I am a big fan of NAPA auto parts, but their online service is terrible. I ordered3 u-joints, all the same part number. I received 3 u-joints all same part number on the box but two of the three u-joints were not the same NOT EVEN CLOSE! Obviously, someone had repackaged the wrong parts in the wrong boxes. That stuff happens sometimes, I understand that. What made me angry is they charged me $8.00 shipping to return the wrong parts. The deducted it from the amount I originally paid. I figure it is a cheap lesson to learn not to deal with NAPA on line again. I will still buy from their stores in person.

If I could give 0 stars for this review, I would. Their customer support is a joke and do nothing to try and fix their own problems. They don't answer the phone or respond to emails. If they do respond to an email, it will be at least a week later, probably too late to resolve any problems. Never buy from NAPA online!

Don't order from NAPA online!! Placed an order with them - got approval of the order, later received a confirmation of the order and order number, waited a week, no parts; went online to see what happened, and my order was cancelled. Called them, they said that I didn't confirm my order. Basically, tough luck.

Don't order from Napa online. There are many other stores that have efficient modern systems to get you what you need. I recommend a particular one that has a bright orange logo, Starting with the word Auto. They have better prices and a simple modern system. When a company does not have an item in stock, their system will generally reflect that and this is not the case with Napa Online. I ordered a part from another large well known online parts store and it was shipped and at my house in about 3 days. When you order something it is generally boxed and shipped within two days. I placed an order on the 20th and kept checking the website for status which continually said "picking". Finally on the 26th I sent them a support ticket and they got back to me saying the following."Hello, Thank you for shopping with NAPA. We’re sorry to report that we are unable to fulfill your order due to no stock on this item. "..."Thank you for shopping on NAPAonline.com. We apologize for the delay in contacting you about your order. Unfortunately, the part you ordered is not available at this time. They are on factory back-order, and we do not have an estimated delivery date. Your order has been cancelled, and you will not be charged for the item."

Online order service is pretty much worthless. I needed a fuel pump which a local store said they could get by next day if I drove 1/2 hour and paid $170 upfront. I found that I could order online to be sent to that store at no charge and it was in stock. Got an email that my order was successful. Called the store and they told me that MY order would take 5 days and the pump they said they could order overnight was no longer available. So within 15 minutes did someone buy "my" pump? Or did I buy the pump online and they see it as not available? Or does the store not know their own system? No one knows and the online order system helpline tells EVERY CALLER to LEAVE A MESSAGE and they’ll get back to you!

I found the parts I needed at NAPA Online and accepted their offer to sell them to me on September 20, immediately receiving an email confirming the details of my order. On September 22, I received their email stating the following: "Thank you for shopping on NAPAonline.com. We apologize for the delay in contacting you about your order. Unfortunately, the items you ordered are not available at this time. They are on factory back-order, and we do not have an estimated delivery date. Your order has been cancelled, and you will not be charged for the item." They didn't even have the courtesy to specify which items were unavailable, they just unilaterally cancelled the entire order with no further communication. Meanwhile, today, September 23, the full amount of this order is still being held by my bank as a pending transaction. This means I don't have access to these funds in my own bank account, because of the grossly incompetent business model of NAPA Online! There are far, far too many reputable competitors with actual, legitimate offers of sale than to ever go through this again. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH NAPA ONLINE!

I ordered 2 common brake parts on 3/30/10 from napaonline.com. I did not hear anything about my order shipping for two weeks, at which point I called to find that, as in a previous review, they have nobody taking calls. It seems all calls only go to their voice mail, even during business hours. I emailed their customer support telling them to cancel my order immediately and within a couple hours I got an email saying my order shipped and they immediately charged me. A week later and I don't see anything. Two weeks later and still nothing. I check their site, which has a "track" button you can click for your order - of course it leads to a page saying no tracking information available. I email them again after this, week 4, and tell them to cancel the order and refund my money because it obviously has not even shipped. No response. It has now been 4 weeks and I'll be contacting the BBB next week if this hasn't been resolved. Don't use this site, seriously. Scam artists.

Absolutely cannot recommend. The part you order online may or may not be backordered but there is no way to know this. Most parts companies will notify you that the part you want is not in stock before they take your money. Napa will not! Be warned! If this is the case they will not tell you until you call wondering where the hell your part is. Good luck with this also as they do not answere the phone often. You can leave as many messages as you like. It is doubtful that they will call you back. I haven't gotten a return call. They are not very good at replying to emails either. I did receive a cryptic email regarding the status of my order. They used a couple of accronyms that don't appear to apply to my order. This is coincidentally how I found out my part was not in stock. Once I learned of this I called customer service and was lucky enough to actually talk to a representative. The rep told me that they didn't have the part but the manufacturer would get it to them in one day and they would ship the part to me the following day. This has not happened and to date it has been over a week since I ordered the part and it has yet to be shipped. So if you're lucky enough to order a part that is not in stock, the service will not be prompt and you will be lucky if you get the part in 2 weeks. Side note, Autozone can get the same part for me in 3 days. I don't prefer Autozone for much but it appears I made a mistake using Napa this time.

First let me say I love NAPA's stores and their parts, only use Autozone and the like when I need too. That being said their online system could not be any worse! Ordered a carb rebuild kit online because my local retailer said I would get it in the same amount of time as if they ordered it, but it would come directly to my home, so I jumped online. I found the part right away. Their search is excellent with great pictures that certainly help when dealing with classic (old) vehicles that may or may not have the part that it should. So I placed the order at 5:26 pm, missed the shipping deadline for the day so I expected it to go out the next day. Status online did not change so I called customer service, like all others I just got a message on each call so I finally left a message, still waiting for that return call. Sent an email when I did not receive a call back, still waiting for a return message. 2 days after the email I got a shipping "confirmation" but cannot track the package and still have not received it 2 weeks later. Customer support will not talk to me, they refer me back to online service which I now believe to be manned by elves at the North Pole who must be busy getting toys ready for Christmas. I finally ordered the part from someone else and received it promptly. Not holding out much hope of ever getting my money back from these jokers. Too bad too, I now have to find somewhere else to get my part. I will not deal with a company that allows this to continue.

Napa Online sent the wrong part, stalled and delayed its return, two months on has not refunded the money, and responds poorly to contacts, when it responds at all. Its Customer Service phone line takes only voice mail messages, even during its stated business hours. And those voice mails are never responded to.When Napa Online sent the wrong part, I followed the instructions on the invoice, which directed me to a non-existent web page (www.napaonline.com/support/return.html). The invoice explicitly gave me the option of shipping the return directly, or "You may take your return (with invoice) to your local participating NAPA AUTO PARTS store." In either case, you had to first obtain an RGA (Returned Goods Authorization number. No phone number was given. I wrote the e-mail address provided several times and received no response. I then went on www.napaonline.com and used the automated "contact us" section, asking for an RGA and saying that I wished to return the item locally, since the box had been damaged in shipment and was no longer useable. I received an e-mail telling me I should really ship it instead and promising a UPS label to be forthcoming. I responded to the e-mail, but both addresses in the "From" line (vernell_washington@genpt.com on behalf of NAPAOnline_Customer_Support@genpt.com) were bogus and the e-mail bounced. Going back to the web site, I again asked for an RGA. I was sent a link to a UPS label. The link was broken or bogus: the UPS web site said no such label existed. Again e-mails to Napa Online. Again, ignored. Finally a response. Again my request for an RGA was ignored and a UPS link provided. This one worked, so in exasperation I bought a new box and used the label to return the product. That was on 27 November. A month later, no refund had been received. I sent several e-mails enquiring into the status, but received no word other than an automated response promising that a customer service representative would be in touch. None has. During this time, I repeatedly tried to contact them on their Customer Service line (1-877-805-6272). Even during their stated business hours, the phone reached only a recording inviting me to leave a message and someone would get back to me. Despite dozens of messages left, not a single one has yet been responded to.As of 11 January 2008, no refund has been received. Napa Online's e-mail responses were always slow and sporadic; since I shipped the item back, they have ceased altogether. I cannot get anyone in the company to speak or correspond with me now that they have their merchandise -- and my money -- in their control."

Great experience here. There was a delay on my order but they let me know they backordered the parts and asked if I wanted to wait. I said yes and a few days later, I got an email saying the order shipped. The packaging was great and the support people I traded emails with were great as well.

The Napa in flagler Colorado is one of the worst in the world as far as customer service. I called them with questions regarding a "Cummins" engine and Brian, cussed at me ( dropping the f-bomb) on several occasions, telling me that I didn't know what I was doing or talking about. I hate to talk bad or complain about such a great franchise, as great as Napa's over one incident, but the verbal abuse I received was quite severe.Hopefully he can take a " Customer Service" course and treat older people better.

Next time I will use one of their competitors, probably CarQuest. I don't like to deal with businesses that lie because they think they can get away with it. I was sold the wrong merchandise. Napa Auto Parts represented they had what they didn't, then substituted a bad match. When I tried to get a refund, they cheated me. Yuck.

Again stopped in here and the service was poor all I needed was anti seize compound the cashier told me they didn't gave it and go to the back counter And they will order it. What!  You don't carry anti seize compound that's such a basic item at ALL auto parts stores sorry you didn't want to do your job

After the third Napa starter (Lifetime Warranty) failed in my truck, I went to Napa in Renton, WA (the main branch store) to purchase another starter.  "Unfriendly, rude, doesn't like his job" Paxton, who has helped me before, had to sell me a re manufactured starter because they were out of stock (all stores in the area also out of stock - "big red flag") but I could keep my lifetime warranty.  This was highlighted on my most recent receipt.  I had all my receipts with me back to '09.  I replaced the starter which indeed fixed the problem again and the truck started right up!  After, boxing the bad starter back up, I returned to Napa to get my full refund (lifetime warranty right??).  I put the bad starter on the counter and explained the situation to the manager of the store (Mick)!  He started to question the return/refund "well, we don't have starters fail like this"  "this starter is hot"  So, here we go.....I didn't argue with him and was completely professional about the issue.  He took forever to review my receipts and made me wait for at least 15 minutes, leaving the area and came back to the counter and said, "there you go" full refund for you.  I said thanks and went to the cashier to get  the refund and the amount was incorrect.  There was an $18.40 difference between what I paid for the starter that day and the refund.  I then, had to go back to Mick and have the refund adjusted so I thought.  He first told me I would have to wait as he was helping another customer!  WOW!  Once, I went back to the counter, he again, made me wait, left the area several times, and said he lost my receipt.  Mick acted so rude, unprofessional, and just awful to deal with!  After waiting multiple times in the parts line and the cashier line I had been there over an hour to receive my refund I told Mick I would take the refund he originally gave me!  This was just the worst experience in a store I have had in a very long time!  Napa Renton stole $18.40 from me did not honor my lifetime warranty!  I have spent thousands of dollars on parts at Napa, but have to say our relationship has now ended!  I will never return to the Renton Napa or any other Napa ever again.  The customer service and the quality of their parts is severely lacking!  Goodbye Napa!

Previously I wrote that service is fast.  I had never been to this Napa when more than two customers were waiting to check out.  Service getting your parts is fast, but I have never seen more than one employee on the register.  So, if there are six people in line, it's going to be a long wait, which stinks if you're in a hurry.

Awesome. They had what I needed. Back when I had a fourteen year old car, I found myself needing to buy lots of stupid things. Windshield wipers, tail lights, blinker bulbs, etc. Napa always had them and service was usually great. Once they got the bulb-type wrong and happily took back the part I'd opened and tried to install in my car.

napaonline.com
3
@

No problems and speedy service.  In and out in minutes.  They had the bulbs we needed in-stock at (I guess) a good price.  (When was the last time I bought tail light bulbs... 1980s?)Even better, we bought a tool for the special tail light screws (6-point star type, not Allen wrench type) and ended up not needing it so we took it back and got refund super easy, no hassles.  Location a bit weird if you aren't headed by there (not far from IKEA) but it is like a IKEA-size warehouse of parts, so I assume you'll never (OK, rarely) encounter a time where they don't have what you needed.

Ordered two sets of NGK spark plugs for my Acura integra GS. Napa sold me plugs for a GS-R. My car has been sputtering on and off for about 3 years and my mechanics couldn't figure out why. Buyer beware! Napa Auto is incompetent and they suck when it comes to making exchanges for new unused parts.

The people here actually know their store. When it comes to a parts place, that is becoming rare. With most places if the computer doesn't say it, they don't know it, but here they are on top of it.The store, itself is on th smallish side, not the best selection on none parts stuff, but I haven't been disappointed yet when it comes to something that actually goes into a car.Call ahead and they will have you in and out in no time.

So i found myself here after waiting for road side assitance for 2 hours. I went in to get a battery. I didnt have any of the tools nessacery to take my old battery out. Kenneth ( sorry for the misspelling) Totally helped me out. He was patient with all of my questions and he even took the old battery out and installed the new one in the hot sun. He was so nice and went above and beyond to make sure that I got the right part and that it was installed correctly. Kudos to him. I really appreciate the service.

The only thing saving this from one star is i have to give the clerk on duty credit and i didn't have much time. I was in there for 20 minutes, checked the whole storefront in 7 and waited. The clerk eagerly helping every customer to the best of her ability, meanwhile 2 other employees were further back in the employees only section, one quite literally twiddling his thumbs. All i needed to know was if i could get a replacement rearview mirror and its cost! That poor clerk is probably still on customer #5 as I'm typing this thanks to at least one lazy coworker.

I boycotted this place 6 years ago and am proud that I've never been back! For nearly a year I frequented this store a lot as a young mechanic in tech school. One purchase I made was for a new battery for my own car. Six months later that battery was junk! It wouldn't turn the engine over and wouldn't take a charge. Good thing batteries have warranties right? Mine still had years left on the free replacement warranty. Well, it seems "warranty" doesn't mean anything at all to NAPA. I took my bad NAPA battery in to swap it out for a good one. Clerk: "We can't warranty this battery." Me perplexed: "What do you mean?" Clerk: "We don't warranty these batteries." I'm not playing any tricks. This was a regular car battery for my old Dodge. Me: "This is a NAPA battery. It says NAPA right here. This is the warranty right here. This is the date of the battery. I bought it from this very store 6 months ago." Clerk: *shrug* "yeah..." Me: "and you're trying to tell me you can't warranty this battery?" Clerk: "Yeah." I thought the guy must be nuts so I asked to speak to a manager. The manager comes up and I'm thinking Oh good! A logical human being who can quickly and easily resolve this matter. Manager: "Can I help you?" Me: "Yeah, this battery is bad, still very much under warranty, and I need a new one." Manager: "We can't do that." Me bewildered: "Wha--umm... What do you mean? You're saying you can't honor your own warranty?" Manager: "Well, we just don't do that." They wouldn't give me a reason at all. I was searching for a spec of logic. Me: "Alright, so what are my options then?" Manager: "Well I can sell you a new battery!" he said with a smile. Me: "Yeah, and how much is that going to cost me" Manager: He looks over at the wall of batteries, "Uhh I think that one's about $115." I grabbed my junk battery and walked out. I had spent over a hundred dollars on a battery that actually lasted less than 6 months and had nothing to show for it but a core to go get a new Walmart battery. Walmart stands behind their warranties. Oreilly has made thousands upon thousands of dollars from my business ever since NAPA did this. And in these 6 years, Oreilly has never ever failed me, not even once. I advise my friends and family to avoid NAPA and I recommend Oreilly.

I went here to buy a pin for my mustang's door hinge. Got grilled for trying to buy a part that didn't exist for my car. Since the hinges are not made to be serviced, the salesman gave me the hardest time with selecting the pin I needed, and almost refused to sell me the part once I made my selection. Threatened to walk out the door without paying, before he snapped back to reality and rang me up for $3.78. Never before has any auto parts store clerk refused to sell me a part I wanted! The pin works perfect still, by the way. The bracket needed to be drilled to the right size to fit it.

Purchased 5 quarts of Mobil One Oil - more than needed, to qualify for the $12 rebate they had on the display. Turns out thier location does not qualify for rebates from Mobil One, so they used it as false advertising to sell more oil. Spoke to Manager Dave who did not offer to help out in any way except for "I guess they are right as we do not buy oil directly from Mobil One." POOR SERVICE - WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. We went over on saturday to buy some tools to take a car brake apart. There was a lady there at the time it seems she was busy taking care of an order for a customer on the phone. There was another cashier named Alex who wasn't too busy with anything. We asked if he could find help us find some stuff for us he said "I'm on Break" and continues to stay at the computer surfing. So we just try to help ourselves to find the things we needed to get. Later the lady who was on the phone told him to clock in and he still didn't bother to help. No one should be ignored like that and be told that you are on break. If you are on the floor on break either help out or get out. Especially when you already got told to clock in do your job to help others who need you because you are the expert in your job.

In an unfamiliar area, I called in on a Sunday to this store and the person was so helpful (I think his name was Matt). Great little shop. The shop doesn't look very big once you walk in, but there are lots of inventory in the back. I bought a fuel pump ($157) and the counter guy was very friendly. Well, I was sold the wrong part, didn't fit or match the old one. Pretty annoying, but not a huge deal. I go back to return it and the guy who helped me was the epitome of rude and bad customer service. Told me all about how he couldn't accept the return because he "doesn't sell used parts." I assured him that it wasn't the correct part like I was told, and he said he didn't want to "take one on the chin." Not sure what that means but it seems pretty sexual, and I was uncomfortable and promptly left. I still have the fuel pump and am still missing $157 or so. Not to mention that corporate contact wasn't very helpful either. 0/10 will be avoiding NAPA like the plague.

great service! This is a little hole in the wall shop that more than you would think. They have a very fun and smart staff. I think they are all ASE certified because they were right on the ball for my parts! I thought my 05 F150 was shot because the engine was missfiring on 4 out of my 8 cylinders. The counterman checked for recalls and TSB's and found that the 5.4 triton has an ignition coil problem, and that the spark plugs fowl horrably. He sent me to a good shop for the work because I guess the plugs can accually weld themselves in the head. All I can say is thank you Napa. you guys are the greatest!!!

This place sucks and is dirty. Don't purchase anything because if you need to make a return due to defective merchandise they will try to argue with you that none of their products are ever defective and you are the one who is wrong. Avoid this NAPA Auto Parts if you expect decent customer service and help.

Customer service is trash. I don't know his name but he was Caucasian and had no intentions helping me out in finding a vacuum tube for my air intake. I ended up going to Franks hardware and they gladly helped me, kudos to Franks for actually helping me. Then last week Sunday I needed a touch up ain't for my car. I told the painter that I need 10 ounces of paint. So he made it himself. Point is I felt rushed when he was trying to sell it to me. He literally said "are you going to buy it or what because I got a million things to do" I was disgusted by that so I just left. If you don't like your job don't take it out on the customer.

This is a long one because it upset me a lot. Also, fair warning, I don't know technical terms that were used but I do know what the salesperson was saying...so if there are wrong paint terms in here...sorry. Went here with my boyfriend a few days ago because he is doing a pretty big paint job on is car and knew that they mix paint there. He's a mechanic who takes pride in his car so, of course, he was asking some questions to make sure that he knew what to do and that he had everything that he needed. When we first got there, the salesperson seemed nice and knowledgeable but his mood quickly changed as the questions started to come out. They weren't tedious questions at all...they were the standard "what do you recommend" questions. He told us that he didn't know much about paint (odd...seeing that you are selling it...) so after that, the recommendation questions stopped. After he mixed the paint, my bf asked if it was a water based paint...which the salesperson said "good question, i don't know. maybe? I don't think so"....not too confident in that answer, huh? Then came questions about clear coat. He gave us a clear coat to which my bf read the bottle and said that he didn't think it was clear coat. the salesperson answered back with "okay well we sell it as clear coat". A few minutes later, he says "oh wait..that's not clear coat, this is", and brings back a totally different bottle. The last straw was when my bf asked a question about mixing (or something like that..i tend to drift off when we're at car places...but the guys response QUICKLY drew me back in) and the salesperson INTERRUPTED his question and said "look, i told you already that I don't know about paint and you're asking me all these questions. Just tell me what you want and I'll give it to you". After that, he just bought what he thought he needed, left, and went to another Napa where they were much more helpful. Icing on the cake? We found out when we got home that the guy at the New Bruns Napa gave us less than we asked for but still charged us for how much we asked for.

One of the worst experiences at an auto parts store. I don't know what it is about the Napa stores in this area but they always have horrible customer service with moody and empty-headed people. I originally bought two upper control arms for my 1993 Integra. I received one upper control arm that was in their Napa "quality parts" box and another that was also in the same box. This was ok so far, as that was what I ordered. I came to find out however that the parts were not what I ordered. One part was the actually "premium" napa brand, while the other was a cheaper aftermarket that looked completely different. I brought this up the first time, and it took some explanation but they ordered me a new set. I go to pick up the set and it was the same mistake. It makes no sense to me because the parts I ordered and payed for on the receipt are exactly the same, however I clearly recieved two different types of parts. When I went in the second time, It was ALL MY FAULT. Apparently I'm to blame for their confusing mix up, and the clerk got upset with me because I couldn't figure out why THEY were screwing things up, and that I couldn't completely tell them what was going on. Well duh, I don't work at the warehouse. Anyway, I would clearly show him that they are two completely different parts (it's quite obvious) and they would refuse to believe me for some reason. Eventually the wrong part was reordered and I'm going to pick it up today (hopefully). Even if they end up fixing their mistake this was the worst experience with customer service I have EVER had. A side note, most of the clerks are quite old and one kept calling me "kid". This really pissed me off as I'm a 25 year old military veteran and I've done my service to my country, I think I deserve the word "sir" just as I use it towards them. Really, it's just a bunch of old, upset, curmudgy workers that will only care if you're a middle-aged man with ranch boots ordering parts for your bronco. I also am surprised someone with an AE86 reviewed this store with stellar results. Either way, go to other auto parts stores, there is no reason to suffer the headache.

I called to inquire matching color paint in spray can form. The Customer service clerk advices me to bring in the piece I wanted matched and they can do their best attempt to eye ball the color to match. I was ok with this. I walked in the store 20 mins later and was told to wait. When I finally got service the clerk's first words is I can't do that. We cant match it, your going to have to go somewhere else. I explained I was asked to bring in the piece I wanted matched. He then guiede me 3 miles west of his location, completely out of my way to Quality paints, where he forgot to mention they closed at 12pm on sat. I this was at 1pm he gave me directions. So, thank you for the tour, I'm still looking to complete my project.

Called regarding pricing for brakes. Steve asked if I knew what I needed, I said I would need the "whole setup". I obviously don't know much about cars which when I say the "whole setup" I'd hoped he'd actually look up the information for what I would need for my car and give me some suggestions. Instead, he was very rude and said, "Every part is separate, you need to tell me exactly what you need!" I was so taken aback by his tone of voice I just said brake pads. At this point he gave me the price and then hung up. This place won't get my money. What a jerk.

Recently had to replace a belt. No big deal other than because of traffic 45 minute drive one way. Replace the belt about 1/2 hour later the new belt would not stay on. This time took tractor down and had it service. Made comments about the belt and asked about a refund $35.00. Collins, said will look into that. Pick up the tractor, and found a charge $35.00 for another belt. Collins would NOT make good, before I left, told them had no problem in contacting Corporate. I did so, Corporate would NOT refund, stand behind their product. Very unhappy want to let others know and have no problem of taking my business else where! Russell Christie 593-9464

I stopped in on a Wednesdays to get passenger cv axle for my truck. They said I could pick it up Friday. I showed up at 1:00 and they had the driver side. The old man behind the counter said they had one in Bellevue and then walked off to order lunch. I left and checked around the closest place that had one was 50th and Center so I went back into Napa. A young flaky guy behind the county asked how he could help I told him what happened and asked if they could get the part for Saturday. His responce was leave your number if I get around to it I will call you. but he wouldn't know till after 2:00. Most the daylight would be gone by then. So I ended up driving to 50th and Center. I didn't get back to the truck till 4:30 Friday night. Thank you for the help Napa.

I was not pleased with the service from Steve tonight when looking up fuel pumps.. I was specific with my "right side" or "pass side door" detail that was asked for and was only given one option at $646.99.. I called back a second time with the part number I saw online and that was avaliable at $367.59.. he said that he could order it but was not showing in his system and he had no idea what it was for.... but would be glad to order it. Called the St.Michael Store and he said that $646.99 one was for the opposite side left side door.. and there was the Napa Brand Fuel Pump avaliable at $367.59 for the "right side" in the price I could afford just like I saw online... So just another prime example of know it all Steve knowing it all and not being able to help.. Thanks Steve. Rob at this store however is Great!

This Napa auto parts store is associated with the Napa on New Circle Rd Lexington, KY. Three different times I have called the Napa on New Circle Rd about parts for my older model Toyota, and three times I have not been able to find someone who knows how to order parts. Every time I call they treat me like I am stupid. I am now convinced that they do not want my business. This review has to do with the machine shop that is connected to this NAPA. I brought in some rotors that needed to be turned. When i walked through the front door towards the counter there was one of the two gentleman that I recognized, from previous business there, talking to a customer on the phone. I had two rotors that I had wiped down very well before bringing them in, and i gently sat them on the counter to rest my hands. I still had my hands on them as they were only barely resting on the edge on the counter while I sat at on the bar stool. When the machinist turned around, and while still listening to the phone, he rudely motioned me to get them off the counter top. I immediately took them off the counter and rested them in my lap. About 10 seconds after that, his phone call ends and he tells me to set my "stuff over there" with out pointing or even looking at where he wants me to set it. He walks over to a rack that's sitting by the front door. This rack is covered in shop rags and is covered in, what looks to be, other customers nice shiny engine components. He pats his hand very hard and loud on the top of the rack and says, not once, but twice to put the rotors up hear. After all that, I still cant believe I didn't walk out right then. I then proceeded to ask him if he thinks a small groove can be taken out of one of the rotors. I pretty much assumed before coming in that its was too bad and would need replacing. After I asked the question he immediately responded, in a rude tone once again, that he would have to measure it first before he could tell me. I was completely fine with that and figured that was probably what he would have to do anyways. After that rude response I grabbed my rotors and left. The time before this I needed them to do some work for me, pressing a axle bearing on the shaft, I had dealt with another gentlemen who was very polite and never talked down to me like I was ignorant about everything. I'm old enough to know that i don't know everything but you don't need to talk to me like I'm a child. I hope the gentleman i dealt with was having a bad day and doesn't treat every customer this way. That is a terrific was to loose a lot of business. I myself will most likely never go back there again for anymore work. EXTREMELY unprofessional to act that way towards a customer!

Bubba and the gang at Napa in Beebe are absolutely top notch. It's not often in this day and age (2015) that you still get small town, mom and pop style service yet that is exactly what they deliver day in and day out. They go the extra mile to find what you're looking for and find it at the best price. Need something today? They'll do everything they can to get it. I would gladly pay extra for this kind of service but it's all part of the package here.

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS JUST HORRENDOUS!!! I'm not one to play the race card, but in this case it was just obvious. This is not your typical Chain store with unknowledgeable sales reps, This a REAL parts house, Your greeted as soon as you come through the door, you'll notice no go carts, lawn chairs or other assorted crap . They sell parts! High quality stuff that they stand behind . and I can honestly say every part I've bought from them has been spot on correct. The guys/gals behind the counter leave and breath parts , No flunky dropout who doesn't want to be there. The may seem more expensive but the quality of the parts and the Level of service you get are well worth it. it s the only place I'll buy parts period.

Everytime I go into this place for something, I get treated like a girl at the service counter who needs headlight fluid... What does it matter if the truck I am working in is 2wd or 4wd or not? Im just getting a window regulator not a overdrive band for the transmission... These "employees" are underqualified techs at most -Old parts guys that have trouble cross referencing parts out of a book, and use a computer to fumble their way through. You'd have better luck searching rock auto for what you need. I was able to pull up part numbers on my phone faster than them. "Do you guys carry moog or equivilent?" "No surrrr, we only have napa brand!" "So no denso or acdelco?" "NO WE CARRY ONLY NAPA PARTS! DIDN'T YOU HEAR ME???"

How old are their contacts? 20+ years old? Because the place he suggested was no longer in existence. The second time i went there i needed a part looked up because i had no idea what i needed. Wrong part. Not even close. Had to come back and return it. So dont even bother going here. The ciggarette smoke has obviously gotten to their heads.

To make a long story short, I bought an expensive battery ($159) from this store in March. It died a few months later. The manager explains to me: "Bring in the receipt then I'll do a test on it, then I'll charge it overnight and then test it again." In other words, I don't trust your dealer's diagnosis, or more likely, I want to make you jump through a bunch of hoops. I just want to drive my car again, not spend 48 hours testing a stinking battery. I DO NOT recommend this place. I wish there was an option for zero stars. Very patronizing and rude.

I needed an HIR2 bulb for my headlight according to my driver's manual. I walked in and started looking for it. The kid with the holes in his ears behind the counter asked me if I needed help finding something. I told him what I needed and he started asking me about the make and model of my car. He told me he thought I needed a D2 bulb. I told him the driver's manual said I needed an HIR2 bulb. He told me I better go to the dealer because he's never heard of that kind of bulb. I googled it when I got to my car and found that several stores in the area sell them. Thanks for the help, punk! NAPA might want to educate their employees about headlights. I have since discovered that the HIR2 is required in several cars people drive today!

I'll make this short and sweet. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Period. The MGR with the mustache is always crabby and not friendly, it feels like he's always bothered. Today when I call for an oil cooler line, the 1st guy doesn't know what I'm talking about so he passes the phone to another co worker, Well that ok, people always need to learn stuff. This new guys say he has the same car (FYI I have a '96 Impala SS, which is a bad ass car, not many around because Chevy only made them for 2 years) anyway saying he has the same car, THEN tells me he never heard of the part either. All I know is that any Impala enthusiast just KNOWS this sort of thing. I had to put him on hold to Google the part number quick. I tell him the part number, he looks it up - YEP they have it! This is just one example of many. SO frustrating - I will NEVER step in another NAPA. That's all. Save yourself the headache, O'Reilly Auto parts is a few blocks away people.

This place is usually helpful and friendly, but you need to be cautious with one particular employee who has control issues. Bottom line is that no single employee is greater than store policy or covered warranties, so my advice is to let the neocon exhaust himself, then demand the very service that is indebted to you as a customer.

WOMEN: DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! RUDE, RUDE, RUDE! I walked in to do an exchange on a defective AC valve (and let me just say i know a little about cars, have worked for Toyota service center for years, although not as a mechanic). Said hello to the two men behind the counter and they both just stared at me with disdain. Said I'd like to do an exchange to one of the men and he turned around and walked away!! So the other man says "we don't have those in yet, you'll have to go somewhere else." WTF?!?! After helping another customer was finally asked what I needed, the man checked the sales floor then said it needed to be brought down he. Helped two more people while I waited before realizing my product hadnt come , then finally went up and got it. The spray he grabbed had a broken handle. I hated my experience so much I am just going to transfer it into a different container instead of going back. I was ignored, several times and felt as if I was putting.this man.out just by asking for assistance, which is his job. My boss and I went to this store Sat. 4/11 only to be met with some very rude staff.I wanted to buy some ear protection so I went to the counter with my purchase and told the young man I wanted to buy them and he replied; "I'm on break" and I would have to wait.My boss was wanting to buy a steering pump for one of our fleet vehicle's and the older man that helped him was rude and had no idea of the question's he was being asked and even said so.This is to bad because we have 10 vehicle's and would like to be able to buy are product from one place being so close to our company.I guess that saying;"Napa know how" flew out the window at this particular retail/warehouse! and I can only assure you we will never be back again and will definitely spread the word on how crappy our experience was!!!

Over the Easter weekend, I was installing a keyless entry system on my vehicle and thought I needed a pair of relays to drive the door locks. There is not a NAPA close to my house, so I purchased a set from Auto Zone. Monday evening, I realized I had purchased the wrong style of relay, so on Tuesday the 22nd, I went to this NAPAA location during lunch to purchase the correct relays. There were two EP-27's left, and one of the packages was open. Not enough to make it obvious, but enough to remove the relay from the packaging. I was actually happy about this, because it meant that I could look at the pin-outs on the relay and make sure it was the correct type. The gentleman that checked me out (I do not recall his name, but he is the assistant manager, and we will talk about him again here shortly) may or may not have noticed the package was open; I thought I saw him fumble at one point as it tried to come out of the package, but I could be mistaken. On the 23rd I returned the first set of relays I purchased to Auto Zone. I only mention this because I want to describe the experience. I informed the clerk at Auto Zone that I had not needed the relays, but I had opened one of them. He asked if it had been installed, to which I said it had not, at which point he gave the relay a once over, and took my word and accepted the opened relay for return. That same night, after doing some more research, I realized I didn't need any relays for my project after all, and decided to return them to NAPA the next day. On the 24th I went back to the same NAPA store to return the set of relays I purchased from you, and was "helped" by the same assistant store manager that had checked me out when I bought them, and I was expecting a similar, pleasant experience to the one I had at Auto Zone. I showed him both relays and explained one was opened, but had been that way when I purchased it, and had not been used. To say his demeanor became somewhat cooler would be an understatement; It was clear to me that he saw me as suspect, and that I was trying to pull something over on him. He informed me that he could not accept an opened relay, and again I explained that it had been opened before I purchased it and that I had not used it. He then examined the relay *very* closely, and then went to the back for a minute. When he returned, he informed me that he had sold it to me, it had certainly not been open when he did, and he would not accept it for return. The implication of his statement was clear, and to be fair I have no doubt that there are people that would try something like returning a dead replaced relay. But in this case, he obviously remembered selling it to me, and the relay has absolutely no sign of damage or of being installed. I probably should have asked for the manager, but I was so put off by the gentleman's statement that I simply asked for the refund for the unopened item, and left. That store is quite close to work for me, but from now on, I'll drive a little further up the street to Auto Zone, where I know I'll get good service.

Jesus christ, just wasted a whole day on a 1994 dodge stealth because there not smart enought to know that turbo models have different rotors. Damn napa computer costed me a bout 30 minutes of driving plus i have to wait a week to get the right rotor off ebay. Thee is no difference between a abs rotor and non-abs rotor, but there is a difference between turbo all wheel drive and FWD. Damn, fix your comuputer and then fix the throw out bearing for the AWD model because you probable keep brining up the FWD model and in the end the customer gets screwed and the computer error never ges fix....so fix it.

Wow!!! Im from Kansas City Mo and Napa has always been my go to store. While in Vegas visiting with family I decided to patronize this particular store for its convenient location. The two gentlemen working on this day seemed to be more concerned with the customer phone calls coming in rather than the customers standing before them. After standing in front of these two gents for nine minutes without an apology for the wait or the standard exceptable customer service phrase "sorry for the wait Sir, I will be right with you" it was obvious the simple solution would have been one to handle the customers on the phone while the other serviced the customers within the establishment. Long story short,,,,, I felt neglected, walked out feeling less than whole and went across tropicana ave to O'rielly's to purchase my auto part at a decent price without the long wait time and excellent customer service from Juan.... I will continue patronize my Napa stores in my hometown for the excellent customer service and pricing. However when in Vegas visiting Family and if in need of an auto part/parts, I will make my purchases with the guys across the street.........

I called in advance and spoke with a guy regarding the work I needed from the machine shop. The guy was confident they could help, so I drove there from golden (50 minute drive) and walked in. I was directed toward Jose who was rude, unhelpful, and it seemed deliberately non responsive. I eventually left without getting the work done. For what it's worth, Jose has gotten a lot of these bad reviews so it seems pretty common. For reference, I needed a ball joint extracted from a steering knuckle from a Subaru Outback.

This store is located at the intersection of Church Road and Lancaster Avenue, on the SE corner. The location indicated on the map is off by several hundred yards. I ordered parts for two old German-make cars here earlier this year. They got it right on the first try. Thank you.

Things have changed a lot since I worked on my own car up until the 1980's. The folks at this store have always been helpful to me in both finding parts and installing them. I once got a bad bulb, but that was not their fault, and most other purchases have worked well. I may pay a few pennies more at this store, but the customer service makes it worth it.

Ordered an oil filter on line and had it shipped to store. Employee called me to confirm order, Dave I believe, and was extremely rude. He told me I had to come in and pick up the filter the day it arrived in store or he would not order it. I ended up ordering a K and N filter on line. I live in Algonac and i will never and I mean NEVER set foot in this store as long as I live.

The only reason I'll go back to this store is to return the product I bought. I wanted to hardwire the new dashcam that I got. I no nothing of the process, but my friend said he'd help me with it and told me something that I needed to get. A little cable that goes to the fuse box. I found 2 at this store, different sizes, and brought them both to the counter. I stood there for about 30 seconds until one of the three staff members there said anything. They were just standing there. A fourth was helping a customer. I asked the staff member about the differences in the two products and which one I should get. He said 'I don't know'. I asked again, explaining the situation more thoroughly. Same response. Not once did he ask someone else for help. Not once did he actually try to help me. I'm sure the information that I needed was present in that store, but he couldn't be bothered to find it. So of course, I bought the wrong one, and here we are. How this person has a job at an auto parts store is beyond me. Again, I'll only go back to return the item.

Came in needing tools to repair a Ford Expedition with a well documented problem. The Staff where very knowledgeable about it and managed to point me in the right direction. I even managed to save money. As I am relatively new at my mechanic profession time and money are a major factor in my decision making. Add to that the fact that I live outside of the city, it becomes a major part of my day looking for parts and services. Dealing with customers can't be easy as not all of them are experienced and knowledgeable of parts and procedures. I think Napa does a great job, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

I wouldn't recommend going to this place for several reasons (please read all the way to the end). I don't live in El Paso but I go there periodically for work. Last time I was there I had to get some work done on my Van and cargo trailer. When I googled "Napa auto care el paso, TX" it showed their correct phone number but an incorrect address in west El Paso, about 20min (one-way) out of the way. So it was after 40min of unnecessary driving and wasting time and gas that I finally found the place. I found out later that the wrong address was a closed location that had been closed for over a year, so there's no excuse for not updating this on google for the customer's sake. They have since fixed this, but I should have taken this as the first warning of how this place is managed, and hence not get the work done there. However I was in a hurry and didn't have time to look elsewhere. After this it's a long narrative of 2-3 weeks of BS that I went through with this place so I will just summarize. I had to go back 3 or 4 times because of the work not being done right, especially on my cargo trailer. Some of the problems consisted of the dust caps and seals falling off the bearing assembly 20min after I drove off the property, putting WAY too much bearing grease in so it periodically spilled out for weeks after making a mess, and other rookie mistakes like this. I had already paid the money however and didn't want to pay again at another place. Then the last time I was there, and I got the last thing inspected and "re"-fixed, I asked them to check the air in the trailer tires and put more air in if necessary. According to specs, the trailer tires called for 50psi, which seemed high. I talked to Oscar, their mechanic, and he also agreed that it sounded high. However the specs called for it so I said fill them to 50psi but NO MORE. A couple days later I checked the cold tire pressure and Oscar put 60psi in each tire, 10psi more than the maximum called for which is bad for the tires. So I had to un-air each tire back down to their proper PSI. I actually started to suspect that this was done on purpose as I had been back so many times and complained about so many problems, I think they were resentful and it may have been a passive-aggressive way of getting back at me. This of course is the opposite of how it should be. A well-run operation will first of all apologize for all your inconvenience, and then try to offer some sort of compensation (even if it's just a small discount) to make up for your wasted time. They did none of this. Anyway that was my experience with this place. Just passing on the warning to the next guy!

If I could give them less than one star, I would. PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! I bought a car off Craigslist and turns out it had major issues. I took it to this place, and they were like "cool, no problem -- we got this." Two weeks go by and I hear nothing, so I call like, "dude, where's my car?" They tell me they had to wait for a part. Cool. Another two weeks pass. I call again, and they say they had to send it to Albuquerque for some "special diagnostic" that they can't do at this location. By now I've been a month with no vehicle and my friends are getting tired of driving me to work. I start calling and asking for updates every day. For the next SIX WEEKS I was hung up on, put on hold for an hour at a time, and told they were busy and would call me back, and of course, never did. After TEN WEEKS with no vehicle, I finally went in person where they couldn't hang up on me or put me on hold. My car was at a dealership getting different work done. Another week goes by and they finally give my car back to me, nearly three months after I took it to them, charged me $700, and had the audacity to give me receipts for the gas they put in it, charging me for that too. Did I mention they gave it back after nearly three months without fixing the original problem? It still would not pass inspection. AND they broke my seat while they had it, so it is stuck fully leaned back and I'm too short to be driving around with gangster swag going on, so I've got to get that fixed now too. The day after I got it back, I took it to a different shop that managed to fix in less than one full day what Napa couldn't manage to fix in eleven weeks. Unless you have a free taxi to take you everywhere for a few months and enjoy flushing money down the toilet for a bunch of lazy jackasses to store your car for you and pretend they're fixing it, DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

Lousy service, couldn't check fuel filter with OEM number or the OEM manufacturer. Part looked identical, they measured a couple dimensions with calipers and they were the same, but couldn't get filter to stop leaking when connected in fuel line. Either part is different or crappy workmanship; either way wouldn't take part back.

Reserved brake pads online after the website showed them as being in-stock at the 16th St location in Boise. Went to pick up the pads at noon and they weren't at the store. I even received confirmation that this store had them (see email below). Only store that has them is the Fairview location over by Cloverdale. These stores aren't even close to each other. The 16th St. store can get them, but not until later in the evening. To top it off, the notes in my NAPA account said I was called and notified. Even though they never called. Thank you for visiting NAPAOnline. Your reservation has been sent to your local NAPA AUTO PARTS store. Please print your confirmation and bring it to the store with you. On August 4,2014, I purchased an ATK re-manufactured engine from this NAPA auto parts store. I was assured the engine had a 3-year, unlimited mileage warranty when I bought it, I still have the warranty papers. The original purchase price for the re-manufactured 305 was $1333.29 plus sales tax. The engine has leaked from the rear-main seal since day one, and when I approached Dyson's NAPA about it, they informed me that they would not honor their warranty due to not giving them the vin# to my vehicle, which is not stated in any of my warranty paperwork, nor was I informed of this on purchase of the product. They did not try to work with me in the least, simply giving me the number to Matt Dyson. Even if I do get some resolution out of Matt Dyson, I would recommend not buying anything at NAPA. The hassle is too much, and way too many times their help has put me on hold getting charged $.10 a minute on my phone. But to even be told they won't honor a warranty is completely out of line for any type of legitimate business. As far as I'm concerned, they are crooks and should be arrested.

Hard to believe most of these reviews here. I work on cars all the time, except for alignments, I think I've gone to a repair shop maybe twice in my life and 50+ cars history. I go mostly to the downtown or old / new overland sites. I have never had anything but a satisfactory experience at either one that I can recall. I often go to NAPA (despite being a little further) because when I bother checking, in general the prices are a little better than O'Rs and AZ, they almost always have stock of what I want ( or I wait overnight for odd part... like I expected!), they often have range of parts ( NOT all parts are equal ... quality costs but junk is out there for the masses. I just like them better, never mind the "cuter" presentation at O'Rs / AZ. I have more trouble at those as a matter of fact, lots of newbie clerks. I have actually been in the store when customers come in with whack doodle ideas, which is fine, everyone has to learn sometime. As far as the guy saying they would not install a battery for his GF, its NOT THAT KIND OF SHOP although its fact I have been in NAPA when a a clerk DID install a battery for a guy who should have done it himself. mehhh. I imagine there are counter reps there who would wisely decline to install, it might even been an issue with the customers car. IF they break one of your lousy connections, are you going to be happy ? ITS YOUR CAR, DIY or GO TO A SERVICE SHOP. Jeeze if your battery is that bad (or old) you should realize that and plan accordingly. Pay a little more for the battery maybe, and have a sturdy young lad TRAINED BY A REPAIR SHOP to do it. YEs, I think sometimes the customer IS the problem! Any way, I know what I am talking about and I like NAPA, happy with my frequent interactions with them, but them again, I treat counter personnel like people , and not free techs

BAD SERVICE!!!!!! GO TO ANOTHER NAPA!! I took a Napa battery to check. The lady tested I told me is dead. So I drop the battery to be charge and pick the next day. Next day in the morning one of the employe say wasn't plug correctly to be charge, so i back home and call 3 hours later the person on the phone told me: Your battery not work you have to buy a new one... I bought this battery at another Napa store 3 or 4 months ago so was under 18 months Napa warranty. The guy told me if you don't have the receipt we cannot exchange, If I go to the store where I bought they may can find the receipt and exchange... I went to the Napa store where i bough and they are check and told me nothing is wrong the battery is 100% charge. WASTE THE TIME go to this Napa store......

Wow, I have never been so let down by an auto parts store. I visit auto parts stores on a near daily bases and used to work at one myself. Right when i walked in I could tell the store was unprofessional. Merchandise on the floor. Very dirty floors and appearance of store is terrible. Hardly any stock on the shelves. I stood at the service counter for about 15 min before somebody could help me. The employee (Seth) at the counter in front of me must have answered the phone about 3 or 4 times to help call in customers before walk ins. I was about to pull my cell phone out and call the store because i figured service might be quicker that way. When I did get assistance the person at the counter misidentified the type of alternator I had. (pointing at a piece of plastic he called a voltage regulator which obviously wasn't). The other 4 or 5 employees were running about the store looking very confused and on cell phones. I will never shop at this store again or any other NAPA. Because they hire people like this.

All of the guys here are ready to help you out. If you have questions about something, they will either give you advice or if they don't know, they will tell you that as opposed to giving you the run around. It's got the small town vibe and everyone in there just wants to help you find the right parts for the job.
