom said, the management is really friendly and are willing to fix things. So are the teachers. We are very happy that we switched to Kindercare and highly recommend to other parents. ------- Update (Jan 2012): Alix has since left KinderCare from my initial review. The quality of the care was not consistent for quite a while, sometimes good, sometimes not so good. I had some issues with the management and I sensed that they are not being very honest about how things really go when parents eyes are not there during the day. However, because KinderCare is a corporation, I feel that they have to be worry about liability issues and so must be careful. I was very involved and paid attention to details to their facility and everything else. For the most part, my child received fine care. As far as I can tell, my child was loved there.

This is a horrible place!! They do not follow court orders and do what they want for the $$$. Not about the kids and their well being they will go against court rulings just to get their $, it's sad. If you care about the well being of your child do not take them here!!!!!! I strongly urge all parents. I don't write a lot of reviews at all but I wanted to warn concerned parents out there. They say one thing and do another.

This organization is not a good place for your child. I am a former employee. Their practices are not developmentally approparaite and they do not put your child first. Many of the teachers are untrained. The management pretends that things are a certain way when a tour comes through and then doesn't support teachers to maintain that high standard. They do not pay or treat their teachers well. I would never work here again. I also would never have my child at any kindercare including this one. Their corporate policies will not always keep your child safe or cared for in the way they should be.

This place is poorly organize. My daughter goes to greeenvway elementary and was to be pick up kindercare. When they go to the gym to pick up the kids they assumed my daughter was absent because she was not there and left! When I got off work around 5pm and came to pick up my daughter the daycare had no idea and said she didnt go to school. They just looked at me like I was crazy I had to call the police myself to report my daughter missing. To make a long story the cops found her outside in the dark around 7pm. She was scared and said that when she came back from the bathroom everyone was gone and went walking to see if she could find our house or the kindercare bus. My daughter is 7 anything could have happened to her and thank god she was found. The police asked kindercare what normal pordocal would be when a child was not at school for pick up and they responded " to call the parents but in this case we did not." This kindercare has new staff consistently. After the director Ann left is when thing started to fall apart.

We have 3 children attending this daycare. An 11 yrld boy, 8 yrld girl and my 15 month old baby. The older two have been attending for 3 years and the baby since she was 3 mo's. I don't think I can ever say enough about what a great place this is. I can honestly say we feel very lucky to have found such great daycare for our children. Not only do the kids love being there because of the environment and friends they have come to cherish but the education, structure and even manners they have received from the great teachers is every parents dream. Now I'm not saying my kids are perfect angels or have become straight A students but the amount of growth and progress they make on a daily basis is something I would expect from a very expensive private education.. But add invaluable social skills and interaction! I've now become that guy that is always urging friends and family to do better by their kids and enroll them in a daycare. I tell them how great its been for my kids and how I would bend over backwards to give them the better life they deserve. Lol wow I meant to do a quick review to show my appreciation for everything they've done for my family and here I'm writing a letter lol. One last thing... THANK YOU EVERYONE FROM TOP TO MIDDLE! All 3 of my children went to this particular KinderCare. I can't even refer to them as staff - they are family. They are exceptional. I went to 5 daycares in the Memphis area before finally finding a home at this KinderCare. I have wathced a teacher grow to become one of the finest center directors around. I recommend this center to ANYONE needing to feel like you just left your child with a family member. :)

This daycare started out okay, but within a month my child had bruising on his face they could not explain, came home in the wrong diapers, had another child use his blanket, pacifier and sheets during nap time, and never had his card saying what he ate/if he slept that day. Awful place, awful staff, awful director (Trish) Please look elsewhere.

The staff at the Meridian KinderCare have impressed our family so very much. They are professional, caring, and genuinely seem to LOVE their jobs. My son has been going to Kinder Care since July and I am thoroughly impressed. My son is advanced well beyond his year (he is only one) and comes home showing me dances or concepts he has learned. People comment all the time on how smart and advanced he is and I believe Kindercare had a big part to play. I would recommend this learning facility to anyone.

My son attended this school for maybe about 2 in a half 3 weeks and I didnt like it..He wasnt learning anything he became the teacher's pet and would come home with the behavior of a spoiled brat. They were giving my son who is 2, candy after I specifically told them he was NOT allowed to have it..The day consist of eating sleeping and playing...they never give you a daily report on how your childs day went..so you dont know anything...I took my son out of their school and its been 3 weeks and they have yet to call and ask if anything is wrong..shows that they dont care about whether your child is there or not...THUMBS DOWN for sure!

We've had our 4 year old and 17 month old at Kinder Care on Basswood for sometime now. From day one they have been awesome! Those teachers love my kids like their own. I have so much peace of mind leaving them at Kinder Care because I know that they are in good hands. Unfortunately, we are moving and will have to pull them out. I'm sad to leave them and I know my girls will be, too.

We have been taking our son there since he was very young. The staff have a great understanding of meeting each individual child's needs. My son is two years old. He was at KinderCare for all of four days. Three of the four days he came home with scratches on his face. The first day the teach provided an explanation, so I tried to let it go. The proceeding days the scratches turned to deep gashes in his face and continued to get worse and worse. The teachers, the director Lisa, or any of the staff did not have a clue as to how this happened...which means that they are poorly attending to the kids in this center. This was the worse experience with childcare I have every had and I would deeply encourage people with small children NOT to leave them in the care of the people at this center. I was also told that I would receive a follow-up call after Mrs. Lisa investigated further...as you can guess that never happened! The place should be shut down. Not to mention my sons jacket was stolen in those four days as well. The service here was simply ridiculous. Bottom line.. don't let the smiles and ratings fool you... Find another location!!!

I have a different daycare organization in my neighborhood that I could walk to. I work from home and drive at least 35 minutes round trip twice a day to take my son to and from Kindercare Desert Ridge. He has been there since he was 11 weeks old and is now 2.5. From the moment I walked in the door, I knew it was the right place for my child. The staff truly care about the well-being of the children and my child has learned so much in his very short time there. There is no where else I would take him.

Thank you April & Jessica (directors), Melissa (infants), Rada & Janelle (toddlers), Reyna (5yr olds), Angel (superhero). If I could give it less than one star I would. Go ahead and enroll your child here if you want them neglected, fed spoiled food, and not cared for at ALL. My daughter has been attending KinderCare since my wife had to return to work at two months. We have been thrilled with the care that she is receiving. They have been very helpful in keeping us informed of her daily occurrences and we frequently receive pictures of her playing and having a wonderful time! She is in the infant room and they even do art projects with her! It is wonderful. They keep us well informed of any incidents or accidents that may happen. Her teachers care about her and always have her safety in mind. Management is also great! Everyone works with our constantly changing schedule and that is so helpful to us. We have loved our time at KinderCare and will have our daughter there as long as she needs the childcare.

They don't serve food that a 3 year old should be eating and they have repeatedly let my son sit in a poop filled diaper for HOURS and it was so cemented to his butt that he had to sit in a warm bath for 20 minutes before it would come off. He is miserable every single day and cries when I pick him up because he is so happy that he gets to leave. This daycare is absolutely horrible. I pulled my then 9 month out after only a couple of months. He was bitten repeatedly, and then ended up getting a rotavirus along with RSV. He was hospitalized twice before I realized that the day care was just incredibly unsanitary. The breaking point finally came when he came home with multiple bite marks and the staff claimed to have not seen him get bitten! The bites were bleededing and had broken the skin. The staff is undertrained and stretched too thin. Do not under any circumstances send your child to this center!

I started taking my kids to KinderCare in November of 2014 so almost a year ago. KinderCare is the first center they have been to so I was very nervous. KinderCare welcomed us with open arms and just got me really excited for my boy/girl twins to attend there. My twins were born 3 months early and are a little behind for the age. With KinderCare's full curriculum, even for my 21 month olds, they have grown so much and they are right on track to where they should be. KinderCare isn't like every other daycare you go to. Its really a school to get all children ages 6weeks and up ready for preschool!!! The staff are warm and welcoming and the whole appearance of the place just is so welcoming. For the first few years of our son’s life, he was cared for at an exceptional in home day care that we were very attached to. He received loving care and was exposed to fantastic learning opportunities and a small number of children his own age with which to interact. After much long consideration we decided a few years ago that our son would benefit from a larger daycare environment. We searched for a center with a solid pre-school program that would provide an experience that would more closely resemble a school. We wanted him to have the opportunity to experience interaction with more children to provide all of the social training that it can provide. We visited and researched a number of daycare centers and then found Kindercare in Pleasant Hill. It was clean and welcoming. The staff seemed very nice and had a great deal of experience. We were concerned in the beginning about how personal his experience would be in relation to his prior in-home experience. There was no need for this concern. Our experience has been excellent from the beginning. The whole staff is caring and attentive and very consistently provides the positive reinforcement and an appropriate level of discipline. The curriculum is fun and very effective for school preparation. This past year with Miss. Samantha was particularly amazing. She is an engaging teacher and very attentive care-giver. She was so fantastic at communicating with us any variations in behavior. We feel she really worked with our son on his specific strengths and weaknesses. It was obvious that she cared a great deal about the children and our son loved her! I do not feel that enough credit is given to care givers about their importance in the lives of our children. The Kindercare staff, especially Miss Samantha has been a real partner in parenting to us. Our son is confident and is educationally and emotionally prepared for his first year of school in great part as a result of his time at Kindercare.

My girls have been attending Kindercare for about 7 months or so now, and I have seen such a drastic change in both of them. The interaction of the kids and how well the staff works with them, is all helping them in growing. The teachers and staff at Kindercare are wonderful!! I have gained friendships with these men and women! My oldest rushes me along in the morning so that she can go to school to see her friends and teachers, so I know that has to mean something! :) I HIGHLY recommend Kindercare! We love KinderCare! My kids having been going since they were around 12 weeks old. My oldest is in Discovery Preschool and has learned so much. She loves staying busy all day with fun and educational activities and looks forward to going every day. My youngest is in the infant room and I am already being sent home with artwork that she has made. They also go through the effort to take the babies outside to get some fresh air in the shade, which I love. The communication between the staff and parents is great. When I pick my kids up they tell me if they had a good day then I get a daily sheet of all the activities, food, nap and diaper/potty times. Also, each week I get an email about specific activities they did relating to the unit they are in. The best part about KinderCare are their teachers. They truly care about my kids. Almost every teacher has had years of experience in child care. It means so much to me that I can trust these people with the care of my children while I am away from them. I also love that they support my parenting choices and the needs of my child. Not all centers are supportive or understanding of breastfeeding and cloth diapering so it really means a lot to me that accommodate our needs. I could go on all day about how much I love KinderCare!

Poor leadership has led to low performance in many areas, high turnover of teachers and management and has hurt this program, the families that depend on it, and the children they are supposed to care for. This childcare center has scarred my child to the point of no possible repair. My child was smacked by a male student on 1 occassion. Her hair was snatched from the roots on a 2nd occassion. Not to mention that she has some sort of sickness every other week. And I, the parent am 'unenrolled' because I filed a complaint and voiced my frustration with the lack of supervision and empathy of the staff. Protect your child!! Ask your child questions!! This center needs a total revamp. The district manager is insensitive and will not put your childs best interest first! Her concern is protecting her job. Be careful of the façade when visiting. It is a total deception! After 4 months my child will endure years of psychological treatment and no longer be the cheerful and outgoing child that she once was. Praying for the children of Kindercare.

Kindercare has a certain level of expected excellence this center did not deliver. I called and asked several questions about enrolling my upcoming pre-k student who was already accepted in an elementary school pre-k program. I also inquired about before and after care, thus letting them know my child was of pre-k age. A week prior to school starting, I did all enrollment forms and paid application fees in anticipation of my child starting care on the first day of school. I dropped her off the first day with no problems. They delivered her to her school and picked her up after school. When I came to the center to pick her up, I asked the director, Ms. Kathy about online payment enrollment and that is where they "discovered" my child was not of age to ride in the van because she was not yet 5. How was this missed when all paperwork should have been reviews prior to my child's enrollment? They assumed my child was in pre-k without any verification. There was obviously some lapse in paperwork completion, which is not good when dealing with people's kids. Bad business! So on the first day of school, after 630pm when most daycares are closed, I am scrambling to find care for my daughter. I had to miss work the next day to make sure my child did not miss school because of the negligence of this center. I had held Kindercare in high regards but this has changed my mind.

So I brought them over to the McMurry Kindercare to take a look around. They were immediately so comfortable there and Marcie, the director, was great to talk to. I was so lucky they had 2 open spots and my kids started the next week, It was the best decision I ever made. I have been VERY happy with this place, the teachers are great, the facility is clean, and they take the kids outdoors a lot which is very important to me.

We brought our daughter in for a "free day", where we were welcome to come watch her interact and play with the kids. I don't know if they were shorthanded that day, or what the deal was, but every time I dropped in, there was one young woman for 4 toddlers. The changing station was through a little half door, and the woman had her back turned to the other 3 kids while changing a diaper. Not acceptable to me. The bruised-up forehead and the "ouchie report" was the icing on the cake. I would not ever bring my daughter back there again.

My daughter has been attending this KinderCare for 3 years. The staff is GREAT! The activities are great! This is a great place for your child to learn and grow while you have to work. I feel this particular facility goes beyond what one would expect from a daycare. It's fun filled, all day learning (school) with teachers who care about your child. It's clean, safe, and secure. Definitely worth the cost. I definitely would recommend this facility to anyone with daycare needs!

I’m surprised at all the bad reviews here, and disagree with them all. We’ve been bringing our 9 year old son here since we moved in to the area three years ago. The staff has been very attentive and the grounds are clean and secure. The school age children have a different activity every day throughout the summer, including field trips to sports games and nature centers. They also get fed a nutritious breakfast, lunch, and snack. My only criticism is that it gets too loud for my son at times, and he needs to go to a calming spot to block out the noise. Overall this is a welcoming place with friendly staff interested in interacting with the children.

I started taking my daughter at the highland facility 2 years ago. When i enrolled her again this year i was pleased to find out they walked my daughter to and from school every day. I've grown to know all of the employees through time spent there picking and dropping off my daughter, and from her myself. Now my daughter is still there (she is 5 now), and my new daughter (8 months old) has been there a few months now. These are people who care about the children emotionally and physically. I wouldn't refer anyone anywhere else. It's somewhere i trust leaving my babies with, and that's hard to find.

We had enrolled our son in this facility for about a year. The place is always filthy and the teachers and administrators are only focused on one thing: collecting the tuition. We're certain that our son doesn't do any activities here. Whenever we call they make something up and on many occasions we pick him up and they hand us a daily report with nothing written, only his meals and diaper report. No activities, no books, no songs. If you want a place where your child will be completely on their own for the entire day with very little to no education, games or organized activities, this is your place! Expect your child to make the most of it, on their own! Easy to say for a one-year old!
