December 2014, purchased a battery from O'Reilly's and after 3 weeks my truck would not start. So I took it to O'Reilly's and they tried to tell me that it's not the battery, there is a problem with my truck. So I got mad and finally they admitted that the battery was faulty and gave me a new one. Now the battery they replaced it with is not working either! I'm getting a Die Hard battery and never dealing with O'Reilly's again! In the past I had a Riviera that needed a fuel pump and my car was at the shop next door and I went to O'Reilly's 3 times because all 3 fuel pumps were defective and my mechanic said people been complaining about their parts and their products are no good!!! Never purchase anything from O'Reilly's again!

My husband bought ball bearings. Got them home and got the old ones off the truck and opened the new ones. They are the exact same ones in each box but labeled wrong. Called the manager and he didn't want to own up to it, and it wasn't their mistake. "Life happens" is what was said. I will never go back.

As I left work today, headed to make the deposit for work. I heard my back right tire pop and my tire pressure monitor showed the pressure dropping fast. I managed to pull into O'Reilly Auto Parts, thinking someone there could help me. Walked inside and asked, a couple of guys came out and looked and said "Yeah, it's flat!" (Uhm, ya think?). I called Royd who was working a few miles away but would be there shortly to help. I decided to go ahead and start changing it myself. I mean my daddy taught me how to do this when I was 15.

We purchased 4 struts and sway bar links for our 2000 Ford Taurus around 2008. Had to have 2 of them replaced when we got home. Had someone call store about our warranty but no one at store or home office could find our warranty. Their employees don't do their job for warranty items by putting the info in their computer like they are to do which was stated to me by a manager! I went to BBB but they don't help. Don't buy from their store. If you bought it there just return it now because if you have warranty they will lose your info for it!

About three weeks ago my car died. Time for a new battery I thought. Installed a brand new battery and the very next day my car died again. Ok, time for a new alternator. Took my car to the shop and sure enough it was needing to be replaced. Everything seemed to be working just fine until I was 300 miles away from home and my battery light turned on. This lasted about a day until my car completely shut down on me. Unfortunately my car was out of state and so was I. I had absolutely no one to help me or come pick me up and I was stranded in a big city away from home with a dead car. Took me three days before I could finally figure out that what was wrong was a bad alternator installation.

Purchased a battery with lifetime warranty a year ago. Have had trouble the last 2 months keeping it charged. Took it into their store to have them test it... They said it was fine so they checked the alternator... This "kid" tested it for less than 10 seconds and immediately said the alternator was bad. Took it to my mechanic and he said there was nothing wrong with the alternator and told me to take the battery back and have them test it again. I retired the alternator which they weren't happy about and then asked the guy to take my battery off to be tested. He just looked at me and said I had to remove it due to their liability policy... It was a battery they sold me and installed but they tell me they can't take it off... Asked them to loan me a wrench and he proceeds to tell me they aren't allowed to do that either. Their customer service sucks!!! I will NEVER purchase anything from them ever again!

I needed a water pump for my 97 Honda Civic. I went to get the water pump, three months later my pump has busted and is cracked so I will never buy parts from this parts store because all of my part are going out just as soon as my warranty is up.

My friend owns a auto shop and has been working overtime replacing brakes purchased at O'Reilly. O'Reilly is aware of his suffering and says the problem is due to a bad batch of brakes they got in. O'Reilly has been to my friend's shop while he is working overtime and was made aware of the financial burden along with the owner's overtime hours taking him away from much needed time with his family. The shocking thing is that O'Reilly has still not paid their bill for the faulty parts and the complaints and repairs at the shop's expense is still ongoing. In my insurance with homeowners insurance this might come under double indemnity. I am surfing for past victory cases regarding auto parts. These types of cases deal with companies that do not pay their bills timely and cause financial loss to the plaintiff. If you know of any help please email to **.

I will never go or recommend O'Reilly. First let me say went to get spark plugs on my 2003 Dodge Ram, the guy spoke with over the phone not going to give his name but he did tell me that they had some for my truck. Went to O'Reilly on Sept 2, 2015, getting new spark plugs after my truck hit 200,000 miles. As I went into the store there was another man asked "may I help you?" I told him that I spoken with a guy over the phone about getting some spark plugs, he said "we don't have them in stocked." I said in a calm voice "I spoke with a guy named G**," he told me he looked to see if they had spark plugs for my 2003 Dodge truck but this other rep was looking at me all crazy said (REP) "Well sir we don't have them in stocked not at this O'Reilly. (Me I said, "well the guy I talked over the phone named G** said.") He went to the back, see if you all have them, told me "yes sir, we do."

First off I'd like to say that I am completely dumbfounded with O'Reilly at this point. I have gone thru 3 alternators all of which were bad. Finally went to auto One and guess what, that one works just fine. Now I am on my second set of calipers because they keep selling me seized ones. I have a 4 month old child I have in my car and I cannot believe in the quality of your products nowadays. I will no longer be coming to you. You are putting my life at risk by selling faulty parts. This would be the 4th time that my vehicle has just stopped in the middle of traffic almost causing multiple accidents.

I purchase a battery from this rip-offs, next day got stuck on the road. Nobody to help me to start this battery to take it back to the store. Since 2 weeks I have been calling the store to send someone to start this battery. They all gave me excuses and the answer "no". These asses told me to call a tow truck. This prick was charging me $15.00 just to tow my car within 5 blocks to the store. I hung up on this **. Just want to warn people all these are scams. They sold me a bad battery. I will never spend my money again in this rotten place. They all could go to "hell".

Recently I went to your store in Flower Mound, TX on Justin Rd. I have been going there for a while. I am a rewards member and do a lot of work on my own cars. I went in to purchase some CV boots for my ES-300 Lexus. I was told at the store it’s wiser to just change the axle so I did. I have since been told that this is true, however once I put the two axles on my car I started getting a very bad vibration in the front end.

One week ago, on Saturday September 12, 2015, my husband's clutch cable from UPR snapped while he was driving down the road (which will also be addressed to them). We got his Cobra towed to a shop, and the only place we could get a new clutch cable then was O'Reilly's. Okay, we knew better, but he had to have it to drive back an hour and a half from Columbus, GA to Warner Robins, GA. Knowing that the employees make commission of their sold parts, we never shopped there... that just spells trouble.

I purchased an alternator on 8-5-2015 and it went out on Sept.16, 2015. I had to do all the work on it myself. I have to get a rental car because they said part wouldn't be in until possibly Sat. Sept.19th, 2015. Lousy customer service - all we want to do is get our part and they reimburse our money for part because now my husband has to restart the car down again and redo the alternator because of their defective part.

Wasn't impressed with the customer service. The employees are generally lazy and rude. I'll be shopping at AutoZone from now on. I won't forget my bad experiences at the Roy and Ogden Utah stores. Keep driving customers away. Maybe you'll put yourself out of business!

I was a regular customer. I'm retired and buy and restore vehicles as well as do some outside work. Went in and bought 1 ft of fuel line which was a little over 6.00. I thought was high but everything's going up in price so mentioned it to sales guy and he just laughed. No receipt given, with a grain of salt paid and left. Well 1 ft was not enough so took a piece to AutoZone which is closer and bought 2 more feet, total was 2.58. What a difference, that's 1.29 a ft on this one item. Keep the 4.71. I'm taking my business to AutoZone from now on.

This afternoon I go to the location in Buechel, Kentucky and Courtney waited on me. She was very nice, however, she wasn't sure which battery size I needed. So I bought both sizes to return the one I wouldn't need. I also needed an alternator. The price she quoted was much higher than I expected so I told her I'd call Auto Zone and get it from there if cheaper. She said they match prices and called Auto Zone herself. They were about $25 cheaper. When I got home, I realized she charged me the full price on the alternator and not the matched price. When I went back to return the battery we didn't need, she was gone and I explained what happened to the man now waiting on me.

Went into a store in Augusta, Ga., they won't you hand them your charge card, they have no card swipes for you. Bought a part and asked if they would hold it and I may need another part after buying a starter. Couldn't find what I wanted, the worker didn't give my card back. I walked out, went down the road and looked, and realized the worker kept my card. Went back to the store and they said they gave it back. I recalled telling them to keep it, may need another part. I know for a fact the employee stole my credit card, had to cancel it. Now I have to change all my information on all places I use my card. Thefts on Peach Orchard Rd.

The employee named Brendon at W 11th has the worst customer service ever and his boss Dave ** is the worst district manager I've ever came across. If you wanna get yelled at and not helped or sold wrong parts go ahead and shop there. They need to care more about the customers than the dollar...

The most unprofessional staff I've ever seen in my life at Auto Parts store. 35 years being a mechanic that is the worst I've ever seen. They don't stand behind their warranties. The store manager left the counter clerk hanging out to dry because he didn't know how to deal with the situation. Sad, very sad service.

I understand why people shop at RockAuto.com, other than O'Reilly, AutoZone, Advance, etc. You get better quality at half the price even with shipping. Called about 2 Rotors for 2010 Malibu lt. Got better rotors plus shipping than I could have got 1 at Local parts stores. Get real people. We will be ordering all our parts from Rock Auto. Thanks for nothing.

The same thing happened to me with my battery. I have replaced this battery 5 times and getting ready to return the 6th one for a refund. My car has been thoroughly tested by my mechanic, the alternator has been replaced and every time I get the charging system checked, it always comes back as bad battery. They seem to be losing charge over night and that is what was happening at the local store. They would charge it up and I would purposely leave the battery there overnight and sure enough, it would test bad the next day.

My name is **. I own six yep six vehicles and try my best to do my own work to them if not something that requires a professional. I have used O'Reilly's auto store for more than 16 years. On Thursday July 2nd 2015 I called the store on 119th and Western at approximately 10 a.m. I ordered CV axles for my daily driver and they were supposed to arrive around 1:30 p.m. When I arrived at about 3:30 p.m. to receive my parts no one knew that they were supposed to be there. They were not there nor was there any information showing that they should have been there or had been ordered that morning. The man behind the counter offered to reorder the parts and they could be there at 5:30.

The weekly flyer advertises 5 qts oil + filter for $22.99 and "Upgrade to a Wix filter for + $2.00. My receipt showed $30.49 for the deal (filter $11.29 and $19.20 oil). The same filter at O'Reilly online is $12.49. Who's doing this math? BEWARE. PAY SEPARATELY AND SEE IF YOU PAY THE ADVERTISED PRICE. After a 2nd trip to the store, the manager was good about being willing to "fix" the problem but it took him about 20 minutes (and only he could do it). Isn't this kind of advertising illegal?

1995 Geo Tracker clutch Cable. Called, ordered 95 Clutch cable. When I picked it up, my friend that was going to install it automatically said, "This is wrong part. The end part isn't like the one that's on it." The man said, "Oh, they make them universal anymore. It will work." Not until I almost got killed in it, where cable was longer and failed to work (!), did we decide to reinstall another cable, this time going to Advance Auto, and you guessed -- cable is same length, same fittings as one removed! I was in traffic. Could have been killed!

My batery died recently and when I took it to O'reilly not only did they help me find a great replacement, they also gave me a warrantied battery in case anything happened. When my car battery dies recently, I needed to buy a new one. But we live in a small town, and things like that are pretty expensive. So I looked online to see what I could find, and I ended up finding a good deal for a new battery on oreillyauto.com.Ease of UseThe site lists common categories on the side for different parts. When I clicked that I wanted a vehicle battery, it automatically brought up a window asking the year, make, model, and type of engine of my car. After I entered the information, it brought up the available options that matched my car. This helped ensure that I was getting the right battery that my car needed. The battery has worked great since I put it in.Product PricingThe prices on oreillyauto.com are a little higher than a couple other stores that I looked at. But they also had better quality, and I ultimately decided to pay a little more for better quality, as all-around it provided the best value for the money.

We own a few daily drivers and a few restoration projects that we work on ourselves, as well as helping family members, so we are always searching for parts. Our local store only has a few knowledgeable employees, and they only work in the evenings, so we have come to rely on OReillyAuto.com for information. It allows you to easily save your vehicles so that you do not have to re-enter the information every time you enter the site, and shows you only parts that will work for your specific make and model. It allows you to see the part you are looking for, lists the specs and fit of the part, the price, warranty information, and whether your local store has it in stock. There really is no need to call the store anymore when you have all the information you need at the click of a mouse. It allows me to find the best part for my needs and give the employee the part number so there is no searching all over again when you get to the store to purchase, and no chance they may sell you the wrong part if you have done your homework.

I have shopped at O'Reilly Auto Parts several times . When my car needs repairs and the estimates I get are more than I can afford I shop around at O'Reilly. The prices they charge for parts is far better than any price I get from a mechanic. They have everything you need for your car. They have very large inventory even for my older cars. I thought some of the parts I needed would not be available but they have had all the parts I need. If you take a moment to register, the information about it will be stored and will be easier for you to find the parts you need the next time you log in. I have bought batteries, alternators, spark plugs and more for cars from 1980 to 2010. Just have the make and model of your car available. You need to know how many cylinders and some extra information for some of the parts. Checking out is very easy as well. They ship in a timely manner so you do not have to wait weeks for your items if they are in stock.

O'Reilly.com is an easy to navigate online auto parts store. Their landing page gives you the opportunity to enter and save your vehicle information for future usage of their site. Parts can be searched for by using a keyword, vehicle information, or item number. Parts can also be searched for by using a brand index of 1,2,3 and A through Z. They have yet another area that contains a list of popular categories. For anyone looking to see what rebates might be available, the site also has this listed, along with a link to track the status of any rebates that you may have already submitted. Online sales are easily noticeable as they have a popup window bringing attention to some of their highlighted deals. Online sales match what is in their current ad, which is also available to view by clicking a link. In addition to sales, the site also offers a clearance section. O'Reilly's offers a fast loading, easy to navigate, user friendly site. They will often offer deals on shipping, but there are usually some exclusions, so be sure and read the fine print. Items ordered from them were shipped and received promptly and tracking information was provided.

About a year ago I purchased a new used car. I drove it a few weeks and end up needing a new battery. So I went online to ORielly.com and compared prices with the other auto parts sites and this one had some of the best prices. I was satisfied with the prices and was expecting great service from ORielly.com because I had previously shopped in one of their local locations close to my home. I was overall satisfied with the service I received from the store and later when I ordered my Battery from ORielly.com I was even more satisfied with their online service. It was exceptional. The one thing that I didn't like is the prices are cheaper but you make up for it in shipping but the shipment was on time and in perfect condition when it arrived to me. It is now a year late and I still have my car battery I purchased from ORielly.com and it is still working great. I would certainly order from ORielly.com again if I needed more car parts!

Personally I prefer to shop at the actual store location, but I do find that ordering from the O'Reilly site does come in handy at times. Their website is easy to navigate and not confusing. You can shop by Brand or Part. They do have free shipping available every day, but you have to have a minimum purchase of $75 (check some exclusions on this though) which sometimes is hard to meet if you just need a few lesser expensive items. They have a video section that is somewhat interesting. They are almost like mini commercials for different products. Most is pretty common sense but I like that they take the time to have this feature. You can also view their current weekly ad right on the site if you don't get the paper. Be sure to check the "returns" section so you know if whatever you purchased can be returned and how. A nice bonus is they do have Live Chat. So if you aren't sure about a particular product you can chat with someone and get advice. All in all I like this site.

I really like OReillyAuto.com when shopping for all my automotive replacement parts and accessories. The first time I used this website I added my current vehicle information and saved in for future references. Now when I need parts, the website makes it easy to locate what I need. This is my favorite website to find cleaning products and accessories for my car. The prices are always very visible and can't be beat. I never have a hard time finding what I need and their customer service is great. When I purchase an item on the website, the product is always available at the store as promised on time. This website is customer oriented by assisting me in finding a local mechanic that I can trust. Also, my family loves watching Nascar and this website keeps us up to date with all the upcoming races. I would recommend this website to others for more than just automotive parts.

What better way to shop for replacement automotive parts than online the O'Reilly Auto Parts website. From the comfort of your own home you can research specifically which part you need, its availability in your neighborhood & browse through sales flyers, rebates & several brands/qualities to choose from. Searching for parts is made easy. It can be done various ways, via the search window, by part name brand, specific type of part you are looking for, item number, and by type of vehicle you are repairing. There are also 1-3 and A-Z tabs at the top of the screen for finding brands alphabetically. If that's not easy enough for finding and locating your needs, the left tab on the homepage offers many popular categories. These popular categories offer a thorough breakdown of all parts related to that specific category. O'Reilly's offers a broad range of pricing on every part, so that you can get the job done, no matter what your budget. Returns work the same way it would buying from a store front & can be returned to any location or sent back to the online store via the return address. If you are shopping for the best price, give O'Reilly's Auto Parts website a try & compare with other auto part distributors first. Also, make sure your local store has the necessary part prior to making a trip into town.

I use this website a lot as I work on a lot of cars for myself and my family and friends. I must say I get better service on this site than I have in person in many of the local parts stores. In the past there have been times when I had to buy parts form a person that had no idea what they were selling or how it worked. I always found it frustrating to deal with a parts counter person that new nothing of the parts they sold. This site unlike some of the others is very easy to navigate and search for the parts you need. Some of the others ask you to register every car you search for parts for in your list, I work on dozens of cars, I don't want a list. I will continue to use this site and this store locally for all my parts store purchases. I have only in the past 2 years been doing my parts business online, but O'Reilly's is the only one I use. I have used it for store pick ups, and postal delivery as well. I do more searching and local pick-up than postal but if a part is out of stock I will often opt for postal delivery. This is a great site and awesome service.

Of all the auto parts websites OReillyAuto.com is my favorite. I am able to easily navigate the website Oreillyauto.com I like that I am able to save multiple vehicle makes and models so that it is easy to find parts and prices for the specific vehicle I am needing parts for without always having to enter the same information. I also like that I can search local stores to see if the parts I need are in stock or how soon it will take for them to be delivered to the store. I currently have a 2002 Dodge Stratus Sedan and have been able to easily find all of the parts I have needed to purchase and all have been available to order at Oreillyauto.com and I was able to pick them up at a local store without having a long wait time in the store. I also really like how the search function of the site is set up, I am not mechanically savvy but by following the prompts on Oriellyauto.com I have always been able to find what I am looking for even if I don't know the proper name.

I bumbled in here late the other day because my old battery had finally gone to that great Set of Jumper Cables in the Sky. The whole transaction took about 10 minutes and was exactly what I needed. Super nice, cheerful, efficient service.

Dear Jiffy Lube: I know the reason your oil changes are cheap is because you seriously jack up the price on other stuff. Case in point: air filters- last time I went and got my oil changed, JL wanted to charge me $35 for an oil filter. Enter O'Reilly Auto Parts. Now, I am not the most engine saavy person, but I know enough to keep up on routine upkeep, changing minor things like lightbulbs, air filters, windshield wipers, and so forth. I also know getting such items and doing it yourself is a lot cheaper. I walked in, had one of the (surprisingly really nice) employees help me find a new filter, and was on my way in under 10 minutes. Also, the guy helping me out didn't give me any grief for wanting to take the filter out of its box to make sure it looked okay. $15 and tax, and a quick hood pop, and I was good to go. Plus, this place is really well lit and clean. The auto shops my dad would take me to as a kid were always a bit on the grimey side, so this is a welcome change.

Authentically friendly and efficient.  They took some time to explain things to me that are probably obvious to other adults who drive cars.

I generally go in when one of my lightbulbs burns out, or I need a new air filter. The guys there have always been friendly and helpful even when the store is busy, which is probably why I'm a repeat customer*. It's certainly not the prices. *I should mention, mostly as a response to Joe S. and his laugh-out-loud 'key fob' review (1 star) that I treat service workers like human beings. I smile, say please and thank you, and try to make light of potentially stressful situations. I also don't complain about nonsense that isn't the fault of the individual, such as a liability issue. A decent attitude goes far with Matt and most other folks whose job is to accommodate terrible people all day.

ATTENTION VETERANS!!! I am only giving this a 2 star because a couple months ago I went there to purchase something and the fella ringing me up was extremely customer service oriented. However, what happened there yesterday really upset me. I had a simple purchase that I needed to make, grab a new battery for a car I bought. When I arrived the lady who was serving me (had chewing dip all along her bottom teeth, I used to dip in the army, but cleaned my teeth after. I know it's a gross habit, haven't done that in years) was being slightly rude in her overall demeanor; fine with that, didn't care. When she began to ring up the items for purchase I asked about a military discount. I know they offer a military/veteran discount because I have asked before, so I was prepared with my FEDERALLY ISSUED VETERAN AFFAIRS CARD, stating I am a disabled veteran. She took the card out of my hands and starred at it for quite some time; I don't know why, it has my picture right on the front. Then she pipes up with a tone like a parent talking to a child who doesn't understand, stating that "unfortunately I can't give you a discount, this card has no numbers." Okay I must tell you that I did lose it at this point. "No numbers, what the f*** does that mean?" She wouldn't give the discount because my FEDERALLY ISSUED VETERAN AFFAIRS CARD DOESN'T HAVE NUMBERS??? I use my veteran discount at Lowes, Sears, etc. If a shop doesn't offer a discount, doesn't stop me from shopping there. I don't mind if a place doesn't offer one, fine by me, just when a place does offer one, perhaps treating the veteran with a little more d*** respect would be appropriate. This wasn't a teenager, this was a fully grown adult who can't clean her teeth after having a chew, doesn't treat veterans with respect, and talks to customers like they are children. I grabbed the core battery I brought to exchange for a new one, told this establishment in a rather loud tone that I didn't want to give my money to them, that I would go to a place where customer service was important. As I started to walk out, the manager I guess, did try to step up and said she could take a look at it (so she at least tried). But the truth is I was done with that joint the moment I was talked to like a child. Here's this person who can't clean her teeth (seriously, I dipped in the service and you just need a little water, a toothbrush, a little self respect, and you too can have clean teeth after a dip) treats me like a child; well I served in Iraq in 04,05,08, and 09, I earned my combat infantry badge in Baghdad, Iraq and have logged thousands of miles over that entire country. I served in New Orleans days after the storm in Hurricane Katrina relief. I joined days after 9/11 because I was an adult who had to serve, no choice, I stood up because I love my country. It would behoove you to treat veterans with a little more respect so you can go to a grocery store, own a car, have a job, go to school, etc. If it wasn't for Veterans, you might be speaking German. Anyways, I left that BS store, drove up to the 145th O'Reilly's store where I was able to purchase my battery from a very nice person who looked at my FEDERALLY ISSUED VETERAN AFFAIRS CARD and gave me a veteran discount. This store was extremely clean by the way and the tech working, well you wouldn't know if he dipped, because he didn't have Copenhagen shards all over his teeth.... he must have had some self respect. I am going to write a nice post about the Aurora store later today. The Ballard shop lost a customer.

I am at the end of 2 months healing from a broken ankle. Needless to say my car battery was toast after not driving it the whole time. I wheeled myself about 6 blocks to the store on my knee scooter with the dead battery in my back pack. After purchasing a new one the guy at the counter named Marvin (52770) offered to take the battery out to my car. I LOL'd and said my car was at my house like 6 blocks aways. He then said he didn't want me to have to carry the battery myself so he picked it up and said "let's go!" WHAT???   Yup, he carried my battery 6 blocks to my house and put it into my Jeep for me!  Crazy!!! Customer Service of the year! I have never had someone go out of their way like that before!  A loyal customer I will be from now on. Great job Marvin and THANK YOU so much.

Crazy how one location can differ from another.  The Haller Lake Oreilly's is run by incompetent employees who are some of the dumbest people I've met in a while. (check out my other oreilly review) This location though is just the opposite.  They are always friendly, competent, totally on point.  I always go to this one now because it's how a business should be and I don't leave shaking my head in disapointment.  Thanks for everyone's help and great attitude.  Hahaha, the Haller Lake store needs to be trained by you guy's.

Stopped in yesterday after work because my check engine light came on. I was instantly greeted, and promptly helped by the staff. They were able to give me my engine code errors, and then printed them off for me. The manager even took the time to explain what they might mean, and what my next steps should be. I will stop in here for my future car needs, and will certainly recommend them! Even when they were seemingly busy, I was quickly helped. Thank you for helping me avoid an unnecessary trip to the dealership!

Decided to stop in at O'Reillys b/c my car battery had died at work & I had to be jumped to get it going again.  I had actually called around to some auto service places who were going to charge me for the battery and the install and even said I might have to leave my car over night as they were booked with appointments until they closed that day.  Which I thought was ridiculous, I get you are busy but a battery change should not take overnight.  I was ready to youtube it myself and figured if I went to an auto supply store they'd have to the tools to do it as well as the new battery I needed.  O'Reillys was more than helpful in providing great customer service including swapping out my old for my new battery right there and it only took about 10min.  Thank you Joshua for doing that & the kind lady behind the counter for your wonderful service!

Great, friendly service. Willy kindly checked my depleted battery and then installed my new battery. Everything went quickly and smoothly. They don't always swap out batteries, depending on number of customers, type of car, etc. So I'm thrilled they were able to help me out. I'd happily go back.

I went in to buy a $3 bulb for the taillight of my Rabbit. After watching countless YouTube videos, I was still unsure of how exactly to remove the cover of the light and replace the bulb in anything under an hour.  Not to worry though, my friendly O'Reilly associate went outside in the pouring rain and replaced all of the lights for me...without me even having to ask. Yay! Will be back!!! The other associate was also standing in the rain replacing another woman's windshield wipers (for free!) How's that for customer service???

I didn't have to do a thing but marvel at the great customer service ... thanks fella you made me a devoted disciple ..Ill be back for sure.

Ever since I have been living in the Ballard area, I have been relying on this store for my basic auto parts needs (its mainly been replacement head lamps, break lamps etc.).  I was pleasantly surprised when today, not only did they help me locate my break lamp i needed, but they actually installed the replacement for me right there in the parking lot in less than 5 minutes.  What awesome customer service! Thanks guys :)Side note: Every time I have visited there seems to be at least 4 or 5 people working which is awesome and if its busy the line moves pretty fast.  These guys are very knowledgeable and really know what they're doing and will go the extra mile to help! Simply outstanding.

This "Josh Ter" fellow is hilarious. You seriously got butthurt when an employee tried to help you and you get sidetracked? That's not his fault, that's yours, he's probably busy. That's more than likely why he recommended another employee help you. I would have done the same thing as the employee. Granted, I probably wouldn't have said it the way he did, but nevertheless. Judging by how you sound quick to anger, I'd bet good money you're at fault. Anyways....on topic. They didn't have the fuse that I needed at the O'Reilly's in Mesquite, so for fun and to drive around a bit, I ended up at this O'Reilly's off of Live Oak. I'm not gonna lie, it felt like a pretty sketchy part of town. Alot of homeless (but polite) people standing outside asking for money (which isn't the business' fault, I know.) I went in to find a headlight fuse on my E Class and he informed me that he didn't see anything in the system. The guy had a very upbeat attitude and seemed to genuinely care. He let me know that if I could bring the fuse to him, he would try to find a compatible one. It took me a good 30 minutes of trying to get off this ridiculously hard fuse box. Read manuals, online, everything. I went inside and asked where the flatheads were so I could buy a cheap one to pry it off. He offered to let me borrow his flathead which was very kind. Eventually I popped it off, and looked all over the place, no headlight fuse. Come to find out, Mercedes likes to be a bunch of bitches and purposely made the car where you have to bring it to the dealership. Just what I'd expect from a Mercedes, nothing is easy. Even though I wasn't able to find what I needed, I was genuinely impressed by the service I got there. On a side note to anyone reading - NEVER BUY A MERCEDES haha.

So I was there picking up a part, Im waiting and in comes in another customer, I strike up a conversation about his truck and what he is doing, and the guy who was helping me out interrupts saying the other worker is going to take care of him i dont need to be told that! The man and I were having conversation you half-wit! Must be normal in your country to be rude but not in my land! Stand in line for 20 minutes when i just want to pay for an off the shelf part. They cant have 1 person just ring people up? Even if its slow sometimes and they sit there picking there nose 3 hours a day what would that cost you? $30 to make customers happy? This has happened no less than 4 times to me. Last 2 times i just set my stuff down and walked out. AutoZone off Maple and Inwood is just down the street and has someone dedicated to the register 95% of the time I've been there. Im just going to drive the extra 1/2 from now on and stop wasting my time.

I went in and I see they are busy. I decide to wait in line there was 2 people in front of me. When it got to my turn I gave the lady the fuse I needed and gave her mk & model of the car and she pulled up the items on the computer screen. She was searching for a minute or two for the matching fuse. Then she received a call. Someone was asking her if a type of oil was in stock. She pauses what she is doing with me to talk to this customer and write the type of oil down. Then she puts that person on hold. When she does that I thought maybe she would finish what she started with me. Instead without warning she walks away towards oil. From my experience, when I call to ask if a part is available, If whoever answers the phone is busy with a customer they let me know so I can decide to hold. I understand and think that's only fair. When she walked away I thought that was so rude and unprofessional. I waited my turn, she already started a search with me. When you start a transaction with a customer you should always complete it before helping another. That's good customer service not what she did.

I had no where to go so, I took a a walk & found this store but it was not open yet. I found a place to sit & have coffee for a few hours & after they opened I pushed my bike over there. All three young men behind the counter were so nice & helpful. The manager assigned the youngest of them to help me with my bike. I don't know if the part i purchased works or not, but I can review the "service" I got. Apparently there were 2 employees who were working there on this particular Sunday. I walked by both and neither asked if they could help me find anything - but they did comment on my appearance. Awesome. So I found my part unassisted, and when I walked it up to the desk the two employees both walked out the front door and exited the building, leaving me to stand at the register staring at pictures of customers being assisted. Try to go to a different store if you can, this one is a powerful argument against the idea of a living wage.

The idiot Shawn that works at this location is an incompetent complete and total idiot. He has no idea how to talk to customers, he doesn't know anything about parts. I've been to this store many times and most of the time service is ok. However, today the service was HORRIBLE. I asked an employee how the rewards program works and he told me he didn't know. Then I asked another question and he said "I guess". Guess I'll be going to autozone... I didn't get the name of the guy that helped me but he was wearing a snap-on jacket and snap-on hat.

The manager thinks he's all that. He is very rude and not helpful at all. It seems like he is always mad and hates when you ask about anything. The other employees aren't as bad, but for the most part they are immature and very unprofessional.

Appreciated them retrieving the parts I needed. However, the guy who helped me consistently talked down to me, and insulted my intelligence multiple times. I probably will avoid this store from now on based on how they treat a young female in a disrespectful way.

We were driving through town after an event this past weekend pulling a trailer when the wheel started locking up. We called this store to see if they would wait for us to get there and the 2 gentlemen working said yes. They didn't only wait they helped to get the wheel bearing off which wasn't easy. Although they couldn't find the parts we needed they allowed us to leave our trailer here and come back this morning to work on it. Today Michael the assistant manager has jumped through hoops to find parts and order parts to get us back on the road to Dallas. We are forever grateful for the great customer service and will be loyal customers now for life. Thank you for looking out for your customers and going above and beyond!

I absolutely love this O'Reilly's! I've never had a bad experience here. The workers are so friendly, educated, and helpful. I recommend this place to everyone who needs any help with their car. They helped me replace the driver's side light bulb on my 2003 Jetta TDI, which is so annoying to replace that the Walmart down the road had actually refused to do it. I love these people!

I want to tell the world how wonderful these guys are: Art, Oscar, and Billy (use to work at O'Reilly)! I cannot explain to you how wonderful the guys in this O'Reilly Auto Parts are. They really help out their customers and go above and beyond. I was in a really awful situation where a AAA wrecker service in Norman jumped my car incorrectly and I was barely going to get home. I went there to see if I could just get the electrical fuse replaced to hold over until the morning. They not only tested it, they called the wrecker service for me and said my car was a hazard to drive and they would need to find another option for me to get home and get to work. Above and beyond! The guys also waited with me after hours until the wrecker guy got there. They gave me a number to a reputable lawyer, their store number, and gave me invaluable advice.

Patrick was awesome. He helped out a lot and really demonstrated that he had a breadth knowledge regarding auto parts, amongst many other topics I am sure. I came in on a busy day to get a new car battery. What I needed was the last in stock, but the store had many available for other (domestic) vehicles. Sadly, as Wisconsin weather is so, many of my friends and colleagues seek auto parts/service quite frequently. The upside is that this location exists and can provide excellent service.

This store is close to where I store my motorcycle ( unfortunately ) I've been in 3 times for simple odds and ends and all three times they were out of it except for one occasion of those three. Unfortunately they didn't seem to have any of the spark plug gapping tools to actually install the plugs I had just bought. Returned them and went to nappa a block away. Sure I spent about 3 dollars more but I actually got service ( the guy was going to sell me the wrong plugs) and wouldn't you know it? They had a whole box of plug gapping tools

I went in today to get a battery replacement for my car and the cashier that ringed me up was totally rude. With all due respect, I don't mean to pull the race card but he was a young Caucasian male who apparently was having an "awesome" day but the attitude he gave me was uncalled for. He even called my friend, PATHETIC. Wow, nice job O'Reilly for hiring losers. This store definitely doesn't deserve my money and I will not come back unless he's gone. Talk about unprofessional.

Fantastic service at this location! We were driving from north eastern Wisconsin to Chicago when our battery light came on. We stopped to have them run the diagnostic on the light. It turned out to be the alternator and there was no way we would be able to make it to Chicago. This was 5 pm on a Sunday. No repair shops were open, and we had to get to Chicago that day. Danny found us an alternator in stock and when we failed to install it ourselves offered to ask his friend to do it for us! They really went above and beyond the call of duty to help us out!

THis is the second time now that I've ordered a part through Oreillys. The first time they never called me back and I still don't know if they ever got the part in or not. This time they said they would have it at 10am give or take a hour. Well Its still not in. I'll stick with Autozone next time. They have a much much cheaper core charge anyway.

Suprisingly good for your average auto parts store. They have stocked most of what i needed and usually can help me out. I stumped them when i came in tooking for teflon compound (not tape) and another time when i was wondering what grease i could use on some poly bushings. But even during those instances they provided all the help they could, calling others for opinion, etc. They usually have what i need and if they dont they can usually get it within the day. The main reason i go here though is because the hours of operation are quite convenient and its only a mile away from me.

Have had great experiences here. Most of the time customer service is great. On rare occasions the store is very busy and quality customer service is understandably spread thin. Their prices are far better than dealerships and they give me a military/veteran discount on most things. The only two complaints I have is that they do not stack coupons or offers together. For example, if I have earned a $5 O-rewards coupon they will not stack that with a military/veteran discount. It has to be one or the other. The other complaint I have, which is more of a piece of advise, is to watch out for some cheap quality made-in-china junk. Other than that, this place has earned my repeat business.

Since they changed their brand to Oreilly's, the checkout lanes became very slow. Unlike Autozone, they don't manage a separate checkout lane for purchase, so I have to wait behind others while they finish their part search with clerks. Waiting 10 minutes to buy a bottle of oil is unacceptable. Also the employee work standard should be raised. They should work fast and treat customer as the top priority. The lady at the counter used to be busy in organizing credit card slips than accepting customer check outs for the customers waiting in line for 5 minutes.

Went to this Murrays location to recycle my used oil and buy some parts for routine tune-ups for my car. I was really in a hurry so I was hoping this could be a brisk. Wrong. The employee who received the used oil container never came back to give my container. After 15 minutes, I asked the other employees and they treated this as a joke, said he forgot and ended up doing something else but will be right up with my container. Another 15 minutes, never happened. Again, the entire crew thought this was hilarious. No apology whatsoever. I just left the store without my container (nor the parts I was going to buy). Avoid this Murrays location.

I almost didn't go to this location because of the reviews on here; however, I prefer O'Reilys to Autozone and was too lazy to drive further. The service was great. All questions were answered. Appropriate products were suggested for my intended repairs. And all of the gentlemen in there were respectful and working diligently. There was an employee helping a customer in the parking lot, and the guy that rung me up helped me carry my stuff to the car. I choose O'Reillys for their customer service and this location proved to be no exception.

I am astounded at the pure incompetence of the staff here!! I ordered a simple part and was called the same day stating it was in. While working on my brakes I realized I needed more items.. called and was told they had it. Great up to this point.... went in the next morning.. left almost an hour later. First Ryan answered a call and talked for better part of 10 minuted after initially helping me before the call. After he came back he went to find my ordered part which took.. no lie, over 30 minutes!!!! Was told they sent it back. I guess someone changed the first name by one letter which was enough to confuse the hell out of him even with my last name and part number. I then asked for the "stocked" part... clearly my mistake. As after another tail spin search, they do not stock them. At this point I am the retarded one as I called and asked for a very specific oil. They took my info and said they would be able to order it and would get back to me with price and time frame. No call ever came. As it turned out they decided to order it with out calling my, but of course ordered the completely wrong stuff. Bottom line, there is an Autozone a 1/4 mile away that will be getting all of my business from now on.... Just simply ridiculous

Well, a few things. 1) unlike Tom, the last reviewer, the manager has never undressed me with his eyes, good luck with that one buddy, 2) the Autozone he is referring to right down the street is horrible. The customer service is below poor, 3) this is a great O'reilly location. I've been going there for years for stuff for my motorcycle and car, and in the past, trucks. The people there go out of their way for me, explain things well, and make sure I am out of their asap, not standing around waiting at a counter while they are doing inventory (i.e. autozone)

Bought an a/c compressor for my Durango. I purchased a Murray since it had a 3 year warranty vs 1 warranty from others. I bought it, had it put in by a local repair shop, and it was making a grinding noise. I brought it back to repair shop and talked them into putting in another one for me. They did and same thing. Sounded horrible! I call o'reillys to see what they will do for me. They said they MIGHT do some sort of compensation if I have the repair shop take it out so they can "send it in to their 'engineers' to look at. Once they determine what the problem is, they may or may not compensate me on the cost of labor. What was I supposed to drive on in the meantime??? The compressor is a part that the serpentine belt runs on. The vehicle will not run unless you buy some $80 bypass while their "engineers" try to figure out what's wrong. THEN, they MIGHT compensate me for the labor costs. But it WON'T be the $80/hr that I was charged by the shop. It would be like $35-40/hr instead. PLACE IS AN F'N JOKE! THERE ARE PLENTY OF OTHER PART STORES OUT THERE. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!

Please don't shop O'Reilly's Auto Parts. They gave me the wrong alternator, not once but twice. Because of this my radio got fried. When I talked to the District Manager, he said that they would take care or the radio. (After several conversations.) Well, now the check is in and they are only paying for half the radio. Even though I shopped around to find a cheaper radio than the stock radio. There are plenty of other auto parts stores, so avoid O'Reilly's.

BUYER BEWARE!! This used to be a Checker Auto Parts. If you want to be treated like a customer - go to Autozone at 3rd St and Camelback. I purchased tools from OReilly Auto Parts that did not fit my car. I wanted to exchange them for other more expensive tools that would work. The sales girl asked the manager if she could exchange the old for the new. These were never used, clean and new, with the receipt. The manager yells across the store "No! the policy is on the back of the receipt." I read the policy and it is a Limited Warranty Policy about parts. I read the policy on the back and asked the clerk to show me where it stated that I count not return the tools. She could not find it either. I even complained to OReilly Corporate Customer Service. They are worse yet. Don't bother with these guys. Anyplace has to be better than this!

WORST customer service I have ever experienced, and I've purchased from this location before. I come in to get a battery and the Sue, acts like I just ruined her day by walking in the door. Gives me short answers, doesn't even act like she wants to be at work. Proceeds to then be chatty cathy with another employee who walks in the door and they stand there and talk about their weekend and love life while I'm still standing there waiting to be helped. Then when Sue is changing my battery proceeds to slam the tools around in her cart. I have gone to MANY O'Reilly locations throughout the valley and this one is the absolute worst one. What should have been a quick in an out was a 30 minute process.

The store clerk said that while its "technically free", their new policy was he would have to charge me $250 dollars for me to bring it out to their parking lot and upon my re-entry, he would credit it back... I dont know about other banks but this would result in that $250 being "held" on my account for 3-5 business days. I went next door to Valvoline and they were more than happy to scan it for me and we actually had a lengthy conversation about the code and the problem. Upon my second visit, I was going to purchase two brake rotors. To my dismay, after I had already wrote out my travelers check to "OReilly Auto Parts", they called their manager at home and according to him they were not allowed to take it. It was against their "Policy". My credit union had no problem cashing it but I will now go elsewhere to by these parts. I will never shop at an OReilly store again.

Every time I have come here the customer service has been horrible. I've spent at most 15 min waiting to be checked out while the employees dither about doing their own thing. That is an extreme but I will say I have never been helped in a timely manner at this store and I find it much easier to drive to the location in Hopkins or Wall-mart in EP. Despite the fact that this store is much closer to where I live. Also Wall-mart is a lot cheaper as many things at O'Rielly's are marketed up.

I went in for a front caliper bracket bolt for my '97 Lumina. I had an appointment with a mechanic the next morning at 9:00. The man behind the counter was able to figure out exactly what part I needed based on my semi-unclear description. He found that the part was not in stock and offered to have it taken to the store in their morning shipment, which was supposed to arrive at 9:00. When he found out that was when my appointment was, he made a phone call. In the end, he said that while he was reluctant to send business elsewhere, he checked in with the competitor across the street, and they had the part in stock. Okay, wow. I will definitely go back to this store! He went out of his way to ensure I had this part before my appointment and in so doing secured my loyalty.

I called to confirm they had the alternator in stock that I needed, which they did - props to the website for being right - and were very polite and nice on the phone (I think I talked to Brad). When I got there Joey tested my alternator and sure enough it was bad. Then he voluntarily tested the new one just to make sure it was good. I needed a few bolts, nuts and washers for the job and Joey tried to find me some in his "extras" bin but to no avail, though I appreciated the effort to save me some money. Overall a great experience, I will be back for future auto needs.

Agree with the first person, Joey was a dick. AND, he got my part wrong. It was only 3 dollars, so I did not go back. I think it was worth 3 bucks not to have to deal with him again.

Went in to get some replacement clips for a panel of my car that popped out. Even though I was fairly certain I would be able to figure it out on my own, Jim and his colleague (maybe the GM?) went out of their way to replace the clips and pop the panel back in on my car for me. They were friendly, chatty, and made what would normally be an annoying experience pretty enjoyable. They also cut me a deal on the few parts I needed. I definitely recommend!

Had a check engine light on, went in to have the code read. They don't do it for you, they give you the reader and take your drivers license as collateral while you read the code yourself. When I couldn't get the reader to work for me, the counterman asked me "is the check engine light on" in a very demeaning way. I'm not a moron, I wouldn't have stopped in to have this done in 90 degree heat for the fun of it. After determing I wasn't going to get anymore help (they don't take a couple minutes to come out to your car and help you) I took my license, and business, to Pep Boys.

Arrived - 8:15 a.m. the morning of Tuesday Aug, 18th Entered store (no greeting) browsed for a rear turn signal bulb for my vehicle and noticed there was no book or computer to find the type of bulb. The sales associate was with a guest so I thought back to when I purchased my last one and grabbed one to bring to the counter. Waited 2 min after a customer and the associate talked about what parts would work for the issue he had. 2 min is no big deal at all. Next it was my turn and the associate rang me up, and by the attitude he portrayed you would think he was having a bad day. I asked him if the bulb would fit my vehicle and he asked in a bland tone of voice "What make of vehicle do you have" and I told him word for word "20xx (vehicle make)". Without then asking me "what model, trim package, halogen or led" he simply waited staring into the screen as if he expected me to know the next question. after a 30 second awkward silence he said " what model" I told him "(vehicle model)" He said "that will work" and rang me up. I went to the parking lot took out the old bulb and attempted to install the new bulb. It would not fit so in again I go. The experience so far is a 2.5 out of 5 star. I then proceed to the counter and kindly inform him that the bulb was not the correct one. He, without saying a word, comes from behind the counter. grabs the right bulb and while he was ringing me up for the new bulb takes a phone call. Again this is no big deal. He appeared to be the only one working. The way he handled the phone call however is the reason for the poor review. He said (not verbatim) "O'reilly's (Name) speaking" instead of asking if he could kindly wait while he finished ringing me up. He continued the conversation and rested his elbows on the counter like he was getting comfortable to have a long discussion about life with the guy on the other end of the line. After a good 60-90 seconds of standing there waiting I said "Sorry but I am in a hurry here and have to get to work". No response, 10-15 seconds later I said (Verbatim) "I really need to get going" and he had the nerve to put up the the finger as if asking me to wait. I said "Idon't have time for this, can you finish ringing me up?" and then he said "I gotta guy here can you hold?" Then he rang me up for the new bulb and at this time I was pretty upset and didn't want to waste my time trying to return the old bulbs. I left the store with no "Have a good day." or "See you next time. I consider myself a loyal shopper and where I have been treated right I continue to go to. If, for some reason, I have an less than pleasant experience. I give them another opportunity without actually asking for rectification. If I have what I consider a poor experience I will find a new place to shop. Today I had a poor experience. To many competitors in town to not treat every guest like they are worth holding on to.

I waited, and waited, then got helped by the bigger guy. He of course has to take phone call while I am standing there. Hey, I'm the customer standing in front of you! Put the call on hold or let one of the other two people take the call. Oh wait, it was some one he knew so that made it all ok......good thing it was only a five minute call......wont be back, can't imagine why any one else would be either

This store is a bit larger than the one on taraval. The selection here is quite marvelous and I can be sure to count on them when I need brake pad replacements. The staffing here is pretty knowledgeable and kind as well. The only complaint I'd have about this spot is the parking lot layout. Whenever I come here, I always have to honk the horn before making a right turn into the lot through the really narrow pathway. Gets annoying at times since it's like an accident waiting to happen but other than that, it's fine.

This review is the combination of two related part sales gone bad - one at Store #290 (16th & Portrero) and the other at 2500 San Bruno Avenue. It all started when I picked up a set of rear disc brake pads for my '05 Ford Focus ZX4 ST. Finding time to work on my car is tough with a two year old and a hectic work schedule so imagine my disappointment when, upon removing the old brake pads, I discovered that they had sold me the wrong pads. My car was on jackstands, one wheel off, brake caliper almost fully disassembled. I called and explained the issue to the O'Reilly Associate, they said they were sorry, but it gets worse! They informed me that they did indeed sell me the wrong part, but that I could go to their 16th and Portrero Store (2300 16th St # 290) and pick up the correct pads. So I called up their store and had an Associate set aside the part. I begged a ride from my kindly mother-in-law so that I could make it down there before they closed at 9p. Whew! I made it! This time I went bearing the old pads, so that I could `check their work'. They pulled yet another wrong set of pads, but they informed me that I could put in an order for the right set. Yeah, right! What right set?! Oh well, evening wasted! Time to put the whole brake back together with the old pads until I can find time to work on it again. Is this bad inventory software plus criminally stupid employees? I just couldn't tell you...

Had a headlamp out and a young man found the item quickly for a good price ... and then offered to install it - for free. I wasn't expecting this. It took me a good 45 minutes to do it last time ... I am inexperienced so this may make others smirk, but I was dreading doing this the second I found out it was out, especially on New Year's night in 30º in the dark. He got it installed in less than 2 minutes ... and helped me understand what I had been doing incorrectly, and how to install it much more easily. I've gone to this location for a few times, but this really was a relief. I've ordered parts that I later found out I didn't need and they provided a full refund.
